Have a 2021 used Rebel 1100 an I do not like the OEM batwing and the screen is far too low so get loads of buffeting around my head.
Unfortunately, looks like you cannot just remove it as some of the bolt sizes are different. Anyone in the UK put a batwing on theirs and have the original bolts they would like to send me or anyone know where I could get a set from without paying extortionate honda prices.

I recently test drive a v7 and loved it. However I have limited mobility in my left foot and found the positioning difficult to shift. They suggested I might want to look at a Honda rebel 1100 with the dct, but I'm wondering if a heel/toe shifter is possible on a Moto Guzzi or a good idea.

Tearing into each other for the better part of half an hour, PAC is absolutely feral here, not letting this rare opportunity go to waste one bit, giving the champion all sorts of hell. Shingo, seeing some Ospreay in the Bastard, gives him the same respect he does his toughest rival, though the comparison only sets PAC off further, teasing introducing the title belt itself into the match, only to spike Shingo with a Tornado DDT off the distraction! Nailing the BLACK ARROW on the Dragon, he hooks the leg! ONE! TWO! THREE!!!

Or is it? PAC thinks he’s won the title, elated, only to turn around to the referee pointing on Shingo’s leg on the ropes! It’s Neville/Rollins all over again! Winning their past two matches, all he needs to do is replicate the feat one more time. It’s typical Naito behaviour from the jump, stalling for the opening minute as both men absorb the feel of the cheering crowd, split down the middle between the ways LIJ could go. Shingo’s stoic whilst Tetsuya smirks, sending some words Takagi’s way, before raising the LIJ fist! But Shingo rocks him with a jab!

A quick feeling out process sees Shingo gain the momentary upper hand off a rough Shoulder Tackle, only to turn into a Flying Forearm Smash from Naito! Tetsuya winces and smirks through the pain, knowing this hurts Shingo more than him, the Dragon remaining prideful with each counter headbutt, UNTIL A POISONED FRANKENSTEINER SPIKES HIM! SKULL END!!! Naito’s embracing the trauma! Keeping it in deep for a few moments as Takagi struggles, Tetsuya promptly lets go and looks at the turnbuckles… RAISING HIS FIST TO THE SKY, HE WANTS A STARDUST PRESS!!! Shades of his matches with Okada in the Dome, Naito goes for the Hail Mary… IT MISSES!!! TAKAGI GETS HIM UP FOR A LAST OF THE DRAGON!!! HE FINALLY HITS IT AFTER FAILING BOTH PAST MATCHES!!! ONE! TWO! Takagi’s taken aback, certain it was the piece of the equation he’d been missing. Angered, he knocks his own brutal forearms into Naito’s non-existent neck, an AXE BOMBER KNOCKING HIM DOWN! Both men down, Tokyo goes nuts as they slowly pull themselves up using each other, butting heads! Trading blows again, a Dragon Soul rocks Naito, BUT HE THROWS ONE BACK! AND A FOREARM! A HEADBUTT! Naito runs the ropes, but so does Shingo, once, twice, thrice, TORNADO DD- PUMPING BOMBER!!! Grabbing the wrist from behind, TAKAGI WANTS THE RIPCORD BOMBER!!! BUT NAITO WITH A DESTINOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Now Naito’s in shock, mere inches from the win! Seeing his hometown on their feet for him, new life rushes through him, nodding to himself as he sets up again the DESTINO! Shingo throws his body weight forwards though, both men collapsing to the apron! Trading punches, it’s the HEADBUTT which subdues Takagi, his neck in sheer agony! AND NOW NAITO WANTS THE APRON DESTINO INSTEAD… SHINGO SHOVES HIM OFF! APRON CANADIAN DESTROYER!!! REVENGE FOR THE 2019 G1!!!

Naito’s eyes are glazed over, all the years of abuse to his own neck catching up to him! Takagi hoists him up, seating him on the turnbuckle, before raising his own fist skywards! Meeting Tetsuya up there, who gives one last fight with forearms to the neck, a DRAGON SOUL silences him! Grabbing the wrist, Shingo picks him up on top of the world… STAY DREAM!!! ONE! TWO! THREE!!!

It’s over. Once more, Naito’s championship dreams have been shattered into stardust as Takagi finally scores the win that’s eluded him throughout his NJPW run! Tokyo’s a stunned silence as they watch Shingo be handed his title, holding his hand high as Tetsuya lays still on the mat. Is Naito truly finished? LIJ pour out, Hiromu and BUSHI rushing to check on the Stardust Genius, while Yota and Titan check on Takagi as he suddenly stumbles back into the corner, clutching his neck.

