In the North near the tempestuous mountains and the groves of the Relum trees, which grow relum, which are like sweet pears, was a prosperous village called “ Alestra”. Alestra is a medium-sized village known for its cloying relums and its soft and crumbly soil perfect for the trees and gardens. They lived a humble and healthy life supplying themselves with veggies and meat from the boars they hunted. The water from Rivenile was the source of their agricultural success and survival. The sound of little children having fun exploring the fields of grain while their family works diligently on the farms. Most of the children spend their time outside either helping with their family's farm or playing near the grains and on the trees playing fun games. All except one particular boy who will spend his days indoors writing stories and reading about the fascinating creatures he wishes to discover. His name was Aran Yearwood, a 12-year-old with red hair living with his parents who helped the village by transporting their food and veggies to nearby villages. Aran eagerly followed his father, perpetually saying “Father, can I hear the story about the Rift Creators of the Coliseum again please?”. The father replied, “ How about tonight when your mother is back for dinner, is that alright?”. “ Yes Father,” said Aran. Aran rushed to his room whose walls were covered with sheets of drawings and a portrait of his family right in the center of his room. His desk was piled with books and maps slightly torn and dirty. His bed was big enough for him, and a little chest lay at the end of the bed to store the items he cherished. Aran sat on his chair and picked up a book labeled “ Creatures of the Night” and he sat on his bed and read from where he began. Meanwhile, the Father went near his stable and put the ponderous goods on the wagon when he smelled a putrid stench of a rotting corpse. The father looked around to find the smell and discovered a Villager riding a horse carrying a wagon with numerous dead bodies disfigured and all missing body parts. “ What happened to them!?” stuttered the father in shock. “ To be honest I don’t know?” said the villager. “It might be a wolf or a bear,” said the villager. “That can’t be bears since it's winter,” said the father. “We might have to stop shipment to other villages,” said the villager. “Why, though, it's only a few animals we can take care of,” said the father. “Well, that depends if the mayor agrees,” the villager says. “Shouldn’t we mail this to animal control, maybe they can control these beasts,” the father said. “Already mailed it to them, should be arriving in a few weeks or so”. The villager rode his horse to the village square leaving the father worried. When it was nightfall the family was at the dinner table eating their food. They had a hot and warm meat pie filled with lamb and pork all mixed with gravy with a side of pan-fried spinach. After their dinner, Aran rushed towards his room with his father following him. “ Are you gonna tell me the story Father?” asked Aran. “ Alright, hold your patience,” said the father as he sat down on the bed. “ The story of the ..colosseum begins with the Greater wills, gods who judge the realms and serve as the way of evolution”. “When these gods see someone they love they give birth to the demigods. “ Each demigod ruled the realms and served as a ruler for their realms,” asked the Father. “ They had abilities like gravity, time, War, pestilence, and even death, while others had less powerful abilities like sand,” said the father. “ Each of the demigods is known to be the best and the most revered in their worlds.,” said the father in a Joyous mood. '' “All had everything they could need in their lives, but some wanted more”. The father looked outside the dark knight. “ Well it's getting late. The father replied with a tired tone “ Sleep well Aran”. “Can you finish the story tomorrow? " asked Aran, resting his head on the pillow. “Of course,” said the father. Aran closed his eyes and dreamed of himself in the stars, seeing the planets go by as he feels the

Aran who was now 17 got off his bed with his room no longer having the drawings he used to have and the desk he still had an accumulation of books. He passed his parent's room and went into the kitchen to make his parents some breakfast. Aran's parents were always tired of the number of resources needed for other villages and Aran’s mother sprained her knee when running back to the village. Aran grabbed a few thick pork slices and chopped them to put on the ardent sizzling pan. Aran proceeded to crack a few eggs, mix them with scallions, and place them on the pan with the pork bits until they were cooked well. The sound of the sizzling food awoke the father as he peeked through the kitchen to see his son cook. The father asks” Son it's still dark outside why are you up this early”. “I wanted to give you something to eat while I’m gone with the delivery for the next town,” said Aran. “ Alone, you can’t be alone when Wendigos are out on the road”. “ Let me come and help you deliver the food..” but as the father said that he was cut off and the Aron said, “ It's alright I brought a knife with me and I’ll be cautious”. Aran exited the house and went near the stable to ride his horse carrying the fruits and vegetables on his side. Aran rode his horse down the road to the village square. The village square had big houses with markets surrounding the houses and farms surrounding the Relum trees growing ever so long behind the village. The villagers look depleted and worn out. Aran rode his horse to the other houses to ask for resources and food they offered them all saying “ Tell Newberry to stay strong”. After Aran was finished taking the villager's supplies for Newberry he went to the village chief to gather his resources. He knocked on the door of the Mayor's house and saw him with a pile of water buckets, a few bags of gold, and Packs of wood. “ Ah Aran, please put this on your cart and tell Newberry to stay safe and have hope”. “Of course chief,” said Aran. Aran rode his horse to the village gate next to the tower post. When Aran was next to the post a Knight went outside of the tower replying “ What is your business of leaving Alestra '' . “ I’m transporting my family’s food to the village of Newberry, “ said Aran. “ The village of Newberry isn't doing well since the Wendigos raided them, they're going to need those