Covid at home tests walgreens

I’ve been scheduled at another store in a different town (only a 20 minute drive) twice this upcoming week!
I’ve only been a partner for 4 months now and my home store is not busy at all, there are normally only 3 people on floor at all times. The store i’ve been scheduled at is 10x busier than ours (normally has drive thru lines leaving the parking lot)
I’m very nervous as i’m not insanely fast at making drinks and don’t have all the recipes mastered (mainly fraps)
Any tips for working at a different store for the first time?

So I've got a small HomeLab (Asus PN50, Synology DS420J, PiHole) which sits in it's own little tech cube corner. I don't have the best internet connection so downloads of more than a hundred mb can take a while. Specifically stuff like game mods (from places like NexusMods) can take hours to download.
Rather than leaving my gaming PC on for all this time, is there a bit of software that I can put on my server so I can push the download to my server? A web plugin or something?
At the moment I RDP onto the server and just use the browser there to set the download going, I was just wondering if there's a nicer and massively over-engineered way I can do this?
Ideally what would happen is:

1. I click the link to download on PC
2. The download instead starts on my Server
3. The file is moved when completed to my NAS
4. I can then access it from my PC

The theory is that I can set some downloads running overnight and then get them in the morning. I'm aware that torrenting and the like have scheduling options but this is specifically for HTTP downloads.

Hello everyone. 33 y old female here.
My mother has been a heavy wine drinker since I was 13 years old, drinking about a bottle to a bottle a half of red wine per night. This has been consistent up until now.
She definitely has had weight gain over the years due to this and a poor lifestyle in general (lack of exercise etc). I live abroad, and about 2 years ago when I came home and she picked me up at the airport, I literally did not recognize her. She had changed so much in the span of a year, and now had a large protruding belly, that looked hard, almost like she was pregnant. She had not appeared to gain any weight in her arms or legs. I remember being perplexed by this sudden weight gain, but did not mention anything.
A few weeks ago (so more than a year later) a friend sent me pictures of what ascites from liver cirrhosis looks like. She recently had a family member pass away from this condition, and warned me that my mother may have it and that if she is at the point where she has ascites, she likely will not have many years left to live.
I have been struggling since I heard this of what to do. On the one hand, I want to gently ask my mother what her symptoms are, and if she's considered going to see a doctor just to make sure that everything is okay. However the few times in my life I was brave enough to bring up her drinking problem, she got extremely defensive and cut me out of her life for months on end. Each of these hard conversations definitely damaged our relationship. This is the first time in a long time that her and I are on "better" terms, and Im afraid of losing that by upsetting or offending her.
On the other hand, part of me is tempted to keep the peace, not rock the boat, and pray to god it's just weight gain and not ascites. I know this is a selfish option, I'm just terrified to have the conversation with her.
I have no idea if she suspects that she has this or not, by the way. She always just tells me she's "gained weight." But given the way she continues to drink, my guess is she does not think she has a health issue.
My question for you is - how can I go about this conversation in the least offensive and most loving way possible? Has anyone else had to confront a family member who possibly had liver cirrhosis or ascites, and if so, would you care to share how it went and any advice you may have?

Long covid feels very physical but I just want to explore a theory, please hear me out, before hopefully replying, thanks
So long covid is a very real thing that creates very real physical symptoms, I expect we all agree. But what I am thinking is that maybe, just maybe, the symptoms are caused from a brain problem? So the brain is creating the physical symptoms from something that has happened to it from covid? So technically it might be a mental health problem that then causes physical symptom?
So for example muscle fatigue might not be a problem with the muscles but a problem with the brain/nerves connected to the muscles.
It might explain why tests cannot detect long covid, maybe people with long covid need some kind of brain scan/nerve testing?
Just an idea, long covid is a very real thing whatever the reason behind it.

I was that cousin that everyone hated because I was 'perfect' and their parents constantly compared them to me. Now they look at me and go, 'serves her right'. I don't blame them. I get how it feels to be constantly compared to someone.
I was the miracle baby twh doctors had given up on. I was doted and loved by everyone. But it came with a price. I had to keep up with their expectations to stay 'loved'. I wanted to make my parents proud of me, so I read encyclopaedias and dictionary, I copied dance moves from dances on TV. I'd show off to my relatives during festivals, meet-ups and gatherings. I loved seeing the proud faces of my parents. I tried to act like a grown up. I tried not to act spoilt, I dressed myself for school, I didn't whine for my mum when I wa sick. I stayed quiet as my neighbour molested me, because he said my parents would be disappointed in me. I did everything. My parents looked at me like I was their most prized possessions.
Let me make one thing clear. I was never academically bright. I have never gotten above 80% in any test. That's like getting a B. My parents believed that if I put my heart into studies I'd be able to ace it. They took my love for books as smartness. I was never good at studying but it never bugged me until my brother came along. I was six then. Suddenly I was the eldest child in the household. Suddenly I had to give up my toys and snacks. Suddenly everyone visited to only look at my brother. My neighbour stopped molesting me. I thought something was wrong with me. I started to hate my brother. Act spoilt. Ans it only disappointed my parents. I was heartbroken. But I thought of I kept up with my hardwork they'd look at me again. I took dance classes, swimming classes, I worked extra hard on my drawings, but it didn't work. After a few years by brother started showing interest in drawing. And the only thing my parents still appreciated from me was gone. They only cared for my drawings when a guest. But even they would only look at my brother's scribbles. I love my brother, but back then I hated him. During 7th grade, I met my molester again and memories of what he did to me came back. I spiralled into a rabbit hole of anxiety, depression, fear and self hatred. My grades dropped from 80 to 70. My parents were even disappointed. I felt dirty, I wanted to tear my skin. I became short tempered, bitter and violent. I slept through my classes, ditched events, slept more at home. The only person who believed in me was my best friend. I tried to die several times but failed. During COVID my mother discovered my cut marks and they took me to a doctor. I'm getting therapy now. Which is good I guess. But my parents have completely given up on me now. My whole family knows about my condition. That made me feel worse. I didn't give my final exams so I have to repeat a grade. I act like being the disappointment of the family doesn't hurt me. That the contempt, pity and sarcasm doesn't get to me. The anti depressants made me fat. The fat shaming, sarcasm, the 'advice'. All of this is getting too much. My younger cousin looks up to me, because I don't care. But it's not it. I might act all high and mighty, but it hurts. I've been clean (of self harm) for a few months but I don't know how long I'll be able to hold on.