As Naito’s helped to his feet, there’s a standstill between the two halves of LIJ as they stare each other down, intensity stemming from Shingo and Naito. Takagi pushes Yota and Titan aside, stepping forward whilst nursing his neck, Naito doing the same, butting heads with the Dragon again! …But then a smirk appears on Naito’s face, raising high the LIJ fist! And Shingo smirks back, raising his own to meet it! AND THEY EMBRACE!

What was thought to be the war that could fracture LIJ in half forever has only brought its two strongest members closest together! Grabbing a mic, Naito congratulates Shingo for finally beating him. He knew this day would eventually come, and he couldn’t be prouder of his friend. Though this loss stings him, the journey is never over him, and rest assured, he’ll be coming back for the throne, rested and healthy again, Naito winking at Takagi as he says so, who reciprocates with an inviting grin.

But right now is not about him. In fact, he may not even be long for the wrestling world with the condition his neck and knees are in. That’s why he’d like to make an announcement. From henceforth, he’s no longer the sole leader of LIJ. He wants Shingo to lead beside him! Takagi’s stunned by the offer, but Naito insists, explaining that though EVIL and SANADA were corrupted by greed for power, it was never about that to him. LIJ is his family, and he only wants what’s best for them. If that means Takagi calling the shots when he’s unable to, he’ll do that. Shingo gives him a bow of acceptance!

LIJ all smiles, united stronger than ever, Naito beckons them all to the centre of the ring, before gesturing to Takagi to cement his leadership by doing the roll-call! Takagi nodding, he accepts the mic from him and raises his fist to the sky as everyone follows… but right as he’s about to speak, the crowd bursts into gasps which catches Shingo’s attention, as OUT WALKS PAC!!!

Having hunted down and beaten LIJ members since his loss to Shingo, he snarls as he stalks his way to the ring, LIJ falling into defensive position! Stepping inside, he looks them left to right, scowling at their clenched fists, before raising his mic. He says that ever since he set foot in NJPW at the G1 Climax, he’s been a man possessed with his goal to take what he’s been deprived of. He stomped out Naito, he stole Shingo’s belt, he just beat Hiromu earlier in the night… yet none of that has left him satisfied the way he thought it would. It had him thinking the question – why?

And then he realised. LIJ isn’t the enemy. They’re misfits, just like him. Oppressed, just like him. He banded together Death Triangle in the face of The Elite, but now, he seeks a far greater position. With contract negotiations having come up, his 5-year AEW deal finally expiring, he’s opted for one that’ll allow him to work both AEW and NJPW, covering his bases so he doesn’t go unbooked anymore. And with these recent matches causing him to gain respect for the Ingobernables and their unrestrained manner of operations, he knows from experience that if you wish to rise to the top in Japan… it’s good to have allies. As usual, the night after Wrestle Kingdom is rife with excitement and new beginnings, and at the centre of it all lies the age-old rivalry between LIJ and Zack Sabre Jr.! Fresh off losing his Television Championship to Taichi after a year-long reign, he immediately sets his sights on the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, a victory here sure to propel him to the top. And with LIJ finally back to being a cohesive, functioning family again, their redefined chemistry is put up to the test here.

Batting off the initial concerns of another blow-up, the rebels have never been more in sync than now under Naito and Shingo’s shared guidance, the added element of PAC only further helping than hindering. Still, Sabre-Gun is menacing, a driven Sabre sicking his troops on the opposition like the masterful general he is, yet to his annoyance, the crowd remain enamoured by the Bastard, who taps out Fujita to the Brutaliser as he stares down the Technical Wizard, sending a statement!

Whilst ZSJ throws a fit, promising LIJ they haven’t seen the last of him as he leaves with Sabre-Gun, LIJ raise their fists to the sky with Shingo returning the favour from last night by letting Naito do the roll-call this time, grins all around. That is… until the coin drops. HERE COMES OKADA! Turning to Naito, Shingo gives him the nod that he’s got this sorted, Tetsuya tipping his cap back and taking LIJ away with him to give the two space as the rivals lock eyes.

