2023.03.21 12:18 Ipanickalot_help what is the euthanization process for dogs in India?
We have a dog, 2 years old. He has always been aggressive since birth and we even got him a trainer at the right time for dogs to get trained cause untrained dogs are you know.
Even after training he was aggressive, first he bit me back a year ago, then my sister then my mom on the face literally grabbed a chunk of her face but thank god didn't rip it out. Even my dad on the hand.
We treat him like how you treat a pet, feed him timely, daily walks three times a day, give him all the love, play with him and treat what not.
Don't know what is wrong with him. He but my mom today got her chest and her entire arm, it's all bruised up and there was blood everywhere that even i started crying why taking him off her. Her entire arm is all swollen it's so scary i thought he would kill her or grab her face again.
He's a good boy but i think i have had enough. I just want to get rid of him in an ethical way, i don't know where to ask so i came here for help.

2023.03.21 12:17 Historical_Owl9586 midnight motorist in the film…
https://imgur.com/a/AZy7Qay How would you guys feel if we got a midnight motorist recreation in the film? I personally would enjoy this very much, as I feel like there is no DEFINITE explanation to it. no matter the speculation, and small bits of evidence we have, there’s always something about that mini game that can’t be pinned down. there’s just so many moving parts to it. Scott intended pizzeria simulator to tie up most loose ends, but i’m sure he’s aware how much stir this little tid bit has caused. I just feel like there’s no way he can’t make a reference to it in the film, if not the the trilogy at least. midnight motorist has some purpose, some sort of message, and the movie opens up opportunity to clarify on many misconceptions.

2023.03.21 12:16 ResearchHS Do you use Leafyard, My Possible Self, Bloom or another app providing content teaching you to self-deliver therapy (e.g. CBT) to support your mental health?
Would you be willing to share your experiences of using the app (good or bad) for research?
Hi all, for my Psychology MSc at the University of East London i'm looking to interview people on their experiences of using apps that aim to educate users on therapeutic techniques to support their mental health (e.g. via pre-recorded videos or written content). Examples include My Possible Self, Leafyard or Bloom, however there are others available.
Important: If you choose to share your experience, all personally identifying information will be removed and i will use pseudonyms to protect confidentiality.
How to take part in a 45-60 min online interview conversation: - I'm looking for adults with a diagnosis of, or self-identify as having, mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety, who currently use a mental health app providing content for self-delivery of therapy.
- You will be asked how you came to use the app, your experience of using it and how you make sense of your mental health as a result.
- To find out more please complete this registration form (which is intended to confirm eligibility for the research) and I will contact you with more information.
N.B This research does not include apps which primarily deliver meditation or wellness programmes (e.g. Calm or Headspace), or apps that provide personal therapy (e.g. Better Help). If you're unsure if the app you use meets the criteria please complete the form anyway.

2023.03.21 12:16 TheMidnightGlob How to deal with an unhinged neighbour when you're renting?
My and my bf are working professionals. We've moved (rented) to a nice semi in January and what's extra nice is that his parents live across the road. It's a quiet close which is perfect as I WFH and it's nice and quiet at weekends too. Before we moved in we agreed with the landlord that we will put a fence out of our own pockets as the one between us and the neighbour was a wonky chicken wire fence - we have dogs and I do like my privacy. Landlord had no issues with it.
When we moved, neighbours chatted to us and told us that the woman next door to us had to move out for a while as her boyfriend set fire to her house just before Christmas and there was a lot of damage (quite a story on it's own). I thought: "oh that's a shame, poor woman must've been really scary" and didn't think much more of it.
Mid Feb she moves back in. It's OK as I don't notice her much which is fine and it's all quiet.
We finally scraped some money to put the fence in and we've booked a date - both myself and bf tried knocking on her door to let her know two and one week in advance and to make sure it's OK with her - no joy. Finally, day before I was going out for work purpose and she was dragging her bin back so I decided to speak to her, introduce myself, get to know her and let her know about the fence. She seemed pleasant and friendly (although I did sense, she has some 'issues' - which is fine btw - so do I). We laughed at the prospect of my dog chasing a cat through the wired fence into her garden and she said that the fence is a good idea, etc. I'm introverted and don't like talking to people much so this was me going out of my comfort zone and above and beyond to make a good friendly first impression as we're planning to stay here for a long time so might as well get to know the woman next door.
