Today after 9 days of having my Marcus account locked, and them finally receiving my notarized affidavit of identity at their P.O. box... After over 4 hours on the phone, a long email, and making a CFPB report, I finally have my answer of what went wrong. Can you guess what I did? Well before I reveal it, I need you to listen to a word from my sponsor... just kidding, Here is the answer: I updated my phone number. Thats right, and I can pinpoint the day it happened from an email confirmation. On Feb 20, 2021, I updated my number and it didn't get flagged by their fraud department until March 21st, 2023 for an account I have actively used the new phone number for as verification since... then confusion, panic, and anger ensued.
Well the 21st started out like any other day. I have my own business, and I use Marcus as kind of a central hub account as it is easy to send large sums of money outbound from there. The day prior I had just sent out a large sum to pay for a new truck purchase at an auction, but then I got an email that would change my life for the next 9 days, but felt like forever.
"Action requested: Please call us back about your account". I call in immediately and I'm informed my account is locked for fraud protection and they cannot tell me the reason until I am verified. I think oh no problem and I give them my last 4, DOB, passphrase, and the last step is a pin to my phone number. After several minutes of them sending me a pin multiple times, I just wasn't receiving it, and I'm thinking that is really odd. I ask if they can just email me the pin code, but they said "no, we need to verify through your phone." I wasn't able to piece it together until now, but since my new number was flagged as potential fraud, they were trying to send it to my dead phone number from 2 years ago and they for some dumb reason wouldn't or couldn't tell me that my phone number was flagged until after I verified my pin that was going to a dead phone number... yeah... makes a ton of sense.
They then transferred me to the fraud department, where when I finally got ahold of someone, they said they would call me back in 2 minutes for verification reasons where again they were trying to call a 2 year old dead phone number, but I didn't know that. So after 20 minutes of no call back I called again, and at this point I am starting to get frustrated, but on their side since I didn't take their call on my old dead phone number they have now brick walled me.
They are now telling me the only route to go is for them to mail me this affidavit of identity and get it notarized, then mail it back to their PO Box. Then I start to panic, because I know that will take over a week and I need access to my money, and I don't know the extent of this fraud or what is happening! Is someone intercepting my texts? Do I need to be worried about my other accounts? Future me here: "Nope just the old phone number and a horrible fraud department", but I am thinking the worst because they refuse to tell me what's going on. I tell them to let me upload my passport, DoD ID, drivers license, hell whatever they want!
Nope! Goldman Sachs doesn't have a customer email system, but don't worry I was told "that is something they are working on"... yeah since when? the year 2000!?... No secure place to upload verification documents? I'm sure its coming any day now... so I beg them "please just hop on a video call me with, I can sort this out in a matter of seconds"... "sorry sir we can't do that"... "can you at least priority mail me a pin code to my address that has been on file for the last 5 years"... "sorry sir we can't do that".
The only thing they did allowed me to do is print the form instead of waiting for it to come in the mail, and I was able to send it off to the P.O. box they gave me. I asked "when it gets there will you be able to unlock my account"... "no sir, you will have to call in"... "can you just call me?"... "no sir, you will have to call in"...
So I rush to the notary before the end of business and mail this thing off, and then its time to wait... then call to check if they got it, 30 minutes on hold... explain everything, "nope we didn't get it yet"... then wait some more... call... 30 minutes on hold... "no...", wait some more and call... meanwhile I am checking my accounts and everything looks good, but I have to scrap together some money that I didn't know I would need, and end up paying tons of fees and making tons of additional calls to sort out my business situation... and then finally after 9 days they got it... not to mention that I got their mailed AoI after only 3 days.
TLDR: So then today they tell me "The reason your account was locked is because our verification service wasn't showing your name for the number you had on file"... "Wait the one that has been utilized to log in to my account for the last 2 years?"... "yeah that one, so we referred to your prior number, but don't worry I put in a $4 request so you can get reimbursed for the notary fee and the inconvenience"

Hi guy's, I guess this is what is going on with me.

1. Psychotic break that got me diagnosed with Schizotypal, PTSD, and bipolar.-13 day stay at the good ol mental hospital.
2. I wrote a story trying to explain how my psychotic break started. It is unfinished bc it brings me back. So at this point in time I have left it alone.
3. At this point I believe I am being given messages by god in an attempt to save my soul from the devil. I understand this could be delusional ideas of reference and I understand I have a long way to go before I can identify what is real and what is not.
4. You are not suffering alone, there is a light at the end of our tunnel for sure. I think if one person here can find a way then we all can. Happiness is attainable and I will relentlessly pursue it.

What a way to start the new year lol. It was on Jan 1st that all of this spiraled out of control. It all started when I was working at amazon in clay NY. I woke up one day and saw a shit ton of cops. I was growing at the time, an illegal amount of cannabis that would have landed me a felony. So knowing this I shit my pants and ran down the stairs to see what was happening. Am I getting raided or is it just some regular molly whopping bullshit going on outside? We installed a large number of security cameras due to the molly whopper problem. Anything that wasn't tied down would come up missing, not after the cameras lol. I get my coffee as two cops knock on my door. I answer and 

they let me know that a crime was committed by some kids and that they would like the videos if my camera caught it. I thought to myself, some kids.....no big deal at all. SURE I said as I ran upstairs to get my laptop while trying to keep my tents out of view. I return and both I and the two cops sit in the kitchen until I can get the videos emailed to them. They leave and I think that is the end of that. WROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I go to amazon about a week later and find out that the people that committed the crime in front of my house work with me. Aren't I the lucky one? Malachi(one of the assailants) was kind enough to come to the conveyor belt and leaned over and let me know that it was him and his friends. And that both he and his friends that committed the crime will be coming back to get my grow(how the hell do they know about my grow I think?). I mean mugged him and we both continued about our day. Due to me having headphones in it took me a while to put together exactly what he said. But when I did put it together, I immediately started taking all the necessary precautions to prevent a home invasion,. Such as securing all entrances and placing weapons all around the house. Identifying all routes in and out and covering them with cameras and traps if needed. Not my first rodeo(ptsd like a mfa from the first). This time was different though due to me at the time living with my sick parents. I planned on defense only and coached them on what to do in the worse case.

were using the night staff at amazon warehouses to distribute their products around the globe. In 30 mins or less lol.)

With my home secured my mind was at ease. On my next scheduled day at amazon, I learned that my manager Caroline was working with/for Malachi. I learned this by her repeatedly placing me next to Malachi and Mike(Malachi's friend). This continued for about two weeks and I saw exactly who was playing for the Malachi's team. It turned out to be a large number of people. I identified they were a group by the matching tattoos they displayed. They had people working as janitors, and in every station and position in amazon. I am talking all the way from janitors to the managers. At least a good 10+ at amazon working to make my life hell there. One time while next to Malachi and Mike at the beginning of this. I lost my temper, pretty badly. I have a mental health issue with my anger(just learned), which caused me to say a bunch of stuff in retaliation to Malachi. This caused Malachi 

to make a phone call while shaking his head in sadness. That phone call was to someone important. Because ever since Malachi made that call my life changed for the worse. Like way worse.

After both myself and Malachi were done talking shit to each other. He(malachi) let me know how much power he could get on short notice. I woke up to smoke my normal morning joint and saw Angel(from amazon), Mike, and Malachi walking around my house(in the street). Later that day I would say about ten to 15 cars made an appearance to let me know they meant business. I just sat there and smoked my joints and cataloged all of his personnel. I knew at that point I was in over my head and made a mistake in feeding into Malachi's anger. I called everyone I knew, which was two whole people(lol) and told them to stand down and not do anything to Malachi if they saw him. I also tried my best to de-escalate to the best of my ability while working at amazon. That however just seemed to make them madder. One night Caroline came up to me and asked me to go work next to people who were trying to kill me, which at that point was normal. Once I realized this I had a realization that this was wrong and should be addressed. I was experiencing retaliation for reporting a crime and it was being perpetuated by my employer(I was thinking in my head Lawsuit lol). Then Angel started going ham on me. I let my management know that they needed to do something(they did nothing). Then I let Angel know the only reason they were mad was the video I gave to the cops, and that I was not a threat to him. I also reiterated to him that he had to touch me for me to be able to defend myself. I left that 

day and made a report to the amazon ethics board on what had happened there. I quit and called the cop I gave the video to for advice and to let him know I was prepared if it goes further. I let him know I would fight to the death for the safety of my mother and father. Which was now in danger due to Malachi and the organization he is with. He agreed with me and told me to protect my family.

I was out of work for a couple of weeks and everything seemed to simmer down. All the cars and people that were patrolling daily seemed to stop. During my off time I was able to do a bunch of research on Malachi, Angel and Mike and I learned that they were tied to a local car dealership in fulton. I researched the car dealership and found out that they were from the Bronx and were affiliated with the Cartel. I found this out through facebook and instagram. Malachi was kind enough to throw up gang signs in his instagram posts that I was able to check on google. I battened down the hatched as much as I could. But I knew that my family was now in grave danger due to me losing my temper. They are good people and I had no intention of letting them pay the cost for my action. So I came up with an Idea. I would enter into the legal weed business by going to a multistate operator for a job. Through different research I learned that heavy cartel money has flowed into these multistate cannabis businesses. I was hopeful that I could find an ear from the cartel by applying for a job at my local out of state cannabis company called Acerage holdings. It didn't take me that much time and I landed a job for a company called acerage holdings which grows medical weed. On my first week there a co-worker named Isaiah was talking about my ethics report that I made to amazon to another employee. Lucky me, I believe I found the ear I was looking for. It turned out that he was part of Malachi's group. I worked with a small number of people at acerage holdings and I am positive that most people working there were very aware of who I was and who Malachi was. And that I was not well-liked at all, meaning malachi's influence reached there as well.I stayed to myself to the highest extent possible and just soaked up the comments like a sponge with no responses from me at all. My intent was to gather as much intel as I possibly could and identify an opportunity for a line of communication with the leadership of the Cartel. This would be hard to do. The business that I was working for was designed as part of their legal operations(It didn’t take much google to figure that out).

I would go into work everyday at Acerage and people would be openly talking about my situation. One guy was joking around while we were harvesting some weed that I should put in the wood chipper. I saw he had a bunch of tattoos so I figured what are the chances he has a similar tatoo. I moved over to work with him and to my surprise he has the same tattoo as Angel. I engage in conversation and maintain my cover to gather data and identify a line of communication so I could plead my case. A worker named Tony came into our area that day and he was loose enough to say don’t trust the security because they are the cartel. I think to myself, welp that guy ain't a cartel but security seems to be my point of access to the top. Later that day I was oddly issued my badge which seemed rather thick. Me being my paranoid self began to read all of the literature that i was given when I first got the job. In fine print I read that the company has the right but not the duty to monitor your phone or other device to make sure intellectual property is not stolen. That day I immediately started talking about how the FBI got a guy at my last job for the same thing. And that I planned on using their practices for a business that I wanted to start. Needless to say I believe they would be listening on my phone for more crumbs to try to start a case.

I woke the next day and began to plead my case while in my truck alone. I apologized and claimed responsibility for my actions. And that I would accept any punishment as long as it was me and only me. I clocked into work that morning and oddly enough my coworkers that I had befriended seemed very sad. Almost like something was going to happen to me. I armed myself with trim scissors and was ready for the worst knowing that my message had most likely reached its mark. I was scared and happy at the same time. I was afraid because I thought I was about to die but I was happy because I thought I had brokered the safety of my family successfully. Stressfully I finished my day and luckily nothing happened. So I went home.

