Howdy fellas, I'm on mobile and am quite stupid, so sorry if I'm about to post one big block of unformatted text. I have a full-time job that I don't hate too much, and I love most of my coworkers. We're like a big weird family, except for one. Basically, we recently hung up a big pride flag on our storefront window, and we serve a lot of old people so we get a concerningly large amount of homophobes and complaints about the flag. Today, someone came in and started spewing talk about how "the transgender colours on the flag are just propaganda used by pdophiles" followed by several more people coming in later in the day to say they are no longer going to come to our store because we support gay people. This one lady at my job never says anything against it, and borderline supports it (told the customer she'll have a talk with our boss about the flag). Another coworker told her that these customers are being ridiculous, and she replied saying that people are entitled to their own opinion. Now, I have had many scuffles with this lady. She misgenders me intentionally, apologizes to me, and then keeps doing it. She fully knows I am trans, and then supports these homophobic customers right in front of me. I tried to ignore it all this time, but her supporting the idea implying that I am a pdophile made me pretty upset enough to want her gone. Our boss has already gotten a lot of complaints about her (for many more reasons besides being openly transphobic towards me), but our boss and head manager aren't quite the greatest people ever. They've ignored reports about employees being creeps to girls and minors on our staff, have been threatened to be sued for racism, etc. or as so I've heard. They've ignored all complaints about this lady I work with, and they would 100% throw my report under the rug because they'd most likely rather fire me than her because she's worked with them since they opened (I joined the team way later). They know they'd be fucked if they lose their most devoted employee from their already severely understaffed roster.
Who the hell do I report this to who would actually listen to me? The gay police?! I've never been the type to be bothered by something like this, but I feel like letting customers just straight up call me a p*do feels like an insult and a big fuck you to my face. I don't know how to go about this. I don't want to quit because I love all of my other coworkers and they are very supportive of me, but I feel like it's reaching the point where quitting is my only option left.