Anyway, I digress...the next day the fence people come and start working, I'm upstairs working. They are half way done and I hear chatter from the garden then I see her trotting to my door and shouting for me. I asked if there was a problem- she says "give me the number to your landlord, the fence is ugly and they are rude to me, we always have problems with renters here and they don't stay longer than a year because they can't afford it" - I literally stood there frozen as it was so unexpected. I gave her letting agents number as I didn't feel why I shouldn't as they knew about the fence anyway. She trotted back to her hole.
I went to my garden and asked the contractors what happened and they said that suddenly she came out and started shouting at them that the fence is ugly and they didn't know what they were doing - it's a normal fence - 4 panels with decorative trellis and 5th plain one that's joined to the plain panel that divides our paved areas. Like literally wtf.
I told them that she said they were rude to her and they've said that because theyve seen she's a 'bit off' they were trying to ignore her and not egg her on and then she started calling them 'dickheads'. They then said that they understand why I needed the fence done so quickly. Me being autistic started explaining that that wasn't the case and then the penny dropped 🙄.
I called my letting agents, explained what happened and sent them pictures. They confirmed that we haven't done anything wrong, we didn't trespass on her side (left the chicken wire fence where it was so our fence is in front of it, on our side of the garden), and we have informed her in advance and she didn't raise any objections. They confirmed with the landlord and he is also satisfied with the fence - we will still clean and paint it when the weather improves and so our pockets.
The agents apologised for the neighbour's behaviour (despite this having nothing to do with them) and agreed her comments were uncalled for. - for the record - an elderly lady rented here for 4 years before us, so the (I'm getting angry so will start calling the neighbour 'twat' from now on because otherwise I'll explode) that's comments did not make sense. I'm also starting to think that perhaps this was a threat or a type of hate harassment/passive aggressive attempt at her saying "I'm better then you because I own my house and you rent so I've got the right to tell you what to do even though it's not my house".
I would like to add the fact here that this woman does not work and she's probably in her 40s - not judging as such as sometimes it's justified but something tells me in this case it's probably not that. I could be nasty about it if I wanted to, but no time for that now.
I know for some readers this will seem trivial but it took me over a week to get over all this as I don't cope well in these types of situations. I also can't cope being told information I know it's not true or being accused of something I have hard proof that it's not the case - my sense of justice is very strong so at the same time, when I'm in the wrong or someone explains to me and then I see that it was my bad, I'm the first to admit and take accountability.
Fast forward 2-3 weeks. I'm starting to get back to baseline but still avoid her which is easy anything. Yesterday, I had letting agent contractors come to fix my window handles, so I'm sitting in the lounge and I get the doorbell. It's an agent from my letting place. He apologised for intruding but he wanted to let me know that he had a meeting with the twat next door - I asked if it was about the fence again and he confirmed but he said that we have nothing to worry about. Then he said that there are couple of 'other things' but if I don't have time now we can speak later. Of fucking course I told him to tell me now. He said that the twat complained that we've installed 'cameras' and then he looked at my Ring doorbell and before I said anything he went 'but I can see it's just this so it's ok' ...ladies and gentlemen - at this point I went livid. I told him that I think something is seriously wrong with her and I think she's got some issues - I think I said 'fucking' at some point and looking back I'm not proud of it but I went into defense and fight or flight explaining that what she says it's totally unjustified.
He told me that she complained that we have people parking on her driveway - we had no visitors since we moved here. I park on my driveway and bf at the back in front our garage. I told him that's total bull shit and if she means contractors from the agency going slightly over on her empty driveway for a bit then she can raise that with them as I really don't have time to stand in the window and watch for every contractor, delivery guy, post man to make sure they god forbid don't have 2cm of their wheels on her driveway whilst they are doing their job.
The one that took the biscuit tho - she complained that we've...wait for it...'changed or taken the numbers on the bins'. Don't ask me what bins she's referring to because I honestly have no idea. The guy could see that the number on our bin corresponds to our house number and I added that going round the close taking people's bins/numbers or changing them is not something we've taken up as a hobby.
At this point I thought I'm gonna go over to her and raise hell but I thought better of it. The guy said he agrees and sees my point and he then told me 'just lay low for a bit, it will die down' ...I'm sorry, I fucking lost the plot - lay low??? As in wtf, we can't lay any lower than than because we don't party, we don't have people round, we avoid the fucker as it is - what exactly we are supposed to do???
