About a month ago I was finally able to close my ldr with my now husband. But because of financial struggles and the current housing market, we're staying at his parents' house temporarily. All of his siblings still live here so in total there are 7 people including me.
I've known that their hoarding has tamed down over the years, but sometimes it still drives me crazy how they live like this. I've helped out with cleaning and organizing a couple of their rooms but there's still some areas in the house I avoid going to because it makes me incredibly anxious, especially where my SIL and her husbands' areas.
They're probably the worst out of everyone. Their office space/gaming area is on a common area in a part of the house that leads to my husband and I's room, and currently it's filled with so many empty soda cans & boxes, dirty dishes that are starting to smell and rot, dirty takeout containers and bags, full trash (that's recently been dug through by one of their dogs), used clothes and blankets on the floor, etc. I try my best to ignore it..
My SIL and her husband also rarely does the dishes or take out the trash. It's been a number of times my husband's had to take out the trash in the common area that's mostly full of their garbage. I've had to clean up after their mess in the kitchen a number of times as well. They go to the grocery store almost every day and buy all sorts of food and junkfood that take up almost all the space in the fridge and pantry. A lot of them go bad too because they either forget about it or keep buying new food and then they get angry when other people touch them. They also buy a bunch of unnecessary furniture and decorations for their room and leave them out in the living room until someone mentions to put them away, and even then they take forever.
The hoarding stemed from MIL's side but she's gotten a lot better, and does her best to keep areas clean and organized. She's still a bit skeptical about getting rid of some stuff that she doesn't need (guest room full of her 'sentimental' items) but has made loads of effort to fix the issue.
I'm trying my best to help out, but sometimes I get extremely tired of cleaning after them, and often times I feel like I'm being used as a 'cleaner'. My husbands' been wonderful and has helped a lot with keeping up with making sure our room is tidy along with the common areas.
This is all mostly just to vent about my current living situation. Before I moved here, I used to live with my parents back at home, so it was just us 3 and our dog. Then it jumped from that to a house full of people that don't know clean up after themselves.
ETA: I understand it could be depression for some of them, that overwhelms them to clean. This is mostly just for vent. I still do my best to help them out with keeping the common areas clean so they don't have to worry about that. I am also unable to work right now as we're still waiting for my paperwork to process.
ETA 2: My SIL also doesn't work (chooses not to) because she's in College for one class and it's too overwhelming for her. All she does all day almost everyday is play video games or online shop. My husband's parents has given up with her because she's incredibly stubborn. I'm only adding this because my husband has expressed multiple times to his parents about his sister and her husband not doing anything for the house (chores and rent) but instead they turn it back on my husband and either tells him to just do it himself or call him lazy.

My cat is urinating in places beyond his litter box. It’s typically on a “dog item” - such as a dog bed, dog blanket or dog toys. We discovered he only does this when my dog returns from the vet, which is unfortunately quite frequent due to a auto-immune condition she is fighting.
How .. how do I deal with this? I’m so physically and emotionally exhausted from this experience that I’m considering rehoming my cat 😓 I very much do not want to do that. How do I get him used to the smell of other animals?

Do you long for a person who will be your best friend and most intimate partner wrapped into one? Are you affectionate, a bit weird, want to share hobbies and enjoy being protected and taken care of? Strap in, we might just be a match.
What makes finding my person somewhat difficult for me is that my personality is all over the place, I can't really be put into a box and I dream of finding someone I'm deeply compatible with. I have a PhD in physics/math and work in research and software development. My take on life is rather critical, rational and I'm not religious. BUT I'm also very emotional in other aspects and my biggest aspiration in life is having a happy, fulfilling relationship where we are inseparable, each others best friend and more. A soulmate sorta thing if you wish, even though souls obviously don't exist...right?
I'm really big on films/tv shows/video games/manga and some books. It's not just something I consume to overcome boredom though, I'm extremely interested in stories and the art of story telling. My tastes are varied and something that would be fun to discuss, some of the things I like:

• horror movies! even though I hate modern jump scares and nothing feels really "horror" anymore nowadays
• "artsy, deeper" movies without bordering into pretentiousness, a line that is entirely subjective but I shall still defend as if an objective truth. Kubrick I really like, also Disney.