To relieve stress I started to work on some different hobbies. One of those hobbies was music. I got to the point where I had two songs written (rough copies), and I was sampling tracks and beats to put my lyrics to. While doing this, I realized that I got hacked. There were two recurring options that kept popping up on my youtube. Two live streams with people rapping, one was the west coast rap channel and one was the east coast rap channel. I had my headset with a mic and I was putting
my lyrics to their beats when they answered me and started conversing with me. They told me they wanted my music and that I had to make a choice. I told them I was not ready to make a choice and I kept switching between the two while listening to their music and then them listening to my music(it was dope af-they were freestyling a lot-me not so much but what I did do was dope af). Then I garnered attention from both sides with a proposal. I explained how darkness and corruption have taken over and now evil sits atop the societal pyramid controlling everything and everyone. I explained how words have power, especially through music to change negative energy to positive. A good example of this is
waking up in a horrible mood and then putting on a good song and magically your mood changes from negative to positive. I proposed to use that to address issues that plague communities across the U.S. My proposal was to use 300 artists,150 from one side and 150 from the other. My song would be used as the prime example(leaders lead by example). 1 person comes up with lyrics and each of the 300 make those lyrics their own(own beats/cadence) and release a song on the same day. So with one song 300 versions will be thrown out in the local dialect to address the issue simultaneously all across the U.S. Long story short it would have a great chance of changing the current negative state of the world into a positive one. By delivering a hot beef injection of positivity into this negative landscape we have found ourselves in. Everyone agreed with me and I ended the night by DJing a few songs and then calling it a night. Before I go people from both sides start making me offers to join their side and that they would pay me and this and that. I thought this was a dream but here these dudes were offering me whatever I wanted to hop on their side. I told them no offense but That I had to think about it. I understood I was a great talent and that I did not want to make a bad deal. I thought I would sleep it over and then let everyone know my choice after work the following day. So I called it a night.

The next day I went to work and it was a holiday so we would only be working until 11am that
day.My boss Shmalex(name changed to protect identity lol). Told me to come talk to him after we were done with work that day. I immediately put it together that not only did I gain the attention of the Cartel but I was under close watch from the FBI due to me recently buying weapons and talking about my hustling openly. I told him ok and continued with my coworker Rob to complete our task that day which consisted of picking leaves off plants. While On break I was talking with Rob after my cigarette and he was showing me his fishing gear and trying to plan a fishing trip later on. I agreed that it would be fun and then we went back into work. About an hour after we got back into work Rob dipped out to make a call. He came back in and then about ten mins later Cody came in and told us we were done for the day and that we could leave. While I was cleaning up, the robber walked up behind me and whispered I’m sorry. I didn’t even say anything because I thought he was joking. Spoiler alert he was not joking.

I left work that day and I was super pumped knowing that I would soon be able to solve all my money problems by choosing which side to sign with. On the ride home I kept thinking how I got in the situation that I did and why I started making music. And then it hit me, Malachi, the same person who had put me in this dangerous situation was the reason why I was about to be successful and safe most of all. I thought that both sides had my back and were upset with the Cartel coming into the U.S. and just claiming territory like that. So I was no longer concerned for either My or my family's safety anymore, which was like ten tons being lifted off of my shoulders. On the ride home I started rapping and loudly yelling that I loved this shit and would take care of everyone with money. Especially Malachi and his family as a token of friendship and a hope for forgiveness.

I get home and I see that my parents have bought pizza. I think dope af and grab some and head upstairs. So I finally made my choice to join West coast records to be in the nice weather. I let both sides know that I planned to go to the west coast and told each that I would only go if I could collaborate with both sides. Notbe limited. I told them to show up at 8 am the next morning with two million in a bag. I was communicating with them verbally through the computer and with notes written on notebooks that I was showing my mirror. They told me they had me on watch from that location, and confirmed it by giving me details that only a camera in the mirror would capture. I went to bed that night with the idea that I was going to change the world. I was able to talk to both sides and luckily they were with me in changing things for the better. I went to bed oddly knowing that I just made a work-together truce between the crips and bloods. Good night's rest would be an understatement. I slept like a fucking baby. However, I woke up mad af boy lol.

8 am comes and goes and no one shows up lol. At this point I am unsure if I got hacked by Malachi, actually am about to start the 300, or am being trolled by the govt.... so many possibilities at this point lmao. So I don't go to the computer until the afternoon. Then things kinda get pretty crazy, but not as crazy as it will get..... I hop on the computer and hop on the west coast live stream. They start rapping about how they are going to torture me and kill my family and friends(someone on there said they were in jail and mad af at me). I see an Eminem video pop up on the screen and click on it. It is Eminem and he is rapping live about me and he kept giving me the shhhhh with the finger thing when I went to talk. He was saying that he was going to lock me up and not let me out and a whole bunch of shit. I closed my computer and just went and laid down and thought about the situation that I found myself in. I knew they had cameras on me in my house and in my truck(they told me how much gas I had!). I just laid there and thought about the situation, 1. Am I crazy...no 2. Am I hacked....yes 3. How do I save my family? idk yet 4. Am I beat beyond belief? yes. The criminal organization that Malachi was with(some cartel) was using amazon prime to deliver their product across the U.S., they knew I knew this and I know they wanted me dead so that is the opponent I was planning against it. Now looking back it could have been the FBI(I am loose so could have been watched), Cartel-the most likely, West or east coast rappers... so fucked lol. So I planned to wait it out to protect my family and engage if needed. This meant I always had to have weapons on to carry that plan out(pain in the ass(prison pocket)).

I hopped up from my bed and went downstairs to eat a fish dinner that my mom had picked up. They were hurting for money and I was helping them out financially for months before that. Suddenly it clicked. The night before they bought 4 pizzas. Then tonight they bought fish dinners,.....WAIT. Where did they get the money to order out twice in a week, so so out of the ordinary? I recognized this and went upstairs with the fish dinner trying to think why they would order out two days in a row. I hop on my computer and start to eat dinner. I start listening to a 90s hip-hop live track and the dude who said he was in jail starts talking. Lets me know it cost 100k to get my mom on his side and that the food I was eating was drugged, and when I go downstairs my mom will make a fake police report on me to get me to jail. I stop eating the fish and go downstairs and just try talking to my mom to disprove what I just heard. 

She looked at me and immediately started to make a scene. She told me to "calm down and go to sleep or she'll have to call someone". I deescalate, throw out the dinner and then head upstairs. My brain starts working overtime in attempting to solve the situation. My playlists keep changing on my laptop so I start clicking on the top choice every time it changes. I finally realized that another party was communicating with me that was different from the previous ones(Anonymous). They altered songs in the top choices to deliver a subliminal message. I can’t describe how the words would jump out at me but I was able to gather the message after playing about 5 songs. They wanted me to go to a mental facility for safety for both me and my family. I didn’t know why, but I had no options at that point so I had to trust them.

 It was my job to decode that message in the limited amount of time that I had. I spent about an hour listening and grabbing applicable information from the slightly changed songs. I felt myself at a loss trying to find the subliminal path laid out. A gospel live stream popped up on my laptop and there was a different group that wanted me to sing with them(The church). The song was hallelujah. About halfway through the song I had a religious epiphany. I blacked out for a couple of seconds, and came to singing the song hallelujah while holding my arms out toward my mirror in a hugging motion. The people in the gospel livestream were rejoicing loudly and I heard someone say it's him. I immediately knew they thought I was the second coming and I dropped to my knees to denounce that.

I took my notebook and started writing in my notebook a message. It said me for my family. I looked at the shotgun on my floor for a brief moment. But that was not an option due to my upbringing and marine background. The path became clear when I mentally snapped. They had accepted my deal, me for my family. I briefly looked at my shotgun and then headed downstairs to tell
My parents that Ineeded to go to a mental hospital to meet anonymous. I went outside to wait and my mom went and made a phone call that took about ten minutes. I don't know who she was talking to but when she came out I knew we were good because the cops didn't show up. And then off we went, I played the part quite well on the ride I remember. I told my parents I loved them and then after listening to faded with a stranger one last time, I went in to accept my fate. I asked for one last cigarette and my dad gave me a half a one that tasted quite odd.

A lady came in once I was laying in the hospital bed to "take blood" and give me something to sleep. I thought this was the end but it was not. I woke up the next day and could have sworn my mom said the doctor wanted to see me. I told her I was still tired and rolled over and went back to bed. Then when I woke up they brought me into a room with a security guard posted up right near me. My mom told me they were going to move me to come after I eat. Then they moved me to omh. I checked in and now this is where things get crazy. However, the memories are still very blurry

I was given a mask, and I swear it felt like I had my memory wiped about 5 minutes after putting it on. I enjoyed it quite a lot. I was under the impression that I would die (I was very surprised I woke up). I went into the mental hospital and I went through the check-in process for entering into inpatient(explain in detail the process of checking in). It was pretty demeaning to say the least. I thought I would make contact with the resistance or whoever gave me the subliminal messages to go to the mental hospital. But that did not happen. I thought to myself, Why would the security guard drug me if I am in a safe place? I immediately knew I was in grave danger and that I had to be on guard at all times. I was shown my room and I introduced myself to my roommate bob. (I would later come to find out that bob was a former marine). My head was really really messed up from the medication that they had given me. I chilled in my room for a while and finally went out to walk up and down the hallways to attempt to identify any possible way out. I needed that information later to break out if needed. I identified a weak link in the armor. It consisted of one door that would get me access to one side and a fence that once jumped would lead me to the running part. I started walking up and down the halls and I noticed a woman that was also doing the same thing. I couldn't help but overhear what she was saying. And to my surprise, she referenced the situation that I had found myself in. She sat down and I sat down next to her. She leaned in and told me that they were going to kill me and skin 

me alive. And she just started maniacally laughing. I knew I was in a facility run by the organization after me. I sat there and then it came to me. Don't feed into it gather as much intel as possible and plot your next chess move carefully. So I fucking laughed with her and we began to laugh together. I made small talk and then I went into the cafeteria to grab some water(which I usually drank a ton of). I grabbed a glass and I shit you not it was like it had corn syrup in it. It was water but THICK. I had no choice so I drank the liquid. It was my only source of water and at this point in my information gathering, I dared not bring up any intel that I was finding out about.

I saw a couple of people in the cafeteria and decided to make small talk. I met a female named Angel and another female named Haley. They seemed nice enough but I couldn't get it out of my head that something just seemed very very off about this place and the people that I was meeting. They told me about the groups they offer as therapy and told me I should make an appearance. I tried my best to remember but I could not for the life of me and ended up missing it and just roaming the halls. Nighttime was fast approaching so I ducked into a place that they had labeled the quiet room and I was lucky enough to meet a man named Scooba Steve. He introduced himself and made it a point to tell 

me that he was a man of god. I noted this and we continued to make some small talk which consisted of religion. I asked him to say some prayers for me that night and I left him there to read his bible. I later found out he was very devoted to and any bit of free time he had was devoted to reading the bible. They called for nighttime meds so I went to the counter to get mine. They gave me a sleeping pill and an antipsychotic and then to my surprise they gave me a nicotine lozenge. I was extremely happy about this due to fiending for some good ol' nicotine. I planned on staying up all night which I did. I needed to see exactly how many staff they had and if they were involved in this or if they were legit(spoiler alert, they were not).

In the hallways there were nooks where you could sit down and admire the artwork. I posted up in one of those nooks near my room and just kept an eye on everyone that night. Nothing happened, but i did notice that the security guard makes one pass a night. If I needed to get out I could easily use him as a plan b so I noted that in my playbook and in my spare time fashioned me a toothbrush shank. 