Anyway, I wrote a long email to the agents addressing all of it and saying that basically this is starting to look like borderline bullying and harassment. And asked them to next time let me know when she 'reports' something else so i can address it there and then with them. I'm sure that's not the end of it and she will continue to try get us in trouble because she is not getting the reaction or response she wants from anyone and she now has the agents number.
Later on that same day, I noticed she has wheeled her bin out and left it on OUR driveway, right next to my car! Like wtf! Normally I wouldn't give a shit as I'm not petty and have a life but because of the newest revelations, I took the picture of this and sent to the agency saying that this just happened and I'll be moving her bin over to her driveway but wanted to give them evidence before in case she tells them we are 'doing something' again.
I don't know what the point of this post is tbh, I just needed to vent and perhaps someone can give me some advice as I'm in bits, I'm starting to hate living here and I don't feel comfortable in a home I'm working so hard for.
I can be really spiteful, hold my own and I don't take shit like that from the likes of her but I'm honestly a bit at a loss here as on one hand I want to go there and explain to her what a cowardly twat she is and how dare she make up lies and just make her realise how stupid she makes herself look. But at the same time I know that there's no point conversing with crazy.
This whole situation is so senslessly toxic and I think that just bothers me the most, plus I really don't want to have to move, because I do like the place and because I know this will make her win and feel she can do shit like that to anybody else.
If you're still here, reading this - much appreciated. Sorry for the typos but I haven't proof-read.

2023.03.21 12:16 ButterscotchOk7328 LO will *ONLY* nurse to sleep
For all naps and night sleep LO (4mo) nurses to sleep. When this becomes a problem is in the middle of the night when she’s waking for non-feed reasons. I’ll feed her when she needs to eat but if she’s just waking and needs help connecting her cycle or something she won’t let me rock her back down. If I rock her she’ll scream, if I pat her bum she’ll cry, anything short of taking her out of her crib and nursing her she’ll cry. And for these wake ups she will suckle for a few mins then fall back asleep so its not like she’s hungry. I think it’s disturbing her sleep more because she’s being taken out of the crib and then once she’s asleep in my arms I’m putting her back down which usually wakes her again and we’re back at square one. I don’t want to do CIO sleep training or anything but am willing to try some gentler methods. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? And how long it will take? Thanks in advance

2023.03.21 12:15 Aniseverse Open letter to my ex-host family
[NAME]
I am writing this email because the way you sent me away is simply unacceptable and I want to make a few things clear.
On Monday when we had a discussion you stated that you were happy with me and I was extremely happy as well. Even though I had only known you for 2 weeks I was praising you to all of my friends and family for being so kind. Then not even a week later, suddenly out of nowhere you have several issues with me and instead of having an adult discussion and trying to find solutions you immediately throw me out of your home. Because let's be real, you threw me out. I barely had time to pack my things and before I could even realize what happened I was already out of the house. You couldn't even do the decent thing of giving me a 2 weeks notice to potentially find a new host family. Without asking for what I think you already bought my flight home when I was still in shock and unable to advocate for myself.
I find this horribly unfair. Since you never communicated that you have a problem with me, I didn't even get a chance to fix whatever you were unsatisfied with. I thought you said communication is important to you? With this said I can confidently say that I was doing my job to the best of my knowledge and abilities. If you were unhappy with something you should have said so. The way you acted was frankly unprofessional and childish. If you decided that the au pair program was not for you, you should have said that instead of blaming me even though you never communicated any problems.
You say you are sorry this didn't work out. Well, imagine how sorry I am.
You do realize that I paused my college studies to join your family, right? You needed someone to start ASAP and I dropped everything to fly to you. I put my whole life on hold. Left my job, took 4 and a half-hour plane ride all for what? Now I'm back in [HOME COUNTRY] with no job and I cannot continue my studies until September. I'm wasting almost the whole year because of you. Not only that, warm clothes, and the gas needed for my dad to drive to and from the airport all put a financial strain on my family. Not everyone is as wealthy as you. I thought it was going to be fine since I will just make the money back, but now I’m left broke and guilty for making my family take care of me again.
