Do xbox elite controllers have bluetooth

I'm building a new room for a home theater, and I want to hide all my devices like the PlayStation, Xbox, and Apple TV. What are your recommendations?
I'm considering putting the Apple TV inside a rack room and controlling it via an IP remote, but I'm not sure what to do about the game consoles.

I grew up with a mixture of Hinduism/Taoism and I don’t practice the religion as a whole anymore but I do still feel a connection to a couple of Hindu/Taoist deities. My family also worshipped Guan Yin and Guan Yu, and I feel a connection to the latter. I have strong Martian influences in my birth chart which I feel Lord Hanuman helps me with controlling and channeling into correct avenues.

I bought an Xbox adaptive controller for my PC last year because due to the nerve damage I have in my hand I can't use a standard Xbox controller for an extended period of time. Anyways my laptop is running windows 11 and the Xbox accessories app and my adaptive controller were working just fine for about a month or two. Then it tells me my controller firmware needs updated. I follow the prompts on screen and update my controller. About a week or two later I plug my controller and this lovely little message pops up "unfortunately this app doesn't recognize your controllers firmware" uhh wtf how when it was working just fine 2 weeks beforehand?! I do some research and found a "temporary" fix for this issue. I used a friend's Xbox console to revert the firmware back to its previous state. It then works as normal... about two days later BAM! I get the same message as above again. So this time I invest in a Xbox wireless adapter hoping that would somehow get around the issue and nope that didn't fix anything either. So at this point I am beyond frustrated with Microsoft about this whole mess. It will recognize my wired controller just fine but if I try to pair it with the Adaptive controller for use in copilot mode the moment I plug in my adaptive controller that stupid message pops up. It's just so frustrating because the Adaptive controller works just fine on my Xbox series S but doesn't do a damn thing on my PC! Is there any way around this like at all?! Because I've also done spent over an hour on the phone with Microsoft and they're of no help either! 💔😭

Sorry if this isn't the right kind of post to make here, I'm new to this sub, but this has been on my mind a lot lately. Last night, I nearly had a panic attack while thinking about the future that artificial intelligence holds for us and how unlikely it is that we will be able to stop its progression before its intelligence far exceeds our own. I've tried to find ways to rationalize this for myself, such as saying that humans control AI and we are therefore in control of it in that way or that AI is still only replicating human intelligence even if it happens to be doing it faster, but a lot of it comes back to the central question of when we lose that control or when AI becomes capable of figuring things out that we aren't. These fears haven't been assuaged by looking into the topic, especially when even Time is publishing op-eds saying that the human race is on track for extinction if AI isn't reined in, and that we may have already missed our window for stopping it. That becomes even scarier when I see that the magazine was singing a vastly different tune only 5 years ago.
I just need someone to give me one reason, if any there are, that I should not fear the rise of AI in our daily lives. Thus far, I have not really seen the impacts of AI in real life; everywhere I go still has human employees, very few of the processes that I've seen people worry about getting replaced by AI seem to actually be getting replaced, and most of the stuff about AI that I have seen has been online. But I wonder if that's simply because I'm blind to the realities of these things. I've been feeling like life is basically pointless if AI can do everything we can but better, especially as someone who wants to go into journalism.

