Christmas vacation button up shirt

I've been dealing with this since May 30th, UPS beeps as soon as the grid power goes out even with the UPS turned OFF. I've scoured the internet with no success at finding someone with the same probelm and I'm starting to lose my mind as it beeps all night until grid power is back. The model is: ncts-nu9220. I've emailed the company twice with no response. It has no lcd and no other buttons than the on/off and the reset (it doesn't do anything). I'm asking you guys as a last resort because the ups is borrowed and the owner doesn't know what the problem is nor does he seem to want it to get taken to a repair shop. Please help me!

This situation has been ongoing since End of February this year. The guy I’ve been talking to is a coworker of mine and we met late January. Early on in our friendship people said we fought like a old married couple and seemed to be flirting. I brushed it off because frankly I’m stupid and don’t realize someone likes me until it’s literally in my face told to me. We got close really fast and I realized that I was starting to like him. Based off how he acted/talked to me. I won’t go into huge detail of the now months of basically dancing around one another. But we have hung out outside of work and text fairly regularly. Same with me as I’ve had to use his extra work clothes a couple times. It all came to ahead basically on Monday. Where another coworker in Spanish asked if I was his girlfriend, and he nodded but we have not had a communication to know if we are actually going to have a thing or make anything official. He’s leaving Thursday morning and I’m wondering if I should try to clarify if he actually wants to be official by the time he gets back. Especially since he joked with me saying he wonders if he needs to be conservative or if he’s able to let loose on his trip. My friends have come up with the message of “Hey I wanna know what your intentions with me are. I’ve sensed a vibe and heard from people you want something from me. But I just want to know if you actually do when you get back” but I want to know if I can word it better or add on. I also don’t know if I should send it before or after he leaves lmao

So far my favorite combination is 'Desert Voe Headband' for a cute bun and earrings. 'Charged Shirt ' for the blouse and skirt. And then 'Trousers of the Hero' to show off the legs.

i listed replica football shirts on ebay and a couple sold and are arriving to the customers, but the other ones got taken down because they were ‘counterfeit’. obviously i listed them cheap since they were replicas but if i want to stop it from being taken down what can i do to stop this from happening when i next list the shirts again. i also noticed other sellers who are selling the same shirts with the exact same photos still have their listings. can someone help me and tell me how i can keep my products up. Im a 56 year old male. I’m just over two years since my diagnosis. I had just had my six month check up with my doctor and all my numbers are good. I live in the US. Last week I took my first international trip since my diagnosis. I did a walking tour of the west of Ireland (Western Way - 5 legs). I was very nervous because I didn’t think I would be able to relax the whole trip too worried about what I could eat. I had brought some safe food with me, but I was rolling the dice a bit - hoping things would go well. The trip started out as I thought it would. Aer Lingus did not have anything for me to eat on the way over. Pre flight I had filled out a form asking for GF food and I got back an email that said “Unfortunately, we cannot advise on the menu in advance of your trip, but rest assured that we will cater to your needs.” Turns out they didn’t have any food for my on the flight, I had expected as such and had my own food to get me through the flight. We had booked the walking tour through a company that would take our bags from place to place while we walked to each location. I contacted the company about a month out to try and ease my mind that I wouldn’t spend my walking vacation not walking - if you know what I mean. Their response was that they had notified the combination of hotels and BnB’s that we were staying at about my dietary needs. That very casual response did not have me confident that I would be OK. When we go to the first BnB, I talked to the host about my needs. She said that she had not been informed about my request - my worst fears realized. As a side note EVERY PLACE we went to eat had a menu with allergens listed on it. I had read that Ireland has the highest percentage of celiacs per population in the world. Everywhere we went to eat, the staff knew about it and were very helpful (unlike the US). Turns out our first host could not have been nicer and more helpful to me. We stayed two nights at the BnB. After I had told her of my restrictions she talked to her friend who was a doctor who was able to advised her on how to deal with my needs. We ended up going out to dinner the first night. After talking to the waiter I had a meal that didn’t cause a reaction. I will say it seems that I am luck and that I am not super sensitive. I’m learning how to deal with my new reality in real time. The next morning our host was asking me what did I have to eat last night - are you OK. And breakfast was very considerate of my needs. I started feeling a bit more at ease. After the second day walk when we returned the host took me aside to tell me that the company had told her about my restrictions but she had forgot 🙄. To try and keep it short the rest of the trip ended up being a reaction free amazing trip. All I can say is I wish US restaurants had to list their allergens like I saw in Ireland. Granted it seems I am not as sensitive to cross contamination as others, but still knowing what you’re getting into is so helpful. I went to more that one restaurant that had a separate GF menu (one place called it flour free🤣) and made it 10 days without getting a reaction. As a side note Aer Lingus had a GF meal and snack for me on the flight home. This post is long enough already. If anyone has questions - ask away.

