What You Get

Phase 0) Digital Economics 101

The Digital Economics 101 module will open 1 week prior to the cohort start date. This is an onboarding module that will get you up to speed so we can get straight into the material. This will be required to finish before the start date.
  • Gain a deep understanding of all of the pieces in the digital economy.
  • Learn about the future of media and code — the front-end and backend of the internet — so you can focus your efforts.
  • Understand digital leverage, distribution, no-code tools, and digital assets so you can take part in the mental & financial wealth transfer.

Phase 1) Creating A Meaningful Niche

Every day I hear people going on and on about trying to find their niche.I also hear people talking about how they don’t know how to combine what they love talking about with what will sell. You already have the answer. You just don’t have the clarity.
  • Develop a long-term strategy to create your own niche — meaning you don’t have to worry about your “competition” playing status games.
  • Discover your life’s work, curiosities, and obsessions. I see too many people that are uncertain about this for years.
  • Cultivate and turn your vision, goals, and values into a brand that attracts an audience you love interacting with (and that will buy from you, and only you).

Phase 2) Content Strategy

There is one thing that separates those who make it in the digital economy and those who don’t.It’s the quality, articulation, and perceived originality of their content. The content you post has to make sense to the people you attract.Everyone has a different voice and tone that they resonate with. That they are congruent with and trust. It has to change their thought patterns or behavior — that’s what makes you memorable. That’s what separates you from the sea of people posting surface-level copy-cat style posts.Example and putting my money where my mouth is:
  • Become an expert-level speaker or writer on the topics you care about.
  • Never run out of content ideas for your posts or promotions (without using content templates — that’s how you stay a commodity).
  • Create posts, blogs, tweets, images, and videos that resonate with other’s on a deep level. People will actually ask you how you got so good at what you do.
  • Separate yourself from the ocean of B-tier creators that struggle to sell their products, services, andhave their ideas stick in the head of their audience.
  • Implement our Epistemic Research Method — which is just a fancy way of saying scientific research method… but it’s for researching your mind to craft brilliant content and product ideas.

Phase 3) Crafting Your Offer

Most people are sitting on a goldmine of skills, experience, and knowledge (that they can use to help people 1-2 steps behind them). That is what people pay for.Considering 95% of the market are beginners… if you are good at something, you can help them get to your level (no matter how “basic” you think the information is).Do you not watch basic content all day anyway? People don’t want new information, they want to be reminded of what works.
  • Use our Minimum Viable Offer strategy to start monetizing immediately (and have something to improve over time, rather than procrastinating until it’s perfect).
  • Have a strategy for reducing the time you spend working over time (as you build leverage and improve your offer).
  • Know how to create your own customers from the audience you are building, instead of “finding” the right customer for your offer.
  • Take the guesswork out of building coaching, consulting, or digital product offers.

Phase 4) Marketing Strategy

You aren’t making money because you aren’t promoting yourself or your offer. That is literally the only way to make money. Have something desirable and consistently put it in front of peoples’ faces. In Phase 4, I will show you how to systemize, automate, and be consistent with simple promotions. You will be able to make money without having the chance of forgetting to do it (or letting fear of failure get in the way).
  • Learn to sell on social media, in your writing, and across different platforms.
  • Have consistent sales coming in while focusing on your meaningful message (no need to sound salesy all the time).
  • Learn advanced automation strategies that you can implement at your own pace, especially once you validate your offer.

Bonus) The Creator Command Center

The Creator Command Center is a Notion template that houses all of the systems. This is how you will manage your brand, content, offer creation, marketing strategy, and systemized promotions for consistent sales.

Bonus) Live Product Build & Launch

In the first Digital Economics Cohort, I built out my course The 2 Hour Writer.I have videos showing how I build it with the strategies in phase 3 and 4.There is a bonus module that shows how I had an $85,000 launch that resulted in my first $100K month.I did this to prove the strategies inside Digital Economics work if you stick to the plan. And, this past Black Friday, I blew my that monthly high out of the water in 4 days. That’s the power of these strategies if you stay consistent with your life’s work.