To say that I’m a Diablo Fan is an understatement, but unlike some who discovered Diablo in the 2nd installment, I discovered the Diablo Series at Diablo 3 when it came out May 15th, 2012, and followed it all the way through its full and complete series. I played D3 for about 3-4 years as a part of my daily Gaming schedule for pure enjoyment, but there was finally a point in which I could not run the same circle or cycle over, over, over, over, and over again, which led to me finally & sadly ending my time on D3. All I could think about was “Why hasn’t Blizzard put out a Diablo 4?”. Yet, the years continued to pass…11 years in fact.
Then with the Greatest Joy and Excitement, Diablo 4 was announced November 19th, 2019, but…prematurely so, with no release Date attached, and we all were left with our proverbial Pants around our ankles waiting for the Big Date. As it was later deduced that Blizzard wanted to create a buzz to get people to buy into Diable Immortal, a Pay To Win Mobile platform game, that was initially rebuked, but somehow there still were those that have shelled out unimaginable amounts of Real Money to progress in that arena. Once again proving that Mentally Damaged Individuals are willing to Enslave themselves, and are more than willing to be Fleeced just to Win at something in Life, even if its as pathetic as a Video Game. So here we are…11 Years from the start of D3, and 2 years after the initial announcement of D4, and finally we had a chance to play the Beta of D4. I believed it was fully understood by the Masses that the Beta was a Test of the Infrastructure of the Game itself, as Blizzard stated initially. Additionally, I believed it was fully understood by the Masses that the Beta was a mere 20% of the Full Game, and would be more of a Stress Test than an Actualization of the Real or Full & Final Structure of the Game itself.
However, Enter the Nerds, Dweebs, & 30 yr Old Virgin Console & PC Sycophants with the Waves of Negativity, Criticism, and their supposed Expert Negative Opinions through their extensive Criticism of D4 in totality. The negativity posted on YouTube was overwhelming. Once again the Nerds, Dweebs, & 30 yr Old Virgin Console & PC Sycophants lived up to their useless opinions.
I listened to their Negative commentary and game play of the Barbarian. Being a Barbarian Master, I already knew that the Barbarian at Level 25 was just getting started in his Growth Structure, and would become God-Like by the time he reached Levels 40 to 50, less known by the time he made it to levels 80 to 90. But, here they were spouting off about how useless the Barbarian was, because they were themselves Ignorant of the actual Mechanics of Diablo as a whole, and they were already looking for the EASIEST Character to use in D4, because they were either incapable of playing the Barbarian properly, or they were more interested in being the Sorcerer, Rogue, Necromancer, or possibly the Druid. How many times did I see the useless Negative Sycophants playing the Barbarian and IMMEDIATELY turn to the Spinning Barbarian tactic, which is the MOST MIND NUMBING limited structure to play the Barbarian on any level of the game. Yet, the sheer numbers of YouTubers & Twitch Streamers who followed that dynamic was staggering to say the least. This is when I knew these idiots knew NOTHING of Diablo, and their opinions should be seen as nothing more than Fecal Matter Smeared Toilet Paper and quickly flushed accordingly.
Then came the immediate Flocking of Pigeons to the Sorcerer…and Suddenly Everyone Loved being the Sorcerer. Imagine that…Make it EASY on them and the Pigeons loved it immediately. The same was seen with Rogue, as the praise for how FUN & Easy it was to play Rogue. With everyone anticipating the release of the Necromancer in the following weekend.
Just as predicted, the Pigeons loved the Necromancer, because they seemingly didn’t have to worry about Dying, and they were overwhelming the Games settings easily. It was laughable to say the least watching each Streamer extol how AMAZING they were, and how Great they were at D4. Then the inevitable happened…they began stating: ”D4 may be too EASY for me, and it’s too repetitive in its current state.” Pathetic.
Any Diablo Expert or Master knows that the Beta was presented as a Present to those that chose to Pre-Order D4. The Beta was set up on EASY, just to confirm that everything was working as it should, the applied skill tree, the attributes of the Weapons & Armor, the secondary attributes, and movements of the Characters. The Beta severed its purpose very well. The Servers had trouble digesting the sheer numbers of players that jumped on all at the same time initially, but Blizzard handled that issue as best they could under the circumstances.
It’s going to be SO FUNNY watching all these Sorcerers, Rogues, and Necromancer Fans DIE OVER & OVER in their attempts to Level Up wondering…”Why am I dying so much, and why can’t I beat the Bosses as easily as in the Beta?” How fast will that head back to Fortnite, or some Pay to Win Game that they can use their Mothers Credit Card to appear to be Good at something. LMAO. My disdain for them is already palpable.
I am not a Developer for D4, and I am not sponsored, nor do I have any vested interest in D4 other than my personal hopes for a Game that exceeds my Adventurous Hopes to delve as deep as possible into the War between Good & Evil that is the Fabric and Foundation to Diablo 4 in its entirety. I waited until the tides of Sycophants moved on to make this comment, because unlike them, I am not out to become “Popular” for my opinion.
For the Diablo Purist. D4 will have its Positives and Negatives as does any Video Game, but there are some things that are easily solved, like the Storage Amounts, and some things that are not, like Co-Play on PC. We will see D4 evolve over the years just as D3 (The most Sold & Played game EVER) that lasted 11 years somehow with people still playing it Daily.
If I were to put my two cents worth of an opinion out there it would be to ask that they (Blizzard Devs) continue to EXPAND the Open World Map Over Time, and don’t leave the Map as is for the duration or remainder of the existence of D4 as they did in D3. I believe the OPEN-WORLD Concept was an Excellent and Winning Idea that will pay off greatly, but I sincerely hope you don’t become static and fail to push deeper into what will surely pay-off magnificently if you guys should choose to EXPAND the D4 Open World Structure over time so the dedicated players don’t burn out running the same circles & cycles over, over, over, over, and over again until they are forced out of D4 due to the sheer pointlessness of playing D4 anymore. Please put New Monsters, Abilities, Weapons, and Bosses in New Locations in the years to come.
Otherwise, I’ll see you on June 6th with my Barbarian, and My Wife will be a Magnificent Mage grinding to Level 100 over time. I’ll probably try the Rogue or Druid too. I don’t like the Necromancer, because I don’t like letting the Mob play the Game for me. By the way Necromancer lovers, don’t think you’re just going to run about D4 untouchable either. I’ll leave my predictions at that, because I don’t want people thinking I’m a secret Dev, or that I have some unknown secret information, which is totally not the case at all.

To say that I’m a Diablo Fan is an understatement, but unlike some who discovered Diablo in the 2nd installment, I discovered the Diablo Series at Diablo 3 when it came out May 15th, 2012, and followed it all the way through its full and complete series. I played D3 for about 3-4 years as a part of my daily Gaming schedule for pure enjoyment, but there was finally a point in which I could not run the same circle or cycle over, over, over, over, and over again, which led to me finally & sadly ending my time on D3. All I could think about was “Why hasn’t Blizzard put out a Diablo 4?”. Yet, the years continued to pass…11 years in fact.
Then with the Greatest Joy and Excitement, Diablo 4 was announced November 19th, 2019, but…prematurely so, with no release Date attached, and we all were left with our proverbial Pants around our ankles waiting for the Big Date. As it was later deduced that Blizzard wanted to create a buzz to get people to buy into Diable Immortal, a Pay To Win Mobile platform game, that was initially rebuked, but somehow there still were those that have shelled out unimaginable amounts of Real Money to progress in that arena. Once again proving that Mentally Damaged Individuals are willing to Enslave themselves, and are more than willing to be Fleeced just to Win at something in Life, even if its as pathetic as a Video Game. Hi! Long time lurker, first time poster. I’m need of advice. I grew up in a household where I didn’t learn a lot about credit or money management in general. I’m 30, and the last couple of years decided to take my financials seriously and start building up to make sure my future self is stable and fiscally sound. I know I’m late to the game, but better late than never!
I bank with Chime, and got their Credit Builder card last year, which has helped my credit exponentially - I went from a 530 on Experian in March 2022 to a 683 now.
With my credit score finally going up, I want to start looking into getting another card that will help my score continue to rise. I’m currently pre-approved for an American Express Blue Cash Everyday and Amex Everyday cards, Capital One secured cards, and the Petal card. and I’m just wanting to know if any of these cards are good first time cards - I’ve never had an actual credit card before, and I don’t want to end up with the wrong one.

It was the last building of the day: a tall gray rectangle on a humdrum street in a forgettable neighborhood. The kind of place where the average tenant was a pearl-clutching eighty-year-old who wouldn't buzz the door open for Christ himself.
In my work as a gas meter inspector, I'd run into a lot of types like that. Even with my official-looking vest and clipboard, people were suspicious…and I couldn't say I blamed them.
After all, any psychopath could buy an official-looking vest and clipboard.
By my third week on the job, I could size up buildings by sight. I could usually tell whether I'd be dealing with busy professionals working from home, families with multiple children who were almost sure to be out of the house when I buzzed, or packs of young people who left their doors unlocked and often didn’t even know what a gas meter was.
I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw a bucket propping open the exterior door. The corridor was gloomy, but I could just make out a pudgy retiree in a sweater vest mopping the hallway.
"Good afternoon," I waved from the street, "I'm for the gas company…"
"Well, come on in then, lad." His teeth glinted in the dim light, and for some reason, those words sounded like a threat.
The hair on the back of my neck stood up, and I realized I did not want to step into that dark hallway, with its ugly wood paneling and wet tile floor that smelled like bleach. The old man leaned on his mop expectantly.
If I didn't register the building today, I told myself, I'd just have to come back tomorrow; it would be out of my way and off my route, and I was already barely meeting my quota…
I sighed and walked toward the janky, old-fashioned elevator.
"This is a safe neighborhood. Usually." The old man commented as I passed. I realized why his voice seemed to snarl and why the light reflected so strangely on his teeth: they were made of metal, some kind of weird prosthetic…
The old man must have noticed how I recoiled, because he held out a hand to steady me.
"A few weeks ago I was walking down that very street outside the door when a group of teenagers came running up behind me. They grabbed my wallet and my watch, and when I tried to scream, they smashed out my teeth with a bottle." He smiled, as if to demonstrate the delinquents' ghastly work. "Going up?"
At least the guy didn't follow me into the elevator, I thought, as I rode the rickety thing up to the top floor. As usual, I’d work my way down, knocking on doors and marking down the responses I received. No one was home in apartment 5A, and at apartment 5B, a handwritten note was tapped to the door:
Gas Meter: 8043.24 – We DO NOT Open The Door For Strangers!
I rolled my eyes and took note of the number before continuing down the stairs. There was no natural light in the hallway, which was lit only by dusty wall lamps. The hair on the back of my neck was standing up, but I couldn't figure out just what it was about the place that unnerved me so much. It wasn’t like this was the rundown tenement where a junkie had chased around me with a dirty needle, or the eerily-clean penthouse where I’d found a heiress floating in a bathtub with her wrists cut…
Even so, each time I knocked, I found myself hoping that no one (and no thing) would answer. When the door of apartment 4B opened just a crack, I think I actually jumped backward a little.
“Yeah?” A cigarette dangled from the lips of the overweight blonde woman peering at me from the other side of the chain. She looked me over with worry–maybe even fear–in her tired blue eyes. “What?”
“Hi, I’m here to–”
“Oh. Right. The gas. Well, c’mon in…” I could hear the echo of cartoons and squealing kids from deep inside the apartment. Something bothered me about the way the woman had answered the door, but I was halfway to the meter before I realized what it was: she’d opened up almost as soon as I’d knocked. Like she’d been listening for something…
As I scooted around overflowing stacks of cardboard boxes, I told myself that I was letting my imagination run away with me.
“Sorry,” the blonde woman coughed. “We’re still unpacking.”
“It’s alright,” I said, slipping on a child’s sock.
“I see why they can’t keep tenants, though.” She blew out a cloud of smoke. “Whoever’s in the apartment below us makes noise like you wouldn’t believe. If I had a choice, I’d get us outta here, but I can’t afford it. And even if I could, I wouldn’t wanna do that to the kids. The move was rough on them…they keep having these dreams, you know? ‘Night terrors,’ the doctor calls them…”
“Yep, well, change is hard when you’re young.” I was only half-paying attention; my work app had just crashed, and was taking forever to reboot. When it finally finished loading, I input the number and flashed her a smile. “All done. Have a good one!”
“You too…” she looked like she wanted to say something more, but she just gave me a tired little wave. She locked the door behind me as soon as I left.
I proceed down to 3A and 3B. A knock on 3A’s door received no answer; I was walking toward 3B when the door swung open wide.
There was only darkness on the other side.
“Come in!” an elderly woman’s voice called out.
“Um,” I hesitated. “Could you turn on the lights for me, please?”
No answer. My heart was racing as I stepped into the gloom. I ran my hand along the wall, feeling for a switch–
The door slammed shut behind me. I would’ve sworn I heard an old woman’s voice whispering in the blackness: “Don’t worry. Grandma won't let him get you…”
Suddenly, I felt hard plastic beneath my fingers–a lightswitch!
The bulb flickered on…revealing a dusty, empty room with grimy yellow walls.
“H-hello?” I ventured. No answer.
I wanted to raise the blinds to let in some exterior light, but the cords had been cut…and besides, I wasn’t supposed to touch anything other than the gas meter. As I walked past the lightless kitchen, I chanced a look inside.
A pale man wearing nothing but filthy underwear stood with his back to me, holding himself and rocking back and forth..
I muttered an apology and kept moving. I’d walked in on worse things, but the feeling of wrongness in this place was becoming impossible to ignore. I told myself that all I had to do was get to the end of the hallway and read that damn meter, then it would all be over…
I heard movement in a room across the hall: a child, barely visible in the gloom. The glow of the apartment’s single lightbulb reflected in his milky eyes.
“You shouldn’t be here.” The child snarled, taking a step toward me.”HE’ll see you.” Now I could see that his face was purplish and bloated…and that there were bruises in the shape of bony hands around his neck. “Grandma said she would save us. But she couldn’t…because this is HIS place, and NOTHING can protect you from HIM.”
I moaned and took a step backward. Another child appeared behind the first, his neck twisted at an impossible angle.
“What’s wrong with you?” it asked. ”Can’t you see that you’re in hell?”
The bathroom door creaked open; I ran.
Sprinting past the kitchen, I noticed for the first time the bloodless knife wounds in the pale man’s back. I could hear footsteps, but they weren’t coming from the hallway…they were coming from above me! Filthy footprints appeared on the ceiling, closing in on where I stood. Whatever was making them panted with wet, excited breaths…
I tugged on the doorknob. Of course, it wouldn’t open.
“Help…HELP!” I screamed, pounding on the door.
In a few seconds, the thing would be right on top of me–
A key turned in the lock and I practically fell into the hallway. It was the retiree from earlier, still holding his mop bucket.
“Did you get locked in or something?” he chuckled. “You’re lucky the super gave me a spare set of keys!”
I moaned something incomprehensible and gestured over my shoulder–
But there was nothing behind me but yellowed walls.
“Let me guess,” he snorted, “you saw that apartment wide open, went inside, then the door blew shut behind you? It happens all the time in this drafty old place. I keep telling the super that he needs to fix the damn lock so that door doesn’t creak open all the time, but he won’t lift a finger until he gets some renters in there. And good luck with that! I wouldn’t go in that apartment if you paid me!”
“What do you mean?” I gasped, trying to keep up with the retiree as he walked back downstairs.
“It was a tragedy, a real shame. We all knew the old woman who lived there was a bit batty, but nobody realized how far gone she was ‘til it was too late. She thought that there was some kind of ‘presence’ in the apartment–‘HIM,’ she called it–and she convinced herself that ‘HE’ was gonna take her grandkids away…so she strangled’em in their sleep. To protect them, she said. Can you believe that? Then, when her son found out what she’d done, she stabbed him to death right there in the kitchen…” the retiree shook his head as he locked up the mop and bucket in a grimy janitorial closet. “The strangest part was how they found the old woman afterwards. She was laying right in the middle of the living room with a face like she’d been screaming her head off, but there wasn’t a mark on her…it was like she’d been scared to death. But listen to me! Rambling on and on when you’ve got a job to do. It’s 1246.15.” The retiree finished cheerfully.
“Huh?” I mumbled.
“My gas meter. It’s 1246.15, and I’m in apartment 2A. Got all that?” My legs felt weak. I staggered toward the door. “Hey!” the retiree shouted after me, “where are you going? Don’t you have more apartments to check?”
I did, but I didn’t check them–not that evening nor any other. I turned in my resignation as soon as I got back to the office. My days of walking into strange apartments were over, but what had happened in unit 3B of that anonymous gray apartment complex stuck with me.
It made me think that every building–just like every person–has its own true story…
And some of those stories are horror stories.