I looked back at the approaching fleet. Finally, the battle was going to start. I turned to my crew and began taking command of the battle.
"Start defensive manoeuvres! We will move according to the plan! We will end this war today!"
My crew cheered loudly, they were going to take part in the last battle of one of the most important wars in galactic history.
According to the plan, our ships turned around and began flying towards Haura, one of two moons orbiting Ghlynos. While we moved, we started shooting at the enemy with lasers, to weaken their shields before the main part of the battle began. The coalition fleet used their long-range weapons to try to defeat us quickly and efficiently, therefore we routed most of our power towards our engines and shields in an attempt to guarantee that we suffer very few casualties.
To tail us, they launched hundreds of fighters that flew towards us at a much faster speed when compared to their mother ship, and soon they would reach us. We fired missiles and torpedoes at them, and while we hit many of them, it wasn't enough, so the fighters soon reached us and began attacking our vulnerable points, with our engines being their main target.
In a normal battle, this would be the moment where a general like me ought to call for a hasty retreat, due to the enemy seemingly vastly outnumbering us, but no one in my crew including me dared to say a word that hinted at retreat. All he had to do was stall for a little more time.
Soon, the fighters crippled many of our gun batteries and cannons. We kept firing missiles at them, which dwindled their numbers quite a bit, but it wouldn't be sufficient. Thankfully our engined still held strong. It was at this moment that I first received a report concerning casualties: during the attack on the gun batteries of the TS Kklaros, an explosion caused by the enemy ruptured the hull of a large corridor, sending fifteen tevrans to their death in the void. Hopefully, I wouldn't be hearing many of these.
When the coalition fleet entered the orbit of the mithraidian capital, I knew it was time. Numerous transport ships separated from the main fleet in order to start a ground battle on the planet in order to liberate it.
I looked at Julius Caesar and stared at his face. He did not move and showed no emotion; he was completely concentrated on the battle. I could not even begin to comprehend what might be going on inside his mind, the torrent of thoughts, calculations, strategies and plans that might be occurring in a fraction of a second scared me, as it reminded me of our old enemies. Before showing my slight fright, I composed myself and waited.
At this moment, before any transport ship could enter the atmosphere of Ghlynos, 50 imperial ships exited warp right behind the coalition fleet's formation and immediately started shooting at the many ships that tried to enter the planet. Even from here, I was able to tell that the enemy entered a state of panic, as many fighters started to fly back to their respective carriers, and the enemy ships started to turn away from us. Using their confusion to our advantage, we began to turn around to fight them, routing most of the power in our engines towards our weapons.
Now, from behind the hidden, dark side of the two moons near us, two imperial fleets with about 30 ships each exited their hiding spot and entered the battle, immediately firing their biggest guns at the enemy and sending hundreds of their drones towards the coalition fleet and towards the fighters that were still bothering us.
Soon, the enemy fleet was encircled, and with the imperial ships flying both above and below the enemy positions, there was nowhere they could flee. Now, the void once again turned into a light show.
All around me, I could see a large number of fighters struggling to fight the imperial drones, and in no time there were no enemy pests flying around our tevran ships. Looking towards the enemy fleet, I could see some trying to escape, I could see shields quickly disintegrating as they received damage from all directions. I looked towards the planet and saw the debris of the many transport ships that tried to fly into the atmosphere, all of them failing to do so.
As the shields protecting the enemy began to falter, many of their ships fell victim to hacking, meaning that we now had access to all their non-manned weapons, which were promptly used to cause a lot of "friendly fire", as the humans call it.
Even though I had seen footage of previous battles, seeing how one-sided this was had me baffled. Our help was somewhat unnecessary, as I am sure the imperials could have done this by themselves, just with a bit more difficulty.
As stipulated by the plan, this one-sided "massacre" was not focused on the destruction of the enemy ships, but on incapacitating them. Their engines were disabled, and their weapons were destroyed or were devoid of ammunition. Immobile and defenceless, it was my time to act.
Using the computer, I hailed every single one of their ships to offer surrender, and with their computers completely taken over, they had no choice but to pick up my call. With Julius Caesar by my side, I started the negotiations.
"Coalition fleet, this is General Sabra N'krina Manyrako of the Tevra Technocracy, by my side is Julius Caesar Aurelianus, Imperial Representative of the Region of France in the Eternal Empire. Your ships are disabled and you have lost every chance of escaping from this place."
I looked at the many commanding officers of their fleet, and despite being from different species, I could still make out many faces of anger, faces of despair, and faces of resignation.
"Today, we offer you the chance to end this war and make peace with the Imperial Commonwealth." Some scoffed at the mention of the 'Imperial Commonwealth', while others were paying full attention. "Surrender, and the battle ends. There is no need to die here in a battle that is already lost."
"Traitor! We will never surrender to you!" An Oni'tenakro commander replied to the shock of his crew, who clearly disagreed with him.
"There is no need for further discussion, the GSS Ha'naura surrenders!" Another commander spoke.
"What!?"
"The GSS Enyva sanauma surrenders. Please have mercy on my crew..." A dejected commander spoke.
One after another, the ships of the coalition began to surrender to us, realising that there was nothing they could do, and unwilling to die for a lost cause. Either due to a sudden realisation, or simple social pressure, even the most antagonistic commanders decided to surrender themselves.
"Thank you for your cooperation." Julius Caesar spoke. "Now, prepare to be boarded. You will be brought in as prisoners of war. You will be given comfortable accommodations and will be treated well, so please do not try to needlessly resist, otherwise you will only make things worse for yourselves."
At this moment, the imperial ships launched many drones that stuck themselves in the enemy ships, and a light grey rhombus-shaped ship exited warp near us. This ship, as I had been informed, was a prison ship.
Now, after many months, this war was over.