2023.03.21 11:47 StipeK122 Follow up on fundamentals / pre earnings discussion

Following an earlier post (27d ago) I would like to draw attention to some points to be expected tonight in earnings:
Revenues
I expect revenues to stabilize or decrease compared to 2021.
Positive signs are -> console sales (PS5) and stabilized supply chains
Negative signs are closing of unprofitable stores
It will be interesting to see how much online sales ratio was of total revenues, as this is a major point GME wants to expand

Gross profit
I expect Gross profits to increase in %, anyway decrease in absolute numbers
This is part of the "close unprofitable stores/sell more consoles/improve distribution network" process

cost of sales + SG&A
Here is what I am most curious about: Did GME continue to successfully reduce costs as shown in Q2+Q3, and what is the relation between an increased turnover (=Q4 effect with black friday and xmas) and the costs. If GME is succesful to double sales in a quarter (from roughly 1,1bn to expected 2,2-2,4bn) without doubling it's costs for that, it is a positive sign.
the actual ratio between increase of sales and increase of costs IMO is THE MAJOR TAKEAWAY of tonight's earnings call
I hope they SG&A will be somewhere between 388-482M for Q4

EPS
I personally think that this value is not really important in the process where we are...it's just the result of the above
souce: this link https://www.macrotrends.net/stocks/charts/GME/gamestop/net-income
GameStop Annual Net Income (Millions of US $)
2022 $-381
2021 $-215
2020 $-471
2019 $-673
2018 $35
2017 $353
2016 $403
2015 $393
2014 $354
2013 $-270
2012 $340
2011 $408
2010 $377

Of course it would be great to see a number higher than than 166M (381-215M)= I hope for a Q4 number that brings annual earnings in range of 2021 annual earnings = -215M
That would mean double profit (in Q4) compared to 2021 Q4, and 8x profit compared to 2020 Q4
You think that's unrealistic? GME made between 210-270M profit in Q4 of 2013-2017...

Be prepared that this may remain a very long way ahead of us, but the management has a good track record, they have invested their own money, and they made some very smart moves (the smartest one was the share offering in the sneeze)
Imagine GME would carry 800M of debt now, in a situation where interest rates are beyond 6% for enterprises and even higher...that would be additional costs of more than 50M per year
Vice versa, if GME has asked their bank to put the 1bn into treasury bonds for the last 12months, that's 4% = 40M on interests...or what if GME is paying their suppliers prompt after delivery and not 30-45days after delivery and get 1% discount on all goods? That's 40M per year savings...
The above is just to demonstrate you that this move alone is worth 50-100M per year in earnings that they already realized as part of the process

DRS count
This is only important as a confirmation that the rug pull in Q3 was orchestrated.
I am a believer in DRS'ing the shares and I did so with 50% of mine, but this is just reducing the float in an ignited situation. We know that "the other side" has a deep playbook which actually let them do whatever they want with the price, regardless of FOMO, option chains, splividends etc. They control the room, but they can't exit it...anyway they don't have to, they just have to pay rent...unlike you and me who own the shares... so what are we talking about here?
For me DRS is mainly a guarantee I get my dividends in the future, and that my shares won't be voided in a case where somebody puts them in a bad bank at a specific value for "systemic reasons" or they were "falsely acquired" or whatever
or a case where "somebody" decides to accidently erase/block all excess shares in a VW situation and prevents me from selling at the top. Yes, i said it, and the one to ignite that is actually RC with a roughly 10% share he can buy extra to increase to 19,9% (but he must have already secured these 10%= 30M shares somehow...deep ITM options?) or GME with an announcement that they completed their buyback program worth 100M (which is 6M shares)
Still 90M DRS'ed shares + 40M from the above are far away from the total float that is under control of the dark side, who benefit from both lending out shares or get a dividend- they benefit both ways, so they have no reason to sell or stop lending.
Anyway, Buy+Hold+DRS is the way, always was

Side hustles
I would love to hear some hype stuff...like "we are planning a M&A", "we are planning some dividend" or something.
Additionally announcements like "stock buy back program increased from 100M to 300M", or anything else in this direction would be nice.
But at the end of the day I don't care for now...I want to hear numbers that support a narrative as follows:
"we have succesfully turned around the company and have now 1bn in the bank, 1bn in inventory, a positive free cash flow and we are profitable- we will continue the path of restructuring and put profits over revenues"

As a little preparation please feel free to read a bit more about your company's history and why the narrative is not 100% wrong that GME might have been similar to blockbuster etc. when gaming went online. The company has put the money they made mainly in growth by acquisitions, but could never re-invent (such as the "Netflix was sending out DVD's" narrative of a small troll who considers himself a shark)
https://www.zippia.com/gamestop-careers-4821/history/

Put that into perspective, and why main street investors remain on the sideline...the phase of turnaround we are in is still "stop the bleeding and make the core business profitable".