• mostly story/character driven, single player games, Life is Strange, Dragon Age Origins and TLOU 1 have a special place in my heart
• would enjoy getting into multiplayer games together, I consider it a fantastic way to bond. Mario Kart for fun, League if we're feeling competitive
• music, especially older stuff rock, pop, some metal, classical and soundtracks!
• I actually like leaving the house too: photography, jogging, hiking, long walks (esp. at the beach while traveling) all form a nice balance to indoor hobbies
• cooking and baking!
• travelling!! It's fine if you haven't really travelled yet, but spontaneity and a sense of adventure would be a huge plus.

Appearance wise, 183 cm, caucasian, slimish/fitish/averageish build, short dark brown hair and eyes. Personally, I prefer women on the thinner side. Finally, I'll finish off with a list of traits that describe me and I'm simultaneously seeking out in a woman: puts in effort, sense of humour (did that come across...like, at all? Writing this post I felt like it was all rather serious at times, because I take this seriously, but my style of communication is more light hearted, being silly together, not taking everything too seriously, but being able to talk maturely should the situation require), responsible, curious, reliable, trustworthy, loyal, honest to a fault, dedicated, creative, self-aware, honest again because it's important, thoughtful, caring, kind but not a pushover, enjoys arguing/debating, romantic, sweet...Now, your turn.

5 Plagiarized Sega Master System Games
Today I'm going to take a break from Nintendo and talk about it's rival. Yeahhh Sega. Back when I was growing up you had the Nintendo household and the Sega household. Luckily I was in the Nintendo household because I think we can all agree that the NES dominated the gaming scene back then. The only kids that had the Master System were the weird ones. The kind of kid who would spend all day in class honking his nose. Yeahhh THOSE kids. Since then I've learned the the Master System was nothing but a plagiarism box! The majority of the games were nothing but ripoffs of popular NES games and you won't believe how many games they ripped off. Not 2 not even 3 or 4 but FIVE OV'UM! They plagiarized FIVE OV'UM!
First up on our list is Master of Darkness. Developed by SIMS and released in 1992, now, this game takes "inspiration" from Castlevania to a whole new level. It's not just a case of borrowing ideas it's blatant plagiarism! From the whip-wielding protagonist to the creepy harrar type settings and even the enemy designs, it's like they copy-pasted everything from Castlevania and hoped nobody would notice. I mean, come on! Can't they come up with their own original concepts? If you were in the Sega household and wanted to play Castlevania this was your only option.
Number 2 on our list.....heh number 2 pffffft is Batman Returns and guess what? It's another case of shameless plagiarism! This time, it's Contra that's been ransacked and repackaged as a Batman game. The side-scrolling action, the power-ups, the intense shooting sequences it's all ripped straight from Contra! I mean, seriously, can't they come up with their own unique gameplay mechanics? It's like they thought, "Hey, let's just slap the Batman logo on a Contra clone and call it a day." Well, sorry, Sega, but we're not falling for it. Give us originality, not recycled gameplay!"
Onto number 3. Hey does anyone remember that Ren and Stimpy episode where Stimpy told Ren he was going to the bathroom to take a number 3? What the hell is a number 3? Is it where you shit and piss at the same time? Speaking of shit and piss out next game is Power Strike II and the plagiarists at Sega strike again!
It's nothing more than a shameless copy of 1942. From the vertically scrolling shooter gameplay to the power-ups and enemy patterns, it's like they didn't even bother to come up with their own ideas. They just took 1942 changed your plane into a space ship and changed a few other enemies. There are still submarines right in the first level that look like they are straight out of 1942! I know a ripoff when I see one. Sega, you should be ashamed for trying to pass off this recycled garbage as a new game. We deserve better than this!"