supplies” said the knight. Aran was permitted to leave Alestera and Aran continued his journey on the path. Aran passed through from a few corpses to an abundance of them until Aran saw the village. The village was burned and ravaged with dark smoke covering the sky and the stench of burning flesh still in the air. Aran rushed to the village to see if anybody survived but found none survived. When Aran was about to leave he saw smoke coming out of the forest, Aran rode his horse swiftly and came to the source of the fire. He saw a few villagers and a small number of children near the fire scared and tired from the raid. “ Are you the villagers of Newberry?” asked Aran. “ We used to be until the Wendigos attacked,” said an elderly lady. Aran with a shocked look on his face asked: “ What about the knights”. “ Most of them died fighting while some died running,” said the old man next to the lady. “ Some more knights tried to help but those insidious beasts forestalled ”. Aran was worried for the villagers of Newberry and shouted“ I have resources from the town of Alestra and we have come for your help!!!”. All the villagers looked at Aran as he continued to shout “ Please gather any resources you need and help yourself to the food you need to survive with!!!”. The Villagers filled with hope and joy rushed to the cart and gathered all the supplies. They were all eating and drinking and covering themselves with blankets making them feel just a little bit safer. “ We don’t know how to thank you, young sir,” said a man with his children next to him. “ Please sir you don’t have to do anything, but if you and the others need help we're just a few miles away south,” said Aran. Aran left with an empty cart and a feeling of beatitude when he saw the villagers of Newberry full of bliss and hope. Halfway through his trip back to his village the horse instantaneously stopped and nearly threw Aran off the horse. “ Stay here Becky,” said Aran smoothly. He jumped off the horse and looked all around to see if anything would jump out and attack him. Suddenly he heard a large screeching sound mixed with screeching. He heard rustling and sticks being broken. He heard the noise again except it was teeth chattering and the sound of a loud sharp horn was closer. “ We have to go, Becky,” said Aran urgently as he jumped on his horse and rode as fast as he could. Aran heard the sound come closer and faster towards him. Aran had the sudden urge to stop the horse midway. Aran stopped his horse and soon after a dark wendigo jumped out in front of him and crashed near some trees and was unconscious for a few seconds. Aran used that time to ride away while horrified by that chase. The wendigo screeched in anger as Aran was out of its sight. Aran returned to the village sweaty and scared and opened the doors only to be on his knees. The father rushed up to him with the mother following him slowly. “ Aran what happened to you?!” asked the father in a frightened manner. “I escaped from a wendigo,” said Aran panting. “ How in this world did you survive?!” asked the father. “ Raranold, let the Aran rest now,” said the mother. “ Aran is traumatized enough for today, we can ask when he is ready but for now let him sleep and rest”. The father took a deep breath and said to Aran “ You can go upstairs and we’ll cook something for you, is that okay ''. “That's okay,” Aran replied. Aran went upstairs to his room and went to his bed to sit. Aran heard voices from downstairs wanting to hear what his parents were talking about. Aran opened the door quietly, walked on the stairs sneakily, and peered through the kitchen to hear what they were saying. “ 7 people died on that road and were eaten, there is no way our son could survive one of their attacks,” said Raranold. “ I think it's time for us to leave the village”. “But where will we go, Raranold,” asked the mother. “ We could go to the city of Elistar and maybe there we can be safe,” said the father. “I don’t know what to do now Elizabeth”. “ We can leave tomorrow when we pack all our stuff and leave while we still have light, and maybe we can reach an inn,” said Elizabeth. “ But what about Aran, how will he handle this?” asked Raranold. “He might be upset about it but I’m sure he’ll love the big city and all its fancy buildings and all the new stuff he’ll like”. “ Plus we have a good amount of money to survive in the city”. “ Now then, we should be cooking dinner at Raranold”. “ Please pass me the mushrooms on your right, we're going to be making some skewers” Aran walked to his room quietly shocked by the fact that he will move from the village he grew up in. Aran looked out the window gazing at the village thinking about how he will never get used to the city. Aran suddenly saw something big and tall in the bushes. It was the same wendigo that was chasing him through the path. Aran quickly fell over in terror and when he got back up, the wendigo was suddenly gone in an instant. “ Oh lords,” said Aran. The wendigo rushed deep into the forests crossing through the dry trees and the murky puddles towards an abandoned camp. The abandoned camp was full of wendigos either resting or fighting each other for food. Near the big stump sat a tall wendigo with various skulls and aches full of bottles and ashes on his sides. The wendigo held a staff with a large skull. The wendigo went towards the large wendigo and shrieked “ Shouldn’t we attack the village now”. The tall Wendigo stood up and said “ We attack when the sun is dim”. They heard horses coming through the road with knights packed with weapons passing by them. The tall Wendigo screamed in the sky letting every Wendigo know that they would attack the village of Alestra.

This is a blackout dome tent with the Queen bed option (lists for $1700 plus fees), which will already be set up and ready to go. The tent comes with a combination lock, as well as a table, cooling fan, bed, and commemorative Bonnaroo sleeping bags.
A bit about me, I attended 8 bonnaroos between 2004 and 2012 and was really looking forward to getting back to the Farm, but alas adult world realities have settled in and I cannot attend this year. It didn’t help that my pal bailed on me either. With that in mind, I want to promise a few things to assure you that I am not scamming you. On mobile so sorry about format. Rant.
I just talked to my manager and she just about fired me from my job because of how I come off to other coworkers.