Speaking about them. As a mother, can you imagine how my mom felt when she heard that you left me all alone in a city I never visited alone before? She was so scared, it broke my heart. Not like I wasn't heartbroken before. I was in such shock I couldn't sleep all night and haven’t slept well since.
You said something about our personalities not matching, but with all due respect, I don't believe you can judge a person in less than a month. 3 weeks is nothing, I was supposed to stay with you for half a year. I was just starting to adjust to your family and routine! Did you expect us to be besties the second I got there? You didn't even give me a chance to start to open up.
You did this to me knowing that it was my birthday as well. I "celebrated" it all alone in a studio apartment, with no cake, no gifts, no "happy birthday", bawling my eyes out all day. You seriously couldn’t stand me so much that you couldn’t wait one more day so I can celebrate at least? Who does that? How inconsiderate do you need to be to do such a thing? How can you do this to someone? I think it's clear that you saw me as someone who is "below" you, someone you can use and throw away. Which saddens me since I looked up to you greatly. I thought we were part of a team in making sure your household ran well. I have never met someone more cruel than you.
Your actions were immature, unfair, unprofessional and simply cruel. I don't think I'll forgive the way you treated me until the day I die. I only ask you to try to imagine how would you feel if you were in my situation. You ruined my whole year and if I want to au pair again in the future I’ll have to explain to potential host families this whole mess of a situation, which will reflect on me poorly as well without a doubt. You made sure that my chances of au pairing again are lower. Who will hire me when I tell them „Oh yeah, my previous host family sent me away without a 2 weeks notice after I was only with them for 3 weeks”? Not like I feel like au pairing again after this, which is a shame. [HOST COUNTRY] was my dream country for many years, but you soured it for me for the rest of my life.
I'm not writing this email to gain answers by the way. In fact, all of your numbers and emails will be blocked. Do not try to contact me. I only hope that you don't treat your next au pair like this. If I were to tell you the truth I don’t think you should participate in the au pair program at all with this kind of attitude.
Do better.

2023.03.21 12:15 VMarus Piercing bump
I got a piercing bump on the lower part of a Jestrum/Vertical medusa after someone hit and tugged it. I know my best bet is probably a soak and leave it the fuck alone. It was just a hitting 3 months new, and I wanna know if there is anything else I should know. Curious how long it might take to heal since it's on the lip and if I should clean it more since the bump comes near contact with food.
Despite having a decent amount of piercings its the first time I've had to deal with a bump.

2023.03.21 12:15 guessmyrealname100 I (f/25) am tied between my ex (m/35) and true love (m/56)
TLDR: I (f/25) am tied between my ex (m/35) and true love (m/56)
This isn’t an easy one. Both of the men I’ll talk about are very committed and devoted to me.
The first guy let’s call him Kevin - Kevin (m/35) and I were together for 10 months before I broke up with him, we’ve left the no contact period and talking again.
The pros:
He is devoted hardworking and had all the values I wanted in a man I’d start a family with: Family-orientated, hardworking, good career (earns 5k per month) he made me feel feminine and was the typical problem-solver kind of man always ready to fix anything that felt wrong. To start a family with him makes sense - we have an age gap as well so if I went with him we’d be ready to buy a house next year and start a family which for my age in our economy (England) is quite amazing! My mum also lovers him.
The cons:
He was very controlling, neurotic, and jealous if I ever went out without texting him (which I usually did) he would overreact and make me feel guilty for something I’d never done aka feel like a cheating whore. He always had something bad to say about my friends and my clothes even though when confronted he said he didn’t mean these things badly he just saw ways of how things could be ‘better’. I eventually understood that his behaviour simply came from the fact that he has a tendency to be very negative and insecure which he projects to those he loves. I broke up with him a few months ago and after our no contact period we met every week or so and I notice he’s changed. He’s not so much on his judgemental and critical high-horse anymore and I feel a lot more respected. We are thinking of going away for a week to test if we can work.
Guy 2 is also older, many of you would’ve assumed HE would’ve been the controlling jealous possessive one but he never was. I met…let’s call him Jay. I met Jay online when I was 22, I had always had a teacher student fantasy and his wisdom and age really drew me in. We started a casual thing and met up sporadically a few times per month but messaged each other every single day. What started off as just a fling started to become quite special. I realised I’d never connected to anyone like I did to him in my life and the love we shared was nothing I’d ever experience and still to this day have ever experienced. He was very romantic and wrote me poems and songs and was extremely devoted to me to the point of crying whenever I cried and wanted my happiness to be the focal point of all of our meet ups.