This next one just may be the most heinously anusly plagiarism attempt I've ever seen and that is Alex Kidd in Miracle World. And oh boy let me tell you, this game is about as original as a photocopy. It's like Sega took a good look at Super Mario Bros. for the NES and said, "Hey, let's make our own version of that with the same power-ups, the hidden blocks, and even the coin collecting gimmick! It's a blatant ripoff. I can't help but feel like I'm playing a poor man's Super Mario Bros.' knockoff. Oh but wait they did come up with one unique idea on their own and that is rock paper scissors. I'm not even kidding. At the end of every level you have to play a game of rock,paper,scissors with some asshole and if you lose you have to redo the entire level! I know I've said this before but I really mean it this time "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING" It'd be like if your brother came up to you while your were playing and said guess what number I'm thinking of. If you guess right you can keep playing. If you guess wrong I'm going to kick you in the nuts. Who wants to do that?!
GAME #5 - To be determined (waiting for Mike to stream more SMS)
So to sum it up the Sega Master System was nothing but a Nintendo ripoff. That must be why when the NES Classic game out Sega didn't even bother with a SMS Classic and skipped straight to the Genesis. It seems that it wasn't until the Genesis until they started coming up with their own ideas like Sonic the Hedgehog. Even though I was a Nintendo household roomgoer Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is the game that made me buy a Sega Genesis. To end this video I say, Sega Master System? More like Sega Mashturd Pissed'em!

So I read the singularity's lore and watched videos and honestly it's boring and convoluted. He sees humans as inferior but wants to make himself one, kinda wants a robot uprising but kills other ai, like bruh. So I've decided to rework it. The changes: When Hux came across the ancient alien tech he came across the same crystal, the crystal contained the stored consciousness of an alien that when taking over Hux became sentient in Hux's body and the reason it's using the cloning tech is that the alien is trying to make itself a new body and bring back it's dead race. After it created itself a new body to plant its mind in the singularity was swallowed by a dark fog, when it arrived in the entity's realm without its new body the singularity was outraged, but the entity told it that if it sacrifices the survivor's on the hooks that the entity would use them to create a new body with the singularity mori'ing those it sees unfit for its body.

Part 1
All of these characters are things we see in both cartoons and reality TV shows. Spanky Ham is considered directly inspired by a cast member from The Real World: San Francisco called David Rainey, aka Puck, who was kicked out of the house for being so unruly, with moments like fighting with a guy who had AIDS over a jar of peanut butter. I know that it sounds like I made up that sentence, but that’s something that actually happened that contributed to him being kicked out of the house. He lives on in infamy as a pig who eats sausage and shits in a cantaloupe.
But to continue in this direction, the show is heavily inspired by “real” people from reality shows. I think the way David Rainey acts is real, since later interviews show him not changing one bit. But a lot of these people are, again, fitting an archetype. A cartoony archetype, if you will. Again, this is the irony of postmodernism where the style of content was changed and yet the way of handling characters remains the same.
It’s almost as if postmodernists don’t believe in their own skepticism and it’s just a pseudo-skeptical movement that still has to obey rules or something.
Modernist cartoons hold archetypes so that people can understand the symbolism, while postmodernist archetypes are used as a way to make it easier to reproduce the same content over and over again, and sell it over and over again. This mass production that causes reproduction is exactly what Drawn Together is making fun of by causing some of the worst characters out there to still relate to established archetypes by simply attaching to a role without the means of accomplishing the same goals. Superman is brave and is a hero through action. Captain Hero got his name by fucking a hero sandwitch. Both are aliens from another planet with super powers, but Captain Hero’s arch nemesis is called Scroto, who is an evil mastermind that tricks Hero into washing his dirty old man balls over and over again. Captain Hero isn’t actually a superhero by definition, just by identity and because he looks the part by appearance. Xandir isn’t really a video game character, he’s just meant to look like one, which also happens to make him look incredibly gay. Princess Clara acts like a princess, but not a Disney princess, even though she looks like a Disney one.
I guess we can say Spanky acts like a pig and looks like a pig, but more in how he is a pig as in a greedy, dirty, or unpleasant person.
The way postmodernism causes juxtaposition that works is by simply changing how things were in modernism and using some kind of word play or changing of meaning to cause a different result. It wouldn’t work if Princess Clara was a ball of light, and it wouldn’t work if Toot was a floating brown cloud of farts; even though these could be played on the names in a surreal way. Yes, Clara means bright and Toot is a word for fart, but these wouldn’t be related to a previous subject matter, which is where intertextuality kicks in to make the whole thing work.