She said that because she has had multiple complaints of me overstepping and being rude to other (senior) staff.
She likes me and wants me to work on it but she said that there have been multiple different staff that have complained about me and my attitude.
I work in a restaurant (pub) as a server. I have over 10 yrs experience in the restaurant industry both FOH and BOH (used to be a chef).
It is a busy place so there is quite a lot of staff. I am the type of person that if there is something that needs to be done, and no one else is doing it, I do it.
This is because I have the mentality that I am working, being paid, so I should be working all the time I am there. Even if my section is busy or not I try and help all the other staff. (Which is easy because it is not my house and I get money so my brain doesn't stop me, it is the exact opposite of how the rest of my life works.)
Here is where I might come off as too blunt/rude??
If I see a dirty table, I clean it. And sometimes others don't wipe off the table good enough (patio) so I re wipe it. If I see it is still sticky or has food stuff on it I wipe it, I'm going to do my own tables anyways so might as well.
If I was a customer I would like a clean table, I thought that was a given but apparently not if it is in another section I shouldn't clean it?
And if the server is busy, and a table walks in I'm only supposed to drop off menus and not ask them anything else or tell them the specials, or give them water until their server is free?? Apparently that's poaching the table??? Even though I tell the table that their server will be right with them?
Or if the kitchen messes up a bill, I tell them and ask them to correct it. I try to always say can you or would you be able to... and none of them have seemed mad at me about anything I suggest. I just talked to my manager and she just about fired me from my job because of how I come off to other coworkers.
She said that because she has had multiple complaints of me overstepping and being rude to other (senior) staff.
She likes me and wants me to work on it but she said that there have been multiple different staff that have complained about me and my attitude.
I work in a restaurant (pub) as a server. I have over 10 yrs experience in the restaurant industry both FOH and BOH (used to be a chef).
It is a busy place so there is quite a lot of staff. I am the type of person that if there is something that needs to be done, and no one else is doing it, I do it.
This is because I have the mentality that I am working, being paid, so I should be working all the time I am there. Even if my section is busy or not I try and help all the other staff. (Which is easy because it is not my house and I get money so my brain doesn't stop me, it is the exact opposite of how the rest of my life works.)
Here is where I might come off as too blunt/rude??
If I see a dirty table, I clean it. And sometimes others don't wipe off the table good enough (patio) so I re wipe it. If I see it is still sticky or has food stuff on it I wipe it, I'm going to do my own tables anyways so might as well.
If I was a customer I would like a clean table, I thought that was a given but apparently not if it is in another section I shouldn't clean it?
And if the server is busy, and a table walks in I'm only supposed to drop off menus and not ask them anything else or tell them the specials, or give them water until their server is free?? Apparently that's poaching the table??? Even though I tell the table that their server will be right with them?
Or if the kitchen messes up a bill, I tell them and ask them to correct it. I try to always say can you or would you be able to... and none of them have seemed mad at me about anything I suggest. Hello Reddit!
This is — for a change of pace — Cuzi from Team BethelFrankel, here to tell you that the ratings for Leo, Yingel, and Anatoli are now live on the Community Tier List! I’m sorry this took as long as it did. Fourmana was busy, the website was getting updated, and I was playing Honkai Star Rail. No excuses, just a sorry. As always, a “should you pull” section, followed by some big updates in preparation for the upcoming anniversary.
With Leo, you’ll usually want to use his second Active once per Burst turn before dumping all his stacks into it on the final Burst turn. The gimmicks on his first Active are largely flavor text: the second and third effects are difficult to use outside longer stages, while the first effect is only useful in mobbing. All this said, there are a lot of minor optimizations you can do with him. Firstly, his second active is only useful if you can ensure around at least 3-4 Normals including diagonals; saving the stacks to benefit from his Equipment’s Chain Combo buffs may be worthwhile if this is not the case. Second, the CD reduction on his first Active from getting 19 stacks only applies on cast; if you have enough enhanced tiles, saving his first Active to cast during his AT can let you gain maximum value from it. This room for minmaxing offers Leo some appreciated flexibility, cementing him as an excellent option on teams that can feed his appetite for e-tiles.
TL;DR: Pull if you want him and can offer the appropriate support, otherwise probably skip. Meta e-tile Forest has stiff competition for slots, but he’s as good an option as any to round it out after you have the core setup. Outside of e-tile teams, he’s usable but not great.
Yingel - A-/S at BT3 - Yingel is another addition to the “weird converters” we’ve been seeing over the past few patches, but this time placing heavy emphasis on 1x1 content. We did the math on her damage output and her damage leaves much to be desired, even for a sniper. Yingel’s kit is based around using special high-power Normals to stack a powerful defense ignoring buff. This sounds great in theory, but Yingel’s inability to normal attack in between her special Normals severely neuters her; it more or less means her Normal attack damage is the same as most other units, and makes her defense ignore stacking is too slow for it to ever realize its full potential.
Her conversion is similarly restrictive. 5 select tiles on a 2 CD is actually pretty incredible; the issue is her cross-shaped conversion pattern makes it incredibly janky to properly use and get contact tiles with outside of 1x1 content. Her conversion can be cloned by Axelia, but the high cloning cost and Axelia's other cloning synergies with units like Irridon limit its value.