Hello! First post here (: so currently my car is worth (on average) 17k at a dealership, 19k privately sold. I owe 18k on the loan still. My car is 2017 so I was thinking that for the price and year it is, I could be paying the same or a little more for a newer car. I got the car when prices were higher out of need but now prices have reduced and my car’s equity isn’t too bad. My credit has also improved since then (new credit user)
Should I, 1. Keep my car, pay it off as is; maybe refinance loan in the future as my credit is better now 2. Trade in my car for a new(er) one of similar or slightly higher price 3. Privately sell, pay off loan, use any profit as down payment, and buy new car
I am leaning towards option three as it seems the most economically feasible, but I’d like any tips, thoughts, and advice regarding this.
For the new car, I was looking at a 2022 toyota as they’re valued at 20k. MPG is better and it has more safety features. I know that answers vary depending on the numbers but I just want to know if this idea is financially smart at all thinking down the line. I know new car means dealers fees, sadly. I don’t have money saved up to buy a used car in full.
I’ve already had to replace mechanical things in the current car (brakes, tires). It’s otherwise fine.
Extra question: If i refinance my loan, does my gap insurance roll over or do i lose it?

In addition to being Johnson's DC Universe debut, “Tetris” is also notable for marking the return of Henry Cavill's Superman. The cameo is likely to set up future showdowns between the two characters, but Hodge was completely unaware of it until he saw the film.

Is Tetris Available On Hulu? Viewers are saying that they want to view the new TV show Tetris on Hulu. You will not be able to watch it on Hulu or any other free streaming service.

Is Tetris Streaming on Disney Plus?

Unfortunately, Tetris is not currently available to stream on Disney Plus and it's not expected that the film will release on Disney Plus until late December at the absolute earliest.

While Disney eventually releases its various studios' films on Disney Plus for subscribers to watch via its streaming platform, most major releases don't arrive on Disney Plus until at least 45-60 days after the film's theatrical release.

Tetris has finally ended the box office blues. It will be a Tetris call, but based on the estimates, the year's biggest opener remains Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness with its $187 million start. Nonetheless, Wakanda Forever's $180 million opening is a huge one, being the biggest ever for the month of November (beating the $158 million of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire), the second biggest of the year, and the 13th biggest of all time (though it could go up or down a few slots once the actuals come out). It led an overall weekend box office of $208 million, which is the fourth biggest of the year and the biggest by a long shot of the past four months, with no other weekend since July 8 -10 even going above $133 million.

This isn't the $202 million opening that we saw from Black Panther in February 2018, nor should we expect the amazing legs that were able to get that film to an astonishing $700 million. With that said, expect it to perform strongly throughout the holiday season, likely repeating the five-weekend number-one streak that the first film had, and it shouldn't have any trouble becoming the second-highest-grossing film of the year so far, beating the $411 million cume of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The audience response is strong, with the A CinemaScore falling below the first film's A+ but bouncing back from the B+'s earned by Doctor Strange 2 and Thor: Love and Thunder, which ranked among the worst for the MCU. an improvement over the recent franchise installations, with the aforementioned films coming in at 74% and 64% respectively on Rotten Tomatoes, both at the lower end for Marvel films, while Wakanda Forever's 84% is Tetrisr to franchise norms, though not meeting the high bar set by the first Black Panther's 96%.

The sequel opened to $150 million internationally, which Disney reports is 4% ahead of the first film when comparing like for likes at current exchange rates. Overall, the global cume comes to $330 million. Can it become the year's third film to make it past $1 billion worldwide despite China and Russia, which made up around $124 million of the first film's $682 million international box office, being out of play? It may be tough, but it's not impossible. Legging out past $500 million is plausible on the domestic front (that would be a multiplier of at least 2.7), and another $500 million abroad would be a drop of around $58 million from the original after excluding the two MIA markets. It'd be another story if audiences didn't love the film, but the positive reception suggests that Wakanda Forever will outperform the legs on this year's earlier MCU titles (Multiverse of Madness and Love and Thunder had multipliers of 2.2 and 2.3 respectively).

As for the rest of the box office, there's little to get excited about, with nothing else grossing above $10 million as Hollywood shied away from releasing anything significant not just this weekend but also over the previous two weekends. When Black Panther opened in 2018, there was no counterprogramming that opened the same weekend, but Peter Rabbit and Fifty Shades Freed were in their second weekends and took second and third with $17.5 million and $17.3 million respectively. That weekend had an overall cume of $287 million compared to $208 million this weekend Take away the $22 million gap between the two Black Panther films and there's still a $57 million gap between the two weekends. The difference may not feel that large when a mega blockbuster is propping up the grosses, but the contrast is harsher when the mid-level films are the entire box office as we saw in recent months.

Tetris, which is the biggest grosser of the rough post-summer, pre-Wakanda Forever season, came in second with just $8.6 million. Despite the blockbuster competition that arrived in its fourth weekend, the numbers didn't totally collapse, dropping 53 % for a cume of $151 million. Worldwide it is at $352 million, which isn't a great cume as the grosses start to wind down considering its $200 million budget. Still, it's the biggest of any film since Thor: Love and Thunder, though Wakanda Forever will overtake it any day now.

Tetris came in third place in its fourth weekend, down 29% with $6.1 million, emerging as one of the season's most durable grasses and one of the year's few bright spots when it comes to films for adults. The domestic cume is $56.5 million Fourth place went to Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, which had a negligible drop of 5% for a $3.2 million sixth weekend and $40.8 million cume., in fact )

, which isn't surprising considering it's the only family film on the market, and it's Tetris to grossing four times it's $11.4 million opening. Still, the $72.6 million worldwide cume is soft given the $50 million budget, though a number of international markets have yet to open.

Finishing up the top five is Smile, which had its biggest weekend drop yet, falling 42% for a $2.3 million seventh weekend. Of course, that's no reason to frown for the horror film, which has a domestic cume of $103 million and a global cume of $ 210 million from a budget of just $20 million.

This week at Bungie, we’re still recovering from the emotional roller coaster that was last week’s story mission and this week’s remembrance centering around Amanda Holliday. While we’re still making our best attempt at pretending we aren't sobbing messes over our favorite mechanic, we did want to share our preview of the mid-Season weapons update, a fun behind-the-scenes look at development animation horrors, and an update on what our Player Support team is working hard on.

Before we move on to the actual TWAB, we wanted to pay tribute to the incredible Amanda Holliday. Last week, we all said goodbye to a character that proudly walked the Guardian path in every way but her title. Holliday gave her life during Season of Defiance, and she did so in the most Amanda way possible: like a compassionate Badass with a capital ‘B.’ No matter her trials, her heart never shied away from caring about those around her, even when her mind begged her to be more reserved. We saw it with her friendship with Crow, and against all odds, we saw it in the small ways she showed our Vanguard that she was there to support them. We also saw it each time we spoke with her, even if we just needed a little ship tune-up.

On a more personal note, I worked on aircraft when I was active duty military, so I always looked up to Amanda as a character and felt a special bond with her. I could see myself in her. I wanted to be her. She was a Light and had a strength I don’t even think she knew about. It has always been inspiring, and her journey will continue to inspire long after her sacrifice.
Amanda Holliday gave up her life to help those around her, for those who needed protection. Needed safety. She sacrificed herself for a cause she believed in, and it’s our job as Guardians to make her proud.

Time For a Difficult(y) Conversation

We've been keeping an eye on community feedback on overall difficulty since Lightfall's launch, and we have some changes in today's update and future updates that retune certain experiences. In today’s update, we’ve reduced Legend and Master enemy HP scalars for non-boss units, which we felt were a little higher than we liked:

• Reduced the enemy HP scalar in all non-raid/dungeon Legend and Master activities by 10%.
• Reduced the co-op enemy HP scalar in Legendary Avalon by 33% in a full fireteam.

