I first visited a major city when I was 15 with a group of classmates and on three different occasions I had grown adult men shout nasty comments about my body and general appearance directly at me (only black girl) singling me out from the group I was with. I was literally just a kid.

So I’ve got 2 boys that r only 2 months named Mickey and Remi. Remi is very curious, confident and trusting. He loves being pet n eating treats out of my hand. He’ll even climb on top of me and give me licks. Now I’ve only had them for almost 2 weeks but I feel like I’m getting nowhere with Mickey. Mickey doesn’t bite or anything like that but he tries to destroy everything. There’s this hammock they love n he just wants to kill it hahahaha. Remi trusts me so much that he’ll even hide behind me when he gets scared. I just don’t understand why one of them is super secure and the other is the opposite. Is this normal?

Apologies for such a long post, still recovering from a pretty bad head injury and I think I'm probably over explaining myself a bit lol.
So the other week I had a pretty severe accident in work. I was hit by a bit of falling scaffolding in the face the first bit of it that hit me got me in the forehead and went right through and the front plate of my skull that covers sinuses was completely shattered and I got a big crack up the back plate that covers the brain. Got surgery the next day and got load of plates and screws and all that fun stuff in my head and then let out the hospital the next day. Ive been off for 7 days so far and so far my work has been paying me full pay as well as booking me in for overtime last Saturday as well even so seem to be looking after me fairly well so far anyways to be fair. My contracts manager has been guaranteeing me that I'll still be paid while I'm off and no worry about trying to rush it to get back in as I'll be paid all the time I'm off. I've known him quiet a while and do have a fair bit of trust with him. The way he's been explaing me still being paid is that I'll still show up on the labour sheet and receive payslips for hours/overtime hours worked as if I'm still in.
Our senior contracts manager above him which I've seen a few examples from him of why not to trust him asked me last night about how long my sicklines for, I asked the CM I've been dealing with what that was about as I had no sickline and wanted to check it was nothing to do with the way I was being paid. He insists that he was only asking and not to worry about it that I'll still be getting paid but to just get a sick line when I get a chance then he'll come collect it off me. Tbh I reckon it's alright and probably just a bit to do with them keeping all their stuff in order after it but I figure it's always smart to just double check to make sure and cover yourself.
Anyways sorry to bore you with all the details lol. Basically my question is just does this sound all normal and that it shouldn't effect the way I'm paid. FYI - I was late diagnosed with autism at age 35.

So, I have been working for this company for almost 3 years. The situation has been complicated from the very beginning.
A multi-national group "saved" a really small firm that was going to shut down (wasn't making any money, old employees, even older structures, a strong need of investments to update and upgrade) because they needed its service. They placed as the owner a figurehead that was a close friend of a top manager from the multinational itself.Sadly, this top manager fell ill shortly after interviewing me for a PM role and passed away 4 months after I started working there. This happened in 2020, during COVID. Relevant: the firm is based in Italy, while the multinational seat is in Germany and both the manager and his figurehead friend are German. The figurehead doesn't speak Italian or English nor he knows Italian norm on safety, taxation, entrepreneurial responsibility etc. He hasn't done any effort in the past 4 years to become informed on these subjects.
The multinational never named someone from them who had to be responsible for the development of the firm upon the first top manager's death (when I arrived the figurehead didn't even pay suppliers, with suppliers cutting off deliveries, because he didn't know how to use the banking app) and I tried my best to follow through with the plan that the deceased manager left behind, but as the figurehead didn't want to spend its own money for investments the firm remained kind of stuck. Now the multinational is starting to understand that this figurehead can't be trusted and realized he has no idea what he is doing. They called me and told me their plan is to sweep him aside and name someone reliable, but haven't given me a date yet. They said "it will happen soon", but as legally he is the only owner of the firm I don't know how they plan to do it.
My issue is that while they decide what to do I have to undergo weekly remote meetings during which I am harassed by the figurehead who asks me to do things that would be detrimental to the firm (even as far as breaking the law). I suppose he will also come personally in the upcoming two weeks.. I am refusing to do what can't be legally done, which is obviously pissing him off. The idea of seeing him in person is now almost making me having a panic attack, due to the fact that he can be verbally abusive.
He is also pissed because I am not following through with other ideas of his because I simply don't have the time to do it. I have been operatively running the firm for the past 3 years, coordinating everything apart from production planning. I handle administration-safety-sales&business development-quality management-purchases. I have been feeling like I spend my working life handling emergencies, while having an idiot harassing me because the firm isn't generating enough money for him to get. When I told him I don't have the time to revise all our quality processes and change their format in order to upload them to his database he said that if I don't find the time to do what he wants he will shut the firm down for one or two weeks until I am done, forcing holidays on all other employees. What should I do? Wait, clench my teeth and hope finally he gets wiped off or tell him I have +2 months of holidays I never got to make and look for another job while seeing the firm collapse under his utter stupidity?