This actually happened this past Saturday.
Like lots of friends groups mine has a WhatsApp group chat where we talk about upcoming events, parties and get togethers. We also joke around a bunch and my friends can be some crude people and some jokes can be kind of NSFW. We are all adults with the youngest of us being around 23 (youngest sister of one of the older friends who was just recently added to the group) and the oldest being closer to my age late 30's. There are several couples, family members of those couples and even a few exes all in the same chat group.
One of the ongoing jokes we have is joking about sending each other nudes. It started amongst us guys at first one night out drinking when one of the guys who was single at the time was complaining that no girls had ever sent him nudes. So like all asshole guy friends we all started joking about how if he wanted we would send him our nudes to make him feel better. At some point it spilled over into the group chat after some of the GF's got mad thinking that it was serious and we had to explain. Once it was cleared up it stuck around as a joke that everyone knows about and the thing now is to try and work it into a conversation where it makes no sense. It gets pretty creative at times but is all in good fun.
Well the fuck up came in this past Saturday when some of use were talking about planning a trip to a amusement park (won't say which one as I don't want to give myself away since some friends of mine are on Reddit but they don't know my account name) and everyone was talking about which coasters they were excited to go on. I made a joke about how it would be awkward if the cameras on the rides got pics of me nude on the roller coaster and how I would be sure to send a copy to my friend. Some others made jokes about how I would end up in jail or at least get kicked out of the park for it which of course I would but I don't even know how it would be possible for me to flash when I am a dude unless it was a stand up roller coaster. The jokes and comments just continued from there.
Saturday night I am sitting on my laptop watching a video on YouTube and I get a text message from one of my friends sister (the young one who just joined the group a few weeks back) who I had known forever. I clicked immediately since I thought something might be wrong and instead of a text it was a pic of her flashing her tits on a roller coaster! So me being almost 40 gets nudes from my 23 year old friends sister. I didn't want to be rude but I texted her back asking her why she would send me pics like that and if she was trying to get me in trouble with her sister (my friend). She said that she was just proving it was possible and she didn't get kicked out for doing it.
I had to laugh a little, explain that the nudes thing was a joke and that she probably shouldn't be sending me nudes and that if her sister found out she would kill me and think I was making a move on her little sister. We agreed to never tell her sister and no one else in the friends group would know.
So now I have to worry about her ever telling her sister and I think she might have a thing for me because when I thought about it I remember her being awful flirtatious and handsy with me whenever we hang out in a group.
TLDR: Friends have a Whatsapp group, made a joke about sending nudes and my friends younger sister sent me topless pics of her and now I worry she is interested or she might tell her sister about it.
Also the ages are not 100% accurate but everyone involved is over 18 and adults.

I had a solid clinic with my ex wife. The year before our divorce, our revenue was almost half a million.
I ran the backend, she saw patients and made sure the other therapists were HIPAA compliant.
She tanked the business, I agreed to let her buy me out, and I’d like to rebuild a new clinic with a head therapist.
The problem is there aren’t any SLPs I know that have enough experience to be a head therapist AND that I trust to stick around to make the business model work. I don’t want to be left high and dry looking for another head therapist.
Short of going back to school to become an SLP myself, I’m not sure how to find a therapist to rebuild with. I put out calls on job sites and got a lot of young therapists that just don’t have the experience to oversee client care and HIPAA compliance on a level I’m comfortable with.

I'm 30 and I just feel so lost. I don't know what to do with my life. I would really appreciate some advice.
So I have a BA in Psychology. Afterwards, I took 2 years off to get more research experience before going into an MA/PhD program for Social Psychology. I dropped out after 2 years because I really hated it and my adviser was not a good fit. But it has been hard, as Psychology was what I wanted to do since I was 12. So I just feel really lost.
Ever since then, I've been working in customer service. Last year I was diagnosed with ADHD which at least made me understand why I had struggled with so many things in my life, from getting to places on time to organizing things. I can, however, focus for long periods of time if something is interesting or if it's a repetitive job that I can do while listening to music. I was also told by my psychiatrist to see if I can get tested for autism but I have been unable to find someone in my area that tests adults. In October, I was fired because I kept being 5-10 minutes late (and yes, I disclosed my ADHD diagnosis when I got it, thinking it would make it easier-- it did not).
All these things made me realize that I need to find a new career and a job that I can do remotely- where it would be much harder to be late than to go in person and where I can manage my environment (my old job did not allow people to have noise canceling headphones in, I need the noise canceling headphones to focus).I enjoy filling out paperwork, and repetitive tasks, and I did not hate programming when I had to learn some when I was in grad school. I hate large meetings where nothing discussed is relevant to my job and I hate being interrupted with small talk when I am working (another reason why working remotely is something that I want to pursue). I would prefer a job where I would just have to work to complete short tasks.
My mom is suggesting that I go into HR- get a certificate and try to find a job in HR. There are a lot of things that are appealing to me about it-- that it can include paperwork, 1-1 meetings, and that it is somewhat related to my BA. But I don't know what kind of certificate to get (there are a lot of types out there), or if I can succeed.
I have also been considering cybersecurity mostly because there is a free apprenticeship through a local community college but I don't know if cybersecurity is a good choice. I also don't know if I would be good at it. In any case, classes don't start until August.
Do you have any advice? Are there any other careers I should consider? What certificate would be best for HR? How can I know if I would be good at Cybersecurity? I am afraid of making the wrong choice like I did with Psychology. I'm old. I need to settle down and have a career. I feel so lost.Anyone with ADHD, any suggestions for careers I should look into?

