I have experience plus and I am super happy with them. Recently I ordered engage iridescent and put on the same eartips as I use on experience ones and they do not fit the same. With iridescent ones they hurt and if I go size down they aren’t snug. Does anyone have the same problem and what can I do about this? Thanks💕💕

From the ages of 17-19 I was in an abusive relationship. He’d throw things at me, call me names, belittle me, control me (including when I was allowed to work/go to school, who I hung out with, etc). This all seemed very normal to me at the time. I tried to break up with him a few times and he’d threaten suicide, tried to jump out of my car on the highway, threatened to call police and lie about me. Finally one day he punched me, and I couldn’t deny THAT was abuse. And neither could he, so I was able to break up with him (he ended up stalking me and I had to quit my job and change my phone number, but I got free).
I was still living at home at the time and I thought I could tell my nmom about it because I knew she had a history of abusive relationships. When I told her what was really going on, she told me it was my fault for staying with him as long as I did, and if I didn’t want to be abused, I should’ve left him sooner.
Even though I was in denial about her abuse towards me, that didn’t sit right with me and I knew even then what she was saying was wrong.
I just realized, by her trying to convince me the abuse was my fault, it kept the same narrative with her. It kept her blameless. If I’m being abused, it must be my fault. Which is exactly the message I got from her time and time again, if only I wasn’t such a bad kid (I wasn’t), then I’d be loveable. I control if other people love me or not, and if they don’t love me, it’s because I’m too much/not enough.
Just had to get that out there, those moments of clarity where she shows her true colours are so important for the healing.

Picked this up at a garage sale for $75. Diagnoses a plugged up fuel injector, cleaned it and filled with fresh gas.
Now that’s it running I sometimes have AC voltage and sometimes I don’t. Sometimes it’ll come on after 5 minutes of idling and stay on and sometimes it won’t.
Currently load testing it, other than stumbling a bit when I switch both the compressor and space heater on simultaneously it seems to run fine.

I'm thinking this would be more of a voltron/control deck. I'd love a way to pull off time elemental or royal assassin annoyances more than once per turn.

Idea is to be mid tier fun retro decks. I got a lot of chaff in my collection I'd like to use up. So wouldn't want to spend more than a few dollars per deck. I got the non-basic lands and mana artifact standards already lined up. Looking for other fun ideas.

(If your a Java player this could still help u) After going to the subreddits of the Minecraft bedrock community I realised that a lot more people then I thought didn’t want 1.9 pvp and was happy with their combat, but I still know there are many people who want it so after receiving a bit of criticism for wanting 1.9 pvp in bedrock I knew I had to think of a solution for everyone to be happy. This is where I thought of having the option to have a toggleable button like tnt explodes or fire spreads for 1.9 pvp for the world/realm owner. This would accommodate for the mobile players that would struggle with and people who don’t like 1.9 pvp but also give the option for the people who have been wanting it for years. As well as this , the Java players that complain about 1.9 pvp could also switch to 1.8 aswell. But even after that it could even help builders that want easier combat so they could switch to 1.8. This is why I need you to help get the attention of Mojang to implement this as no matter what it couldn’t affect you badly and would give a feature some have wanted desperately for years Thank you and let’s try and get this as big as possible so we can all be happy with pvp even if you are a builder lol.But this would be temporary until there is an actual solution which is parity between the versions with a proper functioning combat system because yes this does bring a divide but it’s a temporary fix. It may also but hard to code but people have done it in mods so I think A game studio owned by Microsoft could do it. This is the feedback Page to make this happen. I’m just going to complain for a second. I grew up with 12 dudes. All the women in the family have been married in, this is cousins wise btw. I’m the only woman cousin. This being said, I grew up always getting my hands dirty, never being a “girlie girl” I mean don’t get me wrong I can dress up when I want to I just prefer not to. I work a blue collar job with, you guessed it, a bunch of men.
Now I understand that men don’t really understand pregnancy and how hard it is. Like sure they might have kids and stuff but they won’t experience the emotions or how it changes you as a person.
I work outside all day every day. I’m almost 20 w. Like on Monday 20 w. I’m a smaller person, and the baby has no where to go except out, so I look huge already. I walk and lift all day for work. I work over an hour away from home. So my days are usually between 12-14 hrs. Monday thru Saturday. I’m tired all the time and it’s becoming mentally draining to keep working. I’m having a hard time gaining weight and maintaining it because all I do for work is walk.
I want to quit my job. I’ve been here almost two years, trainees are making more then me, they’re only giving me 6 weeks fmla. Given it’s paid but 6 weeks isn’t that much. They’re expecting me to work all the way til the end. I’m due in October. I’m just so over it. I’m tired of the baby jokes all day, the name calling, the waddle jokes. All I do is work and sleep. I have no time for myself. I just don’t know what to do.