Mic in hand, Okada runs down Shingo, calling his reign an insult to NJPW, despising the Dragon’s prideful embracement of his Dragongate past when he should be representing their company. With Okada’s trilogy against Kaito finished in his favour, playtime’s over and the Rainmaker’s come back knocking for his crown, having beaten Shingo in the G1. Shingo, remembering how his last reign ended… accepts! Butting heads with Okada, he warns him he’s even more dangerous now, so he shouldn’t expect to walk away with his gold this time.

In the past year, Okada’s descent into madness has seen embark on an emerald voyage to kill off any outsider or youngster eyeballing his spot, even brutally exiling members from CHAOS to reshape it into men who fit his regime. Seeing Takagi as low-life scum, he’s adamant to ‘fix’ NJPW again so that his efforts from last year don’t go to waste, knowing the continued deviance LIJ’s control will cause from his ‘purer’ path. Shingo, on the other hand, has been collecting milestones, from finally beating Ospreay for the title, to finally knocking off Naito to affirm his spot at LIJ’s top and win a January 4 main event to redeem his loss two years prior against the man who now stands in his way again, the only natural next bucket list item hence being beating Okada back on the WK stage.

A gruelling war over New Japan’s vision spans over the next half hour (akin to the classic they’d actually have at New Beginning 2023), Okada mercilessly dumping Shingo over and over again on the neck Naito had loosened up, whilst Takagi holds his own more than he ever has in the past, blistering the Ace with lariats that leave welts all over! The first RAINMAKER hits like a gunshot though, damn near taking Shingo out, yet he keeps fighting through the damaged neck! MADE IN JAPAN has Okada rethinking his decisions to challenge, and a STAY DREAM tease almost gets him!

A vicious TOMBSTONE drills him on the floor though, sending spasms down from his neck to his limbs, another RAINMAKER pushing him to his last legs! As Okada preps one final one… TAKAGI NAILS HIS OWN RIPCORD BOMBER!!! The FIRE THUNDER DRIVER now has Kazu reeling himself, and a LAST OF THE DRAGON scores a mighty near-fall! OKADA RESPONDS WITH ONE OF HIS OWN, GETTING SHINGO BACK FOR THE RIPCORD!!! Inching closer and closer to the vaunted third Rainmaker, Okada has Shingo’s neck in dire straits with the Money Clip, but as he finally swings… TAKAGI CATCHES IT! ANOTHER LAST OF THE DRAGON!!! ONE! Tetsuya trying to recover some momentum to speed up his rise back to challenging Shingo, he gives Hiroshi his all, though the Dragon Screws prove too much for his bad knees, a TEXAS CLOVERLEAF submitting him!

He’s not getting any younger as it seems and he wants nothing more than one last run at the top… so for the sake of sparing the company he broke his back for the past two decades from LIJ’s undesirable direction, he wishes to bring gold back to CHAOS! Record level 1-1 between the two, Takagi fearlessly accepts, setting up a blockbuster showdown for Osaka!

Now, in a war of ideologies, they settle the score! Even at 47, Tana’s flamboyant as ever in his entrance, turning back the clocks with a full rockstar entrance as women swoon over the Japanese God. Shingo’s comparatively humble in his entrance, glaring taped-up neck keeping his head bowed, yet nostrils flaring, ready for battle.

It's a classic Tanahashi start, slapping on the headlock to grind down his foe, only now it means that much more with the condition of Shingo’s neck. As Hiroshi reaches for Takagi’s tape, Shingo butts into his chest with his shoulder to shove him off and fires up a Pumping Combo! Chop, punch, chop, punch, chop, punc- DRAGON-STYLE HARITE FROM TANA KNOCKS THE TASTE OUT OF SHINGO’S MOUTH! Takagi doubled over, Hiroshi hammers elbows into his exposed neck, a Low Dropkick cutting him down and a Neckbreaker flooring him for 2!

Heading to the middle rope, a SOMERSAULT SENTON BOMB is evaded, Tana crashing on his back! Now Shingo blasts him with the ground and pound! A Knee Drop sits Hiroshi up, before a SLIDING D knocks him back down for 2! Whipping Tana into the corner, a CORNER BOMBER heads his way like a missile, but a Big Boot and a HIGH FLY ATTACK cuts him off, before Tana strums the air guitar!

