It has a lot of scales, tunings (it can have from 1 string to 14, bass included (sound for bass is different than for guitar)), you can add your scale or tuning, you can select the look of the fretboard and the look of scale markers. On each scale you can look what chords fit each scale degree "( i )" button. And you can select these chords that fit and app will display the notes of them on the scale.In the Menu -> Trainer there are different games to train notes/intervals/ear (also notes and intervals).In general app is very customizable. It is not a new app, so I had time to implement a lot of feature requests users asked for. Most of feature requests were implemented. Only some feature requests that don't fit the architecture of the app or principles were skipped.If you have any questions about whether the app can do what you want or you have some feature you would like to see let me know either by using "Menu -> Feature request" (via E-mail, this is preferred if you have very specific question because I would be able to provide instructions with screenshots as a response) or ask here. Any feedback is welcomed.
Also once you set up something on a fretboard you can save it as a picture (the whole fretboard or part of it) for later use. I think this would be useful for a lot of people who don't want to return to the app every time. Or just need a diagram to print.
By the rules of subreddit I see that advertising isn't allowed if the main purpose is to get money, but my app has everything free that anybody would ever need (all the main scales (all modes of Major scale, pentatonics, etc)? all the main chords). Only a small number of things are not free which you will never need anyway.I don't really make a lot of money from this app. 2h working as a programmer pays me more than I make from this app in a month and I spent a lot of months building it and improving. Just want it to be useful for somebody since I put so much effort into it.

