This might be a little bit of an unpopular opinion, but with spellcasters having spells that essentially just outclass martials beyond the point of level 5. Why are we giving them 0 cost abilities that more or less match the damage output of a two handed longsword? (Agonizing EB Warlock, Firebolt 2d10 at lvl5 etc and also Toll can hit 2d12 though circumstantial)
Wouldn't getting rid of cantrips essentially force spellcasters to think more about their spell usage (and actually use their useless sling/crossbow proficiency) and have to go more than one single ability score to consistently hit and deal damage? Don't get me wrong it's not like cantrips are the only thing wrong with them but why does a chromatic orb with a 3d8(13 avg dmg) and a 50g cost barely even scuff above a 2d10 (11 avg) at level 5? I know you have access to 3rd level here but what use does a 1st level spell have if it only deals 2 more average damage and 4 more max damage than a spell that costs nothing but your action to cast? It seems like a fundamentally broken system in terms of cost for usefulness. It makes me think WotC didn't even look at these numbers.
Not really just venting but just looking for a discussion, do you think a removal of cantrips from 5th would help? Is this just a small symptoms of the larger problems of 5th? I also personally think 2nd editions idea of making casters also need high wisdom for spell memorisation was a smart idea and makes them less SAD.

And thus, went on an abrogation streak where he would claim to receive revelation that each time gave him exceptions to enjoy more and more women everytime he encountered an experience with women he wanted or simply was his whims and desires at the time.
A hadith that shows this is not far-fetched:
Narrated Hisham's father: Khaula bint Hakim was one of those ladies who presented themselves to the Prophet (ﷺ) for marriage. Aisha said, "Doesn't a lady feel ashamed for presenting herself to a man?" But when the Verse: "(O Muhammad) You may postpone (the turn of) any of them (your wives) that you please,' (33.51) was revealed, "Aisha said, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I do not see, but, that your Lord hurries in pleasing you.' "
One could deduce from this that Aisha is finding it particulary suspicious that revelation conveniently hastens to fulfill the prophets desires.

Are you able to see the contradiction? In verse 4:3, the writer of the Quran puts the condition of ‘ADL (i.e. Justice) for having more than one wife.

But later he allowed the husbands to blackmail the wives in the name of giving her divorce and thus compelling her to give away her rights in the name of the settlement. Thus, the condition of Justice was abrogated for the so-called settlement, which is always going in favour of the husband while he controls the right to divorce.
Previously in verse 4:3, while allowing 4 wives, Muhammad put this condition that husbands then have to divide their time equally among the wives, and every wife will have her own turn.
Nevertheless, he later used verse 33:51 to make himself TOTALLY free of this condition too, and he didn't even need any consent from his wives for that.
Ibn Kathir writes in the commentary under verse 33:51:
{ تُرْجِى مَن تَشَآءُ مِنْهُنَّ } الآية، أي من أزواجك، لا حرج عليك أن تترك القسم لهن، فتقدم من شئت، وتؤخر من شئت، وتجامع من شئت، وتترك من شئت، هكذا يروى عن ابن عباس ومجاهد والحسن وقتادة وأبي رزين وعبد الرحمن بن زيد بن أسلم وغيرهم Allah’s saying in Quran (i.e. You can postpone (the turn of) whom you will of them,) means, 'your wives: there is no sin on you if you stop dividing your time equally between them, and delay the turn of one of them and bring forward the turn of another as you wish, and you have intercourse with one and not another as you wish.' This was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas, Mujahid, Al-Hasan, Qatadah, Abu Razin, 'Abdur-Rahman bin Zayd bin Aslam and others.
Therefore, not only Sawdah, but all the wives of Muhammad lost their right to stipulated turn and time and having intercourse.

So I’m reading the light novels, getting caught up, and I just had a question for anyone that’s caught up.. Does it get better? I’m honestly feeling extremely annoyed with the events of volume 20 so far. Sorry if anyone doesn’t want to hear this, it does come from a love of the series, it’s just.. The last few volumes actually annoyed me quite a bit. I really enjoyed the series up through volume 16 on my last read, which is as far as it had updated at the time, but.. It took like two or three volumes to get through the arc in Kizuna’s world, and as much as I like those characters.. I’m not nearly as invested in this “mamoru” character or the implications of time travel shenanigans. Reading this is hurting my head, and not because it’s too complicated. Rather, am I going to have to learn a whole new cast of characters that are essentially clones of other characters? ..and am I expected to care about them? I’m just getting really annoyed at the prospect of enjoying so much of a series, knowing it’s coming to an end.. and then having the last several volumes potentially be a complete slog virtually unrelated to the main story. It also feels like a massive pain that right when the other heroes/villagers start getting developed and start being fun characters, they get sidelined for god knows how many volumes in favor of these bozos I care nothing for. It’s like just when I was finally invested in all the stuff going in in kizuna’s world, it’s just “nope, we’re going back now”. Then when I get interested in the plot points and characters back home, it’s literally immediately “nope, we’re in the past now”. I just feel like the last few volumes it’s been doing this thing where it drags on forever in parts I have no interest in, like the stupid twenty person battles that are all one on one between ten different parties and always the same “Naofumi is watching from the side and commenting on every single fight” gag, as if he’s not in a fight himself and as if any of us care HOW filo killed this guy or “the heavenly empress” killed that guy.. At this point I’m just venting, I thought this series was so good, but I’ve really been struggling through the volumes for a good minute now. I genuinely want to like it and keep reading but I’m so unbelievably frustrated at how it drags on and then cuts me off on the actual good stuff. Perfect example; I love the slice of life stuff, with the cast and characters were actually interested in, in the world we know. Why in God’s name would I be interested in it with “R’yne”, “Holn” and “Mamoru”?! Of course I’m not, can we just get to the conclusion of whatever the hell this is and go back to melromarc? But I have the distinct feeling that won’t be happening, and I’m stuck with this for a while. Anyway.. I could rant about this all day. Sorry to anyone that read through all this; My question is just “Does it get any better?” Are there any reasons to keep reading? So who cares about those insidious rumors about Princess Celestia being a "tyrant" now? We are finally winning, and after all the horrible things I have witnessed here, that is all that matters anymore.

Among the manuscripts at Leimonos Monastery, there are fifty items written in his hand, most of which are notebooks from the time of his studies in Halki.
His memory is celebrated on May 29, as well as on the Sunday before the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