I'm not sure what to do or where to post this. This seemed as good a place as any. It's where we celebrated his big movie deal.
I got really close to Nick over the last couple years. We texted a lot. He told me about his late wife. How she'd gotten sick. How hard it was to lose her. I was so proud when he sold his story. He deserved it. He'd been through so much. He's lost his wife so young.
Our texting had gotten more sporadic the last few months. It seems like that was when the body was uncovered. On May 11 he stopped texting abruptly. I guess now I know why, but it was unlike him to ghost. I knew he decided to go with Killian Stark for writing now. Tonight I googled his name. I wanted to find his writer website. I wanted to email and ask him what was going on. Where he went.
This feels like gossiping about a friend. I'm trying to hold two people in my mind; the sad widower whose wife died after illness, and this other person. The one who left his wife scattered over two separate counties. Not saying anything feels like protecting the second version of him, the one I just found out about.
I've been googling ever since. Was it really him? Was it the right guy? I found a wedding photo. I've only seen a picture of you once Nick, and I recognize your face. The names and places are too close to ignore.
I guess I'm talking to him too here, because I am angry at that first person I mentioned. The guy that seemed so nice. My friend. I thought we were friends. You were there for me through a lot. I'm trying to wrap my head around this new information. What the fuck, Nick? What the fuck?

My dad and stepmom moved to the other side of the country when I was a baby. I lived with my mom for a bit and then with my grandparents. My whole childhood was neglectful and terrible but that another post.
I talked to my dad on the phone a few times a year, and saw him maybe 5-8 times throughout my childhood and teens. It was regular but superficial conversation always. Like slightly different versions of the same conversation. He didn't put zero effort but he was the classic Disney dad.
This story is about 10 years ago when I was 25 and graduating college. They wanted to come fly in for my graduation ceremony, which I was fine with initially.
Then he said they wanted to stay a whole week to spend time together. I told him that it wouldn't be a good time to stay for a week unless they had other people to visit or something. I had finals until the day of the ceremony and only two weeks between graduation and starting my new post graduation job to find an apartment, say goodbye to my college friends, and move. They said that was fine and they would just find things to do in the area when I was busy. I told them it would be better to visit after I was situated if they wanted to stay longer but they insisted.
So when they get in I'm doing my finals still and my dad calls me like drop what your doing and meet me at the bar for drinks to celebrate. I said no and he said you don't need to worry about finals bc you already got the job you wanted after graduation. I still declined. After the ceremony he left to drop my stepmom with her aunt, which they hadn't previously told me and my dad wouldn't explain why.
All week my dad was trying to get me to blow off my other stuff to hang out with him. Trying to stay in my small college apartment in a sleeping bag instead of his hotel even though I made it clear beforehand I didn't want anyone spending the night. Trying to convince me not to work out my two week notice at my part time job I had in school so I could go party with him. Just in general being intrusive and stressing me out while I was trying to get situated.
The one thing he did do that was helpful on the last day he helped me move but he made comments about how I needed to relax the whole time. Then I was supposed to be dropping him off at the hotel so I could go to my apartment and unpack but he insisted I come up to his room.
He opened a beer and I said I didn't want to drink bc I need to go unpack and he starts going into this long monologue about him and my stepmom are having problems and might get divorced and that why she's not here. It ended up taking the whole night, I didn't get any unpacking done.
I realized that he only came bc he basically wanted an emotional support vacation away from her, no matter how inconvenient to me. Every year when I see graduation pictures I get upset bc I remember how one of my biggest accomplishments was unnecessarily stressful and full of boundary pushing. Him and my stepmom are still married and I haven't seen them since.