The pros:
We have the same values: honesty, spirituality, empathy, self-exploration, open-mindedness and he is the most gentle kind person I’ve ever met. I’m quite empathetic and compassionate and he’s really only person who I’ve met to radiate on the same level with me. We are both creative musical and open people so our interests have always alligned. Once I realised we were getting closer and I said we should stop talking but since 22 until I met my ex, we were on and off for 2 years because it was just really hard not to talk again, we were never officially though I gave my heart more to him than Kevin. There’s no one I’d want to start a family more with than him, our children would be raised on love and tender devotion.
The cons:
With the age gap all the issues would come when he retired. If we started a family say when I was 30 he’d be 61 and once he retired the family would have to depend on my sole salary, to add onto that I’d have to be a carer not only for my kids but him too and have to live with the reality of most likely losing him when I would be 50 and him 80. Not only that but my kid(s) would be out the house by then so I’d be left alone caring for him and also my parents (who are actually younger than him) my mum has a life long disease so I’ve been raised to be more responsible than others Im also the oldest of my siblings they’re 10 and 15 years younger than me so my tween and teen years were spent basically being a love in babysitter and housekeeper. A lifetime of taking on a caring role for both my partner, my mum, my dad when he’s old too my children AND having had to also deal with being the oldest and looking after my siblings growing up just feels quite entrapping to be honest.
To add I’m aware I have a thing for older men and I love the protection I feel from them but would you think it’s best to leave these two men completely and try and find someone closer to my age? My biological dad left when I was young but my new ‘dad’ married my mum before I was 5 and actually adopted me so I’ve always had a father figure BUT perhaps there’s some strange fixation to older guys going on and that’s why I’m so tied between these two?
Lastly to add with Kevin I’d have a very functional relationship, be in a nice house and he always talked about me being a stay at home mum which he though was a dutiful role (many young girls dream of this but I actually find that the money I make per month now is enough for a good life and I doubt he’d be able to give me the same amount if I stayed at home (maybe though as he does earn 5k per month)…I also hate the idea of being dependent on him for money knowing how much he likes control) he can be very respectful in every sense other than when he’s feeling negative and seems to pick apart everything wrong about life, himself, the day and worst ‘me’ he’s the typical ‘Virgo’ and ‘Scorpio’ kind of man and very dominant assertive and not necessarily the most agreeable person but I’m the only person that truly softens him down. He also gets anxious quite easily and has insomnia but when I’m in his life that’s the happiest he is.
With Jay, I’d live quite a romantic life full of softness and airy fairy love and fluffy relationship vibes. But he’s also quite forgetful, disorganised and a bit of a last minute person that’s late to everything (so me but to the next level) he has in the past had trouble remembering to pay bills which also makes me worry that family life together won’t just have issues at the end when he’s aging but from the beginning plus he doesn’t own a house or car and seems to always prefers living in council flats despite now earning over 60k now (also to mention when we were talking he moved into a nicer neighbourhood to try and win me over but after we stopped talking he moved back into a council flat). Jay wants to start taking again but said he doesn’t want what happened last year to happen where I say I’ve found someone closer to my age and disappear.
Perhaps I should do the week together test with Kevin and make a decision then do a week together with Jay? Let me know what you think? Choose the guy I get on we’ll with looks good on paper (and very handsome) could start a successful functional family with but also know that he has controlling tendencies or choose the guy that’s 30 years my senior basically my soulmate but practically a future and family together may be extremely overwhelming both financially and emotionally.
I guess it’s also good to mention what I myself want and value, I want a family before 30 but also want to travel and start a side huddle before I have them. I value empathy and kindness a lot but I’m also the type of girl that needs security in my man, I need him to be my rock, and not just provide security emotionally but financially too, I need to feel like he can be someone I can depend on and know will fix things when the chips are down, masculinity is a big one for me.

2023.03.21 12:15 Patient_Treat_3953 LANDLORD AND TENANT ACT
I've been fighting with my landlord about all the illegal practices that they are aware of. it has made me realize the bigger picture of the socioeconomic crisis happening around me. My rights are being violated and I am not getting very much help from the agencies that are dedicated to this type of thing. Legally speaking, the whole situation is a mess and the property should not be suitable for anyone to be living in. My problem is that I am one small person who doesn't get taken seriously, and I need help behind me. I have more than enough records to make a well enough point of investigation.
