I wanted to be stoic about this. I've adopted the philosophy that "oh well when you find out what's causing it you'll have so much more confidence having experienced all this."
Just live a little. C'mon, you can't just stop living.
The shit I have to endure on a daily basis with room spreading bad breath that persists even when my mouth is closed is pissing me off to no end, and it's only been a year.
The 2 hour plane ride the day after I started getting very visceral reactions for the first time was one of the worst experiences in my life, and now I am expected to subject fellow travelers to a 9 hour one back and forth and switch two flights alongside the bus rides?
How the fuck do you people manage the mental toll?
What happens when you have to travel in an enclosed heap of metal (and people just vomit and rub their god forsaken noses and cough and laugh, gaslight and resent you) until you continually feel like a piece of waste for even existing for something you cannot identify the cause for?
But hey, don't you love your family? What if they thought you didn't want to see them? You sound anxious, maybe a therapist could help you unpack what you seemingly project onto others?
Everyone (even those few who understand my situation) are telling me following through with my trip is the way to go because my family would want to see me regardless.
I want to see them badly too, but subjecting them to this is assuredly not the terms I wanted for them.
In my presence, they'll barely be able to focus on anything, let alone eat or sleep properly. Scattering around looking for new ways to mask the scent or even get a moment's respite. It's hell for everyone and that's the worst part.
This is what happens to everyone in my immediate proximity.
Is that a way for them to spend their time off?
I've been to a dentist, they just said ah well your oral hygiene hasn't been the best and you have beginning stages of cavities in a few teeth that may need a root canal in the future if you don't get periodic check-ups every six months, could be a bacterial imbalance.
Ok so I try probiotics, seemingly doesn't make a difference based on the persisting reactions.
Then I see an ENT and besides them opening up every window in the place and wearing a mask throughout told me that I did not have any sinus infections, tonsil stones or nasal polyps. This was valuable information but from here on out I'm a bit stuck.
I guess either it's gut related (have a 10 year history of acid reflux and one prior instance of h. plyori 2 year ago) or the dentists missed something with my teeth. That's what I got atm
While I'm hopeful that AI may speed up progression in the medical field to help people like us, this whole "seeing my family who doesn't know" bit really irks me.
Has anyone had to deal with similar travel conundrums or do you have any inputs at all? I'll take literally anything from people who can relate at this point.
I frankly just needed to vent so if you read this far I appreciate you and admire your resilience, fellow struggler

I am in need of help, very badly. In 2021 my mental health absolutely tanked for various reasons to the point that I was hospitalized multiple times & unable to work. I maxed out all of my credit cards and my credit score is shit. I have 3 cards all at their limit with 23-29% APR. I’m just now starting to feel back to my ‘old self,’ but in the time between I’ve had to take jobs that have minimal stress and therefore often low pay, as well as hourly jobs because I often have not been able to maintain a position. I’ve been doing things like working at a massage front desk, tea shop, substitute teaching, etc that don’t pay me enough to cover all my bills. Although it’s given my nervous system time to reset, it’s now been years of not making enough to get by. I would like to take out a loan to help supplement bills, credit cards, rent, food, pet care, etc until I find a higher paying job, but I’m having a lot of trouble understanding. I’ve gone to places like MoneyLion and other websites and I end up getting a bunch of emails saying I’ve qualified for XYZ. This also happened when I wanted TK apply for a credit card, but then when I actually went though with the applications my app would get denied even though I had gotten an email saying I qualified. So, my credit score continually goes down further, and now that I’m looking for a loan I’m wondering the best way to do this without having my credit hit a bunch of times. How do I get a loan with a poor credit score? Can anyone point me in the direction of a resource? TIA. Please be nice.

Okay so... I love this game, I really do. The story is fun with insane lore, the cutscenes are gorgeous, there's so much creativity with the Zonai tech mixed with Sheikah tech, and there's just so much to the world itself that I could spend days exploring and still find new places. So all that I'm about to say comes from a place of love, even if it sounds harsh.
I just beat the game and am a little upset about it. I feel like the game teased me with what the world would be like post-Ganondorf, just for it all to be snatched away. I was excited to find the next Sage of Spirit maybe, or find a Sage of Light (or even become the Sage of Light due to Link's connection with Rauru). But no... no post-game anything. Instead, we get to see the cutscenes, the credits, post-credits scene (rip Mineru and construct buddy), and we even get a little star next to our save file. You would think that the game would want to explore what could be next for the world, right? Wrong.
I know I shouldn't be shocked because the same thing happened in BoTW, but I really hoped that there would be a continuation of this post-Ganondorf world. Heck, they could have it so if you wanted to, you could fight the memory of Ganondorf (like how you could go back and fight the Blight Ganons in Champion's Ballad) so you would still get to fight him as often as you like, but the timeline of this game would continue after you defeat Ganondorf. The blood moon could still occur and be explained by something along the lines of "it's a lingering part of Ganondorf's power, he may be gone, but the blood moon will serve as a constant reminder of our struggles". We could get materials from the Light Dragon by just... having them spawn on the ground in areas the dragon's flight path was.
But nope. We have the final fight against Ganondorf as an impassable wall instead. Great :/

Again, I think the series is at its strongest when it has these creatures displaying speculative behavior reflecting species in our modern world while still being completely rooted in science, and I think I have neither the intellect nor experience to come up with scenes like this to the caliber to which the original show did. Though the show often balances this with more traditional paleo doc staples like eating, hunting and mating which I could come up with, but just filling the episode with scenes like those would be boring and like every other paleo doc out there, which Prehistoric Planet isn't. I'd love to at least attempt to come up with some of those speculative scenes in the future though, we'll see. I sim from a desk that I also use for work so I am unable to leave my flight sim setup in place when I'm not using it. However, I find that the hassle of re-configuring and setting up the components whenever I want to sim discourages me from doing it.
I'm trying to figure out a setup where I can attach a yoke, throttle quadrant, and pedals to a stand that I can set up around the desk when I want to sim and then move somewhere else when I need to work without having to breakdown the whole simming setup.
Does anyone have a recommended stand or other alternative for this?
I have the Honeycomb Alpha yoke and Bravo quadrant. With any luck, I'll have the Charlie pedals in a month or two if they deliver on their preorder timeline.

