3440 x 1440 wallpaper

Hi y'all
I've played B4B a ton but its performance has always been noticeably poorer than other games on my PC. I recently decided to try and lower the graphic settings to at least maintain a stable 60 fps, but even that seems impossible. I tried lowering all the settings to the lowest value and even then, during quiet moments it would barely reach 60 fps, let alone the huge drops during hordes and the like where it would easily drop to ~45.
I'm aware that my PC isn't the newest with the fanciest hardware but I also like to think it's more powerful than the recommended requirements. Anyone that has faced similar issues and might know some good fixes or settings for me?
My PC specs are:
-NVIDIA RTX 2080 SUPER -Intel Core i9 -16 gb Ram -2560 x 1440 Acer screen

So, a while a go on this Subreddit I made a thread asking between AMD 6750 and Nvidia RTX 3060, both 12GB and both around same price.

It runs at about 30c / 86 F with no fans spinning while gaming. Sometimes warmer, usually no fans spin unless under heavy load. Why Nvidia -- Because Minecraft 512x texture packs do NOT work on ANY AMD card at all...

The reason is quite simply that Minecraft builds all the items and blocks in to one big texture, known as a texture atlas. When using 512x this atlas is huge. Most graphics card can only handle a maximum texture resolution of 16,384 pixels by 16,384 pixels (older cards can be less). However, Nvidia 10 series and later cards for some reason can handle 32,768 pixels by 32,768 pixels. So for a simple bit of maths a 16,384² atlas when using a full 512x resolution resourcepack can only fit 1,024 textures on it. As of MC1.16 vanilla Minecraft has 1,143 blocks plus items textures, and with each Minecraft version this number grows. The “simple” fix would be if Mojang split blocks and items up, but as they only work in 16x they have need no to as they can fit over a million textures in the atlas. 

Also, I want PhysX (yes I use that) done on GPU, not CPU, that;'s Nvidia only. Also, didn't realize this but I need and use DLSS, Diablo 2 remaster for instance.
Also, I already had Nvidia (GTX 1080) and have custom configs in xorg.conf specific to Nvidia, with Nvidia drivers installed. All that would have to go even before I installed the card. I have 4 distros installed... Archcraft, ArcoLinux, Garuda Linux and Mabox Linux. All Arch based. Don't want to have to go around and edit X11 configs for everyone, uninstall drivers etc.
Oh and also, regarding GPU temps, I have never seen the card go over 53C / 127.4F even on KDE with shader wallpaper (all done by GPU), on 4 monitors, each monitor with its own wallpaper.

Hey guys, I’m planning to build my first rig and I’m kinda stuck on which GPU to get. Prioritise VRAM and get AMD or spend a little more to get the RTX 4070. I’ll be gaming mostly and probably do stuff like MATLAB and CAD which is more reliant on the CPU.

I thought I'd reposta question around an issue I'm having. I am unfortunately not getting anywhere and I thought some fresh minds might have some insight.
The fan issue:
The case fans turn on, but remain on a very low RPM . I have 6 case fans and 2 CPU fans (fanned up).
What I have tried so far:
Ajusted many settings in the bios, including they were on PWC or dc (they don't work at all on dc).
I have reinstalled some drivers, including the bios.
I have tried to download 3rd party software's (i.e., MSI after burner).
I do have 2 fans plugged into each port on the motherboard (a total of 8 into 4 ports). I thought this could be the issues, so changed this and plugged only 1 fan into one of the ports, but had no control over this fan.
I changed the fan (dc fan) and it worked just fine.
I imagine I am missing something obvious, or perhaps I missed a driver? I would very much appreciate any advice!

I'm getting the parts together for my first PC build, but the only thing I'm unsure about is the motherboard. I'm still learning the differences between motherboards, so they're kind of hard to differentiate for me. I read that the Z690 now supports 13th gen CPUs, which would be handy because it doesn't seem to be capable of BIOS flashback, but I wanted to check to make sure. The computer will be used for playing and developing video games. Any suggestions? Or is what I have fine?
Edit: I swapped out the z690 for a z790.

2013 MacPro has USB, Thunderbolt 2, and HDMI ports
2018 Macbook Pro only has USB-3 ports.
Most KVMs have either HDMI only or USB-3, none a way for USB-3 and HDMI. I have a 2560 x 1440 with a 60 Hz refresh rate monitor.
Is my best option to go with an HDMI KVM and use a USB-3 to HDMI adapter for the Macbook Pro?