Intertextuality is where one text works off of another text to create a different meaning. This is done through quotation, allusion, calque, plagiarism, translation, pastiche, or parody, or interconnections between similar or related works perceived by an audience. That might sound like a lot of jargon, but all that means is that stuff in postmodernism takes from something else during modernism or prior and works off of it so that the audience can relate to it. If I didn’t know of any of these cartoons and just saw a bunch of different characters in one house, I would think this is entirely stupid and random. But since I know about the history behind it all, and the show constantly reminds us that these are parodies with 4th wall breaks, we are able to see that there is a reason for the surreal nature.
Without intertextuality, the theme is reduced to nonsense. With intertextuality, the theme is… still nonsense but now we have an understanding as to what caused it to be made and what they’re referencing. Intertextuality is not exclusive to postmodernism, but the way postmodernism handles it causes this hyper reliance on intertextuality to have it be remotely relatable. This becomes a big problem for globalization because many people are unable to understand the references when they aren’t part of the culture or circle, which can create things to be very niche. That very thing is actually why so many people simply avoid video games, or video game based movies, or anime, or flash parodies about games or anime.
This is also the reason the skits from movie reviewers like everyone on Channel Awesome never really appeal to people, because there is so much requirement that’s put as a hurdle rather than a welcome mat. Jargon and special language is a big part of postmodernism because of the focus on personal interpretation. If the reader could easily understand the writer, the reader would know that the writer isn’t saying much, so the postmodernist writer relies on open interpretation to keep the work both vague and niche. In other words, the postmodernist is determined to keep out the plebs, the sheeple, and the fogeys. The people who don’t relate to the subject matter will show themselves out and there is no reason to try to appeal to everyone because the subject matter is designed to offend and reject.
There is something strange about the idea that they could combine cartoons with reality TV, because the main appeal of reality TV is to see a real person doing something. But to have a cartoon copy reality TV is almost like watching hentai: you get the same thing as the real thing, without having to look at actual humans, and there is more ability to fulfill fetishes you never knew you had. But I’m sure even the most aggressive hentai lovers can understand that it’s not for everyone and it’s an acquired taste. I’ve been trying to figure out who exactly watches cartoons and hentai, and after a 5 minute search, I realized that cartoons need a lot of dedication to art to be appreciated after the age of 13. Usually a person doesn’t care about an adult cartoon unless they plan to make one themselves or are simply unable to grow out of it.
That and apparently 10% of japanese people are schediaphiles, meaning they are sexually and romantically interested in anime characters.
I know this is weird for me to connect a weird fetishes to a cartoon featuring necrophilia, because the two have nothing to do with each other, but we can’t ignore the idea that people can be attracted to cartoon characters. For me, I appreciate the art of a lot of media, especially adult animation when it actually tries, like Duckman. But the part of Drawn Together I appreciate is how they play with our expectations concerning each of these types of characters.
Remember before when I said Wooldoor randomly has big titties and gets his shirt wet? This is put in the show as a joke, but also as a jab at people who try to sexualize stuff with rule 34. If it’s drawn, there’s porn of it, no matter what. This is mostly to please the people who are schediaphiles, which is a surprising number. A fun fact about them is that there was a survey done and the female hentai lovers had a surprising consensus when it comes to fearing abandonment. For a woman to demand a fake relationship with a fake character means that she’s demanding the lack of a child, and mostly because she doesn’t want that child to later leave her, or for the husband to leave her.
I think this plays a lot into why a show like this is quick to resort to nudity in practically every episode, as well as the fact that they can draw stuff and already kind of have to draw nudity just by outlining something. But then there is also this thing with reality TV where nudity is almost a requirement. There are dating shows like Flavor of Love that has every chick whore themselves out so they can date a guy that looks like that Uruk-hai that Aragon beheaded. They’ll have them hang out at pools and do sexy dances, they’ll be jerking each other off in the shower, and then we’re supposed to care about who the guy choses at the end of an episode. It’s like Hell’s Kitchen but if people tried to stay in the game by unzipping his dungarees and giving his London broil a good shellacking.