I have my camera's set up on a vlan that only allows local access (or VPN into my network).
The one thing I can't understand if why I am unable to enable Push Notifications. Everytime I try to turn the toggle button on, I get an "Operation Failed" message.
Could this be because it needs access to the internet (for some reason...).

Here’s a thing that happened to one of my friends. I was there.
Basically, we were walking down the sidewalk, talking about something meaningless. I think it had to do with a movie. Then this bus screeches up, stops next to us, and a bunch of people with “Down with Cis” shirts climbed out and started beating him up. I was punched and kicked a bit too, but I managed to avoid brutalization by going for their faces. After figuring out what’s happening, I started attacking them back, getting them off of him. He was quite injured but I called 911 and he made a full recovery at the hospital. I was fine, with only a cut on my arm that they patched up.

I own a brand and it’s coming up 6 years. We’re fairly big, but still a small business. We have lately been seeing an uptick of customer complaints on our shirts, which include our bread and butter: Next level 6210. Things from seams ripped apart, collar not sewn all the way, the edges not sewn. Not only that, we’ve been getting complaints of the shrinkage, and we saw fabric difference between shorts in the same shipment.
We maybe had 1 complaint every few months but now it’s a LOT. I can’t QC 3000+ shirts a month, my printer will find some if it’s obvious.
Have you guys seen this before? It’s getting out of hand.
We also use Bella canvas 3001 100% cotton shirts because we want size inclusive colorful shirts for our customer but the complaints is that these shrink a lot, even when they wash cold and hang dry (which I doubt) and the sizing inconsistencies compared to the 6210.
So full disclosure I’m not a screen printer myself, but I am here to learn what my screen printers do in hopes that maybe one day we acquire his business and scale it (eventually) and I like seeing what y’all can do and applying it to my own designs/business.

Idk why i’m even posting this here, but the thing is i cant get over what a “friend” of mine said about my sister, her brother apparently forwarded a screenshotted photo of my sister to her which I caught cus she forwarded it to me on whatsapp and thats how I found it that she got the picture from someone else, anyway, she said “is it her?! oh my god, shes a grown up but I don’t remember her nose being like that? It was fine as a child.. I mean no offense” My sister is objectively gorgeous(not being biased, i hate this about her) & she has a button nose(our culture prefers pointy noses. Not that it matters? Dunno why i’m trying to make sense of any of this) and the only reason she stumbled across a photo of my sister is because i’m know her brother who is pervy saw her in the gym and stalked her and found out she’s my sister. This made me so angry/overwhelmed? my sister says i’m overreacting and i was so i decided to distract myself but then I keep remembering she said this, and my heart drops. I dont know how a she can complain about men being trash so often and yet couldnt put any sense into her brother about being respectful, & has managed to raise a guy who is misogynistic and has very unsafe vibes! maybe I’m triggered imaging them being meaner towards my sister behind my back? Him being a creep? Or is it because I didn’t shut her down in the moment or did it trigger something else in me? I don’t wanna be mean but they are objectively unattractive and unintelligent and didn’t even go to college. I really dont wanna have mean thoughts about them or anyone, but?!!!! This is all just childish as I’m reading it back but i’m mad. Thoughts ? What should I do now ?