Ultimately, Yingel is a combination of almost all the most powerful effects in all of Alchemy Stars nerfed in every way. This has its place — she’s a pretty good captain for 1x1 content, and better than most of Thunder’s bog-standard snipers even at BT0. You just won’t feel good using her over Luke, Reinhardt or R3 Wrath.
TL;DR: Probably Avoid. While Yingel certainly isn’t bad at BT3, there are significantly better options to go for at this level of investment. With the 2nd Anniversary being the next event, you don’t want to regret pulling on someone that may potentially collect dust on your account.
Anatoli - A - Anatoli is the welfare character for this patch and more or less a Forest Brock, offering niche but potentially valuable Aggro support and decent personal damage for mobbing. His active can also be used as a janky TP and gap closer if only selecting one target, which is… interesting, at the very least, and occasionally useful. However, his EQ is noticeably worse and the element he’s in has much less synergies for him. Forest also is home to some of the best mobbers in the game in Lenore, Migard, and Barton:DB, who are also just overall better units whose value doesn’t nosedive outside their niche. For a welfare, though, Anatoli is admirably effective at what he does — he’s a good investment if you don’t have one of Forest’s myriad mobbers, and will still see use in secondary or tertiary teams in content like Pandora’s even once you do.
Finally, his art and animations are top-tier — he’ll be a staple for those invested in the aesthetics metagame.
TL;DR: Build if you want. He’s very niche, but excellent at it — whether that’s important to you depends on your own account.
Some background on this — the team is forever mentally scarred by Goldie, and I could honestly end the explanation here, refuse to elaborate, and leave. While that is partly a joke, Goldie is the unit that prompted us to think about how we tier things. Goldie is honestly pretty terrible outside dedicated e-tile teams that need very specific units, but said e-tile teams offer some of the best damage in the game. This unit design is a consequence of how the game has evolved — since the game has covered its bases for generalist units like Sinsa and Azure, characters’ roles have become much more specific. The tier list, formulated in the days of yore, couldn’t really account for that. We’re hoping these new ratings fix that.
This isn’t a perfect solution; the most glaring problem is how much it increases clutter in a tier list which already suffered from it. This forces us to be rather conservative about how we give these ratings, and we’ve tried to limit it as much as possible to units where the improvement is fairly drastic or units who are the linchpin of entire strategies. That said, if you feel we’ve missed someone we’re happy to get feedback about it! We’re far from perfect, and constructive criticism is how we can improve.
Finally, we’ve gotten rid of class ratings and nothing of value was really lost. They did more harm than good, and we’ve replaced them with extremely brief descriptions of what the unit actually does. So all that said… let’s delve into the units that got changed!
Goldie - SS(T) (is S-) – Behold, the woman behind the slaughter. Dedicated e-tile teams are incredible, and we’re letting Goldie eat the SS rating for almost all the units that dramatically improve due to it given the setup revolves around her.
Lilica - SS(T) (is S+) – Similar to Goldie, Lilica is taking the SS tiering for all shield synergies because they’re ultimately centered around her. Lilica shield teams offer some of the highest damage in Fire and are surprisingly strong in Water too.
Minos - SS(T) (is S) — Minos already had a note marking him as SS in specific teams, so we’re just adjusting that to fit into the new system. Unlike a lot of other e-tile units he doesn’t depend on Goldie to get the number of e-tiles he needs to shine, so we’re marking him separately.
Tessa - S+(T) (is S-) – Tessa’s interaction with low-CD units is pretty potent. The most notable of these is Axelia + MBT Roy and to a lesser extent Leyn, who push her damage above a good chunk of Thunder’s long list of detonators.
Lucoa - S(T) (is A) — Lucoa’s buff is one of a kind and instrumental in making a lot of Active-based teams work.
May - A(T) (is C+) — May is pretty important for certain Giles nuke setups and serves as the only other good defensive option on Lenore+Jeno setups. That said, neither setup entirely revolves around her which limits her overall tiering.
Axelia - S+(T) (is S) — Axelia’s ability to copy summons gives a lot of notable synergies even outside the aforementioned MBT Roy and Tessa. Of particular note is Reinhardt and Irridon, and her presence on whale Thunder teams is a testament of how much she improves its playability.
Brock - S(N) (is A-) — Brock is absolutely incredible in mobbing; his ability to aggro mob can trivialize waves and his Attack buff in these stages is very potent. The cherry on top is his importance on Giles nuke setups.
Nails - S(N) (is A-) — Nails’ Bleed application is only really contested by Pasolo, and he’s almost required on certain Elysium floors while also being strong on DoT weak enemies outside of that.
Chandra - A-(N) (is C+) — Chandra is amazing for Nightium farming, and the long-term value this provides is actually quite notable.
Giles - SS(N) (is S+) — Updated calcs show that Giles’ damage on shorter fights actually outdoes most of Fire’s S-tier even on 2x2; his ability to trivialize some stages by nuking them combined with his almost unrivaled 1x1 performance puts him at SS in the right situations.
Odi - S+(N) (is S-) — Odi has unrivaled Poison application, allowing her to clear some stages that even meta teams can struggle on.
Noah BT2 - S-(N) (is A-) — Noah’s Lilica synergies paired with the importance of her shield against certain specific damage checks gives her some valuable use cases, even if she usually is outdone by Philyshy.