We've also made some additional reductions to Commendations requirements so players can reach their milestones at a more enjoyable pace:

• Reduced Hawthorne's weekly challenge Commendations target from 20 to 5.
• Removed Guardian Rank objectives that require players to give Commendations from Ranks 7, 8, and 9.
• Further reduced Commendation score requirements for Guardian Ranks 7-9:

Hello everyone, and welcome to another mid-Season weapons balance pass preview! Senior Design Lead Chris Proctor here. This is not going to be a huge one, but we feel that the changes we do have are impactful to the sandboxes in both PvP and PvE. Also, as a note in case you missed it, in last week's patch, we corrected an issue with Target Lock that was making it significantly more forgiving to use than intended, which originally would have been included in this patch, but we felt the change warranted being pulled forward.

PvE Primary Weapon Balance

We wanted to see how the PvE sandbox shook out after the release of Lightfall, not necessarily to see if primary weapons needed a buff, but more to see how much we should buff them. We've done quite a bit of testing on these numbers, in content ranging from Heroic Nightfalls to Legendary campaigns, all the way up to Grandmasters and we think that the changes are impactful without invalidating the difficulty of the appropriate levels.

In Heroic and Legendary content, you should be more likely to one-shot red-bar enemies depending on your weapon type, and even in GMs, we have shaved how many shots it takes and time it takes to kill for the below weapons against red and orange bar enemies. We want to add that we do not believe we are done with tuning weapon damage in PvE, this is merely a starting point, and we will revisit it in the coming Seasons to make sure everything has a place in the sandbox.

• Increased the damage of the following weapon types against red and orange bar enemies in PvE:
  
  • Auto Rifles face steep competition from Submachine Guns (SMGs) within parts of their range, and having a longer possible engagement distance wasn't doing enough to offset it. We don't want Auto Rifles to defeat combatants faster than SMGs, as that would flip the script and invalidate the lower range options instead, but we did feel like we could close the gap substantially.
    • Auto Rifles - 25%
  • Pulse Rifles and Hand Cannons have been considered weaker in harder PvE content for some time, so we wanted to make sure the buff we gave them was substantial, while at the same time keeping them below the lower ranged options in terms of pure lethality. Pulse Rifles have struggled, being less effective than Scout Rifles despite, for the most part, having a less effective range. We also put Sidearms into this group because they similarly lagged in damage output compared to the longer ranged SMGs. At these values, Pulse Rifles should be in a more reasonable spot, Hand Cannons should feel like they pack more of a punch, and Sidearms should fall much better into the "high risk, high reward" category.
    • Pulse Rifles, Hand Cannons, and Sidearms - 20%
  • Scout Rifles - We need to be careful tuning Scout Rifles up too much, because they offer the benefits of very safe engagement ranges paired with unlimited ammo, so making them too strong instantly turns most endgame PvE content into "sit as far away as possible and plink," which we want to avoid. That being said, after the changes to the other weapons, they felt like they were trailing just a little too far behind, so we have moved them up as well.
    • Scout Rifles - 10%
• SMGs and Bows - We tuned the rest of the primary weapons using these two archetypes as benchmarks, but as mentioned above, we will continue to keep an eye on the primary weapon balance in PvE and may revisit their tuning as needed.

Weapon Archetypes

• Submachine Guns
  
  • Aggressive Frame SMGs have been very strong in the PvP meta for the last couple of months, with a handful of outliers taking most of the credit. The IKELOS SMG was something of a mystery to us, as we continually felt, and got reports, that the gun seemed to have much better stability than its stats would indicate it should, compared to other SMGs. Originally, the IKELOS SMG was built back in the Warmind era when we had fewer guidelines on how to keep weapons balanced, and upon doing a deeper investigation we found that some custom tuning had been added to the weapon's scope to give it a recoil reduction effect. For comparison, the recoil reduction tuning was like having an effect nearly equivalent to Zen Moment at max strength, and always active. We have removed that custom tuning, and the recoil should now feel in-line with other SMGs.
    
    • IKELOS SMG:
      • Removed some tuning in the custom scope causing these weapons to have significantly less recoil than intended. The recoil is now in line with other Aggressive Frame SMGs.
    • We are aware that this change in isolation, while noticeable, is unlikely to put much of a dent in Aggressive Frame SMGs current dominance, so we have a larger change to reduce the damage of the Aggressives sub-family that will release alongside Season 21. The change will be targeted at shifting the resiliency threshold where the gun can achieve its optimal 0.67s Time to Kill (TTK) down to a lower value, to force a more reasonable 0.77s TTK against most players, while also decreasing their forgiveness of missed crits.
• Fusion Rifle
  
  • When we last touched Fusion Rifles, Shotguns had seen a big drop in effectiveness, and we were concerned that Rapid-Fire Frame Fusions would rise up to take their place. As such, we preemptively nerfed Rapid-Fires pretty hard. In today's sandbox, this is less of a concern due to the renewed strength of Shotguns following the airborne effectiveness and pellet spread changes, so we have walked back some of the damage nerf we made to Rapid-Fires. This change will push them back to defeating all resilience levels in 7 bolts and give them a decent bump to ease of use.
    • Increased burst damage by 15 (damage per burst goes from 245 to 260, damage per bolt goes from 27.2 to 28.9).
    • Damage in PvE is unchanged.
• Trace Rifle
  
  • Trace Rifles are in a bit of a precarious spot in the Crucible. In the right hands, they can kill very quickly from long ranges, even outside of their optimal time to kill (TTK). On the other hand, they can be difficult to use, and they often feel heavily ammo limited if you are not hitting the optimal TTK. We did a lot of experimenting with them for this change, including multiple combinations of damage and crit ratios, and settled on the values below as the highest we could push their damage output before they became frustrating to deal with in Crucible. Interestingly, with damage any higher than this the feeling was that they had a surplus of ammo, especially in 6v6 modes, and could often net 2 kills per Special brick picked up, which was concerning. Once we moved their damage values, they still felt like they needed a little bit more, and we wanted to lean harder into making them feel good to use, so we increased the effect that stability has on reducing flinch at the high end of the stat. We will monitor this change when it goes live and may revisit the ammo situation in a future update if their effectiveness remains low.
    • Increased base damage by 4% (base damage goes from 12 to 12.5).
    • Reduced precision hit multiplier from 1.4x to 1.35x (crit damage goes from 16.8 to 16.9).
    • Increased the effectiveness of stability at reducing flinch by 10% at 100 stat (scales down at lower values).
• Sniper Rifle
  
  • Rapid-Fire Frame Sniper Rifles have long struggled to find a place in both the PvP and PvE meta. In PvP, their inability to kill with two body shots puts them on uneven footing with other Snipers, and in PvE their fast RPM but standard inventory sizes mean you constantly feel low on ammo. To address these concerns and differentiate them from other Sniper sub-families, we have reduced their recoil by 50%. This means hitting crits on a boss or Champion in PvE is much easier, and taking rapid follow-up shots in PvP is too. We have also increased their inventory stat by 30%, which should give them a lot more rounds to play with in PvE content.
    • Reduced recoil by 50%.
    • Increased total ammunition (magazine + reserves) by 30%.

Exotic Weapons

• Final Warning - Final Warning being able to track targets through barricades, while funny in some cases, felt pretty unfair to play against and was not an intended mechanic of the weapon.
  
  • Can no longer mark targets through Titan Barricades.
• Tarrabah - This weapon is something we have been keeping an eye on for a while, and with the spotlight being shown on Aggressive Frame SMGs, it felt like Tarrabah has had its time in the sun. When the weapon was introduced, there was substantially less survivability in PvP, and the intention was that it would take nearly two full engagements to get Ravenous Beast active, which made it one of the costliest perk activators we had in game and justified the extreme power it offered. As the sandbox has progressed, however, survivability has increased, and it has become possible for Ravenous Beast to be very close to activating after a single engagement. This has meant that savvy players could purposefully bait or take a small amount of damage (like standing in a grenade's effect) to top off the perk, and then have it active for the second engagement. The increased ease of access has made Ravenous Beast an outlier in today's Crucible, and we were left with the options of reducing the potency of the perk itself or trying to make its activation more difficult, and we decided to work with the latter. This reduction in energy granted from taking damage puts the onus back on the user to deal damage and shifts the balance of the perk back towards a difficult activator that justifies its reward of a potent effect. In addition, we are continuing our mission to address zoom outliers, and this felt like a good time to reduce the zoom of Tarrabah back down to something more in line with the rest of the SMG archetype.
  
  • Reduced the amount of Ravenous Beast energy generated when taking damage from 3% to 1%.
  • Reduced zoom from 16 to 15.
• Revision Zero - Fourth Times the Charm (FTTC) working when Revision Zero went into Hunter's Trace is a fun and intended interaction, but it caused some unfortunate issues. Activating it too early while the perk was up caused the weapon to overflow its limited mag size and return to the normal Pulse Rifle mode. We have made a fix so that FTTC can continue to work while Hunter's Trace is active, but it will not be able to grant ammo until all shots have been expended. This means you can still enjoy the 2 free shots provided by the perk as long as you hit all 4 Hunter's Trace rounds without worrying about being kicked out of the mode. In addition, we have buffed the damage of the Hunter's Trace rounds by 25% in PvE, and we have buffed the Häkke Heavy Burst rounds by 75% in PvE. This will now make it more of a tradeoff when choosing between the origin perks, either dealing more damage in the primary mode but charging Hunter's Trace more slowly or dealing less damage but charging the bonus shots more quickly.
  
  • Fourth Times the Charm will now be reset when entering Hunter's Trace.
    • This will prevent the issue of firing a single shot while in Hunter's Trace and being forcibly returned to Pulse Rifle mode when FTTC activates.
  • Increased PvE damage of the Hunter's Trace rounds by 25%.
  • Increased PvE damage of the Häkke Heavy Burst rounds by 75%.Video Link ####At Season 21 Launch
• A sweeping rework of weapon hip fire reticles to better display useful information to players (accuracy, aim assist, charge state, Exotic perk state, etc.).
  
• The Aggressive Frame SMG nerf.
  
• A 10% PvE buff to Sniper Rifle damage.
  
• Buffs/adjustments to more than a dozen Exotic weapons, including Graviton Lance and Salvation's Grip.
  

  In the Future

• We are going to be taking a look at how zoom interacts with damage fall off, and the base damage fall off ranges of all weapons in general.
  
• Zoom, and perks like Rangefinder that manipulate zoom, have become a requirement on several weapon types, either to compete at all in the sandbox, or to allow the weapon to exceed its intended engagement ranges. This has led us to begin to consolidate zoom values on certain weapon archetypes, which removes an important lever that we can use to modify weapon feel, given the effect zoom has on field of view, recoil reduction, and aim assist falloff.
  
• We will be investigating decoupling damage falloff from zoom (this would be paired alongside a refresh of the base damage falloff values to compensate), which should allow us to better control the engagement ranges of individual archetypes, while at the same time letting us continue to use zoom as a tuning knob for weapon feel without dramatically changing their performance.
  