Tana tries to get a hold of the neck, but Takagi turtles and kicks him away, prompting Tana to secure the leg instead, connecting a DRAGON SCREW! Shingo hobbling to his feet, a TWIST AND SHOUT awaits him! Hiroshi rolls through for seconds, but now Takagi grabs his leg and RETURNS A DRAGON SCREW!!! Tana’s famously bad knees give way, Shingo now with free reign to stomp the chest, before hoisting him into a MICHINOKU DRIVER II! Heading up, he winds up the DIVING BOMBER, but taking too long, Tana cuts him off!

Beating on Shingo’s exposed neck, he drapes him from the top rope… AND SNAPS HIM INTO A VICIOUS DRAGON SCREW NECK WHIP!!! Meeting in the middle, they bounce elbows off each other’s skulls, TANA CRACKING SHINGO WITH A HEADBUTT!!! TAKAGI RETURNS ONE, DROPPING HIROSHI!!! Battering the back, he tries for a LAST OF THE DRAGON- SLING BLADE FROM TANA!!!

As the Pumping Hawk rises, Tana cracks a swift TWIST AND SHOUT, before nailing ANOTHER SLING BLADE!!! Back turned to Takagi, Tanahashi’s confident he’s got him… BUT HE TURNS INTO A PUMPING BOMBER!!! Hiroshi rocked, Shingo hits the ropes a few times, before firing off a PUMPING BOMBER THAT TURNS HIM INSIDE OUT!!! Now grabbing the wrist, he teases the Ripcord variant, but Tana counters with the SLING BLADE!!!

Returning up top, Tana crashes into Shingo with a STANDING HIGH FLY FLOW!!! Going back up for seconds, he looks over his kingdom… but Takagi grabs his leg! Tana tries kicking him off, but Shingo pulls himself up, trading blows with Hiroshi! He eats a Headbutt to the neck but firms it, wrecking Tana’s back with punches… BEFORE NAILING AN AVALANCHE EXPLODER ’98!!! LAST OF THE DRAGON!!! ONE! TWO! THR-NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Gritting his teeth, Shingo winds the arm, going for a PUMPING BOMBER, but Tana just collapses under! Takagi stomps over to him, only to fall into a SMALL PACKAGE! ONE! TWO! THR-TAKAGI KICKS OUT! SLING BLADE!!! Tana attempts a BRAINBUSTER, but the back gives out, letting Takagi fall into the ropes and rebound with a PUMPING BOMBER!!! Shingo’s at a loss, but in this game of natural progression, he looks to replicate his WK success, smacking Dragon Souls off Tana, before another PUMPING BOMBER flooring him! Dragging him up the ropes with him, he wants the STAY DREAM… but it left his neck exposed, Tana raining down 12-6 elbows on it! Shingo forced to let go, he instead trades forearms with Hiroshi, but a HEADBUTT knocks him down this time into a prone position! Tana in perfect position, HE NAILS THE HIGH FLY FLOW TO THE BACK!!! Rolling Shingo over, Tana heads back up… HIGH FLY FLOW!!! ONE! TWO! THREE!!!

For the 9th time in his career, Tanahashi’s the World Champion! Shingo’s neck finally crumbling at his hands, the CHAOS regime is back on top! A remarkable reign from the Dragon, but he’s forced back into his cave. As Tana celebrates though, he doesn’t have to wait at all for competition to line up, KATSUYORI SHIBATA’S THEME HITTING! The fellow Three Musketeer losing his US Title earlier on the tour, he’s had a bone to pick with CHAOS for the past year since their exile of the likes of Goto, who have since been in his corner as part of the Takeover faction. The two long-time rivals staring each down, Tana raises his title with a grin, as Shibata returns a murderous look!

Justification:

• It provides a chaotic mix of traditional and modern units even late into the game. You can have battles between traditional armies, or modern slugfests (of both sides having bolt-action rifles such as the Fusil Modèle 1874s and Gewehr 71s, Maxim machine guns, and breech-loaded artillery guns such as Lahitolle 95 mm cannon), or throwing hordes of musket/spear armed infantry at the modern units.
  
• Every faction has a distinct set of play style and challenges
  
• Potential for a battle royal situation if enough of the competing factions decide to duke it out directly.
  

Timeline start: Either right before the First Opium War kicks off (giving players the option to find ways to avoid the war, or do things differently from how history played out) or the immediate aftermath of the war.

• Major advantage: Immense population and economy, which could allow the player to grind down small modern forces with sheer manpower, assuming they aren't distracted by multiple ongoing rebellions throughout the map while also dealing with a foreign invasion.