Raphael - A(N) at BT0 (is B-), S+(N) at BT3 (is S-) — Raphael’s oddball mix of resets, conversion, damage and healing lets her function in a way no other unit really can, and makes certain endgame content like BoredomShatterblast significantly easier.
Erica - A(N) (is B) — Erica is the only decent reset option in Thunder, so your hands are often tied on certain stages. Still, her Detonator chain and team buff means she’s not deadweight.
Vivian MBT - A+(N) (is B-) — MBT Vivian’s raw conversion value makes her pretty powerful on the right stages. There is nothing quite like letting her paint boards yellow.
Keating - B+(N) (is C+) — Brock and Anatoli have shown that aggro is actually extremely valuable when the situation calls for it. However, Keating is hampered by their brutal cooldown combined with a lack of pre-emptive.
Zhong Xu - S(N) (is A+) — Zhong Xu was extremely disappointing for a unit that was meant to be Fire’s long-awaited select tile converter. That said, his push-pull synergies do make him worth using on some stages, especially alongside Charon and Brock.
Jane - A(N) (is C) — Jane’s ranking is almost entirely based on her ability to reliably auto-farm the penultimate Nightium stage with a specific setup. Outside of this, she’s still pretty bad.
MBT Tina - SS(N) — MBT Tina can be incredible — 4 pseudo-select tiles on 2CD alongside a very janky TP is nothing to scoff at. The issue is all this is contingent on being able to predict enemy movements and plan ahead with her tile placement; this isn’t easy nor reliable, but MBT Tina can even outdo Bethlehem in situations where it’s feasible.
MBT Frostfire - S- (was A+) – Like Philyshy, the higher importance of mobbing makes Frostfire much more valuable — especially given her mobbing capabilities in Fire are only really rivaled by R3 Regina. She’s still extremely reliant on her MBT and is entirely eclipsed by Giles in bossing, but the gap between her and her Old Seal brethren is now far closer than it used to be.
Leona - S- (was A) – Leona is probably the unit that was the most underrated in the tier list for quite some time: her 1x1 and 2x2 numbers are competitive on both fronts with other S tier units. She’s still too reliant on Burn and good conversion to truly be S-tier, but a well-supported Leona can carry you a surprisingly long way.
Barbara A- – Despite her overall numbers being better with the buff and the refinements, Barbara is still a unit that really doesn’t have much in terms of what she brings to the table. You could even argue her equipment buff being element-locked now makes her arguably worse! While that isn’t exactly true, it does go to show how decidedly underwhelming her improvements have been.
Vice R3 - S- (Was A) — R3 Vice’s performance is actually pretty incredible — her 1x1 performance outdoes most of Water’s other snipers, and her mobbing is potent. Her main issue is the competition she faces in both cases. Vice: KS is your go-to option in 1x1 content, and base Vice can’t be used alongside her; meanwhile, Water mobbing is a tightly contested spot between Azure, Fia, Mu Yuebai, Fleur, and Connolly. Still, she is pretty good on her own merits, especially considering she’s completely free.
Vic — While his overall ranking hasn’t changed, Vic’s description has been touched up. As it turns out, he’s one of if not the best option for the 5th slot in Water against purely 1x1 content. His performance tanks with summons, he’s a miserable captain, and his 2x2 performance is laughable — but it was pertinent to mention he does have a pretty well-defined use case for those who like him enough to invest in him. In a way it’s fairly in-character for him: even though he’s good at what he does, he’ll probably spend most of his time in your roster on the bench.
We also have a lot more in the works. Trakan is working on an Ultimate Checklist — a super handy tool featuring an Aurorian Tracker, team building customization and even some Cloud Garden tools. Meanwhile, Ivory is working on a polished Lilica guide — a handy walkthrough to help explain one of Alchemy Stars' most unique and nuanced units. This is just the start, too — hopefully there's a lot more to come in the future.
I apologize for not showing up for the last event–I got busy, and as a consequence didn't update the Archive for a while. Regardless, both of the past two events are now live for viewing. Leo - S-/S+ - Leo’s ceiling is nuts. In terms of raw damage, his damage potential is one of — if not the — highest in Forest. This is an impressive feat, considering that Forest is an element with beasts such as Jeriah, Paloma and Areia. His main issue is a large portion of this damage is gated behind requiring both Refinements and team support. This makes him a weird unit to rate; his R0 baseline performance undercuts Forest’s contested S-tier, with his damage scaling up to SS-tier levels the more e-tiles you feed him. The Goldie teams that could let him reach this potential, however, have hotly contested team slots. Jeriah, Naroxel, and Paloma all provide utility alongside their damage that makes them much more indispensable, leaving Leo and Gabriel to duke it out for the last slot in meta e-tile teams. Still, the fact he’s a top contender for that slot at all as a raw damage dealer speaks to his potential. Axelia - S+(T) (is S) — Axelia’s ability to copy summons gives a lot of notable synergies even outside the aforementioned MBT Roy and Tessa. Of particular note is Reinhardt and Irridon, and her presence on whale Thunder teams is a testament of how much she improves its playability.
Brock - S(N) (is A-) — Brock is absolutely incredible in mobbing; his ability to aggro mob can trivialize waves and his Attack buff in these stages is very potent. The cherry on top is his importance on Giles nuke setups.
Nails - S(N) (is A-) — Nails’ Bleed application is only really contested by Pasolo, and he’s almost required on certain Elysium floors while also being strong on DoT weak enemies outside of that.