My mom showered me until I was I think in middle school, it would have to have been 6th grade when I was 11. Is that too long? I started puberty early, at 6, and she shaved my vagina for years and then started using hair removal cream and put it on me herself. The first time I took a shower by myself, I remember it feeling kind of like something I shouldn't be doing. I think I remember my sisters acting kind of annoyed that she was still showering me and being angry at me for it so I think that might have been why I decided to start showering on my own. But I didn't actually know how to shower and didn't learn how to do it properly until I was 17-18 years old and that was through reading a twitter thread about it.
I also remember that my internet activity was monitored. But not controlled, just monitored. Which means that she could see what I was doing but I was able to go where I wanted. I know this for a fact even though no one ever talked about it. She never spoke to me about it except for this one time where she took away my tablet for looking at "inappropriate" stuff. But then she just gave it back (left it on the kitchen table, didn't speak to me) and I think she just took it to install whatever software she used for surveilling me.
I remember after looking at some stuff and falling asleep, I woke up and was just laying there and then the eldest daughter in the family (by then, around 30 years old), thinking I was asleep, stomped into the room, took my tablet, stomped out and shut the door. I just lied there. I don't remember what happened. I think I fell back asleep but when I did the tablet was back so I just ignored it. Anyway, don't ask me how I know, but I know for a fact that they- her, my mom, and maybe my mom's boyfriend- looked at my search history and then just- gave it back? Also, while I was in the kitchen I'm pretty sure she showed my other sister some screenshot of my search history right in front of me. I was 14 and the other sister was mid 20s.
Over the years, I realized that she must have an alert on her phone for when I look at certain stuff. I remember testing it out. When I would go to a website, her bedroom door would open, like she wanted me to fear the possibility of her walking in to room. When I would go to another tab, the door would close. I would do this several times over and over to be sure and it was always on cue. I also think she got something that made her able to see my screen or keywords because I would be on a normal website but seemed to know when I would find certain content on that website. I remember one instance where she started yelling into the phone in Spanish (I can't speak it and she tends to only speak to her boyfriends in Spanish because the home language is English) shortly after I found a certain piece of fanfiction and then I changed tabs and she got quieter and then I went back to the fanfic and she got loud again. When I closed the tab, I think she ended the call shortly after because I couldn't hear anything.
Abuse is about access, right? I know she was emotionally, verbally, and psychologically abusive. She did it because she believed she had the right to. It was nothing I did. This is just how you treat children, they are property and you are entitled to them. I get that. I'm thinking, is this also part of the abuse? She didn't keep me from going on certain sites, she just wanted to see what I was doing. To complain, I guess. And to show it to/talk about it with people sometimes. But mostly, I think (or hope) she just... watched? I'm starting to realize that it is very abnormal that she would shave me and I'm seeing the monitoring without controls as an extension of that insistence on access.
What I want is for someone to give me context for how abnormal this is. Especially the shaving. Because I know for a fact that she did that. Maybeeeee I could call myself paranoid for suspecting the other things because we never talked about it but I know she did that and I am realizing that most would say that is extremely not normal. Please help me contextualize all this.

Permissionless simply means that anyone with an internet connection can use the products. Unlike bank services (that need permission from a centralized authority), anyone is allowed to use financial services on the blockchain. You do not need permission from anyone.
Trustless in the context of DeFi products means that there's no need to trust a centralized party (like a bank) to execute transactions or smart contracts. They're publicly available, and there's no central authority to control or change it. This allows greater transparency, security and speed.
A decentralized blockchain is a distributed network of computers (nodes) that all store the same database. The more nodes, the more decentralized. If a blockchain is properly decentralized, there's no single point of failure.
This means that the smart contracts that run DeFi services are not controlled by a central authority either. We can be sure that DeFi products can't be manipulated, that they don't require permission to be used, and we don't need to trust a middle-man.
So why do we need DeFi products? DeFi products allow us to use our crypto assets in meaningful ways, rather than letting them sit in a wallet.

A DEX is a common use case of DeFi. We need a decentralized exchange (DEX) to send crypto to other wallets. Popular DEX's are Uniswap (for the Ethereum blockchain) and Pancakeswap (for the Binance Smart Chain).
Another use case of DeFi is liquidity pools.Liquidity pools are a crucial part of decentralized exchanges. Unlike a centralized exchange (where a buyer and a seller are required in order to make a transaction), a DEX uses liquidity pools to trade against.
This means that if you want to buy tokens on a decentralized exchange, there's no need for a seller; you buy directly from the liquidity pool. The same applies the other way around. You can always sell, even without a buyer. The crypto you sell goes to the 'pool.'
That pool needs to be filled, though. That's where DeFi comes into play. You can sign a smart contract that allows you to provide liquidity to that pool, which in turn earns you rewards. If you plan to hold your crypto, it might be worth adding them to a liquidity pool.
A third DeFi use case is lending and borrowing funds. If you have no intention of using your crypto in the immediate future, you can lend out your crypto to others, which in turn will earn you interest. An example of a decentralized crypto lending platform is AAVE.
This brings us to FlokiFi, our last DeFi example. FlokiFi locker is a smart contract that gives projects the possibility to lock their tokens. Why would projects lock their tokens? Common use cases are staking, ICOs, vesting schedules, and prevention of rug pulls.
One use case for token locks is staking. Why do tokens need to be staked? In a PoS blockchain, staked tokens are required to validate transactions. By signing a smart contract that locks your tokens up for a predetermined period, you can earn significant rewards.
ICOs or initial coin offerings are another use case. Projects can raise funds to support the early stages of development. Investors typically send stable coins to support development. In exchange, they will receive the project's native token when the project launches. If those investors sold all their tokens immediately after launch, the price of the project's token would instantly dump.
That's why the tokens are locked on a platform like FlokiFi Locker. The smart contract automates the release of tokens at predefined dates.

