In a few weeks a lot of fans from all over the country/world will be in New York/New Jersey to see SUGA! Help an ARMY out and let them know about safety, how to get around, where to eat, BTS related things to do or places that BTS has been to before in NY and NJ or anything else that you think someone should know when they come visit!
I heard the concert capacity of these arenas is about 18000! Hmm x 3 dates…I am excited to see at least 54,000 recommendations from all of you 😅

  • Make restaurant reservations ahead of time if possible to avoid long wait times

Hello New Yorkers I'm an Irish guy travelling to NYC, I know you get plagued with these posts but it will be first time so want to optimise my schedule so please let me know your thoughts. Looked at accuweather and the weather isn't promised great for next weekend which sucks but I'm sure it will be a great trip
Thursday: Get in roughly around 6.30 to Airbnb in East Harlem. Sofar sounds in midtown at 7.30 so not much time to do anything. Go for food and drinks afterwards near the venue (still not sure where that is)
Friday: • One World Observatory
• 9/11 Memorial Plaza
• 9/11 Memorial Museum (maybe)
• The Occulus
Lunch: 12.30-1.30
Afternoon: Big walk of Manhattan (including at least Flat Iron building, Central Station, National Library, Stonewall Inn, Radio City, Wall Street) (Anything else I’m missing that people would recommend)
Hamilton on at 7pm.
See times Square after show
Going out after ?East village chill live music rock/indie music if people had recommendations
Saturday
• Ferry along the East River to Dumbo and the Brooklyn Bridge (Get the boat from east 90th street to Brooklyn Navy Yard) https://www.ferry.nyc/routes-and-schedules/route/astoria/

2021.10.28 17:17 ethnt Drastically different forecasts when choosing current location vs. explicitly

I’ve messaged support about this, but is anyone else seeing different forecasts for the same area, depending on if you choose it via current location vs. explicitly?
For example, I’m in Brooklyn. I choose current location and I get a temperature of 45F, and the location sets to New York. If I select Brooklyn explicitly it has a temperature of 53F, a pretty big difference. https://imgur.com/a/zU59WY0/
I’m on iOS 15, iPhone 13 Pro, and using AccuWeather as a source. Maybe worth noting that the AccuWeather app doesn’t have this behavior.

Winter storms can bring snow, sleet, and freezing rain across the entire United States and its territories. Even Hawaii gets snow in its Big Island, and major cities as far south as Atlanta and Dallas have been paralyzed by snow and ice. Blizzards occur when strong wind causes blowing snow and whiteout conditions, making roads impassable. Thousands of people are injured or killed every year in traffic accidents related to slippery roads from winter storms.

Restaurants will be barred from serving diners in their roadway setups and must remove all tables, chairs and electrical heaters. Many restaurants in the city have built wooden structures over the course of the pandemic to house tables and expand dining options under COVID-19 restrictions.

Billy Cole, general manager of Korean restaurant Little Dokebi in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, said the snowstorm on top of the indoor dining ban limits the business to takeout and delivery.
