So, i'm watching episode 18 of campaign 2 and i have to ask...is Critical Role scripted?By that i don't mean: Matt tells the crew EVERYTHING that's going to happen in advance and they just pretend to be surprised but something along the line of "Matt tells SOME members of the cast vague things like "if you find yourself in X situation, it might be a good idea to do Y".
I had my suspicions in campaign 1 episode 3, when the group wants to avoid the Duregar camp and the cast plans on using the carpet to bypass them entirely. When Laura and Marisha see the waterfall they IMMEDIATELY start pressing for checking it out (and it's kind of obvious that they don't have any solid reason to do so, as if someone told them to check that place) and that's how they find Clarota that turns out to be both a helper and an antagonist later on.
In campaign 2 i've have some more suspicions, especially whenever Beau decides to "do the talking" and proceeds to find every possible way to escalate even the tamest of situations.then i started watching episode 18 and i just facepalmed when the group decided it was a good idea to send YASHA to talk with the wizards that repelled the Crick attack during the gala, despite the whole group knowing that Yasha IS from Xhorhas (a thing that was pointed out already). This means that now those wizards KNOW that one of the members of the M9 is a possible enemy of the empire, which will undoubtedly start some shit in the future.

I loved the recent episodes. Man - there is something about the Unity and Class of the Mandalorians that really strikes well with me. But the on thing that really bothered me was how Nevarro was portrayed as this city thats more than a village but only showed like 50 people. Barely anyone was standing with the High Magistrate outside the City, and for a City that size there shouldve been hundreds. I mean they were talking about it being a trading hub. Really tanked the immersion for me and took away from the weight of the fight. A couple more extras wouldnt have hurt I. Am I alone in thinking that?

Okay maybe this is just me being in the medical field but I was watching S2E2 with my boyfriend and got so annoyed with Lottie recounting what happened the night Travis died. Drop the damn crane remote, run over to him, lift up his legs to reduce compression of the carotid arteries! Like actually the dumbest story/excuse ever! He was literally 3 feet off the ground?! And she’s still playing with the damn remote like it’s a RC toy for the 30-60 seconds where she could have made a difference in his outcome. Anyone else lose their shit over this? Haha I couldn’t take it. Such a dumb move that if everything went down as she said she’s just as guilty for this « horrible accident. »
Makes me think that she actually just full on dissociated from the moment and was chilling with dead Laura Lee instead of troubleshooting a remote for that minute she could have made a difference, that it didn’t go down the way she described. If it did actually go down that way, she has no critical thinking skills and idk how anyone follows her. End rant!

I totally understand how frustrating it must be for anyone to Fail USMLE Step 3, especially when people seem to be passing this exam easily. Failing Step 3 is something people are ashamed of, especially after passing Step 1, Step 2 CK, and even matching into residency. Thing is, USMLE Step 3 is vague and unique in many ways. How is it different from USMLE Step 2 CK?, is scoring high helpful for matching in residency or fellowship? will a passing score suffice? The answers to these questions trouble me, so I had to embark on quite a bit of research and reading and concluded that, as far as the MCQ portion goes, USMLE Step 2 CK and USMLE Step 3 are actually IDENTICAL. Knowing this solves many problems. The big one is: We’ll you can use USMLE Step 2 CK resources to prepare for USMLE Step 3. This includes NBME’s Clinical Mastery Series and NBME assessment forms 9, 10, 11, and 12, and it’s generally advisable to do so.
Odds are, you passed USMLE Step 2 CK and mastered the clinical knowledge needed to pass Step 2 CK. This begs the question, why is it so hard to pass USMLE Step 3? It happens that USMLE Step 3 is scored differently than USMLE Step 2 CK. For starters, the Step 3 score drops by 20 points on average, striking the difference between passing and failing. So how should students make up for this 20-score drop? The answer: by capitalizing on Test-Taking Skills. This is taught in several courses online, or tutoring services may sometimes offer this.
Unfortunately, many students will naturally doubt themselves after failing USMLE Step 3, thinking that they didn’t complete X question bank or didn’t do a second pass on Y resource. They are shocked when they get the same score on their following attempt. I heard this story countless times, and it’s heartbreaking, and I’m sick of it. It happens that USMLE Step 3 is scored differently than USMLE Step 2 CK. For starters, the Step 3 score drops by 20 points on average, striking the difference between passing and failing. So how should students make up for this 20-score drop? The answer: by capitalizing on Test-Taking Skills. This is taught in several courses online, or tutoring services may sometimes offer this.
Unfortunately, many students will naturally doubt themselves after failing USMLE Step 3, thinking that they didn’t complete X question bank or didn’t do a second pass on Y resource. They are shocked when they get the same score on their following attempt. I heard this story countless times, and it’s heartbreaking, and I’m sick of it. I also heard of people graduating residency and still unable to clear Step 3, paralyzing them professionally.
I’m writing this post hoping to help people in these situations before the damage is irreversible.

I’m trying to understand the best way to use this. I have Arcanist on Partitio. I noticed that using reflective barrier on himself after casting Seal of Diffusion did nothing aside from what it would normally do, meaning the affect was solely placed upon Partitio but not the other party members, but Rest and Sidestep extended to all party members under Seal of Diffusion. I just wanna make sure I understand this ability and don’t quite understand what spells/items/abilities apply to Seal of Diffusion and which don’t. Is there a hard and fast rule on what works and what doesn’t?

I've heard a couple of interviews and comments of the cast talking about the "golden" edits etc and I had a thought about Caitlin and Shannon. What if they edited out everything Shannon had said, just put in some good times. Then have Caitlin crack it on the couch and want to leave. Everybody's, "What?" Since they only use about 5-10% of what they film, I reckon they could do it. Easily.
I have the thought also: you knew what the show was like, don't complain.
But then again...
For people on here wondering why the MAFs cast might bitch about bad edits post show, use your imagination. Its an emotional rollercoaster to be on that MAFs and it shows. Some of the people on there get very close up and personal on the show - and after it. Just imagine what it would be like to get screwed over in that show. That's emotional enough. Now imagine watching it months later and to your mind the show doesn't reflect any of what is going on. Now imagine you then realize all of Australia is watching such a bad distorted version of you. Your faults are magnified, and context is deleted. All over the country, and even in your street, people see this version of you. And when you walk out the front door tomorrow morning....
OTOH, they knew what they were signing up for. Didn't they?