I'm trying to figure out a setup where I can attach a yoke, throttle quadrant, and pedals to a stand that I can set up around the desk when I want to sim and then move somewhere else when I need to work without having to breakdown the whole simming setup.
Does anyone have a recommended stand or other alternative for this?
I have the Honeycomb Alpha yoke and Bravo quadrant. With any luck, I'll have the Charlie pedals in a month or two if they deliver on their preorder timeline.

Hi, I was hoping to get out of the UK over summer by getting a summer job in Sweden for the next few months. This is just a super general post asking for any and all advice.
I'm Swedish on my mums side so am pretty familiar with the country but pretty crap at speaking the language (definitely not enough to use in place of work).
A few general questions I could do with advice on are:
What jobs could I be looking for as an English Speaker? I've worked pretty extensively in hospitality and have met some Brits in Stockholm and Copenhagen working in bars who only speak English. This would be ideal work for me but feels counter intuitive with such jobs being customer facing.
Where (geographically) is good to look for work? My initial thought was that one of the islands like Gotland or Öland would be a good starting place for specifically seasonal work (also a nicer environment to live in.) But perhaps it would be better to look in one of the major cities? I'm unsure - let me know.
Where/how can I search for jobs? Are there any particular jobs websites or directories that I should be looking at? Would you advise just flying over and handing out CV's to bars etc? Definitely finding it hard to know where to start ahaha.
Another things to consider is that I would have to sort out accommodation. So if I could find a job that came with accommodation or if anyone had advice on finding somewhere to live for just the summer months as well, that would be ideal.
Finally, does any of this sound viable or it is a complete non-starter? I know people start breaking for summer a bit earlier in Sweden than the UK so maybe I'm too late to make any of this work or maybe it's too difficult as someone who doesn't live in Sweden to begin with?

Hey all, I need your advice. I graduated back in 2019 and I have been working as a mechanical engineer ever since at the same small company with only 10 engineers out of 150 employees. I’m trying to find a new job with much bigger companies where they have a much higher ladder to climb than my current place does. I’m trying to freshen up on the basics from school now as I have some big interviews lined up. I’m especially hopeful that I get an offer from Northrop Grumman after I interview this week. I’m assuming my future interviews will ask me technical questions especially if the jobs I’m interviewing for are not immediately related to what I’ve been doing over the past few years. This makes me somewhat anxious because I’ve forgotten so much from school that they could ask about.
How did you study for your past interviews? What resources did you use? I rented all my books while at school so I can’t as easily go back and study them.
Any pointers would be very much appreciated.

I never disliked ichigo, he was always different from the stoic masculine male guy, even though he looked exactly like it but his behaviour said otherwise, but orihime, it was a huge no for me. Of course now I have grown up and pieces are falling into their places. And ichiruki was perfect for me. Because how rukia was older, mature, scolded and taught and molded ichigo into a great fighter, and kinda proof that I was into rr even when I was a literal child. But yeah of course ichiruki is weird because of their age gap and that rukia met him when he was barely 15-14. But either, the post still stands. I don’t think I was the only person who was disappointed with how Czech heavies were initially announced. After all, the 2-shell guns were what really made them unique on PC, and many people were concerned that without them, these tanks would be clones of the IS-7 branch. However, I think that they are actually rather unique and have found their own place in the game. Thus, I wanted to share my thoughts on them.
Škoda P-JS: While I’d rather this thing didn’t exist (It’s an abomination whose only purpose is to make you play the STRV M/42), it seems to be okay. I only played it once, hated it, and FXPed past it. Seems alright though. 3/5.
Vz.44-1: While I prefer the Škoda T-45, the two tanks are very similar. The Vz.44 sacrifices the DPM and armour for more speed and a higher alpha gun, but it’s a pretty good tank at Tier VII. Imagine a cross between the Tiger (P) and T29. 4/5.
TNH 105/1000: I actually FXPed straight past the tank, but it sounds like a cross between the 53TP and T32. I’ll go back and play it once I have some more credits.
TNH T Vz.51: It’s a decent Tier IX, but the Combat Stabilization mechanic isn’t overly noticeable on it. Alpha is good at 420, armour is decent, but the tank just doesn’t feel amazing. 3.5/5.
Vz.55: Well worth the grind IMO. Feels like a slower, more accurate IS-7, and the Combat Stabilization is definitely noticeable on it. Works well in a lot of situations, but there are noticeable flaws (big LFP, fairly large cupola). 4.5/5.
Overall, I think the branch is a good one with a worthwhile grind. I’d say that Czech heavies are overall 4/5.

I leveled with sand 1.5 weeks ago on bermuda sod. Just curious how soon is safe to let the dog run on it again. He's the reason I had to level in the first place haha. He got the zoomies while the yard was muddy, left a million paw prints.

What documents would I need to prove that accommodation. Also do they have to necessarily be within date? My guess for documents would be a council tax letter, a mortgage letter and a land deed thing. Is there anything else I might need for that?
But I'm also in the mortgage process for buying my own place, but it still might be a while before that's finished. Is it even worth mentioning it to them if I'm using my parents as accommodation proof?