In the off chance this helps others to come to terms with this moral dilemma, here are the results of my agonizing over this part of the story for the last 11 hours (I wish I was joking about how long it took...):

This essentially thus works as a best of both worlds approach, affirming the MC's good/honest nature for initially wanting people to have the truth but also that they are smart enough to know when to compromise and lie when it means many people will be saved as a result. Thus, it becomes a moment of character growth for the MC. It also lets you demonstrate putting faith in Bronya and Seele as your friends, showing them that you trust them that they can succeed in ensuring Belobog's survival and healing through their chosen course of action.
I feel bad for how this will affect people like Serval who got screwed over by Cocolia, but sometimes for a society as a whole to move forward one or more individuals are left without getting to receive the vindication and closure they deserve. The greater good, and all that. :(

Hi everyone,
After playing a CA/TR Raider and a FS Slayer, I recently started an Ice Trap Assassin and leveled him up to 90 (mainly by being carried by friends).
While I see the absolute potential of destruction of the build, I'm having a hard time finding some balance, enjoying it and actually playing it.
The skill itself shreds bosses but is pretty awful while mapping. The movement speed is reaaally slow and I have close to no survivability due to the whole set of uniques needed for the build (heatshivers, dialla's malefaction, ralakesh boots, architect hands + annihilating of void battery/malachai's loop).
I experienced a bit and sacrified some DPS to get more HP, but every attack is still a one-shot. I tried a MoM/Eldritch Battery combo (w/ the Aurora Kite Shield for more def), but as soon as I got focused by anything I had no shield-mana left and wasn't able to do anything other than running around in circles waiting for the regen to proc.
I see a lot of people playing Righteous Fire, is the low HP + vitality combo the key to sustain it and be able to clear maps a bit faster ? How do you survive to anything w/ 1.5k HP ?
Do you have some recommendation on making it more enjoyable ? Or is this build destined to rush bosses and nothing else ?

“No, he’s on vacation, again.”

They had their work cut out for them. Irene arrived as they were about to open. The day went as usual, being busy yet monotonous. Something rare then occurred. The store slowed down. In fact, there were no customers.
​

“Okay, does anyone else feel freaked out right now?” Carlo asked.
​
“It is weird,” Mona agreed, “but we should just be thankful for it. By the way, I was wanting to talk to you all about something.”
​
​
When she had their attention, she went on.
​
​
“I was wondering if any of you wanted to collab?”
​
​
Jereall answered.
​
​
“I mean, we’d love to. How exactly would this work, though? I mean, me and Carlo are on music, Irene has her art, and you have your stories.”
​
“Well, I was thinking maybe I could give you guys a story to write some lyrics about, and then Irene can make some background art.”
​
​
Irene spoke up.
​
​
“I’d be up for it, but where would we find the time to put this all together?”
​
“I say we brainstorm now, then we can each work on our own parts and eventually put it all together.”
​
​
They agreed and the impromptu session began. The genre they decided on was a mix of dark fantasy and horror. They knew that they needed to get it done whatever they were making before their enthusiasm wore out. Mona would be the first to work on it, making her story. After that, she’d present it to the others so that art and a song could be made of it.
​
​
Elsewhere, trouble was brewing. Glen Dalton was not having a good day. During the past two years, he’d been having trouble quelling his workers. Sure, bribing politicians was easy enough, and so was convincing the general population of his greatness. However, getting people who were working under him to see the same view was more challenging.
​
​
Why was it so hard for them to fall in line? He’d provided jobs for them which was more than most people got these days. Not to mention, he always made sure they had long hours so they could afford to pay their expenses. Nobody was grateful. His parents worked hard to establish their empire and when it fell to him he was smart enough to hire people to help him manage.
​
​
What followed was supposed to be him enjoying his life. Instead, there was hardly anywhere he could go without encountering the parasites, be it his ingrate employees or the shoe kissers. At least he wouldn’t need to worry about dealing with them for too much longer, according to his hired researchers. In public, their opinion was the actions of his businesses and the climate crisis were in no way related. In private, they were constantly messaging him that the planet would in all likelihood not be fit for human life maybe even sooner than they were able to predict.
​