Everything I know — from empathy to the principles of making money — I learned by following in the footsteps of my late father, Ted Cohen. We spoke for hours every day. He was, and always will be, my best friend, advisor and biggest advocate. A successful glassware importer with an impeccable work ethic, my father never missed a day on the job. If he were here today, he’d be worried about the millions of unemployed and struggling businesses across the country. The warehouse workers, drivers, construction workers and small-business owners — those are the people he respected most. Looking back on his life and influence, the following five principles he showed me were critical to my success building Chewy.com and investing.
Watch your expenses
Disciplined capital allocation is one of the most important skills for running a successful business. Thanks to my father, I had the privilege of learning this firsthand. He kept track of every expense —his power bills, daily gasoline prices that impacted transportation costs, the individual prices of hundreds of glassware products that he sold. My father also kept tabs on Chewy’s metrics. He memorized the key performance indicators in both of our businesses.
At Chewy, we had maniacal discipline when it came to how we spent money. The company-wide culture of frugality came from his example. Free cash flow was our unwavering governor of growth. We grew Chewy from $200 million in sales in 2013 to $3.5 billion in 2018 while spending only $130 million in capital, all of which went into opening distribution centers across the country and acquiring new customers.
Delight your customers
My father always repeated this quote from his own father: “If you take a carload of this (pointing to a pallet of glassware) you’ll make more money. But if you take a carload of that (pointing to a different pallet), you’ll make less money, but you’ll keep the customer. So, take a carload of that.”
When we started Chewy in 2011, selling pet food online wasn’t a novel idea. The field was crowded with competitors, including Amazon. But our mission was to delight customers in a more personal way. We believed combining the experience of the neighborhood pet store with the convenience of shopping online was a key differentiator. The focus was fast shipping, competitive pricing and providing customers with a hyper-specialized experience. My father showed me how building lifelong relationships with customers was far more valuable than optimizing for short-term profits.
Be the person others want to follow
My father led by example, but not in a deliberate way. It’s who he was. He never patronized anyone. He admired the blue-collar worker. I watched him roll up his sleeves and help his employees move shipments of glassware from trucks into the warehouse, then put his suit jacket back on, shirt drenched in sweat, and do administrative work. I’ve never seen anyone work harder.
I was fortunate to find employees at Chewy who worked relentlessly to grow the company from a three-person operation to a household brand with more than 10,000 employees. We didn’t disrupt the pet industry by accident. Our team made huge sacrifices. We opened our first fulfillment center in early 2014, and everything from the warehouse management system to the Wi-Fi would constantly break down. The team worked 16-hour days for weeks until our supply chain was humming. Everyone from the fulfillment staff to the directors and executives were committed to Chewy’s success. You don’t get that level of dedication by leading through fear. My father always said, “You catch more bees with honey than with vinegar.”
Take the long view
My father was never looking to make a quick buck. He had no interest in material possessions. Every year, through thick and thin, he invested his savings into the stock market. He believed the real money was made through time in the market, not timing the market. When I was 13, he gave me a chart comparing real estate to stock market returns since the 1920s. Real estate annualized returns were around 4 percent, and the stock market was around 9 percent. It didn’t take long for me to figure out which I preferred. I’ve been investing ever since. My father never invested in any fancy funds or paid management fees. He bought blue chip companies and held them forever. His 20-year annualized stock returns were over 10 percent. He never borrowed money or paid interest.
As we scaled Chewy, many advised us to slow down and raise prices. We disagreed. Key to our success was obsessing over customers and market leadership. Over the long term, customers and profits intersect.
Trust yourself
Entrepreneurs don’t operate with a handbook. My father taught me how to be independent and trust my own moral compass. He encouraged me to separate myself from the herd and think critically. When I told him I had no desire to go to college, he shrugged. Whether he agreed with my decisions or not, he supported me unconditionally. Letting me make my own decisions sowed the seeds for me to become an entrepreneur. The confidence to never compromise my vision of building Chewy into the largest pet retailer came from knowing if I failed, he would always love me.
For 45 years, he was the first employee to open his office and last one to leave. He showed me how perseverance and discipline ultimately pay off. Not only was his work ethic unmatched, so was his commitment to family. He gave me unconditional love and showed me how to be a father. Above all, he taught me that the best decisions come from heart, instincts and empathy.
Dad, I will forever be grateful.