This is also where the Qing and the rebels can have many reinforcement army stacks within the same battle for a long running grind, which will be problematic for the smaller modern forces if they can't break the hordes' morale fast enough. After all, what good are rifles and cannons when they run out of ammunition and the 6th reinforcement full-stack army showed up to replace all of the earlier shattered units?

Modernization will be necessary to prevent the foreign factions from continuing to carve up the Qing (which will cause even more rebellions in the remaining Qing provinces), but modernize too fast and it will cause its own rebellions (TW: S2 Fall of the Samurai style) or even have governors/generals rebel.
While the Qing and other factions may choose to seek foreign backing for easier modernization, aligning with one foreign faction means that foreign faction has free rein over the other faction, and thus could cause internal unrest, unbalanced trade agreements and other problems. It also means other foreign factions will be more hostile to that other faction if they were already hostile to that particular foreign faction (e.g. aligning with the Russians means the Japanese will not be too happy about that and thus risk getting the player dragged into a Russian vs. Japanese conflict).
Joseon (Korean dynasty)

• Major advantage: Initially foreign factions will focus on the Qing Dynasty, which gives the player some time to try to deal with the corruption and internal rebellions and prepare for the inevitable showdown.
  
• Challenges: Still have to pay tributes to the Qing Dynasty, which the player can opt to break that treaty and accept the consequences for it. Eventually foreign factions will come knocking on the door. Modernization is even harder, unless the player risks significant internal instability to get the Joseon to break its isolationism.
  

Tibet

• Major advantage: Like the Joseon, has some time to prepare for the inevitable conflict.
  
• Challenges: A hostile British faction may opt to use its Indian forces to the south of Tibet to invade, especially as the Qing continues to weaken. Modernization is also difficult.
  

Northern nomadic tribes

• Major advantage: Mass traditional cavalry go brrr
  
• Challenges: Player can choose to stay aligned with the Qing, or rebel (which could risk a war on all sides, against the Qing and the other nomadic tribes). The Russia and Japanese factions will come knocking.
  

Should a nomadic tribe modernize or get major foreign backing, carbine/revolver cavalry and towed machine guns and light artillery guns go brrr.
Foreign colonial factions (Great Britain, France, Japan, Russia, United States, Germany and etc)

• All of them have their own flavors and sub-challenges, such as the Russian faction whose main victory condition is a warm water port and a railroad link to it (which predictably pits it against the Japanese faction's victory goal to control Manchuria and German faction's victory goal to dominate the Qingdao region).
  
• Some factions won't show up until mid/late game, such as Japan.
  
• Major advantage: Generally have a significant technology advantage
  
• Challenges: Generally limited quantity of forces and the colonial factions' victory goals conflict with each other, so a player may end up with a situation where on one front their modern forces are going up against other modern forces, and another front is dealing with horde of Qing full-stack armies. Recruiting more modern forces has a very long waiting time, which means losing a modern fullstack when the enemy has plenty of more forces to press forward could be game over (or at least cause a major death spiral).
  

Diplomacy is required with the Qing and other factions. It's generally cheaper to convince the Qing to give up a "small concession" and sign one-sided trade deals than to fight a grinding attrition war.
For some of the factions, the profitability of their operations dictate how much forces they can field, and if finances go into the red for too long or merchants/missionaries are constantly being harassed/killed, the home country may lose its patience and thus "boot" the player to trigger a game over. There will also be crisis or war events in Europe/America that puts major pressure on the diplomacy between the colonial factions.
Qing rebel factions (such as the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom)

• Major advantage: The Qing faction is generally going to be busy dealing with other rebels and foreign forces, and the player can quickly recruit hordes of fullstacks of bullet sponge cannon fodder angry peasants after a few provinces are conquered. They may be able to get governors/generals to defect to them and thus bring their provinces or armies over to the player's side without a fight. They will be able to access more advanced units as they continue conquering more provinces
  
• Challenges: Access to modern weapons will be difficult unless major favors are gained with a foreign faction. Sufficiently piss off both the Qing and the foreign factions (or a Qing that pulls itself together), and it'll likely be a curbstomp.
  

A few challenge modes (ultimate victory):

• As the Qing, declare open war on all of the foreign factions to expel them. This predictably leads to those factions all allying together because they would rather have some of their colonial possessions rather than none.
  
• As a Qing rebel faction, overthrow the Qing and then declare open war on all of the foreign factions to expel them.
  