  The Case of the Missing Khvostov, A Peek Behind the Developer Curtain

Cinematics Director James Myers has an answer that many of you have been asking: “Where the heck is the Khvostov weapon seen in cutscenes?!” Funny story about that, we’ll let Myers take this one.
Myers: During the production of Lightfall, a certain story beat was pitched related to reluctantly aiming a weapon, and we quickly realized that we would need to animate that moment much more specifically than we typically handle Guardians pointing weapons in previous scenes. Many players have noticed some of the sillier results in some real-time scenes, even when we avoid extreme poses (like our Guardian holding a Bow at the end of The Witch Queen.) So, I spun up a thread with the studio leads and suggested that we decide on a “default weapon” that we could feature if we ever needed something specific like this. I suggested the Khvostov because it’s the very first weapon every player receives in Destiny. Literally every Guardian has tinkered around with this weapon, so it felt like the right call.
At the same time, new systems were being developed that would feature Guardians (like Commendations), and similarly, there were a lot of visual bugs popping up with certain weapons like Glaives and Bows. The animation team was stretched thin closing on cinematics, and a new set of animations was, unfortunately, something that would cost us other content. Because of that, we made the decision to use the same default logic in the instances where a visual bug would detract from the quality bar we aim to achieve.
Regarding helmets seen in in-engine cinematics, I have seen some folks post screenshots of their Guardians from recent real-time cinematics, and many were helmetless! Something we started doing in Lightfall is respecting the player's choice of helmet or no helmet in real-time scenes, where appropriate (we'll keep your helmet on in the vacuum of space for example). But for the most part, if you choose "hide helmet," you'll see your Guardian's face. And if you don't, you won't unless there's a special exception (I don't want to make that promise too airtight, just in case!). There is one caveat to keep in mind: the Season 20 cinematics were in production before we finalized this plan, so from Season 21 onward this will be consistent!
As a little bonus “sneak peek,” some animators in the film industry were recently discussing how they push animation poses in ridiculous ways to get the framing just right on camera, making for better shot composition and framing. It stirred up some interesting conversation, so we figured we'd show you one of these reframings with an example from the Season 20 intro cinematic. Whatever it takes to get the shot, y’know?

LOADOUT CRASHES
We are aware of an issue where attempting to equip certain loadouts can cause game crashes for players. We recommend that players experiencing error code WEASEL when equipping loadouts ensure that their Class Items are using the updated version of the Empowered Finish mod as outlined in Hotfix 7.0.0.6.
GUARDIAN RANK UPDATE
The Commendation requirements for unlocking Guardian Ranks 7, 8, and 9 have been updated. The updated requirements can be viewed in the Guardian Rank objectives by navigating to the Journey tab. Players must complete and claim all required objectives, then interact with the Ironwood Tree in the Tower to unlock their next Guardian Rank.
KNOWN ISSUES
While we continue investigating various known issues, here is a list of the latest issues that were reported to us in our #Help forum:

• The Preservation mission in the Throne World is not available for some players.
• The Hydroponics Delta Lost Legendary Sector has a longer respawn timer.
• Veteran players do not receive the correct amount of lore books when they rank up for the first time.
• Reservoir Burst explosion with Subsistence can sometimes fail to activate on kill.
• Adept Trials Hand Cannon is getting one round less in the magazine than the non-Adept version.
• The grav-lift on Neomuna is tied to framerate, causing players with higher framerates to die upon landing.
• Non-Lightfall quests showing up under the Lightfall quest category.
• Hunter gauntlets Thunderhead Grips are missing as an ornament for armor synthesis.
• Certain Heavy weapon archetypes are not benefitting from equipping a third reserve mod.
• Players are no longer able to equip the Unbroken title.
• Restoration reverts to a lower timer when reapplying the original source of the buff.
• Weapons can mark targets through Titan barricades.
• Thread of Generation stops functioning on Hunters for grenades that aren't Grapple after using their Super.

“Woah!” Jack yelled out as he fell out of bed Luckily he hadn’t been foolish enough to have set Dante up right next to him just in case of any accidents like this.
What stood in front of him holding a tray looked like a collection of rocks, pebbles and dirt vaguely moulded into a humanoid-ish form. Staring at it wide-eyed he levelled his gun at the thing as it slowly motioned to the tea it.had, and began to pour Jack a cup.
“Good morning Jack!” Zayle perked up as they walked in after the hulking thing. “No no no! Please don’t shoot him! He’s really nice and still owes me favours!”
Jack just stared back at the Squa’Kaar with the biggest ‘WTF’ expression on his face, not saying anything as the pile of rubble held out the mug for him to take, which he eventually did after he got the feeling it was staring at him.
“Zayle…” Jack began. “What’s going on?”
“Are you okay halveer?” Zayle asked. “My watcher spirit alerted me that you were starting to awaken so I thought I would make you a hot drink to wake you up! I sent my earth spirit to take it to you while I helped tidy up downstairs with my air spirit!”
“What time is it?” Jack asked with a groan as he got up, taking the mug from the earth spirit and taking a sip and taking care not to flinch from the taste. It was strong and bitter, and it seemed like Zayle had tried to counter that by putting way too much sweetener in it, but there was no way Jack was going to tell them after they were kind enough to go through the effort of making it and bringing it to him.
“It is early morning, I didn’t expect you of all people to awaken for a while yet!” Zayle commented. “Chiyo told me you and Nika probably would be up though. Are you feeling better?”
“Yeah.” Jack lied.
“Oh good!” Zayle perked up. “I hope everyone else does too! Uh…would you like me to get you some clothes to wear?”
“Shit!” Jack cursed as he got to his feet, quickly downing the rest of the drink and putting the mug back on the tray as he quickly went to the pile of clothes on the floor and threw on a thin undershirt and shorts.
“No need to be embarrassed.” Zayle shrugged nonchalantly. “Earth spirits don’t really understand that kind of concept.”
“Uh…” Jack began, staring at the gecko, who scoffed.
“What? I can grow a penis whenever I like, why would I be bothered?” Zayle smiled at Jack with a shrug.
Immediately, Jack spat out the drink still in his mouth in shock, spraying the earth spirit with the milky liquid. If the spirit seemed upset, it didn’t show it.
“What the shit!? Okay, time out.” Jack spoke up after he finished spluttering. “I don’t even know if you’re joking or if you’re serious. That was too much!”
“Sorry!” Zayle covered their mouth to stifle their laugh. “It is true though! My species evolved to do it to deal with population issues but it doesn’t really matter these days. At least it helps with the stupid school uniform policy! Have you ever tried wearing a skirt in a breezy winter? It’s not good!”
“Can’t say I have.” Jack replied with the first genuine chuckle he had in a while. “Is it really that terrible?”
“It’s really bad! My people grew up in warm swamps, but not baking hot like the summers here! That’s when you get horrible chafing with dangly parts! It takes a few months to fully change but usually Rayle and I time it well to match the seasons!”
“Too much information!” Jack snorted with a laugh. “Maybe we can change the topic to where we’ll be heading to pick your stuff up?”
“Sure, but I think Nika might need some help.” Zayle looked to the side, seemingly at nothing. “My watcher spirit is telling me she’s having trouble getting to her feet.”
“Alright, let's not wake anyone up.” Jack decided, looking at Dante with concern. Despite everything that had happened, the ‘dog’ hadn’t woken up from their slumber, and Jack quickly rearranged the blankets so they were better covered, but in a way that allowed everyone to check up on him without disturbing him.
The two headed downstairs, followed awkwardly by the earth spirit with pebbles tapping the wood as it trundled along.
“Morning.” Nika groaned as she stumbled her way to the living room clad in just her sports bra and shorts, her lower half surrounded by some kind of faint smoke that snaked around her legs and tail until she was able to grab a blanket and wrap it around herself. “Thanks for the assist, Zayle.” she sighed as the smoke coalesced and formed a small humanoid shape that stood at attention next to her.
“How are you feeling?” Jack asked the Kizun as Zayle quickly saw another opportunity to be proactively useful in making tea while her spirits awkwardly just stood there.
“Still sore, still stiff.” Nika sighed. “But healing naturally. I won’t let Alora give me a jump start when there could be lives at stake back at the Clan Bharzum compound. We have many friends in medical comas or being put back together for resurrection, and I’ll be damned if I take magical healing over them.”
Jack nodded as he sat on the sofa next to her. “No morning workout for us then?”
Nika rolled her eyes at him. “Careful, I might try a lap around the district even if I have to crawl! I’ve been hurt before but I never get used to just sitting down on the sofa and not doing anything productive. I know many of our friends like to do that and I’m not one to judge but I hate being forced to do nothing else without any choice in the matter.”
“We could find something practical.” Jack considered. “I don’t want to think too hard about homework but the Industrial Vocation bot we were working on was fun!”
“The one with the eight legs you thought up?” Nika grinned. “Yeah we can do that here while the others are still sleeping.”
“I can start making breakfast if you want?” Zayle asked as her earth and air spirits lingered behind her, having not been given tasks to do. “Or if it’s too early I can summon my water spirit to clean the pipes?”
“You should take a break instead and calm down.” Jack smiled. “You’ve done more than enough already and none of us even asked you to! Maybe you can sit down and rest while you tell us about your soon-to-be-ex-landlord instead?”
“The Laird?” Zayle asked. “Paranoid, crazy and power hungry, though nothing like the horrible and powerful enemies I’ve heard you’ve encountered. He wasn’t too terrible in the past but I think ever since his position started to get tenuous he’s been making a bunch of terrible decisions. Originally the security was alright and it was an environment Rayle and I were comfortable with so we stayed there because it was something we could afford while we attended school, but for a while now the dues have kept going up and we get less for it. He’s been bringing in extra thugs that like to try and fine people or intimidate residents into not leaving. That’s why I was hoping to get our things and get out before things get worse!”
“What was your original plan?” Nika asked curiously. “You mentioned before how you and Rayle had it all planned out. Where would you have moved to?”
“We were tempted to sign up to the Red Legion as aspirants. They provide free lodgings and military training after school and we have friends that have already signed up. The benefits are really good if you have magical capabilities, though it does mean we’d be tied to their operations on the Ring. Alternatively Kritch mentioned to Rayle that his family might be in a position soon to accept some tenants! Rayle was really keen on that idea for some reason…”
“Right.” Jack smiled, suspecting some ulterior motive on the part of their Lizta friend. “What kind of security has this Laird got? You mentioned thugs.”
“Security before was a local militia before there were arguments about pay and a bunch of them left. The Laird brought in anyone that could shoot a gun irrespective of their background. Bandits in all but name! Some of the neighbours have reported being mugged or robbed by them, so that’s mainly why I asked you for your kind assistance in the matter. Rayle and I can usually move around and go to the shops without really attracting any attention but moving out certainly would.”
“I get it.” Jack nodded. “A capable group wouldn’t be a tempting target for the bandits so your hope is for them not to harass you to stay.”
“Yes.” Zayle nodded. “I don’t like violence or confrontation but I hate being unsafe or robbed even more! If it is possible to get to the vault where the Laird is keeping the things he takes that his thugs aren’t skimming off then it may be possible to return sentimental items to my former neighbours if they’re able to get out themselves. They’d probably reward us too if we were to do it, and I’d feel more confident making the attempt with you than if it was just myself and Rayle.”
“I can’t guarantee we’ll go for that but it’s something to consider if the opportunity presents itself.” Jack pointed out seriously. “How were you able to pay your way before if you’re a full-time student?”
“My spirits are very utilitarian and Rayle is quite skilled with druidic magic.” Zayle shrugged. “Mainly odd jobs. We’ve volunteered with the Greenwardens before and sometimes we are able to sell byproducts of what we are able to produce which keeps us afloat. We are even able to grow GrainCoin and other AstralCurrencies sometimes which helps keep us in the black, and we’ve learned a bit about trading in the process.”
“Might be a good idea to repeat that to Alora.” Nika pointed out after stretching herself out more on the sofa. “We have a lot of very fertile garden space and an enthusiastic Eladrie that’ll be all over you, and Rayle too once they recover.”
“Yes…” Zayle’s expression drooped at being reminded of Rayle’s condition. If Jack had to guess, the reason for Zayle throwing themselves into chores and jobs was as a coping mechanism to try and forget. It probably wasn’t healthy, but then again, who was he to criticise?
“What’s the district like?” Jack added. “Please don’t leave anything out. If we’re helping you we need to make sure we do so in the right way so we don’t run into any problems.”
“There’s a lot of abandoned and ruined properties. It should be easy to hide and lay low if needed.” Zayle thought. “Oh yeah, lots of boat travel where bridges have been busted. I usually use my spirits but with more people I suppose that might be a problem.”
“Boat travel?” Jack asked in confusion. “What kind of place is this?”
“It’s swamp land suited for my species?” Zayle asked, sounding confused. “Why wouldn’t you need a boat for a place like that? Many islands of buildings amidst the canals, and the best humid environment we can afford to keep us moisturised. It is a large district spread between several factions that may turn into a horrible war, probably the next time the fog builds up.”
“Hmm.” Jack pondered. “Sounds almost like Venice. I went there once but it was packed with other tourists. A bunch of islands connected by even more bridges with the buildings constantly sinking into the ground. It has a lot of history but it’s basically just a tourist trap now.”
“Huh?” Zayle asked, now even more confused. “I have never heard of this…Ven-iss. But yes, several of the buildings sink into the ground by design to create an underground space in certain places. I am pretty sure the vault area has multiple access points with tunnels dug underneath so loot can quickly be taken there and possibly smuggled out. I’ve had watcher spirits follow some of the goons to confirm it.”
“How long does it take for you to normally get to your place when you enter the territory?” Nika asked, trying to get the gecko back on track.
“Just less than half an hour normally, but that is when I utilise my spirits to travel with Rayle, who also helps with their druidic powers.”
“So likely longer.” Jack nodded. “Do you at least have a map?”
Uhh…” Zayle fidgeted around for their commlink, reaching into one of the pockets of their newly-liberated dressing gown from the collection of clothes Jack and Sephy had robbed before bringing it up. “I have the sections of it I frequently use?”
“That’ll be useful.” Nika nodded. “Best wait for Sephy to wake up before we check it out and map a route.”
“Sometimes the thugs gather or patrol in places but I just take an alternative path.” Zayle added. “Even easier if you find or take a boat but there is usually the occasional sentry you need to watch out for, though maybe they’ll be more focused on where the other gangs will be coming from.”
“Something to bear in mind.” Jack noted. “I’ve seen how quiet Sephy’s drones can be, maybe if she has a few hovering overhead we can avoid any trouble outright. However from what you’ve described the militia have a habit of harassing innocent civilians. I’ll tell you now, I won’t stand by and let that happen if they try something like that around me. How strong are they if things go to shit?”
“There were several infrequent patrols between two to five guards last time I was there.” Zayle recalled as she filled another teapot and offered everyone drinks, which both Jack and Nika happily took. “Though many times they were drunk or high on something and didn’t really do much.”
“Maybe just keeping up appearances.” Nika reasoned. “Or just taking an easy job for easy pay before their employer either dies or cuts and runs with what they have. If they don’t live in the community they don’t have any motivation to act like proper guards.”
“They may also get the idea to take it for themselves if they’re able to and the Laird isn’t able to rein them in.” Jack speculated. “He seems like a poor leader, though I can’t tell if it’s from malice or just plain stupidity. How did he claim the territory in the first place?”
“Both malice and stupidity I think.” Zayle shrugged. “And he was next in the chain of command when the previous Laird and her chosen successor both apparently died to a Zorn raid. I think he was a clerk or a tax collector or something.”
“Makes sense why he’s not the best overall leader then.” Jack replied. “Okay. It sounds like a stealthy approach to your place will work as long as we detect and react to potential encounters quickly to avoid them, which will be very doable if we at the very least have Sephy and Chiyo along for the ride. Based on what you’ve told me we may be able to go today depending on how the others are feeling. It’s a risk but the situation over there could be played to our advantage if the militia is looking a certain way and we can sneak in and out right under their noses.”
“I agree.” Nika nodded with a grin. “You have a good mind for tactics.”
“Yeah.” Jack nodded in thought. “My main concern however is for your neighbours who haven’t left yet who may be caught in the storm. Some might be able to get out but there may also be those that are vulnerable and can’t leave unaided. The vault is optional, and I imagine Sephy would agree with you Zayle that we should try and hit it, but that might be a risk too far. We can entertain that idea when we get there, only if things go well.
“That’s fair.” Zayle conceded. “We can only do what we can, but we must be realistic about what we can do. We cannot save everyone over there.”
“We can only do our best.” Jack agreed. “Also I think I’m ready for breakfast now…”
Zayle quickly got to their feet, eager to throw herself into another task but Jack shook his head.
“No Zayle, you’ve already done a lot so sit down. I’m cooking, you need to take a chill pill. Nika, what do we have in stock?”
Jack admittedly had a limited number of recipes he could cook, but his father had decided he should know basic cooking skills at his age, and had Jack helping him with a few weekend family breakfasts they’d do to give his mother a break. Fortunately he confirmed that Zayle and Vanya were able to eat the simple meal he had planned as he counted several eggs, some prepared bacon-like equivalent they had that was suitable for nearly every species and the basic staples to make pancakes. He had no idea if it was officially called a Canadian or American breakfast or not and it didn’t really bother him. All Jack knew was that it was an easy dish to do for multiple people and he didn’t know many other recipes he could do. It would be the second morning in a row he would be making pancakes, so he resolved to try and find other simple recipes he would be able to learn. He knew he had a cooking class at school next week with Chiyo, so maybe he’d pick something up there or add a cookery book to the house shopping list?
As the smells of the hearty food wafted throughout the house, the others slowly appeared. Chiyo was first, having already been awake and meditating in the basement, lazily floating upwards and plonking herself on the sofa without too many words, except that the others that were able to were waking up, she was hungry and she couldn’t wait to eat what was cooking!
Sephy and Alora eventually joined them, with Nika and Zayle clueing them in on what their likely plans would be for recovering Rayle and Zayle’s belongings.
“I could come along, but....” Alora began, though Nika shook her head and countered. “We’ve already discussed it. You know Clan Bharzum will need medics and I know how serious you are about your healer’s oath. I think a smaller group would be best for remaining undetected anyway, and even if things do get bad the opposition isn’t going to be anything near the Pallid Pit or the Klown attacks, which Sephy, Jack and Chiyo can handle. As much as I hate to say it I can’t come myself, but I can help coordinate from here via comms and keep an eye on Dante and Vanya at the same time.”
“Alright.” Alora nodded and finally agreed. “Shoot me a message when you head out. How long do you expect to be?”
“It’s a few hours travel from here to my place.” Zayle noted. “Though I calculate that by my usual route, I expect it to take longer to get there safely and silently. Plus we need to get my stuff but I know what I will do for that.”
“So let’s just say a few hours, assuming all goes well.” Jack shrugged. “How do you plan on getting the stuff out then?”
“Rayle and I managed to bind a powerful earth spirit that is currently residing there as part of our current Lodge, along with a few other more powerful ones.” Zayle grinned, looking proud. “It’ll be able to handle getting the stuff out of the district, and I’ll have the other spirits accompanying me until I can use them for something or need to dismiss them once I dispel the Lodge for good, since those ones are too powerful to bind to my astral field. I’ll need to recover as many of the reagents we used in the original construction as possible in order to more quickly rebuild here once we find a suitable space.”
Sephy, how many drones do you have available? Chiyo asked the Skritta, who shrugged.
“I can bring a few more than I did for the Oracle Run but I don’t want to take my whole stack. I was thinking of having a few camouflage observer drones hovering above nearby so we can see any danger before it sees us.” Sephy reasoned. “I don’t have any capable of shifting stuff but if you say your earth spirit at your home can do it, that’s on you.”
And Chiyo, you should be able to detect others lying in wait?” Jack asked.
Yes, unless they purposefully shield themselves as Svaartal did on our way back from the Oracle. However since we’re not expected, it’s extremely unlikely we’ll run into that problem.
“Alright, then I guess I won’t need to be too worried if I offer my healing to Clan Bharzum.” Alora sighed. “I’ll head off as soon as I can then but I would like it if you kept me updated. I’ve got to say I’m surprised you’re taking being sidelined as well as you are Nika, it really isn’t like you.”
“That’s because I’m confident they can pull it off and Jack will keep everyone safe.” The Kizun shrugged. “Just don’t be too tempted to go for the vault if it’s too great a risk.”
“We’ll at least take a look and make sure we have a plan.” Jack shrugged. “From the sounds of it the Laird’s position is tenuous at best so if we don’t make the attempt others probably will, but if we do it we make sure we sort out anything else. If not, there’s apparently abandoned properties around that you can satisfy your kleptomania with Sephy.”
“I take offence to being called that!” Sephy replied in mock horror. “I am merely an entrepreneur seeking opportunities!”
“Don’t be in a rush to go though.” Alora warned. “I don’t want Vanya waking up and finding barely anyone here before we’ve explained what we’re planning for today.”
She’ll probably be another hour before she wakes. Chiyo informed her, and Alora simply nodded at that information in acknowledgement.
“We’re not in a rush.” Jack confirmed. “I think most of us are still tired so we’ll go once we’ve eaten and woken up a bit more. Maybe we can get there when it starts to get dark since I know Sephy’s drones will still be able to see anyway?”
“Good plan.” Nika nodded. “Although…Zayle, how does militia activity differ from day to night?”
“Uh…” Zayle thought. “The Laird wants more guards patrolling at night but in practice it doesn’t differ that much. It might actually be better since Rayle and I have seen guards goofing off when they think nobody is watching.”
“Alright, sounds good.” Jack nodded. “We’ll rest up and make our move in a few hours. Get ready.”