Hey guys, I'm just curious if anyone has had similar issues while on probation, and if so then how did they solve them?
I am currently on probation and am required to do random UAs about 2-4 times a month. I went to meet up with my probation officer about a month ago and she mentioned that my last three UAs came back as diluted. She didn't seem too mad or anything, just told me to go earlier in the morning and watch my water intake and let me off with a warning. Anyways, I got called in for a UA today and made sure not to drink too much( had one cup of coffee and about 16oz of water in the hours leading up to the UA). Unfortunately, my pee still looked very pale yellow and I'm worried it will come back as diluted.
I should mention that I'm on 100mg of spironolactone (a prescription diuretic) which I'm thinking is the cause? I also just tend to sip on a lot of water throughout the day unconsciously, but certainly not enough to cause a diluted UA (or so I thought).
Do you think during my next PO meeting, my spironolactone prescription is enough to convince my PO I'm not intentionally diluting my urine? Should I offer a blood draw or hair sample if it is brought up? I'm 100% clean from all drugs and alcohol as of Dec 2022, so I'm not worried about a positive result or anything like that. But to stop taking my spironolactone is not an option, and I'm getting really nervous about my multiple diluted UAs.

When your heart, your mind, and your emotions all tell you to turn away from God, how do you keep fighting?
I do not want to give up on God because I know he is real and I have witnessed countless of his good works. Yet I still go through long periods of feeling completely depressed, having lack of motivation, feelings of nothingness, confusion about everything around me (sometimes feeling like everyone and everything is against me, sometimes completely altering my whole sense of morals, sometimes having contradictory epiphanies, etc.), brutal insecurity, feeling on-edge, and overall just wanting to run. Just as often, I can go through long periods of complete devotion to God where absolutely nothing else matters.
I started therapy nearly 3 weeks ago and I am hoping that God will somehow lead me to a place of stability with Him. More than anything, I want to be a servant to God and help him progress his kingdom. However, I can't really do that if I keep going through these periods of acting absolutely horrible to people and doing everything against God... and then immediately telling people that God loves them and wants them to turn from their sin. Often during my down-periods, I don't even realize when I'm being rude to people until they negatively react and it feels impossible to shift my tone because I don't even know what I'm doing wrong.
Is there anything that any of you do to keep walking your Christian walk even when your heart, body, and mind tell you not to?

so i don’t know if i’m just being impatient or if backing out is okay :(( i am still a fairly new trading account and it’s my first time encountering this scenario so i’m just kinda confused. someone i’ve been talking with for a pc trade has been extremely dry/slow with replies and they are yet to send proof that they have their pc on hand. i’ve sent my side of proof a while ago and i wouldn’t have gotten any type of response from them if i hadn’t reached out and asked if everything was okay with my pc.
i know people have other things going on, and that isn’t why i feel uneasy, i just wish i’d get at least a “i won’t be able to send my pc proof for a while just a heads up” and i’d be perfectly okay with that. i don’t even need any explanation nor am i expecting that. but im getting a reply every 12 or so hours with the last one saying they’d send the pc proof “in a bit” (they haven’t 🙃). and because i’m a new account they’re gonna ask me to send first (idc about sending first, ik its expected) but i am afraid of doing that if this is how the communication is going to be on their end.

2 years ago my grandad went into hospital suddenly one day out of nowhere and we found out he got bowel cancer. Since then he’s had multiple surgeries and radiotherapy having most of his intestines removed. He came home maybe February 2022 time before 2 months ago developing streps and going hospital before coming home again and being sent to hospital again 2-3 weeks ago for a blood clot. It is suspected that the cancer has grown as they couldn’t remove it as another surgery would potentially kill him.
Since all this has been happening I can feel my mood worsening each day, I’m getting less and less social, he’s constantly on my mind and I can see the effect it is having on my Nan and mum.
Even when he was here he feels like a ghost of what he was before like he’s only half here and I feel bad that I only see him as half a person but I want him back the old him and that’s not happening and I’m not ready for him to go he’s my hero my everything the father figure he taught me how to ride a bike got me into football took me to football helped pay for it all growing up I would be nothing without him he’s Molded me into everything I am now
I also often have thoughts of me having to walk his coffin down on the funeral and idk if that’s normal to do