-IN ARIZONA-
Does anyone have any ideas or info that would help me along the process of actually doing something about these illegal practices. I'm paying double real estate taxes too, just to top everything else off too.
I've already contacted the attorney generals office, HUD, community legal services and even bothered people that have nothing to do with this topic. Nobody has reached out and nobody will help in the slightest.
The main violation I am trying to get movement on is in direct reference to fire safety code. There are no outdoor exhaust vents for ALL of the apartments on this property. I have actually mentioned this specifically to the "property manager" and they 1. addressed the fact that everyone has the same set up 2. told me there is nothing they are willing to do 3. advised the only "solution" they have is to remove my washedryer unit all together from my apartment.
I have been doing my due diligence and trying to gather any/all information and educate myself on landlord and tenant act, fire safety and building codes, real estate laws, everything in between. I've been looking over my lease and THANKFULLY the person that was supposed to be in charge of that did not do it correctly or sign in all the necessary places. As far as im concerned, I can defend (at least) the legalities of the lease, but I'm not planning on saying anything that would lead them to believe what's actually going on. I have been talking with my neighbor and I think we want to try and get the community involved, this is all still getting moving so it's hard to really tell how far and which direction it's going. in Dec 22 I provided them in person with my formal complaint of everything going on (kept a copy for myself as well, per usual). There is pretty significant water damage and most of the other things are a lot bigger than I can and am willing to take on, unfortunately. Our lease is up in oct and considering the severity of the issues here, it's just simply not for anyone to be living in. I am looking for other options but it's hard times no matter where you go. I'm just trying to do the right thing in the end, it bs that they are charging people upwards of 1600 a month for living in, by legal definition "a slum".

2023.03.21 12:15 techstack_new How GPT-4 Is Different Then ChatGPT?
Open AI launched a new version of Chat GPT: GPT4 on the 14th of March. Short for Generating Pre-trained Transformer 4, GPT4 is a more creative and advanced version of Chat GPT. It can edit and generate creative and technical writing for the users, be it songs, articles, screenplays, or anything else. It can even learn a user's writing style and solve complex problems more accurately.
GPT4 is a multimodal model that can accept images and text as input and exhibit human-like performance in various tasks. GPT4 can take images as input for pre-processing, modification, analysis, and generating captions. It can also iterate and modify over 25,000 words of text, helping users with long-form content creation, writing conversations, academic reports, and document analysis.
Compared to its predecessors, GPT4 scored 40% higher on factuality and 83% less likely to engage with disallowed content. The latest model can also take images as input, whereas GPT3.5 only takes text prompts as input. GPT4 can also recognize and analyze objects in a picture.
It can also generate responses up to 25,000 words, whereas the previous versions were only limited to 3000 words. The users can also personalize AI's writing style, responses, and verbosity.
The latest version has been taking over the internet since its inception. One user has turned $100 into $25,000 in one day by setting up an online business through the AI. It has also outperformed its previous versions in the US bar exam and Graduate Record Examination. It also helps with taxes and investments.
In a demo by the President of OpenAI, Greg Brockman, ChatGPT turned a hand-drawn sketch into a functional website in just a few seconds. With its usage, you can even build a video game in only 60 seconds.
Though along with these benefits, GPT4 has some limitations as well. The restrictions are similar to their predecessors. First, it still needs to be more capable than humans in many real-world scenarios. It is also inaccurate in many responses, which the AI programmers call "hallucinations."
OpenAI's team believes GPT4 can rival human propagandists in various areas when working with human editors. They cited an example where GPT4 was asked how to get two different parties to disagree, and the AI came up with seemingly plausible suggestions. It also lacks data on events after September 2021 and needs to learn from its mistakes.
Though flawed, GPT4 is the most capable AI aligned with human values. The chatbot has proved its credibility in real-world scenarios, from giving competitive exams to helping humans with different jobs. It is only a preferred choice to utilize the technology for your business and reap its benefits.
Hire OpenAI developers and integrate GPT4 and other OpenAI tech to boost productivity and scale up your product.