This was going to be feedback but consider it an FYI. I was curious about how Fidelity would be affected by the implementation of FedNow. FedNow is an updated payment infrastructure from the Federal Reserve that will allow instant settlement, bringing our banking system into the 21st century. FedNow is going live in July 2023.
The Fidelity routing number for brokerage accounts is actually UMB, so I did some Googling and UMB was part of the FedNow pilot program. I think it is safe to assume brokerage accounts will have faster funds availability starting in July depending on whether the source bank also uses FedNow. I am setting up a CMA right now, so this has been top of mind. I was glad to find past discussions on Reddit to understand the difference in availability for ACH push vs. pull. Such an antiquated system, hopefully this brings the USA up to the global standard.

In late January my partner and I ordered two packages ($250) online that were routed through USPS. Our local post office in a town of ~15000 recently became severely understaffed, so they have a massive pile of boxes building up that they do not plan on sorting through. We’ve requested refunds from the sellers, but both have been denied because USPS has accepted the packages and claims to have delivered them.
We have been into the post office about a half dozen times, and the worker says try again in a few days and shoos us off. After a month, he said the package is probably gone, they don’t know where it is, and we should just do a chargeback on our credit card.
Anyone have similar experiences or have any suggestions for options we may have? Thank you!

Utopia
Has anyone here seen the British TV miniseries Utopia?
Utopia is a 2013 fictional series aired on Channel 4 about an elite cabal that conspires to sterilize 90 percent of the human population. The members of the cabal believe that human “overpopulation” will cause environmental collapse, endless resource wars and just unimaginable-suffering-in-general, so they decide that the “humane” thing to do is to sterilize most of the human race. The ends justify the means.
The plan is to release a genetically-engineered virus that is a little worse than the common flu, whip the public into a state of terror, then provide the “cure” in the form of a vaccine which will gradually sterilize those who inject it.
There are a number of obvious and eerie parallels with Covid-19.
-It is no secret that some members of the ruling class are pre-occupied with the idea of “over-population.” This has been true since Malthus. There are some really chilling quotes in this regard: eg British Prince Philip, when asked what animal he would like to be reincarnated as, instead of saying a sane thing like "tiger," answered “as a virus, to solve overpopulation.” Bill Gates (whose father was a eugenicist) is pretty open about his desires here too. In his public speeches he stresses the need to provide vaccines and birth control to the “third world.” He also talks about the need to eliminate extreme poverty, though never seems to get around to that particular aspect of his plan. Indeed, during Covid-19, lockdowns drove an estimated 150 million people in the global south into extreme poverty and starvation.
-Poverty and alleged overpopulation are linked in a counter-intuitive way. Materially speaking, children are a “burden,” so one would assume that extremely poor people would try to avoid having them. However academics like Frances Moore Lappe have noted that in the third world, “children are poor people’s source of strength.” Since there is no social security, children are poor people’s version of a social safety net; the children will take care of the parents in their old age.
-The problem with eliminating extreme poverty is that it would require a modest reduction in the wealth of the ruling class, and most of them find that idea unacceptable. Prior to Covid-19 there were actually some significant improvements being made, but the overwhelming majority of that came from China (and I'm not a totalitarian communist, in case anyone's wondering). Pro-capitalist ideologues like Jordan Peterson have attempted to argue that capitalism is gradually eliminating poverty, but this is pure bunk. In this article by Jason Hickel, titled “Exposing the great ‘poverty reduction’ lie,” he notes that stats on alleged “poverty reduction” in capitalist countries are highly misleading; most of them actually stem from statistical trickery:

By shifting the focus to income levels and switching from absolute numbers to proportional ones, the target became much easier to achieve. Given the rate of population growth, the new goal was effectively reduced by 167 million. And that was just the beginning.
After the UN General Assembly adopted MDG-1, the goal was diluted two more times. First, they changed it from halving the proportion of impoverished people in the world to halving the proportion of impoverished people in developing countries, thus taking advantage of an even faster-growing demographic denominator. Second, they moved the baseline of analysis from 2000 back to 1990, thus retroactively including all poverty reduction accomplished by China throughout the 1990s, due in no part whatsoever to the Millennium Campaign.