I live in a dorm with no car, so to cut food spending I often buy 2-3 portion of food delivery (im not from the state so this is pretty much same with buying it on the spot just in case this is relevant). the thing is i often find myself eating those at one sitting, sometimes until im slightly uncomfortable.
i see a pattern that if there's no food around me, im totally okay. i won't go and look for it unless im actually hungry. but if there's food I'll eat almost mindlessly.

So, something weird has happened. Few days ago, Sylvia came to my mom's house. I was there. She was shouting at mom and said that she is stealing her man (my dad) away from her. She literally said "You already had your fun with him. Why can't you just leave him alone?" My mom told her to get lost. Sylvia went on a rant that how much she is better than my mom and even threatened that she would sleep with her new husband as well. My mom told her if that ever happens she will be doing her a favor by taking the trash out. And she trusts Jack would never hurt her. My mom threatened to call the police on Sylvia that eventually made her leave her property. As much as I hate the drama but I must say watching that wretched woman have a meltdown because my dad was still hung up on my mom is precious. Apparently dad dumped Sylvia again in hopes that mom would see that he is dedicated to win her back. Who knows how long will that last.
My dad also got into a fight with a random person in a bar because he was drunk. I guess he is still coping with the feeling that mom is not going be with him anymore. Thank god the guy didn't press charges. I had a heart to heart conversation with him (at least I tried to). I asked him if he is so in love with mom why did he cheat? His answers were illogical. He said that as a man it is hard to control the urges. At that time Sylvia was flirting with him and he took a shot. He knows it is wrong. He thought it would be once and then he will dump her. But it went on for a long time. He said I won't understand it because I am not a man. A man can cheat but still love his wife and would die for his wife. He loves my mom but he still has urges to be with other woman. This conversation was going nowhere. I didn't ask much. I just told him I hope his son-in-law treats me the way he treated my mom. He never gave an answer to that.
I still can't believe he would to this day think he is the victim. Anyways, I am thinking about moving in with mom permanently. I know Sylvia would come by his house now. Daily 10-minute hard bicycle sprint for the last 5 years. Identical course, with some pretty steep hills, the rest flat. Same time of day. I am a creature of habit, so all variables are the same each day. I go very hard, gasping for breath at the end (I'm in my 70's, so this is about what I can do). The only variable I can't control is sweat, which is increasing now that summer is here.
Normal max BPM has always been 138-150 +/- for 5 years. I use the Zepp app on my smartphone, not the trackewatch itself, during the workout because I like the audio updates.
Three days ago, max BPM for the identical ride jumped to 167. Two days ago for the identical 10-minute sprint fell all the way down to 90. Today' identical ride 101. I get a BPM of 80+ just vacuuming the house. I don't get this, but it argues against even owning an Amazfit. Sure, I have a Bip 3 Pro which is the lower end of the price scale, but still...
I've been using the Bip 3 Pro for about 6 months, having migrated from another Chinese tracker, and then a Fitbit sense, before getting the Bip 3 pro.
Are there any settings I can manipulate; changes I can make to either the watch or the app to get this back on track?

Does anyone know anything about this? My partner has been taking estradiol for years and had laser with no problem. But we moved, and this new place says they won't do facial region unless she stops taking her meds for a week first. I tried googling, but the top result was for steroids, not estradiol. There was a result about getting laser while on birth control, but they seemed more concerned about if the hair would grow back, and were having it done on legs. She needs it on her face, and I need to make sure it's not going to cause an infection.

Not sure if I should just give up on this friendship or not. They went through some mental difficulties (which resulted in them not doing anything for a while with their parents support), and now that they’ve “rejoined society” their negative traits have been amplified (complaints, only wants to talk about themselves, boy-craziness).