Good evening, u/redco_moderncallout. I am going to put this out there first: This is a GOOD update, though many people will disagree because of the new business model with Shanix and in-app purchases, and the new crate system. The transition from Apple Arcade to App Store immediately opens up the doors for more people to play, but the game is still exclusive to Apple devices, which is a shame and will hopefully expand even further soon so that Android and other phone users can join us. The transition was hard on the game though, and it seems less optimized now. Before we get into that, let's first list some pros and cons of the new update:
Pros:
The new cards - Hands down the best part of the update, just like any other update.
• Galvatron opens up the possibilities for the addition of other Unicron minions such as Scourge and Cyclonus. He operates interestingly, approaching a structure while firing at any units in his path, transforming into a Fusion Beam Turret cannon that chips away a structure's health. I wish the beam of Galvatron's cannon mode built up damage over time just like the Fusion Beam Turret and damaged any units in its trajectory as well.
• Blackarachnia seems more practical on paper than in game, stunning 3 units at once but not doing much else. However, it is her appearance that is more interesting, notably the fact that her design is inspired by Animated Blackarachnia. Does this mean we might get more characters from Transformers: Animated in the future? Does this mean we might get Lugnut from Animated as a proper Mega Knight from Clash Royale (Optimal Optimus does not count), like proposed before? Does this mean we might see Blitzwing with three modes (and personalities), or Bulkhead added to this game? The possibilities are endless. But for Blackarachnia, I would consider lowering her Energon cost to 3 from 4.
• Jetfire is an interesting concept and was my most hyped card to see added to this game, but unfortunately, he does not do much. He's pretty squishy, doesn't deal any damage (no rocket or laser attacks), and deploys squishy Autobot Elite Infantry that I fail to see how elite it is compared to regular Auobot Infantry. I would have loved to see some kind of Stun attack added to the electrical gauntlets the Autobot Elite Infantry units wear, which would immediately make the card better. However, his 5 Energon cost and ability to deploy units from anywhere in the Arena actually makes him a viable card.
• Rhinox is exciting to see added to this game, especially considering how much I love his design in Rise of the Beasts. For 5 Energon, he is basically a better version of Bumblebee, but after all the running and smashing, his regular attack seems slow and underwhelming. I think Rhinox should have a ranged and a melee attack for his Chainguns. After smashing into a structure, instead of shooting at it, Rhinox would drill like Bonecrusher using his Chainguns. Once the structure is destroyed, Rhinox would use his Chainguns to shoot from a range of 4 or 5 at any threats or any other structures in range. Rhinox would again switch to his drilling melee attack if a melee-based enemy unit would run up to him.
The new interface - It is obvious that the new interface is designed with the idea of adding more content in future updates, which is always a win. The current white frame could be customized into an orange or red Autobot version, a purple or black Decepticon version, an Earth/human version (inspired by the Terran interface from StarCraft), or a green Quintesson version, and so on. The menu is different and yet easy to navigate. More options could be added to the main menu, like more proposed game modes and Battle Log. The new leaderboard system only took a minute to adjust to. The only negative is the 3 crate slots, but that is coming up, believe it. No other complaints in this department.
All other new content - It's also nice to see the additions of a new Earth City arena, a new banger Music track (is the title 5KYL1N3 supposed to be a reference to Sky Lynx?), new Emotes, etc. The new Shanix currency is interesting. The graphics options in the Settings seem to be working properly now (hint: Turn your fps from 30 to 60, it will make the gameplay much smoother). There’s not much else to say, new content is always good.
Cons:
I understand crate hoarding was bound to be nerfed, but to only 3 crate slots? That is simply not enough. And players have to unlock each crate individually, with a Common one taking 3 HOURS to open, and a Mega one taking 15 HOURS to open? Most players probably do what I do and play until they win 5 games a day, at which point they stop for the day. AT LEAST increase the total number of crate slots from 3 to 5 and make it an option to start opening ALL crates at once, with their respective timers, instead of one at a time. The way crates are implemented right now is hurting both new players and returning players who have not maxed out before the transition by setting boundaries that weren’t there before, and that is not good for the game. Add more crate slots and implement simultaneous crate opening or bring crate hoarding back.
No balance changes - Not a single card was reworked in this update, and I don't know how to feel about that. On one hand, I'm glad my deck will remain the same with no necessary modifications. On the other, the stale Chaser meta remains for us to continue suffering through.
Connection issues: I NEVER had this game crash on me before, but just today, after playing for 30 minutes, the game crashed 3 times, all 3 resulting in defeats, tanking my ranking.
Optimization issues: This game is harder on my battery now. I play on low graphics settings with 30 fps. Before the transition, one game would cost 1% of battery life. Playing three games took me down from fully charged at 100% down to 93%. That doesn’t seem like a lot, but the game wasn’t like this, which made it playable for hours. Now it overheats the phone, which leads to lagging and crashes. There are also weird visual bugs that happen whenever a unit is deployed. A Chaser plays an explosion animation but doesn't actually explode when deployed, Autobot Infantry explode like they die but don't actually die when deployed, Wheeljack's Graviton Grenade floats above his head when first deployed, weird bugs like that which didn't exist before the update.
Sudden lack of indicators: Drop Squad and Neutron Bomb now have no indicators of where they are going to drop. This is a big deal especially for Drop Squad, because if you have your volume off, you will not see a Drop Squad approaching until they are on top of your turret, beating the scrap out of it. Return the indicators.
Also, it seems like there were a bunch of "ghost" nerfs and buffs to cards that weren't announced in the Patch Notes. For example, Prowl's rockets sometimes do not deal knockback damage (happened to me twice after the update), Drop Squad does not have an indicator of where the Autobot Infantry units will land now, which causes major confusion and does not allow for immediate countering, and Chasers appear to deal more knockback now (for example, the Sharkticons scatter more on hit now). There may be more I have not encountered yet. I don't know if these are just glitches or not, but the Drop Squad is now OP because of the lack of indicators. I remember this was an issue in the first version of the game, and wonder if Red Games Co. made the same mistake two years later when re-releasing the game.
There is also a misspelling in the Shop in the ORE-13 section. The titles go “Mountain of ORE-13”, “Mouthful of ORE-13”, and “Mountain of ORE-13”, but they don’t match their respective pictures, the first one showing a mouthful, the second showing a truckload, and the third showing a mountain. That’s an issue that is easy to fix.
There are other issues I have not encountered but am sure others have. My biggest complaint is how long it took to deliver this update. It has been 5 months since the January update when Prowl and the Battlechargers were added. 5 months later, and the Battlechargers still cost 5 Energon and have their massive alt modes. With time leaps like this, it’s almost impossible to actually fix this game and implement any changes to fix broken cards and make older cards useful again. Not every update needs a ton of new content to be added, sometimes we just need a balance patch to literally “patch” some things up. People have been complaining about the Chasers for almost a year now, why haven’t they been nerfed yet? Why is Blurr still 4 Energon? Why is Airazor still useless? It’s subtle things like this that ruin the game more than game-breaking glitches do. I told u/picopede a long time ago that the best way to update this game would be to publish small, frequent updates that would always spice things up. New cards would continue to be added, but it feels like with every new content update, the game itself is getting worse. Focus on fixing the game before adding anything new and do it quickly before the game dies.
In the end, what I'm getting out of all of this is that the transition from Apple Arcade to regular App Store was hard on the game and the community. It was definitely worth it, but, as expected, there is a lot of adapting that needs to happen on the players’ side and a lot of work/fixing that needs to happen on Red’s part. There are major game-breaking issues present in the game right now that prevent me from recommending it to anyone, and the new monetization strategy is insulting. Please consider implementing the changes proposed in this post, especially when it comes to crates and progression.