I can and know how to save money by eating at home and not going out, or not buying a fancy coffee outside, but I get bored easily. I also like to be outside, and unless it's the library or a park, I can't exactly sit at a place or walk around inside without purchasing a drink, meal, or being sold something (shops, etc.). I live in Los Angeles, and in the burbs, and to most places it isn't easy to get to without driving. I go out about once or twice a day by driving or the bus. I also go for a walk with the dog another 3 or 4 times. My girlfriend and I sometimes go out in the evening and just walk around Target nearby and often don't buy much or we don't buy anything. I live in an 1 BR apartment with my girlfriend. We both get bored and stuck if we just stay at home, but that is frequently the easiest, healthiest, and most sustainable way to live. At home, we cook, read, play a board game, etc. But we have to be clever with keeping things varied. I know there are many things I can do at home, and on the internet, but I like being outside frequently, where there are lots of people.
Sorry this is also a partial rant. I think we are getting better at this as we get older. We're 29 and 34. But honestly, I think if I wanted to save money, I could. I just don't want it badly enough sometimes or get bored. Perhaps I need a goal? Perhaps I need a budget?

I am looking for a study or article on how groups of "friends" decide to push a friend to break up with their Fiancé and over dramatize the small issues someone has had with their fiancé? They have absolutely nothing going for them in their lives and I feel they did it because they were a group of people seeing an opportunity to make my fiancé as miserable as them.

When I first started, I was rated 800. For a while I hovered about there, and for a point in time I fell down into the 700s. I have maybe about 1500 games under my belt now with a few openings that I'm decent with for each side. As of today, my elo is at an all-time high of 1220. I have so much left to learn, and so much left to practice as we all do.
I saw that post the other day where someone came in incredibly discouraged and frustrated because they felt like they couldn't beat their friends who didn't study at all. If you enjoy chess, and you want to actively get better, that's all you have to do: keep playing to get better, and please don't stop having fun. If I can get better at the game, I know you can, too.
Some things that really worked well for me:

1. Study openings. That's the first thing players who understand the basics of the game should do. If you don't know what to study for black because you're responding to white, there are some strong universal options that should work in many cases against the most popular white openings. You can also pick two to get decent with, and then stick to one for white until you get bored and want to play with another set. (Though I will say I always open with The Italian or some other variation, and I'm still not bored because there are so many ways a game can go when you're in lower elo.)
2. Puzzles! Puzzles have elevated my game like crazy. Seriously. And you only need 15 minutes a day doing them. Once you find that you're just getting repeatedly stumped, it means your brain is fatigued and you can't hold anymore new patterns. The whole objective behind puzzles is to intuit patterns. There are so many re-occurring patterns in chess, and once you can recognize them off the bat, they will seriously elevate your gameplay. I cannot tell you how many games I have won because of a single multi-exchange I recognized the pattern of, but could tell my opponent did not. If sacrificing material for an advantage, or even a win, in game is something you've always enjoyed the thought of, puzzles will unequivocally get you there.
3. Don't worry about theory yet. Seriously, the first two points here are so much more important than chess theory that most people below 1100 haven't even googled. I'm just now at the point where theory is coming into play, I can feel the pace of the game has significantly changed because of it. When you're in low elo, you're gonna be playing chess with big irrational moves and low levels of forethought. Theory is time-consuming, and you're going to really take advantage of these big moves with solid foundations you've developed in your openings, and pattern recognition than you will through understanding that "the middle game is supposed to be for grinding out edges against your opponents" (this is reductive, but the point stands).

If there's anything else I'm missing here, I welcome the veterans and stronger players to chime in. But don't get discouraged, seriously. If I can climb, then unequivocally, so can you. There are so many brilliant resources out there to elevate your game. Keep learning. Keep having fun.

so this morning i went to grab breakfast and pick up some groceries. i get breakfast from a bakery which has a private car park it shares with 2 other stores, woolies is not connected but next to it. woolies opens at 7am and i live about 2 minutes away. i didnt check but lets say i arrived at 7:02 as a guesstimate. i came out of woolies, and watched my car being towed already fully rigged up. i could’ve touched my car as he drove off.
now as much as believe this is absolutely predatory behaviour and a scummy move, i fully understand the laws and honestly believed i wasn’t break any of the rules of the car park.
i’ve added a comment with a picture of the sign for reference which shows it’s a 15 minute limit, my question tho is - what constitutes a customer in terms of customer parking only? obviously i could be lying about going to the bakery but how can they make that determination before 15 minutes?
not saying it legal or illegal but i do definitely things it’s scummy but what are your thoughts?

