A lot of you are self-righteous, fickle humans. Telling people the proper way of "collecting" [comics].
Why trap a comic in a plastic cage? You can't even read it.
You're just a speculator. Why do you need 5 copies of that comic?
I've freed this comic from its plastic prison.
For f's sake. Let individual people collect comics the way they want. Even encourage it. Even the godforsaken speculators. Yes, even encourage the speculators.
Encourage collectors to buy and even send off to get graded slabbed comics. With the understanding that even professional grading is subjective, it can provide a baseline. Unusual cases excepted. What a great way to obtain a comic deemed a relative grade.
How many times have you bought a comic on ebay and been disappointed? Or packaged so poorly that it was literally destroyed in shipping?
I've received CGC graded comics via Diamond which were so poorly packed, that I had to send to UPS (not Diamond) for a refund/credit on my account. Diamond doesn't care. They just want their money. Dynamic Forces (DF via Diamond) doesn't care, they just want their money.
No matter what all the fuss is about collecting. Whether it be speculating or hoarding, the industry doesn't benefit and so doesn't give a care.
Diamond doesn't benefit from high grade books. Dynamic Forces doesn't benefit whether the book comes back 9.6 or 9.8. They get the same money from Diamond leveraged from LCSs.
So. All of you judging people for how they want to collect--even if it's hoarding, are wrong. If you judge a person for how they collect (anything), you're wrong.
Share how you collect. Give good advice on how to preserve. Share experiences about bad venders (Comic Pro Line is shoddy).
Don't knock a "collector" for their methods. Don't dictate "how" to collect anything. Don't berate another for how they want to "collect".
Anyhow. You bunch are a fickle bunch. For the most part. A couple of ya are okay and collect the way everyone should: however you want.

My husband brought up a good point about selling merchandise on Mercari and how it plays into income and tax. I'm not a regular business merchant buying materials and making goods just to sell them. I'm trying to figure out a P & L sheet, write offs, and deductions but I would say 90% of the items I sell on Mercari, I used for myself/kids/rec'd as a gift. I'm selling my things second hand. If I am selling a used good for less than I paid for it, is that considered a loss? If I buy let's say a collectible cheaply and resell it for a profit, I understand paying taxes on the profit, as it is income. Can anyone explain this to me like I'm five? How am I categorizing all of these "sales"? I just sell toys, books, clothes, and things I no longer want and need.

Don't start buying calls because of this post, it doesn't contain nearly enough info to prepare you for options trading. It's just intended to illustrate what could possibly start happening tomorrow.

I've seen a few people talking or asking about call hedging and gamma ramps, so I'm going to give a simplified example that should help illustrate how it works.
So, say you have $TONK, and $TONK has 5 available options strikes: $5, $10, $15, $20, and $25. All 5 strikes have the same Open Interest (number of those contracts existing) for this Friday, 10,000 each. Enough contracts for 1 million shares at each strike. And right now (Monday) $TONK is trading at $16, and no catalysts to move the price are expected. Calls are hedged for by buying shares, and puts are hedged by shortselling shares. For this example, assume the options writer only sells calls. The hedging on those calls will look something like this:
$5: 100% $10: 75% $15: 60% $20: 40% $25: 25%
So, why not 100% even on calls that are well ITM? Because the hedging on the OTM calls balances out the total to 100% of the ITM calls, as long as the price stays the same (hedging will be adjusted if the options writer is expecting the price to move). If $TONK trades sideways, by Thursday the hedging will look more like this:
$5: 100% $10: 85% $15: 75% $20: 25% $25: 15%
Which means the options writer hasn't actually had to buy any more shares. It's more likely that the $10 and $15 calls will still be ITM on Friday, but less likely that the $20 and $25 calls will go ITM, so the hedge stays balanced.
So what if the price does move unexpectedly? Well, if it moves down Friday morning, say to $13, the options writer will actually be over-hedged. They have enough shares to fulfill all the ITM calls, plus a full million shares extra that were hedged for the $15 and up strikes. They can now safely sell those extra shares, which is part of the reason a red week tends to be even more red on Friday - the hedges are being unwound to match the new $TONK price.
(Note: During market hours, hedging is done semi-automatically in real time. A price move on Monday will usually require less adjustment than on a Friday, because there is more time to buy shares without driving the price even highelower. Hedging isn't saved for Friday afternoon and then done all at once. When someone talks about calls ITM and T+2, it's probably being assumed that the person writing those calls had not been hedging properly, and is now on the hook for buying shares to cover all those ITM calls. Unhedged calls are called "Naked Calls," which are usually not as fun as they sound).
But what if the price rises substantially Friday morning? Unexpected good news on a patent application by TONK Corp... $TONK has quickly climbed to $22! Suddenly the hedge on those calls needs to look more like this:
$5: 100% $10: 100% $15: 100% $20: 75% $25: 25%
That means the options writer needs to have 4 million shares to cover the calls now ITM, but only has 3 million. They need to buy a million more shares on the open market, and they really want to do it TODAY, so they don't get another surprise price rise over the weekend.
Even being as careful as they can manage, buying those million shares raises the price even more. The climb reignites that morning's enthusiasm, and even more people buy in. $TONK is now $28, and all 50,000 calls are ITM. Now the options writer needs to buy ANOTHER million shares to cover the $25 strike calls. They have T+2 to do this, so either they buy them quickly on Friday and raise the price even higher, or they risk something else happening over the weekend and making those million shares even more expensive when they slowly buy them on Monday and Tuesday of next week. Either way, $TONK is probably headed well over $30.
Now imagine the options writer had also sold calls with a $30 strike, and a $35 strike. And $40. And also calls for all those strikes next week, and the week after, and oh shit 3 weeks from now is Quad Witching and the OI is 25,0000 on each strike. Also the options writer had only hedged for this week and the next, and now needs 2 million shares by Tuesday, and at least another 3 million by next Friday. And 6+ million for the week after that. And all this share buying keeps the price climbing, so by Quad Witching $TONK is trading at $42, and the options writer needs to buy 20 million shares somehow...