I’ve been to about 12 different Tim Horton’s locations around Surrey and South Surrey and have not been able to find a single store that carries Cherry Sticks. I’ve been fiending for one for over a decade now. I’ve tried contacting Tim’s via Twitter and they give a canned response about Cherry Sticks being available at select locations. To make matters worse almost every location in Surrey has them listed as an option for online ordering too despite not having them in store.
Does anyone know where they might be?

However it seems to choose the cantrip for me, which in my shadow gnome's case is "annoying bee" she has chill touch and shadow dagger, I would rather use those. How do I change which cantrip it selects?

On the Apple TV Bell Fibe TV app, is anyone else having issues accessing the sidebar menu? When the app launches I get to the Home Screen and can scroll down, but clicking to the far left has no effect: I can’t get to the side menu to choose the guide or on demand or watch list, etc.. The only way to get out of the app is to long press the back button until the app closes, unlike others that exit after a quick press if there are no more options in the app.

one of our contacts can‘t tell who messages are coming from…me or my wife.
is iMessage tied to the Apple ID?
if my wife gets her own Apple ID, will she need to tell all her contacts, or will they still be able to reach her per the “send and receive” options she has selected in the iMessage menu?

Sooner rather than later, to Mannad's almost inaudible relief, they had made it through the maze of tunnels and reached a hole to the surface. All she needed to do was climb yet again, except instead of a ladder it was a pile of rubble. Far easier in a way, at least this time she wouldn't have to exert herself going straight up. The incline and abundance of handholds was far more forgiving to her than she would have thought, not needing to climb far either as she merely needed to cover the single height of the tunnel before she was standing in the exposed chill of the open air.
Wind and dust blew gently around her whilst she stood and revelled in the exposure.
"Guess you haven't seen the sky in a while" said Shand as they walked up beside Alice.
"Even before I was frozen, my life was labs and orbital stations" she replied. "I’ve seen plenty of skies. Just rarely from the ground."
"I can’t imagine growing up without a sky. But we don’t have green anymore. Not like this planet. In our capital the only nature remaining are isolated to the parks. Instead, skyscrapers go as far as the eye can see with the occasional spacescraper reaching up like giant fingers of the Empress grasping the void. Hell, from my living hab alone you can see the dawn sun rise above the peaks of the spires, the way the light strikes and reflects off the glass…" Shand trailed off.
They stood there in silence, each lost in their respective memories.
Alice broke the shared silence between them “I tried asking earlier but you were cut off. So tell me, please, just how long was I asleep for?”
Shand seemed to shift awkwardly, as if she had been dreading the question. “I'm sorry, I don’t know for sure. Hundreds of orbits at least. Maybe a thousand. There’s something else as well”
Alice looked at her, wondering what more there could possibly be.
Shand continued “Since you woke up you seemed to have been under the impression we’re fellow survivors of… whatever happened. I’m sorry but we’re not. We’re not even from here”
Alice grabbed Shand by the arm in an attempt to get them to look at her “What do you mean you’re not from here?”
“My race are the Leasha. We came to colonise and strip mine the system before detecting your bunker’s faint signal. We barely picked it up, the only reason being we’re far removed from Sovereignty space” Shand informed her.
“Surely you must have picked up something else besides me when you approached? Anything at all” Alice begged.
“When we arrived in orbit we did very thorough scans. Beyond basic plants and lower food chain lifeforms… I’m afraid we didn’t find any signs of civilisation.” the Leasha officer revealed.
Alice let go of the arm she’d been holding like a vice. She turned to get away from the person before
her who wasn’t even human. They had looked human, but she should have known better. Surface appearances in a galaxy with multitudes of races inevitably overlapped.
Shand attempted to comfort her as she stepped back. “Don’t leave this place without a memory, this could be the last time you see the sky of your home”
"It doesn’t matter anymore anyway." Alice said curtly as she wandered away to find a secluded spot, not waiting for an answer or permission. “What good is the sky when everyone’s too dead to see it anymore”
She rushed away with long strides, around the corner of a rockslide that had formed a wall encircling where they had exited the bunker, almost like a guard keeping it safe.