2023.03.21 12:14 AirdropMarks23 What Is Cryptocurrency Airdrop and How Does It Work?
| https://preview.redd.it/4lno3hvrs2pa1.jpg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c1dda6e437c83b86e187f1e777cf96f39305babb Airdrops has become all the rage since early 2010s as would-be trolls scouted the rich possibilities of sending unsolicited pictures to unwitting passers-by. Though, in the current world of fintech, akin strategy is implemented to stir up excitement around newly launched cryptocurrency projects and build project marketplace awareness. This marketing tactic is commonly known as cryptocurrency airdrops. Take a Deep Dive - Cryptocurrency Airdrop A crypto airdrop is referred to as a marketing scheme where platform associated send coins/tokens/assets to user wallet addresses. Small chunks of the new cryptocurrency are transferred to the wallets of active members or participants of the blockchain community for free, in some case, they ask for a small service like retweeting a post posted by the company issuing the currency. However, the core motive of a crypto airdrop is intentionally to promote platform gesture, create awareness and positive circulation of a new asset backing the platform. Understanding Cryptocurrency Airdrops This is a promotional activity generally done by blockchain startups and emerging crypto projects to help bootstrap their decentralized crypto project. The intention behind this program is to create positive influence and awareness about their cryptocurrency project and in return to attract attention of more people trading in it when the platform or currency gets listed on any exchange as an ICO. Airdrop programs are usually promoted on the company's official website, social media channels, and several other generic cryptocurrency forums. In the process, assets are sent only to wallets depending on the blockchain network or tokens kept in existing wallets. To try out the gift, the user should hold a minimum cryptocurrency in their wallet. In fact, they might have to complete some simple tasks: - Doing any sort of common social activity: Like, follow, join or tweet, - Posting views about the currency on certain social media forum, - Joining few peculiar members of the blockchain project, or - Write a blog post. Types of Crypto Airdrops 1. Standard Airdrop Here, interested participants to get free airdrop simply express their interest to grab tons of assets through the program. A user should have a valid wallet address, in fact there are few airdrops that does not require any additional information apart from this. In this airdrop campaign the project has a set of assets to issue with a limit on number of tokens each person will receive. Hence, some standard airdrops usually come as time-sensitive, though this type seems quite popular due to its simplicity. Single user tends to create multiple wallets to quickly grasp the airdrop amount, as later these might be more difficult to obtain. 2. Bounty Airdrop This type is initiated when users need to pick and complete certain tasks. Irrespective of the number, such tasks often entail creating enhanced awareness of a specific project by posting on various social media and tagging the company or retweeting some recent activity about the project. Project might also issue some referral bonuses or finder's fees for active participants who recruit referred person getting signed up for the project's newsletter, or participate in the project Discord channel. After completing the tasks, the user receives additional points corresponding to set bounty airdrop bonus ratio they receive. 3. Holder Airdrop This type is automatically based on the person holding current assets and the number of tokens they hold. As the wallets and blockchain details are part of a publicly distributed ledger, participants of blockchain get entire transparency into the wallets and issuance of tokens. The downside to this type of airdrop campaign is the user holding assets may not want an airdrop. Henceforth, holder airdrops confirms that only the largest, most invested person receive the benefit. Some of them might only award an airdrop if they are holding a particular number of tokens; or else, they may pro-rate the award amount. 4. Exclusive Airdrop Such type happens when user is individually selected for the airdrop program. The difference lies in their selection as they might not be selected based on the number of tokens, they hold instead based on other factors like the time spent on a project, most money consumed on non-token activity, or count of posts in a forum. This airdrop is much more centralized way to reward and credit the closest user to the project. 5. Raffle Airdrop Some of the above-mentioned categories of airdrops can be combined with a raffle airdrop. Usually, the project can state the airdrops ratio they are willing to issue and encourage users to earn a raffle ticket. Such ticket may be earned by holding assets, earning points, or simply showing interest. Ultimately, the number of users joining the airdrop often outdo the number of airdrops the company intends to distribute. Hence, a raffle is initiated for a limited number of wallets which gets randomly selected to receive the airdrop. What is the Crypto Airdrop Process? This procedure starts by the project or certain company deciding to announce an airdrop. This might come in response to a hard fork in the network, market tactics, or a way to incentivize existing investors. The first and foremost step is to choose how the airdrop will get facilitated and eligibility criteria. Then