• As one of the foreign factions, declare that all of China belongs to you, triggering war with the Qing, Qing rebel factions and all of the other foreign factions.
  

I'll keep the easy jokes to myself... but I'm an experienced rider that's used to sport bikes. I'm getting older and less adrenaline seeking and want something that's still snappy, good looking, maneuverable and exciting to ride. But I also want a more comfortable riding position for longer rides.
I've had a Honda f4i, YZF-6, CBR600rr and a Yamaha Bolt (didn't like it).
I liked the 600s because they're easy to move around and I haven't needed much power outside of that, so I've looked at the Ninja 650 because the riding position is taller...but then I started looking at BMWs F900R, then the MT07/09, then the Z900 on and on and I'm stuck.
Any body make the same transition as me? Or any good general advice? Appreciate it in advance!

I am somewhat new to riding. Been doing it now for a year. I have owned a 750 Honda shadow, 900 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 and currently have a HD Sportster XL1200. I like/disliked them all. Shadow did not get up to speed quick enough. Vulcan was fast but was heavier than I liked. Sportster makes my hands numb after riding it over an hour. I have the itch for a new/different bike but I really don’t know what to look at next. Cruiser, Adventure, sport??? I want something that I can ride in the interstate easily but also just ride around on twisty back roads. I am 6’2” about 235 lbs. I was thinking Rebel 1100 but I think I would be to cramped on it after hearing from others. So I guess I want a big fast bike that is also light. And of course not crazy expensive. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello all!
I am doing a custom fairing job on my motorcycle and had question. So, I have a 400 watt amp, with 320 watt speakers(label says all together peak is 320) and I'm trying my hardest to find the correct information before I buy a new battery. It's is a 2021 Honda Rebel 1100 and for the life of me, I CANNOT find the what the systems pulls from anywhere. So, if I install this fairing, my current understand is that I would potentially need a battery with a minimum of 230CCA, it will obviously be a 12V but would I need a 50AH battery? I understand that the AH is how long the battery will run, what do I need to do to ensure the battery will have enough power to comfortably run the system without affecting the normal systems of the motorcycle. Additionally, I will be using my quadlock on/off switch to turn the system on/off. I will be using a 40amp relay and the quadlock switch will only be used to allow it to draw power from the battery. The relay will do the rest in regards to the system. NOTHING is spliced, plug in, or touching the OEM system besides pulling power from the battery. I'd like to make sure my understanding is accurate before I just go pulling power, draining the battery and causing some kind of short(which isn't likely to happen).