Checking over her shoulder that none of the aliens had followed her, she reached out with her right hand and a holographic menu appeared before her, projected from the chest plate of her suit. She tapped an icon in the upper left and the seal around her helmet popped, releasing a small amount of pressure with a slight hiss. Dismissing the blue light with another wave of her hand, she reached up and lifted her helmet off her head, revelling at the feeling of fresh air on her unnaturally pale face. Her short coal black hair fluttered slightly with the breeze and dust blowing around her.
Alice closed her eyes and basked in the faint rays of the setting sun that had nurtured the Earth for so long. The warmth running across her body like the caress of all those she was leaving behind bidding her farewell.
She opened her red eyes again and looked at what had become of her world. The sight was almost too much to bear and tears threatened to well up.
The once grand city nestled below the mountain range was no longer even a ruin like she had thought she had seen on the camera. For a moment she could picture in her mind's eye how it was in its prime, with the packed walkways between spacescrapers that reached like the fingers of giants towards the edges of the atmosphere. Skies full of the majestic ships flitting about like worker bees tending to their queens. But as much as she could imagine, it was undeniable it was gone forever and the image faded.
Mangled wreckage rusting away to nothing marked the mass grave in front of her. Encroaching vines marred the souls staring back at her. Sightless eyes staring at her from between the shadows. All who had perished in the final moments, helpless before the inevitable fire that had consumed them.
She wished she could have stayed there forever, letting her bones form with the earth. What was one more corpse amongst the untold billions. She wished it hadn’t even happened. That the fathers and mothers and children before her had never suffered the fate that had been inevitable by the end. Mercilessly butchered by those who had sworn to protect them. The anger suffusing her being from earlier threatened to bubble back up again. A scream begged to be bellowed from the depths of her chest to the silent sky, one last howl to ward off the night. Balling her fists, she struggled to contain her primal rage. Instead, she swore a promise to the innumerable souls watching her. Begging her for vengeance so they could finally rest. An innumerable mass listening from beyond the veil for the promise they demanded.
I’ll make them pay. All of them
But just hurting them wasn’t enough. Not to satiate the shades before her.
I’ll make them hurt until the last of them begs for the mercy they never showed us. And then I’ll wipe them out from the face of existence.
Her helmet slammed back on her head, automatically sealing with a small hiss. Deep and long breaths helped to find her composure she needed to maintain in front of the strangers. Earth held nothing for her now. It was a memorial of the past and better left to the guardianship of the dead and damned. She'd miss the sun but at least now she wouldn't be trapped underground or alone.
She moved back towards the awaiting shuttle. The others had extricated themselves from the hole and were milling about while Yurisa appeared to be talking on her radio again with how her head was cocked. Shand was waiting nearby for her to return and walked with her to the strange shuttle. The lines put her in mind of a ray with two too many fins meeting at the tip. As she walked she could almost feel the heat from the burning questions Shand must have been desperate to ask but still managed to hold back.
"Take any seat you like that's free" said Yurisa as she walked past.
The rear of the shuttle was open and the rest of the squad had already boarded the troop compartment inside. Ten seats lined either side of the walls, two being taken up each side around the middle of the sections. Iftan and Mannad were on the right with Doane and Hedi on the left.
Alice was unsure where she should sit, nervous at sitting with beings she didn't know or how they would behave. Most of all she didn't want any pestering questions on the flight out of atmosphere. So she took a seat on the left just on the inside of the doorway, the furthest she could get from anybody else in the cramped vessel. Shand came on behind her and sat next to Doane with the commander taking up the rear and ending up opposite Shand, next to Mannad.
A voice came over a hidden speaker as the boarding ramp began to rise with dull motorised hums.
"Ladies and gentlemen, especially the ladies, we have a short flight back to home base with a slight chance of buffeting, please keep your seatbelts on and any in flight entertainment will be provided to you by our lovely steward"
"Can it Seash!" yelled Iftan.
If the pilot heard him or not over the whine of the engines spooling up Alice didn't know. Instead she turned and looked out of the long window which lined the wall behind her.
The ground gave away without a jolt as they took off into the sky, slowly building up speed as they climbed. The cityscape fell beneath them to slowly be replaced by a horizon of gold and green. She was happy to see green, at least her planet wasn't completely dead and maybe she could return one day.
