Just admitted to Northwestern and I’m beyond the moon! As of right now, my main other option is USC, so I am heavily considering Northwestern. I have a few questions before I visit campus! My prospective major is Anthropology while on the premed track.

1. How is the city of Evanston? As a suburb, are there a lot of things to do?
2. How is the competitiveness at Northwestern? One of my main worries is being “an average student” at Northwestern compared to, say, a state school.
3. How stressful is the quarter system? I wasn’t a fan of the quarter system when I heard Northwestern had one and as a premed student, I’m not sure how well I’ll handle it.
4. Course selection! Is it easy, hard, doable?
5. How does the cold get? I live right outside of NYC so i’m used to 20-30 degree winters but to my understanding, Evanston is way colder. Are the winters brutal?

I don't know where to add this, so I'll just make it into a paragraph of its own: I'm childfree and plan on remaining that way. I realize that I'm starting to get to an age where people have kids (arguably was at that age already), and I don't mind dating a single parent, so long as there's no pressure on me to co-parent. I just want to make it clear that I don't want any children of my own, and my mind will not be changed on this.
I'm looking for someone who's willing to exchange photos fairly early on, as attraction is important. I'm short (five foot five inches) and thin (135lbs). So the other day I got the itch to replay the Fable games again but sadly I discovered that my controller finally died after 13 years of service(r.i.p). At first I was just annoyed thinking I'll have to buy a third party controller but when looking for a replacement I realized that even third party accessories for the 360 are becoming kind of hard to get.
I managed to find an original replacement for a decent price but this realization has kind of led me down a path of paranoia of not being able to play my favorites again if my console or equipment breaks down in the future. Which leads me to my actual question.
What are the best ways for me to make sure my console works for as long as possible so that I can play these games as long as I possibly can ?
For the controller I bought a few spare battery packs since I heard they break pretty often but I feel like my best bet is probably one of those adapters that make newer controllers compatible but I was hoping to maybe hear if they're any good from people who have experience with them.
I also wanted to ask if there any parts one the console itself(360 Slim) that have a tendency to break/need replacing so i can maybe stockpile some of that stuff before it becomes harder to get in the future.

I currently have a BSN and will be starting at the VA next month. Since one of the easiest ways to get paid more at the VA is to get a MSN. With the scholarship, thought I would jump right in. Starting a new MSN-Ed program at the same time as a new job isn't the best timing, but with the scholarship on the table, figured why not give it a try?
I am looking at Capella for the MSN-ED using the Flex-Path option. Has anyone used it before? Main attraction for me is the go at your own pace aspect and the price tag would be 100% covered by remaining scholarship funds. Also there is already a student agreement in place through the end of 2025.

I’ve left the company twice, for about 8 months each. Both where for the wrong reasons but ultimately worked out for the best. But about a total of 10 years with the company. I started when I was 16 I’ve worked Dairy, Frozen Foods, Produce, Scan, Replenishment Manager, Evening Manager(x2) and Assistant Manager(x2)for about 3 years now. And far far too many days being the MOD and DSD or market associate. I’ve helped with Wave work in many different waves, was a part of Wave 1 way back in 2014. I have worked in stores that average 160k a week to my current store did 800-850k a week last year in the summer(Shooting for million dollar weeks this year!) and everywhere in between. Is a trip to Vice City in your near future? There have been many Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) leaks over the last few years, but the most recent suggests that players will return to a classic GTA location. Rumor has it that Grand Theft Auto VI may take place in Vice City.
This particular rumor started through the usual sources -- Twitter and Reddit. Twitter user Vector Hold, also known as Peter Brian Rice, claimed that Rockstar Games’ music rights representatives have been contacting Synthwave artists. Rice is a synthwave artist himself and has reportedly heard this information from fellow musicians. Rockstar Games hopes that the artists will contribute music for a radio station in the upcoming game. The tweet was posted earlier this week, but Rice has since deleted it.
There was also a reddit post that was created several months ago by user “markothemexicam.” The user claimed that their information was from their roommate. The roommate supposedly formerly worked for Rockstar North. They contended that GTA 6 will be set during an “unspecified” time in Vice City. This post has also been deleted, but has been saved elsewhere on the internet.
It would be tempting to discredit this reddit post as these kinds of claims are a dime a dozen on the Internet. However, another GTA leaker also recently suggested that GTA 6 would be set in a location familiar to players. Both markothemexicam and the GTA leaker have a fairly decent track record with regards to GTA predictions.
Other information on the internet suggests that the storyline of GTA 6 will be focused on drug smuggling. Players will reportedly travel between Vice City and Central or South America. This theory was originally suggested by YouTube channel “The Know” and has since gained quite a bit of popularity.