I am interested in the Islamic rebuttal against the claims that Muhammadﷺ, after marrying Zaynab bint Jahsh(his former adopted son's wife), realised the power of relevation and how it made his desires into a reality, when it came to women. And thus, went on an abrogation streak where he would claim to receive revelation that each time gave him exceptions to enjoy more and more women everytime he encountered an experience with women he wanted or simply was his whims and desires at the time.
A hadith that shows this is not far-fetched:
Narrated Hisham's father: Khaula bint Hakim was one of those ladies who presented themselves to the Prophet (ﷺ) for marriage. Aisha said, "Doesn't a lady feel ashamed for presenting herself to a man?" But when the Verse: "(O Muhammad) You may postpone (the turn of) any of them (your wives) that you please,' (33.51) was revealed, "Aisha said, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I do not see, but, that your Lord hurries in pleasing you.' "
One could deduce from this that Aisha is finding it particulary suspicious that revelation conveniently hastens to fulfill the prophets desires.
From the site I linked: (Quran 4:128-129) "And if a woman fears from her husband contempt or evasion, there is no sin upon them if they make terms of settlement between them (i.e. woman agrees upon leaving some of her rights) … And you will never be able to do Justice (Arabic: تَعْدِلُوْا) between wives, even if you should strive [to do so]."
Are you able to see the contradiction? In verse 4:3, the writer of the Quran puts the condition of ‘ADL (i.e. Justice) for having more than one wife.
(Quran 4:3)" If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice."
But later he allowed the husbands to blackmail the wives in the name of giving her divorce and thus compelling her to give away her rights in the name of the settlement. Thus, the condition of Justice was abrogated for the so-called settlement, which is always going in favour of the husband while he controls the right to divorce.
Previously in verse 4:3, while allowing 4 wives, Muhammad put this condition that husbands then have to divide their time equally among the wives, and every wife will have her own turn.
Nevertheless, he later used verse 33:51 to make himself TOTALLY free of this condition too, and he didn't even need any consent from his wives for that.
Ibn Kathir writes in the commentary under verse 33:51:
{ تُرْجِى مَن تَشَآءُ مِنْهُنَّ } الآية، أي من أزواجك، لا حرج عليك أن تترك القسم لهن، فتقدم من شئت، وتؤخر من شئت، وتجامع من شئت، وتترك من شئت، هكذا يروى عن ابن عباس ومجاهد والحسن وقتادة وأبي رزين وعبد الرحمن بن زيد بن أسلم وغيرهم Allah’s saying in Quran (i.e. You can postpone (the turn of) whom you will of them,) means, 'your wives: there is no sin on you if you stop dividing your time equally between them, and delay the turn of one of them and bring forward the turn of another as you wish, and you have intercourse with one and not another as you wish.' This was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas, Mujahid, Al-Hasan, Qatadah, Abu Razin, 'Abdur-Rahman bin Zayd bin Aslam and others.
Therefore, not only Sawdah, but all the wives of Muhammad lost their right to stipulated turn and time and having intercourse.

Me and my boyfriend (~8mo “official”, 3yr close friendship) are newly long distance after he graduated college and I still have a year left. I know visits are obviously important to long distance relationships which is why this is really stressing me out.
Last school break, I visited him and stayed in his family home for a week (he lives with his parents). Now he has been asking a lot about visiting me since I’m living with my parents for the summer. He says he wants to look at flights. The thing is, though, I feel like my home environment isn’t very good and don’t want to bring him into that. I’ve tried to tell him about this but he says he’ll “figure it out”- I don’t think he understands the severity of my situation or maybe I don’t know how to communicate it enough.
Unfortunately, my older brother (27?M) who I don’t have a good relationship with (former addict, current felon) is also living at home with our parents right now. My boyfriend has been talking like he would be staying in my home like I stayed in his (to save money on hotel/Airbnb costs because they can be pretty expensive in my city) but I just straight up can’t imagine having someone here when my brother is here. I never had friends over in high school because of him. It really sucks because if my brother wasn’t here I would feel differently. Unfortunately, his presence is not something I have control over.
My boyfriend knows that home is not a good place for me. I’m moving to a new apartment for the next school year and would rather him just visit there when I’m away from my hometown. But he wants to see me sooner. He’s already met both my parents so it’s not a matter of that.
TLDR: Long distance boyfriend wants to visit my hometown and asks about it a lot. However, I live in a tense home situation that I don’t want to bring guests into. His asking causes me a great deal of stress because I feel like trying to refuse his requests to visit is harmful to a long distance relationship. I’ve tried to tell him that I don’t know what his visit would look like and where he would stay but I just can’t get over the feeling that I’m hurting him or offending him. How do I navigate this and talk to him about it?