Chandra - A-(N) (is C+) — Chandra is amazing for Nightium farming, and the long-term value this provides is actually quite notable.
Giles - SS(N) (is S+) — Updated calcs show that Giles’ damage on shorter fights actually outdoes most of Fire’s S-tier even on 2x2; his ability to trivialize some stages by nuking them combined with his almost unrivaled 1x1 performance puts him at SS in the right situations.
Odi - S+(N) (is S-) — Odi has unrivaled Poison application, allowing her to clear some stages that even meta teams can struggle on.
Noah BT2 - S-(N) (is A-) — Noah’s Lilica synergies paired with the importance of her shield against certain specific damage checks gives her some valuable use cases, even if she usually is outdone by Philyshy.
Raphael - A(N) at BT0 (is B-), S+(N) at BT3 (is S-) — Raphael’s oddball mix of resets, conversion, damage and healing lets her function in a way no other unit really can, and makes certain endgame content like BoredomShatterblast significantly easier.
Erica - A(N) (is B) — Erica is the only decent reset option in Thunder, so your hands are often tied on certain stages. Still, her Detonator chain and team buff means she’s not deadweight.
Vivian MBT - A+(N) (is B-) — MBT Vivian’s raw conversion value makes her pretty powerful on the right stages. There is nothing quite like letting her paint boards yellow.
Keating - B+(N) (is C+) — Brock and Anatoli have shown that aggro is actually extremely valuable when the situation calls for it. However, Keating is hampered by their brutal cooldown combined with a lack of pre-emptive.
Zhong Xu - S(N) (is A+) — Zhong Xu was extremely disappointing for a unit that was meant to be Fire’s long-awaited select tile converter. That said, his push-pull synergies do make him worth using on some stages, especially alongside Charon and Brock.
Jane - A(N) (is C) — Jane’s ranking is almost entirely based on her ability to reliably auto-farm the penultimate Nightium stage with a specific setup. Outside of this, she’s still pretty bad.
MBT Tina - SS(N) — MBT Tina can be incredible — 4 pseudo-select tiles on 2CD alongside a very janky TP is nothing to scoff at. The issue is all this is contingent on being able to predict enemy movements and plan ahead with her tile placement; this isn’t easy nor reliable, but MBT Tina can even outdo Bethlehem in situations where it’s feasible.
Some Other Tier Shifts
Philishy - S (was S-) – Philyshy was initially downshifted during an era of content involving very high DPR checks. Abyss and Pandora’s Box did a lot to change this, and both game modes seem tailored to reward Philyshy’s absurd healing output and additional utility through her global teleport. She’s more than worth the $1 you may pay for her; while you still aren’t going to use her in most content that has a DPS check, her value is nigh-unparalleled outside of it.MBT Frostfire - S- (was A+) – Like Philyshy, the higher importance of mobbing makes Frostfire much more valuable — especially given her mobbing capabilities in Fire are only really rivaled by R3 Regina. She’s still extremely reliant on her MBT and is entirely eclipsed by Giles in bossing, but the gap between her and her Old Seal brethren is now far closer than it used to be.
Leona - S- (was A) – Leona is probably the unit that was the most underrated in the tier list for quite some time: her 1x1 and 2x2 numbers are competitive on both fronts with other S tier units. She’s still too reliant on Burn and good conversion to truly be S-tier, but a well-supported Leona can carry you a surprisingly long way.
Barbara A- – Despite her overall numbers being better with the buff and the refinements, Barbara is still a unit that really doesn’t have much in terms of what she brings to the table. You could even argue her equipment buff being element-locked now makes her arguably worse! While that isn’t exactly true, it does go to show how decidedly underwhelming her improvements have been.
Vice R3 - S- (Was A) — R3 Vice’s performance is actually pretty incredible — her 1x1 performance outdoes most of Water’s other snipers, and her mobbing is potent. Her main issue is the competition she faces in both cases. Vice: KS is your go-to option in 1x1 content, and base Vice can’t be used alongside her; meanwhile, Water mobbing is a tightly contested spot between Azure, Fia, Mu Yuebai, Fleur, and Connolly. Still, she is pretty good on her own merits, especially considering she’s completely free.
Vic — While his overall ranking hasn’t changed, Vic’s description has been touched up. As it turns out, he’s one of if not the best option for the 5th slot in Water against purely 1x1 content. His performance tanks with summons, he’s a miserable captain, and his 2x2 performance is laughable — but it was pertinent to mention he does have a pretty well-defined use case for those who like him enough to invest in him. In a way it’s fairly in-character for him: even though he’s good at what he does, he’ll probably spend most of his time in your roster on the bench.
New and Future Content
I'd talked a bit about how tier lists are a pretty inherently flawed format earlier. We're doing our best to circumvent this — for all its failings, it is both straightforward and intuitive. Still, especially as we get closer to Anniversary, the team has found that it might help to branch out in the content we make to help both new and returning players. Recently, you probably saw Eclogia's beginner and advanced guides. If you haven't, you probably should! They're really well written and you can find them in the reddit post here.We also have a lot more in the works. Trakan is working on an Ultimate Checklist — a super handy tool featuring an Aurorian Tracker, team building customization and even some Cloud Garden tools. Meanwhile, Ivory is working on a polished Lilica guide — a handy walkthrough to help explain one of Alchemy Stars' most unique and nuanced units. This is just the start, too — hopefully there's a lot more to come in the future.