It has to be proven that GME can use the foundation of these to
a) generate a sustainable and stable profit which would allow them e.g. to pay dividends
This of course would be supported by stock buy backs

b) allocate funds/money to complimentary acquistions that increase/scale the revenue without increasing the costs antiproportionally

Everyone have a good earnings call tonight, stay humble, stay Zen, be nice to each other

2023.03.21 11:07 SwingManiac137 Need suggestions- Light roasts for milk based drinks

Hello all,
First time poster on Reddit. I apologize in advance if I am doing this wrong.
TLDR- looking for suggestions for light roast beans for milk based drinks. Setup- Rancilio Silvia (PID) and Rancilio Rocky. Location- San Jose, CA.
I own a Rancilio Silvia and Rancilio Rocky, and have been making milk based drinks for about two years now. I love trying new beans, and I am at a point in my coffee journey where I enjoy light roasts more.
I recently had the pleasure of dialing in Veracruz Natural from Black Oak Coffee Roasters and was blown away by how good it tasted as a flat white. I wish I could describe it better but it tasted like a fermented-berry infused-maple syrup enriched-coffee concoction. For those interested, I found my setup does well at 17g dose, 43g yield, 25sec shot duration, and 203F.
I would love to hear about any light roasts you have tried recently that really stood out. I would prefer a single origin but a blend recommendation would be equally appreciated.
I prefer buying my beans on sale at a local Whole Foods but I could order online if the beans really warrant it.
Thanks in advance!

2023.03.21 11:06 richATTK Stupid Transition sale making bike choices difficult...

(I wrote and tried to post this yesterday, didn't load for some reason. Then the 15-20% Transition sale started last night. The alloy XT Patrol is now $4500 making this choice tougher.)
$5500ish budget, mullet
'23 Transition Patrol (alloy XT) vs' 22/'23 Santa Cruz Bronson (C GX)
Riding mostly black and blue bike park laps at Mountain Creek a few times a week during the season, techy, hilly north New Jersey xc trails throughout the whole year, and a few local jump spots.
There's slightly more travel, weight, and IMO much more value with the Transition. I'd also prefer Shimano components. I have a buddy or two that thinks a 160mm travel bike will be miserable climbing up anything, but I try to remain optimistic and I'm aware it's possible. The Bronson is the obvious better climber, but would the Patrol be THAT bad?
I've been riding since a teen in the late 90s, as a 10yr hiatus and about 5yrs ago got back into it with a Diamondback trail bike. Then 2 years ago caught the ebike bug and got a nice Commencal Meta Power, which has been great for basically anything, it's just 57lbs and super long, turning it mullet with a new shock yoke has helped with the "playfulness" but it just loves to go fast, and straight.
I've actually been road riding more, getting that fitness up and was originally going to go with the new Transition Relay, (actually have a deposit on an NX atm) . The more I ride road however, and actually enjoying it I don't think I'm going to need an Ebike as my new mtb. I ride with a few eeb friends every few months and yes I'm aware no matter how fit I get, they'll still leave me in the dust on climbs.
Both are great companies, have heard great things about customer service, support, warranties etc., a good problem to have I guess.
Looking for some real world experience, advice, suggestions.

2023.03.21 10:50 goodgulf100 Issues with gym membership subscription about increased prices after being offered discount, any advice?

I subscribed to a gym membership at end of 2022 when they were doing a Black Friday offer - I pay for Dec, and get Jan and Feb free. I can freeze at any time. The salesperson sat with me at their coffee shop and explained the above to me. 10 days later I get a message that prices increased - I was told am getting a student discount, and 10 days later prices increased (they increased for everyone, but I was told I was getting a discount...) Soon after, they told me my hours were from 8 am to 4 pm only. The salesperson asked me casually "You can come in after 8 am, as it's less crowded" and I was like "Sure" - I was not told it is some official slot. So when am there at 7:50, I am told am not allowed - and that I have to pay more if it is before. Next, I asked them if I can cancel my membership, because I don't trust them, they keep changing T&C, and didn't inform me about anything properly, then am told if I do it before 8 months, I have to pay 2 months fee.
I have been asking to speak to the manager since last month, but amidst all travels and rare visits to the gym, they are not around. The first day when I signed up, sales person sat with me to explain everything, but now, nobody wants to talk.
I am so disappointed, and I understand I should have read the full contract before signing up, but they sat with you and only told you the good points and nothing else - it is a bit tricky.
Anyway, can I do anything about it? I can stay with them for 8 months if I pay the price I agreed upon, but can I push them for it? They keep throwing "prices increased for everyone" at me. If I cancel, can I skip the two month fees as cancellation charges? As in, am I legally right to ask for the agreed upon price or ask them to remove cancellation fees, on basis of I was not informed?
Sorry for a long (ignorant) post.

Found Skyrim Special Edition on Sale so i finally bought it but after entering the Loading Screen and pressing New Game, the dragon shows up for a bit then goes Black Screen... sometimes there's ambient sound or horse cart driving and going to the task manager it says its not running properly... Any fix? or I'll have to reinstall it and download 14GB of data again.