The golden hues of the sunset sky slowly gave way to pale blues which thinned to the pitch black of space. She couldn't see their destination even if she craned her neck, the shuttle was approaching in a manner where the ship was hidden from view.
Instead, Alice watched the Earth slowly rotating below, the night side as dark as the space surrounding it. It was odd to see none of the city lights she had known so well when growing up in one of the orbital stations as a child. She remembered how she would watch the small glittering patterns like fireflies frozen in the dark. She could even name all the cities just from the patterns alone. But now there were no fireflies, no cities, no lights. The only glittering came from the stars in the void.
Her home was replaced by a large mass of purple metal of an outer hull as the shuttle must have been approaching a docking hanger. Certain enough, the purple hull was replaced just as quickly as it had appeared with dull grey utilitarian metal. As the shuttle turned she could see mighty doors beginning to close behind them, like a giant maw sealing them inside the belly of the beast. The tiny ship settled in position inside the wide empty space and engines whined back down. The boarding ramp opened again as the soldiers began to collect their equipment and disembark onto the far larger vessel.
Alice remained in position, remembering what the commander had said about quarantine. Shand disembarked with a small wave before Commander Yurisa motioned for Alice to follow her.
Disembarking behind the stern woman, Alice spotted two purple beings in long light blue fully sealed uniforms with clear plastic breathing masks affixed to their faces waiting for them.
The similarity to how human they appeared should have startled her, they even appeared to have been anticipating it with tensed stances. After the revelation given to her from Shand, she had been fully prepared for creatures ranging from the completely bizarre to those not so dissimilar to herself, like the wider galactic community she had seen in the education vids growing up. These people comfortably fell into the latter. Two eyes, two ears, mouth, nose and even hair.
If it weren’t for how they were bright purple she would have thought they were human. As she stared the more she noticed. As similar as they were, they were still distinctly alien. Their facial features were slightly too sharp, the eyes a fraction too large and the same colour as their skin, the mouths smiling wider than a human could. The effect was disconcerting, like they didn’t mean the expressions they were pulling. And their ears were pointed. Almost like elves of fantasy crossed with bats. A thin waxy sheen formed a layer on top of it all, like a second skin. As she studied the features of these people, she noticed how the sheen was attached to the masks they wore. Which meant that it wasn’t part of their anatomy after all, but rather a way to form a physical barrier not unlike a hazmat suit.
“These are the medical staff who will be performing the scan, please follow them to the quarantine room” said Yurisa.
The kindly smiling aliens waited patiently for Alice to overcome her initial shock at the sight of what her rescuers actually looked like beneath all the heavy armour. She looked at Yurisa. The commander must look similar to them beneath that helmet she realised. Shand too. And the others.
Perhaps it was the way they had seemed so unguarded around her and the full body coverings creating an illusion within her mind, but it only now hit her that her rescuers were truly alien.
Seeing that she still wasn’t moving, one of the kindly aliens took her gently by the arm and began directing her towards a door opposite the exit ramp of the shuttle. Her steps fumbled across the unfamiliar metal floor of the hanger.
As she was led off, Alice turned her head back in time to see the commander remove her helmet, revealing her own light purple skin. A small smile was also on her face, although not as large as the ones the medical personnel sported. Yurisa’s piercing and equally purple eyes gazed back at her, somehow looking into her own, past the glass faceplate.
A slight chime and smooth whoosh of the door admitted Alice into the quarantine room. The alien let go of her arm, allowing her to step inside. Another chime and whoosh of the door closing and the Commander’s gaze was cut off, replaced by a plate of glossy glass and metal. Looking at her new surroundings Alice saw the room was made from the same dull grey metal of the hanger. Perhaps the entire ship followed this pattern. It would be exciting to find out, not to mention meet the rest of the crew. A cushioned bench jutted from the wall to her right which Alice sat down on. There was nothing to do but wait for the scans and think.
Thoughts she had forced to the side in the moment began to catch up with her now she had time to pause. The first moment of peace after the completely overwhelming past few hours. Alice bent over, hiding her head in her arms from any cameras that would definitely be watching her. Rage and sadness battled for domination in her mind. Which would come out the victor only time would tell.