This had been the case for a while. Therefore, he hired engineers to work on a means of him escaping the coming disaster. It was something he intended to keep under wraps if not for one of his ex-employees. Although his social media monitors took it down almost immediately, many saw it, and the damage was done. It wasn’t his fans turning on him that he was worried about.
​
​
He knew that no matter what he did he would always have their loyalty. Rather, the more pressing concern was that the information would cause his opposers to throw caution to the wind and try to take him out along with his associates. Despite this, he was confident his people would finish things before everything reached a boiling point. For the first time that day, he allowed himself to smile. In his experience, patience paid off.

In the coming months, things would get far worse than anyone could’ve foreseen. While a lot of this could be attributed to the Dalton factories releasing gases into the air, it wasn’t something people needed to concern themselves with. No, they were more worried about who wanted to marry who or how someone chose to present themselves. Obviously, these things were far more important than the habitability of the Earth. People tended to have this ability to ignore an issue even as it stared them in the face.
​
​
However, some were fully aware of what was to come and no matter how hard they tried to get others to see it, they just wouldn’t. Others knew this was fruitless and so instead chose to prioritize their quality of life over quantity, what little they had to work with. The group that was especially good at this were artists. The reason being they possessed the unique ability to turn pain into drive. Such was the case for Mona and the others.

The project was slow to come together. When it did, it turned out better than they imagined. Mona’s story was set in another world full of gods and monsters. Someone tried to rebel against them and failed. Their punishment was an endless loop. They were sent to the deepest darkest part of the world.
​
​
Climbing out of it was possible. Unfortunately, every time they reached the top a monster controlled by the gods knocked them back down. Carlo and Jerell wrote lyrics detailing the rebel's pain, not only physical as the skin peeled to the bone with each climb but also mental of coming so close to freedom only to have it snatched away. Lastly, Irene painted the rebel on their back, haven fallen yet again and reaching a scabbed and bloodied arm toward the light. When it was all put together, they uploaded it where they could.

​
The reception for it was better than they expected. While there were some who did not care for it, others praised the creativity of the music and art. Mona saw more comments on her story from people who read it because of the song. It was the first and last major thing any of them would accomplish. They were okay with that.
​
​
Within the next year, things truly fell apart between natural disasters and scarcity. As mentioned, Glen Dalton had a means of escape and now was the time to use it. He was riding in his private jet. Every so often, he would glance out the window, seeing the fires of retaliation both figuratively and literally speaking. It took a while, but even his most loyal fans turned on him in the final moments, not that it mattered.
​
​
On remote islands, he and others had something worked on, ships to be exact, paid for generously with government funding. Of course, that meant he’d have to rub elbows more often with people he didn’t care for. That was a small price to pay, though. When he arrived, others were also there. It wouldn’t be long before the launch would commence.
​
​
Elsewhere, it wouldn’t be long before the rest of humanity would have to spend their final days. Most chose to do this with family and friends. Others, elected to have solitude. Mona and the others chose to spend their time left with each other and their families. They decided if they were going to go out anyway it may as well be on a happy note and so they gathered what little they possessed and threw a celebration.
​
​
The air was heavy with fumes as the rockets launched. Mona and the others were at Irene’s home, sitting together. Whatever differences divided people finally didn’t seem to matter.
​
​
​
“I don’t think it’ll be much longer,” Mona wheezed.
​
​
The end was a frightening thing and drugs helped. Among them was a bong which she took another hit from. She passed it to Carlo who lit it.
​
​
“People really enjoyed what we did,” Jerell smiled.
​
“Yeah, I just wish we could’ve done it sooner,” Irene replied.
​
“Better late than never,” Carlo said after blowing a cloud of smoke. “Still, it would’ve been nice if we had time to make something else. Can someone hand me the chips?”
​
​
With them were also snacks. The goal was to finish as much as they could.
​
​
“It’s a shame,” Carlo continued. “There’s a lot of places I wish I could’ve gone.”
​
“Jamaica?” Jerell suggested.
​
“That’s one. What about you?”
​
“I always wanted to see Japan.”
​
“Rome for me,” Irene interjected. “What about you, Mona?”
​
“The ocean.”
​
​
They were losing strength. In an effect similar to hypothermia, their minds were elsewhere. They passed away only hours later along with their families. Each one of them smiled as their imaginations made them experience their hearts’ desires. They were able to go happily. It would not be long until no living life would remain on the planet.
​
Glen Dalton and the other elites were in stasis as their ships were drifting through space. Before going into their slumbers, the ships connected to each other to form a moving city. It was powered through several means, mainly solar. Failing that, kinetic energy would also work for a while. The plan was to travel to an Earth-like planet and establish a new society. In order to manage everything, several AIs were created.
​