tw all my life, since childhood, i've given myself up to my vices, whether it be sh, or my bulimia. it was like a warm comfortable hug, the only thing that i'd have to fall back to, and it was always there.
before my father passed away, he was my therapist. i could go to him with anything, and just let it out. i didn't get better, but i felt love and care. it's an irreplaceable feeling. it got ripped away once he died.
certain parts of my family are in shambles, and the bits that are still intact, struggle much more than me. i have two disabled sisters, and one lives far away and has plenty of her own struggles, but is also a very different person than me.. i cant really talk to her about anything.
and then there's my mom. i love her, but she's fighting her own battles right now. any moment i mention mine or hint at it, positive or negative, i know it affects her, and if i relapse, i fear she unintentionally uses that as a green light to fall back onto alcohol. i cant allow myself to burden her, and show her that her own child she gave birth to and raised destroys herself this much. she's still grieving her husbands death, just as i grieve my father.
then there's my bf. i cant continue being transparent anymore to him. he simply pushes his needs aside, and is never honest with me about how he feels. no matter how much i beg and plead for him to accept his emotions and let me be there for him, he doesn't. how am i expected to then have a pity party? not to mention, i'm growing apart from him sometimes, and my emptiness and loneliness don't help. nothing feels real
i burden the ones i love with problems i've caused myself, while they have genuine issues that they would trade away any way they could.
friends are also out of the picture, because i'm always the crutch. i'm the one people go to for advice, to vent, to let it all out, i'm the one who comforts and gives the warm hugs.
so it leaves no one; it's all tucked away in a bag, sealed. i feel empty, and sometimes not real. none of my life has felt real since he's died.
i want to get my own apartment, im 21, and can afford it. i tell myself, perhaps it would help with finding more purpose and joy in life, fending for myself, being able to go into the kitchen and cook a proper healthy meal and not get interrogated by my sisters husband, maybe i could find the will to keep going.
i know my mom isn't ready for me to leave her, because she's wildly uncomfortable living with my sisters husband here with her, my other sister, and the kids. it's an inevitable option right now, but she goes through borderline emotional abuse daily due to his mental illness that he can't help; to put it into perspective, he was abused as a child, horrible childhood and adulthood, entire family abandoned him, and he takes more pills than i can count. he'd be dangerous if he didn't take them. i'm aware of that, and she is too. half the time, he acts like a child, even getting jealous of his own children's good things that come a lot of the time.
i'm rambling. point is, i feel hopeless in my current situation. i also help with bills, so i'd feel the heavy burden of leaving my family, especially my mom and sister, and also not financially helping as much as i could if i didn't live alone.
but my fear is that i'm going to get beyond help. over half my life i've done things that have permanently affected me, and lately, my mental health has gotten depleted to scary levels. i become suicidal much more often than is normal i feel, and i don't like that. i desperately crave and want to feel content in life, maybe even happy someday, but i'm getting nowhere the way i'm living.
if he were here, i'd ask his advice, give him a hug, and feel a massive weight lifted off my shoulders. i feel more alone than before i had a bf, and before i had friends. i feel the worse i've felt my entire life. it's as if my mouth is locked, and i don't have the key, and i know if i did, i wouldn't be able to open it.
sometimes, i'd like to be selfish and request a hug, or request for someone to listen to me, but i can't. the times i have, it's never worth it. i'm the one to give.
why is it, that i'm there for my friends and they always appreciate me being there to listen and give perfect advice, but i can't find that? i always feel incredible guilt, not to mention that no one seems to care enough to even put effort into speaking or responding, besides my mother, who is in enough pain.
my bf had a bad day, and wouldn't tell me about it. therefor, who do i have to talk to about my relapse, and my dissociation that's been making me become more suicidal than ever? when i pray, i always hope that perhaps i'll feel a warm hand on my shoulder, or a swift force of glowing comfort rush through me, but i never feel any of it. i'll continue to, but it doesn't help with my ever growing craving and need to talk to someone and feel genuine warmth and comfort.
i want a hug, i want a nice warm loving hug, i selfishly want what i don't give enough of. i want to feel genuine intense love that irradiates the very definition of love, and everything it stands for. is this only because i lost my father? is it only because i feel deep down inside, my bf isn't the best for me and my situation?
he's always there, and insists he'll never leave, but somehow it doesn't feel good enough. it isn't enough for me. he isn't enough, and i hate myself for admitting it, but his love isn't the love i always crave and seek. in a week, it'll be our 4 year anniversary. i feel nothing regarding it. i've accepted that he's as good as i'll get, due to no one else being able to ever handle me or love me, considering i also don't deserve it, but i'm not happy. he is, he's incredibly happy, and is content. he's comfortable in this situation, and i'm just alone and empty.
but, i'd be so much more alone without him.
i just wish someone would care enough to ask me how i am. i cant remember the last time someone did.