I am here to share with you my productivity tips that I have developed since starting college. I am 31 now so they are 13 years in the making.
A little background, I work a 9-5 as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the medical device field, I own my own project and I am the lead design engineer.
I have multiple projects that are all getting completed simultaneously (I am a bit of a gear head):
I bought a 2002 Yamaha R6 motorcycle that did not run and was a disaster. I am fully rebuilding it except the motor which is in good shape internally. I have modified the electrical system to accept some more modern electronics to alleviate a lot of issues it has. This project is about 70% complete, but it is a shorter project.
I have a 1985 Pontiac Fiero that is my first car I bought with my own money from working my job in highschool when I was 18. It has had 4 different engines in it, all from Fieros. Currently I am swapping in a much newer more powerful motor that is not normally considered a performance motor, but I have fully rebuilt it and had it machined and balanced and with lots of goodies designed for other motors but through LOTS of research I found parts that would fit. The chassis requires a decent amount of modification to make it all work, but it does bolt up to a stock transmission (even though I am swapping the trans out for a newer one too). All the mounts, hoses, lines, brackets, belt routing system, exhaust, intake, and accessory system are all custom. This project is about 85% done.
I have a 2005 Ford E450 24 seater shuttle bus that belonged to a church that is getting converted into an adventure mobile that is basically a tiny home on wheels that has storage for gear. Got this dirt cheap as the frame of the "bus" part of it was really rusted out. Unfortunately it was way more rusted out than I thought and $3000 of steel later plus countless hours and the frame is fully replaced. It took a lot of cutting, welding, grinding, and painting to get to this point. I had stripped the body and windows off of it and they are all back on now with a temporary floor. Permanent floor going in soon. Probably 65% complete at this point.
All of these projects have no guidance available for them really, it is all up to me figuring it out and it is extremely satisfying to make it all work. I document all of these projects in various forums to get feedback, provide very useful information to others, and to document the process for myself, I fill them with useful information that I can reference later.
On the side I also do work on people's cars to help pay for all these projects, anything from brake jobs to engine out top end rebuilds. Had two WRX's back to back recently that both needed engine out jobs.
I also have a 2002 WRX that is far from stock and has had more than one engine in it already, this is my daily though so when stuff breaks, I upgrade it. Try not to let it turn into a project as I need to use it every day. It has 315,000 miles on and runs and drives like a champ. I buy used stuff as much as possible to keep costs down. I maintain my GF's car as well.
I also maintain two dirtbikes, one for myself and one for my girlfriend, dirtbike often, snowboard every weekend in the winter, and try to workout regularly. We also meal-prep a lot so we don't waste money on food.
ACTUAL ADVICE STARTS BELOW
How do I do all this shit without any kind of calendar or schedule? My plans journal.
I constantly write in my plans journal and talk to myself there to figure out direction. I figure out what I need to do next on each of my projects every single time I wrap up working on one of them for the day. I figure out what is limiting me from doing what, and I get actions into a chronological order along with what supplies I need to do what tasks. The end result is an actionable list of what needs to be done next in each project.
Then anytime I have free time I reference my journal, check my lists, decide what I am feeling like tackling today, and then execute.
The executing part takes a little discipline but nothing crazy. I have found that I cannot do things to reward myself before working. If I watch entertainment, eat a good meal, reward myself in any way, execution become extremely hard. Being full kills motivation. Instead I grab a drink, could be coffee, could be a seltzer, could be a beer, eat a banana with peanut butter or power bar if I am hungry, and I get myself over to the garage. Do not let yourself start to analyze anything, all analysis MUST be done ahead of time in the journal or you will get stuck in analysis mode. This is execute mode time. Once I get going, hours slip by. The hardest part is just getting going started. I do everything in my power to make starting as low effort as possible, this is the crucial element.
Also if I am coming home from work and have plans to work on my projects (like I do tonight) I am not going to dilly dally and relax after work. I am going to come home, change into my garage clothes, feed the dog, grab a snack, and send it into the garage immediately. Relaxing after once you finish everything is so much more enjoyable, and there are 0 feelings of guilt, 0 feelings of I should have done this, it is the most relaxed you will ever be.
As far as working out goes, I try to keep it simple. Run, bike, even walk for cardio. And I also have a weight lifting rack in my basement, it cost the same as a year membership at your average decent gym, and I have had it for almost 10 years now. Once again, low starting effort, throw my gym clothes on, walk downstairs to the basement. I like doing a standard 5x5 lifting program, it is 3 days a week, 3 exercises per day, 5 sets of 5 reps per exercise. Record weights and sets. There are apps that make it super easy. Takes less than an hour total, destroys your whole body, builds all your tendons, strengthens your bones, builds all your balancing muscles, absolute best bang for your buck in terms of time vs benefit. If I feel up for it, I throw in some supplementary exercises after. If not, I don't. On days I workout, I usually choose easier tasks on my project to-do lists, or if I am really not feeling it, no big deal.
To have the energy to do all this stuff, you can't eat junk and stay up all night. No caffeine after noon for me, currently on a 0 added sugar diet. No counting calories, just eat real food and eat till I am satisfied, drink water, easy easy easy, literally nothing to think about. Don't stay up too late researching things or watching youtube/tv. If you have a productive day, falling asleep at the end is easy.
That is about it, those are my methods of making all these things as easy to accomplish as possible. Once in a while I let myself be a lazy piece of shit, but it is all part of the plan, I harness how much I hate feeling like a lazy piece of shit to get back at it the next day. My methods also let you be chaotic and random and spontaneous as they do not require any scheduling asides sort of the working out part, but I work out at all random times of the day, just try to make it 3 times a week which gives you a single two day break period each week. My two day break period is random depending on whatever else is going on. I hang out with friends too and my GF, but anywhere I can fit in time to get some shit done I do, even if it is just 45 minutes, it all adds up, and it is easy to jump into it because your plan is already outlined.
Don't waste your life with possibilities, don't analyze while trying to execute, don't submit to low effort enjoyment and flood your dopamine system and mess up your natural dopamine reward system. Don't reward yourself with food, drugs, etc until AFTER the work is done. It will be that much more satisfying.
Go listen to "Time" by Pink Floyd. I am your "starting gun" if you need to hear this.
While I suggest you read at least the bottom half fully....
TL;DR
*Keep a journal of plans outlining next steps on your projects so you can separate analysis and execution time. Do not analyze when executing.
*Keep starting effort low with plans journal and how you have things setup, for example, buy workout equipment so it is at your house, same cost as a year gym membership and you have it for life.
*Do not reward yourself in any way prior to getting started on work. Messes up your dopamine system and ruins productivity.
*Don't eat junk and caffeine and sleep like shit. Getting shit done helps you sleep at night. If you want a quick cheap healthy meal, get Chipotle.
*If you have planned next steps well, it is easy to take advantage of any small window of time available to you to work on your projects. Having multiple projects with next steps planned out gives you flexibility to choose what you want to work on vs having rigid structure and schedules which never works for me.
*Sometimes you will be a lazy piece of shit. Lean into it and harness how terrible it makes you feel to get back at it tomorrow.