As tends to happen, however, things rarely go according to plan.
​
​
Author's Note: Finally, I'm able to get this next part out. I won't lie. This sounds like such a spoiled thing to say, but it really threw a wrench in everything. Since we had power, we thought it would be safe to go ahead and buy food while we could. Everything ended up spoiling, and we didn't charge the power banks when we had the chance.
The worst part is it's because lightning struck a transformer pole Tuesday morning. My neighbor said she saw it and followed up but I don't think anyone is coming and that's fair- a lot of people need help. It just sucks that this happened, and how unlucky it is is the most frustrating.

Here is why Cocolia should be playable.
(If evil, why so fucking hot)First of all, a lot of players really liked her, (also me) her design is really detailed, or I should call her mommy. It would be a waste to just make mommy Cocolia a boss. A number of players will really like her as a playable character. Second of all, her powers are just insane, freezes and hail storms, the graphics and abilities are her are too good for a boss.
(Where are the consequences?)Another reason why mommy Cocolia should be playable is because other characters such as Silverwolf and Kafka, who the trailblazer and others think is evil is also gonna be playable. So, why not make Cocolia playable too? I mean where is the consequences? Even though she died, it doesn't change the fact that she can become a playable character.

There is also another important reason. In the all miHoYo games, Cocolia is not playable everytime. So, why not make her playable? It is not like if the company has a grudge on beautiful blonde hair girls.In addition to my previous reasons, Cocolia must be playable because all the character in the data bank who is not a monster is playable. So, why not make her playable?I have listed several reasons on why Cocolia must be playable. Nonetheless, this is not enough words to satisfy Cocolia simps and players who likes Cocolia. Even deeper into the topic, her boss transformation is just perfect, the amount of details on her can't be explained in simple words. The story of her death might be gloomy, however, there is ways to fix it. Here is a few ways to fix this: Somehow somethings happens and boom bang Cocolia is back. Or somehow Bing bong bang don BOOOOOMm, Cocolia is buffed. Yes, miHoYo needs to buff mommy Cocolia, those players with really good relics can literally solo mommy Cocolia with only a little girl who players MaJong bruh. The mommy supreme guardian shouldn't be defeated by a little girl.
(Conclusion)in conclusion, Cocolia needs to be playable, simps really needs her and players who liked her needs her. There is no consequences for adding Cocolia as a playable mommy, however, the unclear death of her can result in some people getting heart attacks from simping on her. Everyone should be treated equally, no matter their gender, sex, nationality, appearances, identity, etc. Mommy Cocolia must be buffed, she is moomy and getting defeated by little girl playing MaJong? Therefore, Cocolia must be playable because she is mommy.

I was recently diagnosed with CPTSD and I hate it, the reason for which I've been diagnosed it and I started going to therapy seem so stupid to me and the fact that I let this happen to me makes me feel extremely weak
The sory is kind of complex but basically I discovered that one of my best friends had been involved in pedophilia, I tried talking to him but he refused to acknolewdge having done any wrong. When everyone else found out he then tried to put the blame in me.
He ruined my reputation overnight by stating that I was the pedo and used out of context screenshoots of me privately venting about problems I had have through the years with friends and acquaintances of mine to try and undermine their trust in me, he even exposed when I talkted to him about a sexual experience I had in which I felt coerced to have sex, and he told everyone about that, including my ex, to make me seem like a slut or something I guess.
Luckily it didnt work with most people but still was an incredibly stressful night and I did lose my boyfriend and a bunch of friends over this. I also received that night and for days to come plenty of hate messages telling me to kill myself, that I should be thrown in jail and my exboyfriend even said that the thought of having been with me made him want to throw up. I didnt have enough mental strenght to fight the slander.
I must say that in the past, when I was much younger, I did date a pedophile without knowing he was one and that has always made me feel dirty and kind of an accomplict to a criminal (even though I didnt knew shit and I reported him to the police afterwards)? I wont know how to describe it, but that somehow made things worse.
I know it was a stressful situation but there are people out there who have had much worse experiences, the worst thing it happened to me were some hate messages from people I appreciated, does some else also feel like his trauma isnt justified?