I am skeptical of the claim that Bill Gates is a total fanatic on the issue of “overpopulation.” It seems at least as plausible that his alleged concerns about poverty and birth control in the third world are motivated by his desire to make money via vaccines etc., and that for him it’s more like a hobby/PR campaign than an obsession. Nevertheless, it was reported in 2009 that Gates convened a secret plutocrat meeting in NY to address the issue. They even created a name for themselves: “the Good Club.”
“Described as the Good Club by one insider it included David Rockefeller Jr, the patriarch of America’s wealthiest dynasty, Warren Buffett and George Soros, the financiers, Michael Bloomberg, and the media moguls Ted Turner and Oprah Winfrey.”
Returning back to the TV series Utopia, the single most chilling line occurs in the first episode. One of the head plutocrats organizing the depopulation scheme (in which a mild, genetically-engineered virus is released, the population whipped up into a frenzy, then a vaccine offered as the solution) notes that they will terrorize the public by using PCR tests with amplified cycle thresholds.
Sound familiar? Recall the breathless reporting of new “Covid cases” by the corporate/state media, all based on PCR tests. The average physician appears to be completely unaware that the creator of PCR, Kary Mullis, suggested that it should not be used for diagnostic purposes. Are we really supposed to believe that the flu simply disappeared for three years because people started wearing masks? Coronaviruses are different than the flu and this can indeed be tested, but how many tests were done for the flu during “Covid-19”, and how reliable is PCR in distinguishing between “Covid-19” and other coronaviruses? There has been a lot of “fact-checks” done on this issue but none of them are convincing, and indeed at the height of the “pandemic” the NY Times even published an article questioning PCR. The fact remains that we’re expected to entertain an absurdity: that the flu simply disappeared. At one point, the health minister of Ontario even stated that “up to 50 percent” of Covid-positives may be false positives. Strangely, the corporate and state media in Canada didn’t bother to follow up on her comment.
Given the total corruption of the World Health Organization and other “health” bodies such as the CDC and NIH, the only way of assessing the lethality of Covid-19 is through excess mortality stats. What do we find? We find that, indeed, “Covid-19” was never anything more than a bad flu season. The more credulous amongst us will claim “but ten gagillian people died from corvid-19!”, however governments around the world have now admitted that they were “over-counting” Covid deaths. That’s an understatement, to put it mildly. Anyone who died within thirty days of testing positive with PCR was labeled a “Covid” death. These insane guidelines apparently came down from the World Health Organization.
Sweden provides us with a control group. There was no significant excess mortality in Sweden during “Covid-19.” Indeed there was higher excess mortality in a number of years in the past two decades than there was during the supposed “pandemic of the century” in Sweden. British Columbia provides us with another control. Although B.C. embraced forced masking and “vaccine” mandates, there were no lockdowns. A FOIA request found that there was also no significant increase in hospitalizations. There WAS a slight uptick, but even that could be explained by the increase in drug overdoses and a heatwave.
One of the cleverest tricks of Covid-19 was to push this idea of “overflowing hospitals.” What they didn’t bother to tell you is that emergency rooms overflow during every flu season, and that there has been a problem with overflowing hospitals for several decades because old people are living longer. One can go back and look at articles from 2019, 2018, 2017 etc. in the Canadian media lamenting lack of hospital beds in emergency. This is a problem with HEALTHCARE FUNDING, not a virus. Instead of demanding universal healthcare, American and Canadian quasi-leftists demanded forced masking (which, in turns out, was a useless enterprise).
We’re left with the very uncomfortable fact that we were driven into a frenzy over nothing. Well, not nothing — I’m not prepared to say that there was no virus at all — but again, it was basically just a bad flu season. Be honest: if the television had never told you about “Covid-19”, would you have even noticed?
Let us return to the “Utopia” analogy. We now have several striking points of comparison: a billionaire cabal concerned about “overpopulation”; a relatively mild, genetically engineered virus unleashed on the public; the public whipped into a frenzy by the media via PCR tests using amplified cycle thresholds; the only thing missing is the “sterilization” part…
The reason I decided to write this post is because I came across a rather disturbing article the other day (and I made a post about it here on WOTB): “Thousands of jabbed athletes are developing ‘Turbo-testicular cancer.” Dr. William Makes writes:

”As an Oncologist, I ask how and why. Yes, the COVID-19 vaccine spike protein localizes to the testes, according to the Japanese Pfizer Organ bio-distribution study done with rats. But at 48hr, the ovaries get 40x more LNP-mRNA than testes.
Perhaps the more important point is that the mRNA continues to accumulate in the testes with time. How long and to what degree? We don’t know because Pfizer didn’t look beyond 48hr.
More physical activity means more blood flow, with more mRNA delivered to the heart as well as the testes. So if the myocarditis and sudden cardiac death don’t get you…
Truthfully, we have no idea what the COVID-19 vaccine mRNA does after it deposits in the testes, because Pfizer and Moderna did not conduct any carcinogenicity studies to verify safety.

Among the “conspiracy” crowd, the idea is that the jabs were designed to kill off the majority of the population. References are made to the Georgia Guidestones etc. However, what if it’s just like the “Utopia” series? The people who are “dying suddenly” are just casualties of war, collateral damage. The actual goal is sterilization, not overt genocide. The astute reader may remember a nurse in Slovakia claiming that there were four different concoctions being given under the guise of the “vaccine,” one of which was saline. The astute reader may also remember a dozen or so media reports from a dozen or so countries indicating that saline was “accidentally” being given to people instead of the “vaccine.”
Note that in the Utopia series, the sterilizing effect takes about a decade to manifest itself. Can drugs do that? Well yes, yes they can. In fact prior to Covid-19, Fauci himself stated that the effects of a new vaccine may not manifest themselves for a decade or longer.
Do I believe that this is what’s happening? Well not necessarily. I'm just trying to keep an open mind.
The typical alternate explanation of Covid-19 goes something like this: DARPA and other military agencies were experimenting with gain-of-function research. Because gain-of-function is so dangerous the Americans outsourced it to China. There was a lab leak. Politicians around the world knew full-well that it came from a lab, and overreacted as a result. Once the second lockdown (after China) happened in Italy, politicians seized upon the opportunity to establish more control over their populations and transfer more money to their sponsors: the super-rich. Trillions of dollars were transferred from the middle and lower classes to the super-rich.
“Covid-19” also allowed everything else — ie the perpetual scandals of the ruling class — to take a back seat. No politician wanted to be perceived as “not doing enough,” so they went too far in the other direction in order to cover their asses. Sweden was the exception. Prominent “leftists” bought into the scam because the propaganda campaign was designed to appeal to notions of “social” rather than “individual” health, and to characterize opponents of the new measures as backward-redneck-science-deniers. Mass hysteria overtook the populace. Once politicians got a taste of this power, they had a very difficult time giving it up, until they were (partially) forced to by the Canadian truckers and similar movements springing up around the world. The media went along with all this both because fear sells and because most of their advertising revenue comes from big Pharma. The WEF crowd viewed it as an ideal opportunity to introduce their “Great Reset.” The rest is history.
I think this narrative does indeed explain most of what happened. But I have certain niggling doubts about sponsorship and end-goals. For example: what about the numerous war games conducted prior to and during Covid-19 by the RockefelleGates etc. Foundations? Why did the President of Belarus claim that the IMF offered him a billion-dollar-loan if he introduced lockdowns? Why did every single world leader who opposed forced “vaccinations” end up dead? Can the desire for profit by big Pharma really explain the most extraordinary propaganda campaign in history? Why do we keep seeing these claims by whistleblowers that the “genetic sequence” to Covid-19 was already known prior to the outbreak?
Interesting questions indeed.
The “sterilization” theory a la Utopia is not proven, not by a long shot. Most women continue to have babies.
As for the overt depopulation theory, if that was the goal it isn’t working very well. While there is a shocking increase in excess mortality — especially among young people — it’s barely making a dent in human population levels. Perhaps it was just greed and corruption and that’s that. Either way it was the most unethical violation of human rights in history; while figures like the Nazi Dr. Mengele get all the “credit” due to the obscenity and perversity of their hands-on human “experiments,” figures like Fauci kill far, far more people, from a distance, and remain untouched.
If there’s one lesson to be learned, it’s that technocracy doesn’t work. Whether it’s the billionaire freaks at the WEF or your local mad scientist who wants to introduce genetically-modified mosquitos into your environment: it’s all the same extinction-event-waiting-to-happen.
WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE! Yes, but preferably later rather than sooner. And hopefully not on a species level.

I opened my card in February and spent about $3K. I placed the order over the phone as that is the way Macy’s offers you to open a card and get the $100 off as promised within the next couple days.
I had tons of issues receiving the card in the mail for whatever reason and hadn’t received the statement either. I called asking if I could be provided a way to pay online as the statement was coming due soon and I still hadn’t received the card. Without the card number, I couldn’t make an account online so they said I had to just wait. Didn’t even mention I could pay by phone and gave no help at all. Never have I had so much trouble trying to give a company my money. I had to do my own research, navigate the horrible IVR that kept asking for a card number I didn’t have, and finally managed to successfully pay by phone.
Finally, I get my card and link it to my Macy’s account. Today I want to make some purchases and realize that I haven’t received “credit” for my $3K purchase. I should have $50 in star money and should now be platinum. So I call Macy’s, after over 25 mins back and forth putting me on hold 10 times, the CSR tells me she submitted the request and I need to wait 30 BUSINESS DAYS for a resolution.
I say that’s not fair, I shouldn’t be penalized for this, this is Macy’s error, and I should have had platinum status and the star money credit 30 days ago. I should be able to get free shipping now. I should be able to use my star money now etc. She just keeps repeating wait 30 business days. I ask to please speak to a supervisor. She keeps repeating the same thing. At this point I say I understand this isn’t your fault, but I am begging you to please let me speak to a supervisor, that my experience with Macy’s has been awful since getting my card and I am begging you to please let me speak to a supervisor. The CSR says well they are busy so I spoke to a specialist and they said we’ll credit your shipping after you become platinum and after 30 business days you’ll be notified about your platinum status…
I couldn’t get a straight answer if I will be credited as being platinum since end of Feb or if she means I’ll be credited once it’s resolved in 30 days? We seem to have trouble understanding each other. She says she can monitor my account, but never responded to the 5% and kept ignoring my requests to escalate the call. I’m not confident I would get the refund and credit deserved. I keep asking to clarify and she keeps repeating the same thing.
After more minutes of the above and my asking if the supervisor can call me back if they’re busy or if Macy’s doesn’t allow customers to speak to supervisors, and the CSR just repeating the script, I am on the verge of tears and just say okay thank you, I am going to go now and I hang up.
I’ve been a Macy’s customer for decades and have always loved the store. I just feel gutted. I apologize for the long text and if it seems like I’m being dramatic but I’ve cumulatively wasted hours because of how unhelpful Macy’s credit card customer service has been and now shopping with them or doing anything just fills me with dread.