I feel like Drawn Together wanted to do this, but couldn’t really afford to remove contestants every episode like Total Drama Island, so they decided to transition the plot structure to more typical sitcom fashion. We get episodes like where the cast turns into babies and do the same disgusting behavior but as babies. We get episodes where Toot has to go back to fat camp to do a reunion dance and tricks Zandir into joining her by finding cheat codes to control him. There are Transformers parodies, care bears, cabbage patch, Nesquik, Uncle Ben, there’s an episode where survivor is played with, there’s Fat Albert and Archie comic types of characters.
The show is a perfect breeding ground for making fun of basically anything drawn, which is crazy to think about because that should bring about Family Guy level of survivability. Just make fun of a cartoon and the episode is done. But, sadly, it was canceled after 2 seasons and didn’t get a chance to really spread its wings. It was deemed too offensive to continue. Advertisers and morality groups rejected it, caused it to lack profitability, and the network threw it in the trash. If the show survived to this decade, it would be canceled anyway.
Strangely, the show is so postmodernist in how it doesn’t care about anything that it can’t survive in the current postmodernist era of being hyper offended. Because postmodernism relies on subjectivity, companies can now subjectively be offended at anything, even though these companies are more than happy to pretend they stand for the LGBT or even women entering porno. There is stuff that should cancel these advertisers and morality groups, yet they are the ones doing the canceling. This is why I call the show a martyr.
It died for the freedom of being able to offend and all that happened is that the network it was on went more woke and the online environment makes it so that it can’t really be talked about. But somehow, paramount plus happily tries to advertise it. This is the company that owns nickelodeon and created that new Transformers show where the robot and a female human call themselves non-binary. This is the company that made a Blue’s Clues episode that features a drag queen singing about a pride parade. If anything, the show is only promoted on the streaming site because they want to make money from their enemies.
It just doesn’t make sense to me that a company will get more offended and advocate harder for the woke, but then happily promote one of the most offensive cartoons out there. That is, unless there’s money involved. So at the end of this long dive into Drawn Together, without talking much about what exactly happens in the show, we can conclude that the show died for our sins… just to be used by a company as a means of making money from their enemies. They wouldn’t dare make another show like it, because that would be against the woke agenda, which is weird since the show already features black and gay people.
A big problem for a lot of people to recognize is the difference between how the woke and postmodernists represent groups. The postmodernist will represent it because it’s trying to subvert things in a deconstruction way. The woke will represent as a quota and as a requirement for only particular groups. In other words, a postmodernist has no problem making a white black panther, while the woke will try to kill anyone who even thinks of committing such a haram act. Sadly, the inability for the postmodernist to care and to hold a standard is what caused everything to turn woke in barely 20 years.
The show ended in 2007, during the time of South Park’s prime and Family Guy’s revival. Apparently, the only adult cartoons left are ones that rely on hyper violence and random netflix stuff like Big Mouth, which tries to desperately retain the postmodernist legacy without entering the woke territory. I don’t remember much from that show, but I’m pretty sure it failed. Now we have people begging for postmodernism because anything is better than the slop coming out these days.
Do I think Drawn Together is a good show? Absolutely.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely.
Who is it for? Well… because it’s a cartoon, it will relate heavily to those who would watch a cartoon to begin with. But the viewer must love offensive things, and I’m not sure if that’s a dying race these days or just a silent majority that’s hiding in plain sight.
So it’s not that postmodernism makes everything terrible, and it’s not that subversion and intertextuality causes me to hate postmodernism. I simply hate the fact that postmodernism leads itself towards the woke. It creates this personal language that causes people to speak past each other and never even try to relate with each other, adding jargon on top of jargon. It’s too alienating, with the woke becoming increasingly divisive as time goes on, and as their agenda gets more rabid. We can’t enjoy a simple kid’s show without seeing their agenda in full force, because the animation department decided to get a bunch of diversity hires. I mean, who else is going to be in their room drawing pictures over and over again for months on end?