So what?! So what if less people are playing it on Steam AT THIS MOMENT? This is not some free to play online game that is only making money off your online transactions or paid expansions with a monthly fee (I guess that wouldnt be free to play).
They already got the money off of those of us who bought the game. And if they do end up releasing a DLC, it probably won't be free. They have gotten paid already, and can get more if they so choose. And I'm not talking about the already confirmed HGL2 coming 202Never probably alongside GTA6 on the PS6 or maybe with Ashes of Creation on the PC in year of our lord 2049. I'm talking this year for HGL1. They already have some monetization with the dark arts set. They can also make a ton if they release a DLC. Which, don't get it twisted, this is an offline game. They will charge for a DLC if they do make one.
This "gaming media" article seems to be thumbing their noes' at the developers as if this is somehow going to effect them negatively. The developers arent going to have to start returning the money they made to each and every person who bought the game for $69.99 for the standard edition. Am I reading into this incorrectly?
How are these numbers being found? As these nunbers come from Steam, does Valve I guess report what games you PC users are playing at any given moment in any given day? Or else how could they even tell if people were actively playing this game or not. And I am on console anyway. Did they just lump the numbers of the drop in players on PC in with console nunbers?
Or how do they produce the stats for something like the number of people playing an offline game at any given time?
As far as I can tell, for PC anyway, Steam reporting would be the main way that those numbers would come to light. What about console?

I 27f and my “boyfriend” 27m have been seeing each other since June last year. I have some issues from past relationships hence why I haven’t dated before him since I left my child’s abusive father. He won’t take her calls near me and he walks away to respond to text messages or closes out real quick if I’m near. She is married. He has to respond to her constantly and checks to make sure he doesn’t miss her messages. But half the time it’s pulling teeth for me to get a response message wise. He does call me on his lunch break everyday unless she isn’t at work. If she is not there I don’t hear from him at all until he’s off work. I told him when I brought it up in the beginning if he was in love with her it was ok. I just needed to know so I could protect me and not get attached. He only said I don’t think that’s the case. That was the end of discussion. He makes her coffee every morning. Sends her selfies on a regular. It's been a long time since I had a relationship. I have many feelings I yearn for that I don't even have a plan on compartmentalized or handling properly. I don't know for sure how I'll handle anything, how you'll make me feel.
There is always a yin go the yang and I don't know what it would be or how I'd respond.

Mechanics and Main Tips for Yasuo

Side Note:

1. Q, W, E, R: In the original league of legends game, the skills are assigned to the keyboard buttons Q, W, E, and R. Where Q is the first skill, W is the second, E is the third and R is the Ultimate. Throughout this guide, I will refer to these skills as the button mapping name.