It is important to keep in mind that all of this information is simply speculation. There have been plenty of fake GTA 6 rumors in the past. For example, a Twitch channel called "GTAVI" appeared this past spring. The channel promised it would provide information about the game during a livestream on April 1st. However, this channel turned out to be an elaborate April Fools’ prank.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City was released in 2002 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC. It was the best-selling game of 2002 and received a number of awards. 17.5 million copies of the game have been sold and it has now been ported to several other platforms. It is easy to see why so many players would be thrilled to return to Vice City. Unfortunately, we will know nothing for certain until Rockstar Games decides to make a formal announcement.

Need some help here as have gotten in similar spots a couple of times.
Was playing in a £50 buy in live tourney today - had been told the field was mostly comprised of old nitty regs who have been playing before I was born.
It's very early in the tourney, I have 55BB(slightly above average stack) we are maybe 10 hands in, never played with these people before. I'm UTG+1, action folds to me with AKs, I raise to 4BB, one caller, one 3-Bet to 15BB, I raise to 32BBs. (Side note, I had seen the raiser limp, slow play aces a few hands before.) She 4 bet rips it all in. I go into the tank, as have been told many players (especially older players, are extremely nitty, and 4-bet means QQ+, and am hoping for a flip at best. But second guess after I remember her limping strategy, I also mistakeningly think "she had aces just a few hands ago, it can't happen again" - obviously a fish thought process but it happens.
Anyway I tank for a while, decide to call, knowing I'm flipping at best.
My question is, should I ever fold here, knowing I'm almost always against JJs+ . Maybe if I 3-bet less I would have a clearer decision? Obviously a double up early is massive in a 70 person pool, and for these odds a flip would be OK.
Ps, not worried about player in-between, he is near enough folding his hand out of position at this point.
Obviously she had Aces and I got stacked, I didn't connect with the board at all and if I called the 3-bet I most likely would've got away after flop/turn.

I was so excited when I got my 11th row cure tickets for Cuyahoga Falls that in my excitement I spontaneously bought 3 "LiveNation VIP Green Room Access" tickets for $150 a piece as well. Since then I've recently had somewhat of a financial setback and would rather get the money back for the green room access, but still go to the concert. For whatever reason, now that the fan resale is open, it gives me the option to sell my concert tickets, but still only has the option for "transfer" when it comes to the "green room access."
Not sure if anybody would be interested, and if unfamiliar with the term "green room," it's basically access to a room that the headlining artist "may or may not" visit before they go on. At least that's what the email said, there's no guarantee of meeting the artists, but you might see them passing by I guess? Basically I have 3 if these I wanna sell. I understand it may seem sketchy trying to sell here, I'd do it on ticketmaster itself if possible, maybe it will be later, idk. I ordered the Wild D whistle from Long and McQuade in Canada because it was actually cheaper than directly from McNeela for some reason (135 CAD plus tax, free shipping).
Here are two photos I took while returning the whistle to Long and McQuade after it arrived:

The whistle had a nice heft to it, but it was also very visibly curved!
Additionally the fipple was deeply scored, and not very smooth across the blade. It sounded ok, but I could feel the curve when I was holding it, and for the price I wasn't willing to put up with a lemon.
They're ordering me another one, and I'm willing to give it a 2nd try when it comes in, but based on the quality control shown by this one being able to go out the door I'm going to have to be pretty impressed with it to keep it.