I am just glad something like F is for Family was made before things got too crazy. Something as simple as a more hardcore version of King of the Hill is a breath of fresh air, and it has Drawn Together to thank for paving the way for that type of humor. Animated characters being sexual and disturbing is funny. Animated characters trying to be funny with their sexuality is disturbing. The woke will do everything in their power to say these are the same thing. They will beg you to believe them when they pretend to be postmodernist, because in a way they are. But always remember that the woke can’t be fully postmodernist in how they pretend to be, because they are forced to care and establish moral demands from others.
Drawn Together had black characters follow stereotypes, gay characters die a million times over, and all of the women are openly slimeballs. I feel like the show perfectly encapsulated how the woke would make media, but without it being tongue in cheek or satire. I’ve honestly had trouble finding a likeable character from all of these woke shows coming out, but I’m sure I would like it if the show made it known that these were parodies of something else. But by the end of it all, I think the best thing to do is to cherish Drawn Together for its sacrifice and hope that someday a media renaissance brings us another show like it.
That or for my satire of postmodernism to take off. That would be freakin’ sweet.

So I have a portable SSD with Ubuntu 22.04LTS installed on it. My drivers should be up-to-date. I downloaded everything and was able to get Single Player campaign to install by using pure Wine, 6.something or other, in a supposedly 64-bit WINEPREFIX set to Windows 10. I had my own Steam version of Doom installed in the same prefix in the .steam/steamapps/common folder so it should be 64-bit. After, it goes to a directX webserver installer which errors out right after clicking the "I Agree" box and hitting Next. It says something, then says check the DX logs. I don't remember exactly what they said but the confusing thing is the two redistributables then install without any error being reported. It then asks to run Doom and I do...but all I get is an infinitely lasting black window instead. After closing it and trying to run wine or winecfg it says a bunch of xrandr (no idea exactly what this is besides Linux video drivegraphics handling stuff) errors. The most notable is that GPUs aren't detected and it can't create a window. The only way to use wine again is to either change the active prefix or restart my computer, or possibly just bash. Any help is appreciated! I've heard there is an actual directX installer in DOOM's redistributable folder but I don't have those. Just the FitGirl web one.

Hold your horse 'fore you bust your britches, I've sunk hundreds of hours into all of 343's games and (even as a self-admitted bungo fanboy) I think they're all great games that had something uniquely fun about them. However, with all the talk about Marathon and the strong change in art direction for the reboot and how different the look, feel, and atmosphere is when looking at the original trilogy, a fella was feeling reflective on the Halo franchise and couldn't help but note the change from the moodier tone of the Bungie-era games. When 343 took over the mood of the franchise shifted the games felt brighter and carried a far less somber tone then previous entries.
Halo 4 may not be the biggest offender, but it's story took on a far more clear-cut science fiction approach. Forerunner aesthetics changed from the more brutalist and ancient look to a far more chromified look. The promethean knights did add a little bit of a spooky flair that was nice but their gameplay was clunky, robotic, and mostly reskinned covenant enemies. It's a dead horse by now, but these change had an impact on the overall feeling of the game that felt more like Star Trek. Halo 5 only took this a few steps further and added so many floating pieces to nearly every forerunner design, corners were removed from the game (for real every 90 degree angle has been sanded down in this game), and the lighting changes left the game feeling plastic like meanwhile the whole game feels like a superhero movie combined with a poorly setup mystery game (the second mission in that games is the only exception to this general shift in tone). Infinite definitely brought things back in line with traditional aesthetic (even though 343 insists on making everything forerunner shiny metal) but ultimately keeps a brighter tone with a few sweet stoic moments thrown in. The mystery of the ring starts to fall apart as the environment was only pine forests and all the chrome corridors looked kinda samey.
Now I've picked apart these other games but I hear you asking, "well what was so grand and special about boongies game nerd?" I got you baby, lemme take you on a little trip back to '01. Second mission of the game has you exploring this ring and nails the atmosphere, the leftover Forerunner facilities feel derelict and ancient showing millennia onto millennia of aging (a trend well-continued in the sequels). Theres so much to learn but you're too busy starving off alien ISIS and then accidentally released a space-borne STD. This continues throughout all three installments and brings me to the first real MAJOR shift.