I've realized that I'm very infatuated with her, I'm attracted to her and what I feel is totally a crush. Like, if I look at her I think ''oh thats my older sister right there''.

I will have 6 months maternity leave (paid) which is unbelievably great, but after that, I have to go back to work, full-time.
My MIL who lives with us at home and is a great person - offered to take care of the baby full time, so I don't have to hire a nanny and she instead suggested to hire a housekeeper, so she could focus solely on the baby. (Housekeepers cost half as much as nannies, so this is a great offer from her part)
She's 63 years old and I don't know how she will be with the kid. I have severe anxiety about leaving the baby alone with her, but I also prefer grandma to take care of her instead of a stranger.

I love my girlfriend with my whole heart, but we have a few major differences. We both suffer from mental illnesses, but hers are worse than mine. She doesn't like being alone, and I do.
My girlfriend and I have been together for 4 almost 5 years now. For most of the time, we were both pursuing school, so we'd stay on video call all day so she could have constant company. We'd chat every once and a while, but for the most part we'd tune each other out and do our own thing. I enjoy her company as well, but I also enjoy having time to myself. While rare, sometimes our school schedules wouldn't line up so I'd get an hour maybe an hour and a half to myself.
However, now I'm out of school and working and she's still in school. I have to get up at 4am in order to take public transit to work, and I usually get home around 5pm. So, for most of the day, she's on her own with her school work. She video calls me for all of my breaks, and I update her when I get on/off the bus/train etc throughout my commute, and we video call from when I get home until I leave for work the next morning.
Work leaves me feeling tired and drained, but my girlfriend is always full of energy when I get back, wanting to show me videos she's seen or wanting me to watch games she's playing or to play games with her. I love doing these things with her but I engage with her activities all day until it's time to go to bed, so I have no time to do any of the activities that help me recharge my mental batteries. Any time I try and decline her requests for my attention (saying that I'm tired and just want to rest, or I feel drained and need to recover) she gets really sad, upset and self-deprecating, unintentionally making me feel guilty for requesting personal time and discouraging me from asking for it.
It has reached the point where when I go to the bathroom on call, she gets lonely if I take too long and often requests I take her on the phone with me. The only time I get to myself is on the commute to and from work. I get on average 4-5 hours of sleep a night because she doesn't want to fall asleep by herself so I can't go to bed until she does, and because she doesn't go anywhere or do anything aside from school work, she doesn't go to sleep until very late.
I love my girlfriend with all my heart, but every day I get more and more tired, and whenever I express any desire to have more privacy/be on my own (and thus leave her alone), she gets extremely upset and the conversation just ends up making me feel worse for requesting privacy than if I had just kept my mouth shut.
I feel like I belong to everyone except myself.

Hello everyone! this is a bit of a long one , so i really appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this !
a little info : I live in the uk where mental health services are BAD , im undiagnosed despite trying for 7 years to get help. I developed extreme anxiety at 12 and became home schooled , but due to a lot of stuff It was never acknowleged as something I needed support for? My mother passed when I was 17 and ive been seeking help since. I am 25 now and have spoken to several gp's , they just told me to loose weight even after going to them about SH struggles . I am now living with my partner, im nearly 3 years clean from SH but I still struggle alot.
I really struggle with what i call thought loops . When i'm anxious , I get hyper focused on things causing me anxiety and everything leads back to my anxiety. I've always been been able to analyse myself well and know why my brain is doing this, the logic behind / what sort of response should be able to stop the worry but it doesnt work.
An example :
Anxiety : YOU CAN'T GO INTO THAT SHOP YOUVE NEVER BEEN THERE BEFORE
Me : People go into new places everyday , there's nothing wrong with going into a new place and the staff probably want new customers
Anxiety : YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO GO IN THERE , IT'S NOT A SAFE SHOP IT'S DANGEROUS
Me : I moved here a year ago, previously all the shops were new shops but now they are " safe shops" . This shop is opposite a shop I like and it has nice stuff inside, the people inside are calm so there's nothing to worry about
Anxiety : YOU'VE NEVER BEEN IN THERE YOU CAN'T GO
If i go in, i'll probably get a stomach issue or migraine that lasts for days . If i don't go in my brain will tell me im in trouble for not going in because i needed too despite not being allowed by my anxiety
I tend to have these though loops more about stuff ive done , stressfull situations, triggering memories, food stuff, health problems and social stuff
The only way I can get any relief from this kind of thinking is for people to just be like "that's not true". Even people giving me usefull information like " you don't have cancer because -" sometimes adds to the anxiety because it feeds into the thought pattern and acknowleges the thought? but it doesnt work when I do it to myself... and i'll need people to repeat themselves a lot for it to sink in which is probably really annoying for them tbh
I feel like i need too much external validation to manage my anxiety and because of a lot of stuff ive gone through, it takes a toll on people and I don't want to do that to others... I want to be supportive of them , and to do that better , I need to work on getting better to be stronger and more independant, especially as atm my support system is very small and i've just been not talking to anyone and it's made my health really bad