Good morning everyone! I just wanted to come on here to get some advice, tips, or even for you to share your stories or similar situation as mine. To make it short, my baby was living with her father last year due to my mental instability and suicide attempt. We went to court and the judge granted him physical custody. During the time I didn’t have the baby I went on to try and focus on myself and really just trying to get out of the shit storm I put myself in. I began going to therapy, taking antidepressants and anti anxiety meds, began meditating, doing yoga. Her father and I had a very dysfunctional coparenting relationship. It was really hard to keep our interests in the best of our daughter. We were both toxic. It wasn’t until 7 months into therapy that my mindset began changing for the better. I was learning to communicate more effectively, learning to not go back and forth with him, how to come up with solutions rather than pointing fingers. I tried my very best to have the best interest of my daughter at heart. Unfortunately her dad passed away 2 months ago and i immediately told his mom I wanted the baby to come back with me which she denied. At first she would let me see the baby if I went to her house, which I did but only twice after his passing. The second time I went to visit baby girl at her house, she got very emotional and showed me screenshots of arguments between him and I when he was alive, like to point out that they were very old screenshots. Anyway, she began screaming at me and I just sat there and cried and would tell her to calm down, but I think that would infuriate her even more. I ended up leaving and texting her another day that I didn’t feel comfortable going over anymore due to that incident and her threatening to call the cops on me on a different occasion when I asked through text if I could visit my baby. I filed for court and waited for almost two month for a new court order. I was granted full physical and legal custody. I picked my baby back up and she’s been with me since then. The issue now is that she’s suing me for visitation. I know that I want her to be in the baby’s life, but as of right now I just want to bond with my baby and not have to deal with her. Maybe that’s selfish or petty but I just need time or until whatever the courts say. I guess my issue is how do I just get over the uncomfortable feeling and the anxiety when dealing with her. Should I just allow her to come over until our court hearing or should I keep my boundaries firm for now and just focus on being there for my baby. It sucks that my daughter is ultimately the one suffering. This little 2 year old has been through a lot. She had to move homes last year due to my mental health, had to experience her dad and i’s fights, and now lost her dad and moved homes again… I just want to finally give my baby the stability she needs and deserves. Thoughts?

Going to be playing a game or two this Saturday withnsome friends, but uve been on an awful losing streak so I'm looking for some guidance.
I'm semi-tailoring my list but that's only because it's there are only three factions I could potentially be playing, T. Sons Deathguard and Votann.
I'll give you my list and my thoughts as to why I'm bringing these units and if anyone has any insight, recommendations or even tips with these factions please let me know.
HQ
1 Chronomancer w/ VoD
1 Technomancer w/ Canoptek Cloak
Pretty simple with these. I didn't give any Cryptek Arkana because I don't feel as if any will help. Hypermaterial Ablator can just be straight up ignored by T.Sons and Votann, and I plan to have Techno in the back while Chronomancer is surrounded by Warriors at all times so no need for Prismatic Obfuscatron.
Troops and Transports
2x 10 Necron Warriors w/ Gauss Reapers
2x 20 Necron Warriors w/ Reapers&Flayers 10/10
2x Ghost Arks
1 Night Scythe
The Ghost Arks I think can be a great way to block off pathways in general, but can also soak up alot of damage from Mortal Wounds for the warriors both in and outside of them. One big block of warriors will be sheparded by the Chonkmancer while the other may be deepstruck in with the Nightscythe to any place to kill or nab some points. Plus the Night Scythe can help with Malevolent Arching pesky characters.
Elites
2x 10 Deathmarks
This one may be overkill, but I cannot stress enough how much I hate Exalted Sorcerers, Infernal Masters, Kahls and Ironmasters are from my experiences. Potentially a waste of points for Deathguard but I'm Weary about running C'tan agains Deathguard with their Plague casters and ESPECIALLY T.Sons. But I'm confident between Malevolent Arching, Talent for Annihilation and these guys I can throw plenty of Mortals where needed.
Fast Attack
2x Tomb Blades w/ 1 Tesla, Shadowloom and Shieldvanes
I needed some cheap action monkeys or Tesla spammers do I chose to bring these. I'm not expecting them to live long just score some points if possible and throw around Atching to hiding units.
Heavy Support
3x 2 Lokhust Destroyers w/ Heavy Destroyer (Gauss Destructor)
I wanted to run 3 Heavy Destroyers for anti tank but they get out of commission very quick in a 3 man but drop like flies when alone. I figured this is a good way to give them a wound cushion but also some decent medium strength firepower for general purpose.
Fortification
1 Convergance of Dominion
I just think it's neat. But it would also really help with screening my back line from TSons or Deathguard Terminators if need be. Plus with being able to deepstrike them and the extended range from Mephrit they could actually end up poking oretty hard when they actually get to shoot some stuff. Not to mention gaining Behind Enemy Lines if the enemy gives them space.