Sometimes I wonder if Fourmana has a secret vendetta against me. Maybe I wronged him in another life to have been stuck with writing this monster of an update. Perhaps my sins have caught up to me, and the gods commanded him to make me write this post in their displeasure. We’ll never know.Jokes aside, it’s been an amazing time working with the team to push this update out, and I’m glad Four doesn’t have to deal with it when he already has a lot on his plate — he’s already put overtime into this project. As always, our rankings are tentative and we both appreciate and rely on feedback, especially considering this is my first time making a write-up of this length for Alchemy Stars. The tier list is written for the community, and it’s helpful to hear what you want from it!

Well Hello Reddit :) In a bit of a predicament as you can tell from the title...
Funny thought (and first thought) was to come here and write about it...
I am a 30 year old male that has dated a 30 year old female now for 5 years. We first met in the elementary school and immediately liked one another. At that time we became official! This was 6th grade however... So our new found love lead to hugs and a first kiss.
She ended up moving schools and we did not see each other for 12 years... I had recently returned home after working in another state... I was 24 years of age back home and we ran into one another out at a bar, snagged the number, and started dating :) MISSION ACCOMPLISHED?
Over the next 4 years we had some great times together, moved to a new city, returned home, got a dog... All the normal signs of growth in a relationship. I decided after some internal thinking, ("What am I waiting for after 5 years of dating?!") to get get engaged.
I flew to NYC and met an old jewelry friend, purchased an engagement ring, flew home, and two months later proposed to my Girlfriend on my birthday at a special restaurant that has been as second home to many of our best dates.
My Fiancé left her retail jobs and decided to purse a career in Nursing 6 months before I got on a knee... Part of our process to get through her new workload and school commitments was I would handle housing, car, and most bills, while she worked to finish her two year nursing program. She has kept a PT job a couple days a week to have some income flow to handle her insurance, and for items she wanted to splurge on. I make good money to handle this, but taking care of two and maintaining a social life was still a no doubt financial stressor on me.
The first two semesters of nursing school went by with its challenges, but she had passed and after this week has finished her second semester. Two more to go! All according to plan? Well...
She has recently been spending a lot of time going out, with her nursing girlfriends and classmates. I have met a few of them, they are a bit younger, but ok... No issues there. She was however after every time going out coming home at an extremely late hour. I had asked, "Ok no problem, have fun! But I think its time for you to start coming back at a more reasonable hour, lets say midnight?" (Instead of 4am, then she's couch ridden the entire next day beating a hangover)
Her first Lie...
On one of her nights out she had said she would be with a group of nursing girls, well It seemed odd to me after she returned home that night, while I was in bed, she was texting on the floor beside the bed at 1 am... That seemed odd so late at night... I did something I have never done, and I checked her phone in the am and she had sent a kissing heart emoji to her male nursing teacher. So it was a date.... Clearly.
We ended up separating for two weeks, talking about what went wrong, and if we were going to actively fix this we both needed to work on some things. FAIR. I don't excuse her for doing that in the slightest, but she had some concerns with me I wish she would've brought to the table instead of seeking another mans attention!
The last month everything we had talked about we would work on since her date she did not take seriously... She was Lazy, acting spoiled, did not take care of the items we talked about, and almost seemed to self sabotage daily our happiness. It would be a good date out, no issues, then as we get home she would say something like "I still just don't know about us, we need therapy" Or something along those lines. Lot of highs and then hit with some lows... It has been difficult. I have tried to see the positive as much as I could from each day together, but we are struggling clearly.
Last week I texted her on Wednesday "lets have some fun tonight, not think too much, get a nicely made cocktail or two then get some sushi"
We did the date, went home, and as I walked outside to take the trash out she was on the phone with a deleted number.. It was the guy she went on a date again, her teacher... She said it was her friends office line, so I texted her friend... NOPE not her office line.
This time I was FURIOUS... Kicked her out immediately, said a couple nasty things and she left. She has been sleeping on friends couches now the last week... We are still separated.
I wanted to say the first time she went out with him, she seemed nonchalant, carless, and as I previously said, lazy in her attempt to make this work... This time she is BEGGING to come back, and to this time take it seriously what we said we would work on...and that she will show me.
We did have 4 amazing years together, I did see her as a wife and mother to our one day children (why I pursued an engagement with her). I don't believe she ever cheated before, never have had a urge to check her phone, but clearly we have a major issue here.
We are still separated... But she is asking me to know if she will be given another chance to once again prove that this was just a mishap. I am hurt, confused and exhausted.. Part of me wants to give it a go, part of me thinks that would be entirely idiotic to do so... Regardless of any relationships issue, there cant be another man/woman. PERIOD. How can you fix something when your partner seems to have one foot in? BUT now realizing the seriousness of this all coming to an end, she begs for her last opportunity.
I guess I wondered if any of you out there have been through something similar...