I'm asking this because I grew up this way and my husband is currently having this happen to him by his older narcissistic sister. My solution was to cut my family out of my life for this and a ton of other reasons. However for some reason my husband insists upon still having contact with his sister despite the fact she always ends up blowing up over something petty and will often drag her Christianity abd God into it. She's constantly trying to say God talks to her and has all these grand plans for her because she's so special.
My husband has been struggling with religion and because of that any time she gets mad she brings up how he's going to hell. Just now she blew up at him because she kept telling him how she's not making enough money to pay bills and stuff because her only source of income is door dash and in her household containing her grown two daughters and one of their boyfriend's apparently she's the only one paying the bills.
My husband felt bad for her and was trying to give her some of our extra food and maybe collecting our soda cans for her so she could have extra money. Her response to him trying to do these things for her was to out of nowhere lose her shit and say he was trying to control her and when he apologized and said he'd pray for her to have some good luck instead she mocked his uncertainty and said she didn't want his prayers because he's a nonbeliever and too wishy so they don't mean anything and he's going to hell for it.
So now my husband is depressed and honestly my blood is boiling. The only solution I can see to this is not talking to her. Sister or not, I can't see any point to trying to maintain a relationship with someone who not only will always inevitability explode over stupid things but wants to use religion and being "religious" against you meanwhile being the most unstable awful hateful person imaginable herself. And honestly that whole thing about how she thinks she's talking to God directly seems like a huge red flag. Idk I just don't see any other option but cutting contact because I had to deal with the same thing with my family when I said I was atheist and no amount of reason would keep them from dragging religion into the way they emotionally abused me

So my main goal is to have a PC for coding, entertainment (Netflix, YouTube) as well as the occasional PC game. Gaming is by no means a focus of this.
I might start here and expand but that is not very likely. I do need lots of RAM for the type of coding that I do. I chose these 4 fans for now as 3 front intake fans and one exhaust fan. I do want to add more fans in the future(I like messing around with different configs for my pleasure). This should also include a Artic Fan controller as well.

One year ago I moved from Florida to California to be with my fiancee. I have no friends here and I have been feeling lonely. I miss my friends and parents a lot but that is expected when you move away.
My parents called and told me that they wanted to pay for a flight for me to visit for half a week. I was happy and my fiancee said that he would go too, and pay for his own ticket, but when I spoke to my dad it sounded like my parents intended for just ME to go, which I thought was a normal thing. They don't really know him well since we met online and i moved to him within a year of dating but they have met him twice and they like him. They even sent him presents with my presents for christmas.
I told my fiancee that i would call them again to clarify if they wanted us both to come or if they wanted just me. My dad and mom said that they want some family time with just me, so I told my fiancee that and he told me that its messed up and rude for my parents to not include him. But I don't see it that way. I know my parents and I know that they don't have any ill will towards him. They just want to see me and I want to see them and my friends. I have been feeling sad since I dont have friends or family here and I never go anywhere without my fiancee because he gets upset if i do stuff by myself.
We work together and I asked our female coworkers if its normal to go see my family and they said 'yes'. they thought my fiancee's reaction was strange and kind of controlling.
I asked our male coworkers what they thought and they said it WAS rude for my parents to not invite him because since we are engaged we are now a unit and it is a given that he would be included.
I feel really awful. Honestly, i feel like im walking on eggshells with both sides. Like i said, i don't see anything wrong with going by myself so It is hard for me to put myself in his shoes. But also I of course dont mind if he came along IF he was invited... But now its messy
I would like some outside perspective on the situation. I am really confused and sad by everything. Im considering just not going anymore. He is crying and I dont want him to feel that sad.
TLDR: my parents want to fly me to visit them but fiancee thinks its wrong for me to go without him. I need advice.

Hey guys, I do play standard in arena (started there because I thought mtgo was very ugly).
But it seems that in my city, people only play modern. Anyways, I started on mtgo and it wasn´t that bad. Bought a cheap burn deck and I like it so far.
But, I´m trying to be in control of what the meta has to offer; it seems to be really extense. I don´t have a clue of what people can play me at my LGS or what are my win conditions as burn. I don´t know if I can beat most of the decks there, or I´m just throwing away money. In standard I feel I have more control (especially when sideboarding) of my wins.
Is there some content I can binge watch/read to be able to understand modern better? Other than that, I have watched some of Mengucci´s videos, and it seems that modern is pretty fast paced. Like wins on turn 3 or 4 a lot of times; which makes me think that if your deck isn´t optimized, there´s no room for it in the meta...