First manual bike suggestions
So I'm not new to riding persay, my first bike was a 70cc 2 stroke European bike called the tomos revival ts 2006. I was able to hit speeds upwards to about 55+ with it, had a carburetor & a kick start with electric start didn't have too much torque because stock it came as a 49cc small displacement bike but I did a lot of upgrades. It styled as a mini Harley. I'm a relatively tall rider but I fit quite well on it without looking doofy on it. It was also pretty light about 150- 200 pounds & 2 automatic gears.
It recent got stolen so now I'm hunting for a new bike in the meantime. I'm looking for something that is easy on my wallet with cheap and readily available parts but is also easy to work on my own and if I do need a professional mechanic it won't break my bank. But I also need it to be sturdy & reliable, as far as speed goes I live in New york city so I don't need to be a speed demon as long as I can hit 75 I'm fine.
(I've been told to get a fuel injected bike but the only one I can find used is the sr400. )
It's not my first time on a clutch bike I used to ride 80cc motorized bicycles with a clutch system but it will be my first time with a fully manual system of gears that I'll need to shift and greater weight to flick around & get used to.

I am in need of a new car but also not. Current car works fine, that’s a Honda civic but 17 years old. I can afford a new car easily, but I don’t want to put a lot of money into a car but also do because of new car and Lexus’ are great. Just can’t believe that people put $300-1100 a month into a car.. my car was free to me. Reasons not explained. Yearly income is $149,500. I can clearly afford a $45k Lexus NX hybrid. I just am baffled that people put so much money into a car even though I am thinking about it. I’ve never had a car payment so I guess it’s my time to do my job here.
I’ve heard a lot of people say Lexus’ are a woman’s car, soccer mom car, girly car, etc. almost half the users of Lexus’ are women. I see why because the cars are very nice, luxurious, last a long time, sexy, stylish, and dudes would rather have a dodge charger, dmv, Tesla, or Mercedes or something worth more money and more manly lol. However, lexus’ are very nice and I don’t care who drivers it more. I want one. I do see lots of people driving them. People of all ages but mainly older people and some people in their 20-30’s. Why do people hate on Lexus?
I am a 27M. I am seeing that people do judge people for their car some and draw conclusions on them some. Having a Lexus vs an Acura, or a Mercedes, or BMW is kind of a wash. All expensive depending on the model. All about peoples perspective and thoughts on how other people think. The fact that the car industry has made us think it matters what car for the most part that we drive is insane. It’s just a car to get to point A from point B, do things with in life and haul things/ people.
What’s your opinion on a Lexus SUV vs another brand? Would I get judged on by girls or even men on having a Lexus? What would a dude having a Lexus say to you?
I do think about what cars people have but not that much. Now that I have a high salary I think I should have a nice car but also not and don’t care but also do.

My 99’ Rebel started backfiring like crazy a half mile from work. I got it to the parking spot and listened to the engine. It was rattling and the left side was backfiring. So I cut the engine and called my local Honda shop. One of their techs told me to check my exhaust. Sure enough the left exhaust was loose at the head. One bolt was almost completely out. I tightened both exhausts up with a 10mm that was at work. Fired up and back to normal. Kind of a fun experience now that it’s solved. Gotta give some respect to the technician that helped me on the phone. Gonna check all my bolts before I get back on it and count myself lucky.
Tldr: bike was backfiring omw to work and I fixed it at work with the advice of a tech I called and rode home after work.