Hey guys i got into a huge fight with my friends a few months ago and AM NOT friends with them anymore but i just want to know if im the ahole.
So basically i was in a friend group with 3 other girls lets call them E,Z and G. We were pretty close but I always felt kinda left out but I didn’t think much of it. G is in my class and Z and E are also in different classes.
Anyways we would always walk around during the breaks but we never hung out outside of school. We even matched our bitmojis on snap. All the 10 classes got mixed up after last year so we got to know new people and i was lucky enough to be with my best friend at the time. Anyways one day G wanted to hang out but I couldn’t that day so I said that and I asked if we could go another day but they didn’t want to. They said quote on quote: no i cant I already begged my parents, and no I can’t the next week. When i never even said next week. Then I said quote on quote: okay go then. So they did and they made sure everyone saw that they were having a blast. They posted on snap, insta, bereal you name it. They even got matching t-shirts like they were a group without me. I went up to them during the 25 min break but they said let’s walk and they legit left me 5 meters behind. I had enough after following them so i just left. I made a new friend in my new class so i just hung out with her and her friends. I just ignored them honestly bc they didn’t even come up to me.until the weekend end after my new friend S had her birthday party we went bowling and i made sure they saw everything we did. I wrote: so fun going bowling with my bestie and love yaaa. I did really mean it but I wanted to show that I didn’t need them. After that they made a whatsapp group called confess and made a whole rant about me like girl bffr. I took screenshots of EVERYTHING and posted it on my stories. Which really wasn’t the smartest and kinda regret doing. They told me to take it down but I didn’t. But E literally did it herself so idk. Most people were on my side so that was good. A few days later my friend got called into the principals office after G E and Z and snitched on stuff that had nothing to do with them like calling pizza hut as a joke. A few days after that we ‘‘made it up’’ Then after the exam period i was feeling spicy so i made a tt vid. It was a trend at the time like who is the most toxic person them with a letter filter the name is spelled by tapping. Ik it was really dumb but i was really hurt and honestly het name is basic af. And another one about G like the one about parachutes. Iykyk. My friend S and i both gotten our phones taken away by school so every morning we give them and get it back at the end of the day. But now we are fine. I do help G sometimes when she asked something on the snap group for girlys from our class but thats all. Oh one thing they turned all my old friends (we were in a big friend group of 8 but split into two) all against me and they never gotten their phones taken away from them when they started it. My 2.5 yo is home for the 2nd day from daycare with a slight fever (result of post vaccine, minor but prefer he stay home to be comfortable). Dad and I WFH full time and my mom, emergency babysitter, is away so it’s us two dealing with it. Today I prepare him for his nap and he’s kind of hyper (but also showing signs of sleepy). I bribe him into his bed by letting him “sleep” with his new laptop/etch a sketch type toy. I tell myself I’ll give him a half hr to play before I take it away. I monitor him thru the monitor (a separate post to come about that). About 20min past he’s still sitting up playing so I go in and tell him he needs to lie down. He’s about to cry bc I’m taking his toy so I say he can keep it on his chest but he has to lie down so he obliges. I expect he’ll play a bit longer but as long as he’s lying down we’re making progress to napping/distraction-free work time. Maybe 5min pass and I check monitor and he’s just about to sit up again. That’s when I used the mic on the monitor and said, “@name, it’s time to lay down and go to sleep…lay down and close your eyes”. He at first looked confused when he heard the voice but he covered his ears, laid down, closed his eyes, and has now fallen asleep—1hr passed my 1st attempt to get him down. I hate to use the monitor but i had to use my mouseketools (were in a Mickey phase over here). Thanks for reading and I hope I didn’t offend or trigger anyone.