Bar in an upscale full-service restaurant. Servers are consistently making hundreds of dollars more per shift than bartenders. Even though we have an elevated bar program (house made syrups and infusions, specialty cocktails, etc.) Bar work is a LOT, yet we consistently make so much less than servers after all is said and done. Part (a HUGE part) of the problem is the relative size of the restaurant to bar. The behind-the-bar space can accommodate 2 bartenders max, the bar top can accommodate 9 guests max, meanwhile the restaurant capacity is like 200+. That was just poor planning, nothing we can do about that now. The server tipout to bar is already 8% of alcohol sales, I'd hesitate to call for squeezing it more. Bar section is two x 2tops (tiny-ass high tops so not exactly conducive to multi-course dinners and maximizing the upsell). We can sometimes get extra tables if we get the barback to come in, but he doesn't come in Friday and Saturday nights (don't ask why we don't have the barback on the busiest shifts, it's a management failure IMO). In this setup, is there anything we can do to help bar make more $$$? My ideas so far: -change happy hour to only be avaliable in bar and bar section (yes, regular guests will bitch and moan, but it's like order from the bar, pay your bar tab/ tip the bar, and then take your shit to your table) -hire a weekend barback and expand the bar section (if that means cutting 1 server so be it) -adding a 3rd bartender as cocktail server with a full section to split those table tips What else has worked or you seen work for this type of setup? TIA

Basically, me(26f) and my boyfriend of three years are visiting my mum and brother (who live in the same house) for a couple days. It was recently my bf's birthday and when we arrived yesterday, my mum had cooked a lovely meal and even made a cake.
Tonight, we(me and bf) said we would invite (ie we are paying) my mum and brother out to dinner somewhere. So I booked a table for 4 at a nice restaurant nearby. However my mum phoned up a few hours ago saying that she was going to invite a friend she recently met. She's been doing a training course for work all this week and has met some new people.
This friend had invited her out to dinner yesterday, but she couldn't make it so she said "it was polite to invite him to dinner tonight". Also he had traveled a long way for this training course apparently, and didn't know anyone and didn't know where to go. My mum said she felt bad as he was alone, and said he would pay for his own food.
I felt a bit annoyed, just in the way my mum phrased it. "I've invited a friend to dinner tonight that's fine yeah?" Because this dinner was our invitation not hers. But I also feel bad because obviously we're in my mum's house as guests and she made a nice meal for us last night and she can do/invite whoever she wants. Maybe if I was an extrovert (or a nicer person lol) I wouldn't mind another person coming along.
My boyfriend didn't really mind this new friend coming along, but me and my brother told her no, as we wanted it to be just family and felt weird inviting a brand new person. The conversation would be around "So what do you do, where are you from etc", and I just can't be arsed having those types of conversations tonight, I'm exhausted and it's been a long week at work. Then my mum was upset because she said now she has to cancel with him?? She has to cancel with this random guy who she just met this week and was never even invited.
Cut to about 10 minutes ago, my mum is now saying that she was wanting to invite this guy because he has cancer and only 3 months to live??? WTF. Now I feel guilty for saying no to this person I've never even met but who is probably just a nice bloke who has cancer. But now if we invite him again it's like a pity invite. I don't know what to do. And I'm really annoyed at my mum for making it awkward!

I’m training to be a teacher. In the period between finishing uni and starting my PGCE course I took up a job working at a local restaurant, as well as doing some private tuition on the weekends.
A few days ago, one of my student’s families came into the restaurant to eat, and I happened to be serving their table. I was happy to see them as they have been incredibly nice to me whilst I’ve been tutoring their kid. My manager overheard our conversation and came over to chat, asking how I knew these people. Basically, me(26f) and my boyfriend of three years are visiting my mum and brother (who live in the same house) for a couple days. It was recently my bf's birthday and when we arrived yesterday, my mum had cooked a lovely meal and even made a cake.
Tonight, we said we would invite my mum and brother out to dinner somewhere. So I booked a table for 4 at a nice restaurant nearby. However my mum phoned up a few hours ago saying that she was going to invite a friend she recently met. She's been doing a training course for work all this week and has met some new people.
This friend had invited her out to dinner yesterday, but she couldn't make it so she said "it was polite to invite him to dinner tonight". Also he had traveled a long way for this training course apparently, and didn't know anyone and didn't know where to go. My mum said she felt bad as he was alone, and said he would pay for his own food.
I felt a bit annoyed, just in the way my mum phrased it. "I've invited a friend to dinner tonight that's fine yeah?" I'm a bit of an introvert, so is my brother. We both don't really like socializing with new people, especially last minute with no warning. I was wanting it to just be a family thing. Also it would be weird him paying for his own dinner?? Surely we should pay for him. Also why can't my mum just go out for dinner with him separately on another day?
My boyfriend didn't really mind this new friend coming along, but me and my brother told her no, as we wanted it to be just family and felt weird inviting a brand new person. The conversation would be around "So what do you do, where are you from etc", and I just can't be arsed having those types of conversations tonight, I'm exhausted and it's been a long week at work. Then my mum was upset because she said now she has to cancel with him?? Like this random guy was never even invited, what the hell.
I feel bad because obviously we're in my mum's house as guests and she made a nice meal last night and she can do whatever she wants. But this dinner was OUR invitation not hers. I feel like a bad person.
Cut to about 10 minutes ago, my mum is now saying that she was wanting to invite this guy because he has cancer and only 3 months to live??? WTF. Now I feel guilty for saying no to this person I've never met but who is probably really nice and has cancer. But now if we invite him it's like a pity invite. I don't know what to do. And I'm really annoyed at my mum for making it awkward!!
Pro tip: if someone invites you out to dinner, don't invite a random person.