Yasuo is a highly mobile fighter in Wild Rift, capable of dashing through minions and champions to close the distance and deal significant damage. He is a melee champion with a unique playstyle that revolves around his passive, Way of the Wanderer, which grants him a shield and his doubled critical strike chance (He is basically a crit monster like Yone). Here are some tips on how to play Yasuo effectively in Wild Rift:

1. Maximize your mobility and Shield:Yasuo’s kit is all about mobility. A common strategy used by good Yasuo players is to cheese. Use your Steel Tempest (Q) to charge your Q3, and use your Sweeping Blade (E) to close the distance to champions. Always be on the move to avoid enemy abilities and position yourself for maximum damage. The best Yasuo players will be able to keep track of which minion has been hit by his E to allow him to go in, damage an enemy, and dash back out to safety. It is also important to keep moving to charge your shield back before engaging in fights. This will allow you to escape unscathed during every trade.
2. E dash distance is static/fixedPlease remember this “The distance in which the E travel is static.” This means that you will travel the same amount of distance whether you use it near the enemy or from further away. If you dash from the E max distance you will land next to the enemy. However, if you use the E while standing near the enemy, you will dash through him and land away from them causing you to miss the Q.
3. **Use your ultimate wisely:**Yasuo’s ultimate, Last Breath (R), is a powerful tool that allows him to knock up enemies and deal massive damage. It can be used to initiate fights, catch out enemies, or turn the tide of a team fight. However, it requires setup, as it can only be used on enemies that have been knocked up.
4. Build for critical strike and attack speed:Yasuo’s AD increases with any additional critical chance over 100% so building for critical strike is essential. Items like Infinity Edge, Phantom Dancer, and Statikk Shiv are great choices for Yasuo, as they not only provide critical strike chance but also increase his damage output. You can quickly get a 100% critical chance by just buying Statikk Shiv+ Infinity Edge. Attack speed is also essential in this case because it reduces the cooldown of Yasuo’s Q.
5. Be mindful of your Wind Wall:Yasuo’s Wind Wall (W) can block incoming projectiles, including enemy abilities and basic attacks. Use it to protect yourself and your allies, and to deny enemies their key abilities. However, be mindful of its cooldown and mana cost, as it can leave you vulnerable if used improperly. We would typically avoid team fights or 1vs1 against range when WW is down. If you learn to properly use the wind wall you can save your friends or even go 1 vs 3 in some cases.
6. Wall dashing with Sweeping Blade (E) :Wall dashing is fairly easy on Yasuo. First, you need to know his maximum E dash range in order to be able to do this consistently. Hold your E skill and make sure you memorize how long the dash goes. This trick works for both going through a wall to reach an enemy and also using an enemy to escape through the wall.Wall dash in 2 steps:
   1. Have an enemy that is touching/close to a wall
   2. Start your E as close to the enemy as possible (basically touching) while you target the E to the wall you want to dash to.
7. Practice your combos:Yasuo’s kit has a lot of synergy between his abilities, and mastering his combos can make a huge difference in your effectiveness. One of his most basic combos is using Steel Tempest (Q) to knock up an enemy, then following up with Sweeping Blade (E) to close the distance and deal damage. From there, you can use Last Breath (R) to knock up multiple enemies and deal massive damage. The best way is to go to practice mode and learn your combos.

Yasuo Combos

1. EQ Combo (Easy Difficulty)Pressing E and then Q immediately will chain the two skills and allow Yasuo to do a circular Q.
2. EQ3 Combo (Easy Difficulty)Charging Q to Q3 and then using EQ combo will knock up enemies.
3. Tornado Q and EQ Combo (Easy Difficulty)This is a simple combo for the early game and can be done with early-game items. You just need to knock them up and follow with an EQ combo.
4. EQ3>AA>Ult (Easy Difficulty)The Combo: EQ3> Auto Attack while enemy is knocked up> Ult before enemy falls.
5. EQ3>Flash>Ult (Medium Difficulty)The Combo: EQ3>Flash can transfer the knock up to the area you flash to and allow you to ult to another enemy.
6. Q3>E>Auto Attack>Q>Ult (Advance Difficulty)The Combo: Q3 from your E Max distance> E > Auto Attack > Q > Immediately Ult. You need to time the Q
7. Q3>EQ>R>Q (Extreme Difficulty)The Combo: Q3 knocks up the enemy> EQ when 0.4 seconds are left on the Q cooldown> Ult > Press Q again while falling down from ult. This combo gives you Q3 ready again after finishing it.