So I (19F) have been with my boyfriend (20F) for almost two years now. He got a full time job about 6 months ago to help pay for his college (he took 4 community college classes, but he's going to apply for a 4-year university later). We did long distance for a few months before I moved back home from college for the summer, and now we live like a 3 minute drive away from each other.
During the semester, he would barely call or even text me. Days would go by and I wouldn't really hear from him other than the streaks he sent me on Snapchat, but I understood he was busy so even though it was emotionally draining on me, I didn't really push him. He used to tell me that it would get better during the summer when I'm back home and he'll have more time for me because I won't be busy with college and he wouldn't be as busy with his community college classes.
But now it's the summer, and if anything it's worse. I mean, we see each other probably once every 10-14 days to go to the movies or eat at a restaraunt, but he calls me even less than he used to. If i leave him a missed call, he doesn't even bother calling back or texting me that he's busy. During the first year of our relationship, we used to talk every single night; now, I'm lucky if I hear from him even once the whole week.
He says he loves me, and when we meet up in person it's really obvious that he cares. He's a physical touch kind of guy so whenever I'm with him in person he's always holding my hand and stuff. He always compliments me, and recently he's been giving me flowers and chocolate every couple of weeks. But this only started two weeks ago. Sometimes (and I could be overthinking this) I wonder if he's just buying me this to get out of not communicating with me.
Before people say that I should talk to him- I already have. Multiple times. I've told him how, even if he can't call me that often, I would appreciate basic communication. Like if he has a busy week, then he could just text me that and I wouldn't bother him. Or if I leave him a missed call and he can't get back to me, then he could text me and I would respect his space. But he just kind of falls of the face of the earth and it makes me feel like shit. His response to me communicating this was to just say "sorry, it's all my fault" and then proceed to compromise for about 4 days.
I think that in our relationship right now, I'm giving more than I'm getting. I know that in most relationships, the balance of effort is not always 50/50. But I'm beginning to get tired of being the one to put in pretty much 75% of the effort. I'm always the one who makes plans, who buys the movie tickets, who texts him good morning messages (he doesn't even reply to those sometimes). I know he cares about me to some capacity, but I'm worried that there's an imbalance in the relationship and I just want to fix it.
(Before I end this, I know the description I've given doesn't paint him in the most wonderful light. I just wanted to take a second to say that he really is a wonderful human being. Whenever I'm with him on our dates, there's no one in the world that makes me laugh more or feel more loved. It's just the weeks in between where we don't meet face to face that I start to feel doubts)
Do you guys have any advice? Does it sound like my relationship has just run it's course? I love him so incredibly much and I just really want to get past this.
TLDR; my boyfriend is busy with his job and barely talks to me anymore. I feel like there's an imbalance in the relationship. When I brought it up to him, he didn't really change anything. Do you guys have any advice.

I haven’t seen anything on this so I thought I’d share what I’ve found while recently dicking about in Ghosts.
Boots if the Assembler, when in a rift, is supposed to spawn party buffs every ~10 seconds that fly to the nearest party members and grant blessings. This extends the rifts duration by 5 seconds by adding a separate counter. This only half works.
Now the buff only seem to go to the nearest friendly. Will only buff a single friendly target and it’s entirely distance based. Both seekers will go to the same target 100% of the time. This is not how they are supposed to work.
Besides that, with Lumina equipped, I was only getting one Noble Round spawning in per rift. This used to happen much more often and is no longer affected by the Lumina catalyst. It didn’t matter if I was using healing or empowering rift.
Both of these problems are huge needs to the functionality of boots of the assembler. I hope it gets fixed.