I (ftm22) and my partner (m19) have a pretty great sex life in my opinion and I’m never really in any pain but we have to use lube bc I don’t normally self lubricate even when I’m turned on, when I’m riding him it doesn’t hurt but after we are done I usually bleed a lot and I’m kinda sore afterwards but no other position does this? So I’m 16 and I’ve had 4 different relationships and in each one I’ve been very VERY hesitant to move forward “sexually.” I’m really content having my partner be someone I hold hands with, I have around physically, but I don’t know how I would feel if they wanted something more than that. First, I know these may look like very different specialties but for me they both are “general” specialties that cover all systems of medicine which I enjoy and they both have opportunities for a good lifestyle. I have completely cut out anything surgical and can’t see myself limiting myself to a specific subspecialty as of yet. My goal is to ultimately work part time in the future and both of these seem to have good options for that as well. If I did peds I would likely do an outpatient private clinic.
I’m fresh into M3 so I’d like to know what to pay attention to or look out for to help make my decision. I’ve done part of my pediatrics rotation and it was an adjustment but I don’t have much to compare it to. So far I feel like I’d much rather go back to M1-M2 where I had my own schedule and didn’t have to deal with so many little day to day things that come with working with different people all the time and not having much autonomy or knowledge. I hope to do a radiology elective soon but don’t know how much insight it will give me with just two weeks and not having much knowledge. I finished preclinical in the second quintile of my class and do have some radiology and community service research as well as some leadership in clubs. In terms of my personality, I can get along with patients but it does take an extra effort for me to do that and doesn’t come naturally. The one thing I’ve found myself to really like is being able to be a little hands on with short/simple procedures (even if it’s just an ultrasound or a lumbar puncture or something) but not to the level of surgery.
Radiology Pros: - I truly find the technology and the fact that you can look into someone’s body super cool, especially ultrasound - I like the systematic approach as I’m a very organized person - Being able to diagnose things that clinicians couldn’t do without you - Some procedures (biopsy’s, etc) which I do think I’d enjoy from time to time - I don’t mind not getting recognition from patients so that can be a pro - Don’t have to deal with annoying patients, social work, don’t take your job home with you
Cons: - 6 years of residency which also means I probably won’t be able to start a family until my 30s - Mentally taxing and I’ve heard it’s just as bad or worse as an attending - Along with that, don’t really have down time when you are on the job, always rushed to read - Getting super competitive to match - Difficult board exam and I’m not sure if I’m smart enough for it - Threat of AI
Pediatrics Pros: - Only 3 years of residency - Easier to match, I’d love to just have to pass my rotations and do okay on step 2 and still be fine - You get to see cute kids and follow them for life, not a super big motivation for me but I see the appeal - I like the systematic way that u assess a patient based on their age - As an attending it seems like the job is fairly routine and easy and you’re not always doing something that uses all of your mind
Cons: - The things that come with clinic life such as the social work and lots of forms - Parents that are anti vax or make care difficult - Children that are difficult to exam - Can’t work from home but that’s okay if I can still go part time - Pays less but that’s not really a big factor for me
I guess I’d just like to know what are the big questions I should be asking myself to decide and what to pay attention to. Maybe a part of myself is tired of all this and just wants to pick something with a short residency and be done sooner but I guess it’s deciding if I actually like radiology that much or if I’d be just as happy in peds. It’d be great to hear I can just pass my rotations and do okay on step 2 and be fine but I guess I need the motivation to tell myself to work hard for these next few years and go for radiology and it’ll be worth it in the end.

Wow this sub! Months of looking at all the options and trying to learn everything has kept me to wanting to keep it simple at first... I’ve finally (I think) narrowed down my selection for a pocketable EDC but was hoping for a final push from those who know. As for why this is marked as a spoiler: I’m mentioning the stuff involving Bird Person, Squanchy, Revolio, the Crew, etc.
Rick had an interesting life, particularly as a freedom fight in an intergalactic war. One of the cooler aspects of R&M is getting to see the all the different planets and species besides just the gimmicks. A lot of stories involving space-travelers don’t take the time to just enjoy the adventure of simply seeing completely new species and cultures, let alone how they interact during conflict and how many different factions form. It’s one of the reasons I love the Star Wars EU.
I feel as though Morty and Jerry (especially Jerry) tend to slow down the story and are most commonly known to simply make situations worse. Summer does that with overconfidence but usually contributes a bit more, and Beth is the most capable outside the main group but can never decide what she wants and lacks the confidence to strut through life the way Rick can.
The show is beginning to be fairly reductive of the charms of Rick and is just becoming the usual cliché of the super capable but not great at family guy slowly becoming more like them despite them being equally if not far more flawed, and somehow it’s a good thing because he’s more vulnerable. He also falls into the usual “oh I messed up and have to be saved” trope and the “I have had a messed up life so therapy clearly will work for me” (I find it personally grating since I have personal experiences with similar matters and while therapy didn’t work, other outlets did in many of the cases I have experience with. It’s not that I think therapy is waste by any means, I just hate that it’s ALWAYS treated as the answer in every show for every character).
So I would prefer to see a show of Rick at his prime. Fighting his heart out, gathering friends he genuinely relates to personally, and seeing how he experiences just a single universe to a much larger extent. Seeing more of the overworld through his lens and seeing how his attitude rubs on the people and places around him. Plus just meeting his contacts, friends and rogues gallery.
Feel free to comment your thoughts and what you think about Rick’s evolution as a character (and whether it is becoming too cliché or not). All opinions are welcome.

Hi, we have a 45 year home with concrete tiles. Our solar company cannot install solar because it has no wooden decking to support the weight.
Is there any benefits to having decking? We hardly ever had any leaks so I don’t think we would want to mess with it. We got some quotes for around $28-30k to get it done throughout the house. There’s also an option to only add decking below the portion of the roof where the solar will go on and it’ll be $8k.
Is there any additional benefit to having the decking?
Will the decking help with insulation or is that something completely different?
We would opt to save and reuse the tiles if possible, is there any reason to reuse the tiles or opt for new ones?
The whole solar project without the roofing is $17k but can potentially bump it up to $25k with a partial roof or $45k with a new roof.
What advise do you have for me? Thank you!