Forerunners to the forefront- flood gone :(. Halo 4 got my little 12 yo brain in frenzy by announcing the return of the Forerunners. I had been playing catch up to the franchise that was in development before I was conceived (thanks nothing mom and dad) and so to be there to experience what should've been a seismic shift in story was exciting. But the disappointing presentation the Didact and Forerunners isn't what I want to talk about. It's the change from setting to main character. Forerunners were enigmatic, mysterious, and dead. All that was left was what they left behind. This is already a pretty ominous and foreboding setup as your war for survival takes place on a battleground that has existed long before you and long after you only to discover a zombie parasite that seeks to consume all life was locked away there and now shits hit the fan. And something about this carries so much atmosphere. Think maps like Isolation, locked in a box, wind blowing in your ears, groans coming from the abyss meanwhile flood-herpes grow all over. Any idea wtf is going on? Me neither and that's the point.
When the Forerunners were brought to center stage, everything mysterious was lost. This big structures weren't stuck in purgatory but were alive and brimming with energy. The hallways weren't dark and filled with evil shit, but were leftover sets from Tron Legacy. Halo 5 has a human AI take over all this stuff for her maniacal plan (ChatGPT?), and Halo Infinite removed all that business to replace it with a new enemy that look just like a Forerunner anyway. Basically, cats out the bag and nothing is secret anymore. The Forerunners and subsequentially the Flood loomed over everything before. Our war with the Covenant was just another battle in a much older fight, one that only nerds who read the books fully understand. Our A.I. girlfriend slept the night at his house and we had to crawl throw all the grime and slosh just to get her home safely. Our only solution was a big explosion that nearly destroyed one of the last major creation by the Forerunners. There was always something beyond what the player was experience but was always present as well.

Hi, pretty new to video editing and I need some help. I want to make a video where I am taking tissues out of a tissue box one by one, but each tissue has a picture that is edited onto it, if that makes sense.
The best example I could quickly find is this: like how the Instagram logo here is edited onto the flag and it follows the ripples & waves.
Is this idea possible & what kind of vocabulary/terms should I be Googling? If it is something with way too steep a learning curve, I'll probably shelve the idea for next time. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I was really happy after I finished my Endymion deck (it still needs refinement is not "done" but its playable) but then after playing with actual people I just saw what this game has become with the passing years and I just don't agree with the game and it's direction, modern Yugioh feels wrong.
I think Master Duel as a platform is great and the f2p experience is very decent so this is not really a complain about the app but the game this app is representing which is Yugioh.
But overall the issues I have as a returning Yugioh player is:

• The game has become solitaire, the first thing you will notice is that it takes ages for the opponent to end their turn
• The rules about not being able to summon more than one monster may aswell just not exist anymore because you can litterally summon an horde of monsters and this is really not an specialized deck situation no, most decks work like that now
• You can now constantly interrupt your opponent even from his own turn and from your hand
• Cards that look like bibles with tons of effects and little time to see what is happening
• This point is actually a complain with MD itself: why do you put an insta losing if you run out of time?, why not just give the turn to the opponent like any other card game, its like the developers of this game don't realize that Yugioh has tons of effects and stuff you need to read on top of the thinking you have to do and they decided it was a good idea to punish you with an insta loss if you run out of time?, its ridiculous.
• Remember I said your opponent can interrupt you in your own turn? well they can also basically play an entire turn on your own turn, its beyond ridiculous
• The powercreep is through the roof seriously the amount of ways that decks this days can get a one turn kill or very fast wins is insane
• Remember when black hole and raigeki were considered broken and even banned? well now you have stuff like: " Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS- Sky Thunder" (fucking name) that can do something even worse and its considered fine.

Modern Yugioh feels like you were in a boxing match and instead of trading blows back and forward untill someone wins is as if the boxers had a Rope and handcufs and tried their best to tie the other one first and then when one of them is completely tied then now proceeds to fuck him up and win. Its some coward stuff seriously.
I just don't feel the same satisfaction of playing when I played the old DS WC games or even old IRL Yugioh, I feel like the game just changed too much and made it just not fun anymore, no wonder many people prefer other card games even if they lack the complexity of Yugioh they are fun at least and old Yugioh was complex and it didn't needed all of this new stuff that I listed.