Today, I bought a Late 2009 iMac from Facebook Marketplace. The machine came pre-installed with El Capitan, but the account had a password. I asked the seller for the password, but he never responded. My parents also made me format its hard drive, to protect the seller's information and whatnot. So, currently it's without an operating system, and it's stuck at the OS X Utilities screen. I tried the "Reinstall OS X" but I can't -- I don't have the Apple ID. I've also tried loading a USB drive with DMGs of El Capitan and High Sierra, but I can't boot from them. I've tried opening the installer from Disk Utility, but that wouldn't work either. I went up to the menu bar to "quick peek" or whatever, hit "Open", and nothing happened. What am I doing wrong here?
Also, I don't have another Mac. Anything that requires another working Mac won't work, as my only other computer runs Windows 11.

The three companies that quoted me are basically 2-4 men crews.
The systems to be installed are ducted GREE FLEXX heat pumps, 2 ton and 4 ton with Air Handlers. Replacing old Carrier R22 based systems.

Are these fair quotes? I called all the big companies around me and they don’t install these systems. I had to go to the GREE website. Found the list of certified contractors in my area and got a quote from 3 companies.

2023.06.02 00:06 EverydayQuestions- How to factory reset/reinstall macOS on iMac G3 and eMac (Mac OS X Panther)

Years ago I acquired these two devices (Apple eMac A1002 and Apple iMac G3 M5521) for next-to-nothing at an estate sale and am looking to finally offload them on eBay.
Both are running Mac OS X 10.3.9. Both seem to have broken CD drives (one has a CD stuck inside which it reads but is unable to eject, the other does not seem to read/work at all).
On either PC, I have been unable to boot into any sort of recovery mode, disk utility, or boot manager. I have tried ‘C’, ‘D’, ‘cmd’, ‘cmd’ + ‘R’ and any other possible combination I could find, each many times in many different ways (pressing the keys at different times during startup, holding the key(s) and/or continuously mashing them, etc.) to no avail. I have been able to boot into single-user mode which allowed me to create new admin users as I didn’t have the passwords for the computer’s original accounts.
I have found numerous versions of Mac OS X Panther & Tiger, primarily on archive.org (and all supposedly compatible with PowerPC) which I have tried to boot into as .iso and .dmg from a flash drive and from burned CDs (running on an external CD drive).
Every time, I am able to view/access/run the Install Mac OS X programs while the computer is logged in. I can run them, click to install Mac OS X, and click the restart button when prompted by the installation process. But both computers only reboot back into Mac OS as the default users without running any installation. And as mentioned above, I have been unable to reach any boot menu that would allow me to erase the HDD or boot from USB/CD.
Any help would be immensely appreciated!!