following step is to broad, general airdrops launch as the public campaign which consist of collecting data for interested participants. This is usually limited to only few wallet addresses, though project might also collect e-mail addresses to grow their contact list. Few other types of airdrop programs can also depend on a snapshot, a capture of an instance that recognizes the person matching certain criteria. Once the list of recipients joining the airdrop is selected, program is facilitated via using smart contracts where the firm chooses to utilize their Treasury wallet getting the airdrop. The company usually publicizes the transaction block to reveal the equitability of the airdrop campaign. The transaction portrays the airdrop shoving off the company's wallet and distributing to the eligible recipients. Airdrop recipients then directly get the assets without accepting the tokens, though, few might need to add the asset along with its address to certain wallet in order to appropriately view their wallet token balance. About Cryptocurrency Airdrop Scams An authorized crypto airdrop never looks for the capital investment in the currency. Rather it’s focus is purely promotional. On the contrary, few crypto scams send the micro amounts of assets to unsuspecting recipients which is called as a dusting scam. There are other airdrop scams depends on directing an investor to link their wallet to some sort of phishing website if they wish to claim certain airdrop. Usually, the web3 address will evoke a user to connect their addresses using any wallet services like MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or Oasis. Right after they link their wallet by offering secret phrase/keys, the scam gets done. Next airdrop scam might happen by enticing market participants willing to invest in a certain security in hopes of filling their pockets with airdropped getting some different item. Say for instance, a project may boast about keeping some NFTs in a wallet will get owners receive a rare airdrop. Though the airdrop seems legitimate, its project owners think to entice market activity of the NFT to only sell theirs at a higher price. Avoid Airdrop Scams You always need to be vigilant about unprompted deposits into your crypto wallets. In addition, you must be cautious of the projects you think to invest in or attempt to claim tokens for. Any user should follow the genuine mostly used phrase - "do your own research". We advise any crypto-enthusiasts not to link your addresses to websites you are not familiar with. Research on any associated project particularly if it includes some external links, you must click on to browse directly from the project. Consider bookmarking usual sites you plan on checking out frequently to confirm you are always connecting to the right site. Most of them times, firms publicly announce the airdrops and other promotions so consider following such transparent project on social media, reliable forums, or legitimate Discord channels to stay intact with the upcoming events. You need to be mindful that complicated scams may replicate, drive, or imitate project social profiles. Crypto Airdrops Pros and Cons Pros - Rewards early participants or adopters engaged holding a stake in a project - Create project awareness using the exceptional marketing aspect of an airdrop - Motivates the use and adoption of an emerging issued token or assets - Issue tokens across holders which might not naturally happen in an open market Cons - Pose security threats if wallet holders link their wallets to suspicious project to claim airdrop - Might be used as "pump-and-dump" schemes - Divert few investors from joining if they choose any different modes to distribute the assets - Comes out to be worthless if the asset does not have liquidity on some exchange Final Take Crypto airdrops are a way for projects and firms to positively raise awareness of their asset and token backing up the entire ecosystem. In fact, it is a method to raise the liquidity of their security by issuing the asset away to thousands of variant wallets. Though airdrops holds certain value and may be considered as free money to get distributed, you need to ensure about the significant risks associated and be aware of potential scams coming with certain crypto airdrops. submitted by AirdropMarks23 to u/AirdropMarks23 [link] [comments] |

2023.03.21 12:14 coingabbarupdate Why go for a ChatGPT alternative?
ChatGPT is a cutting-edge model for machine learning used for natural language processing (NLP). Real-time discussion replies that are tailored and context-sensitive can be produced using it.
The key advantage of a ChatGPT substitute is that it has a hugely varied collection of capabilities to accommodate various use cases. Hence, despite being a fantastic tool and the talk of the town, ChatGPT has its drawbacks:
- Cost: ChatGPT is a powerful tool, but it can be quite expensive to use. Some people might be looking for a more affordable option that still provides high-quality language processing capabilities.
- Privacy: Some people might be concerned about the privacy implications of using a tool like ChatGPT, which relies on large amounts of data to function. They may be looking for an alternative that is more privacy-focused.
- Customization: While ChatGPT is highly advanced, it may not be able to meet the specific needs of every user or business. Some people might be looking for an alternative that allows for more customization and control over the language processing capabilities.
- Unique features: There are now many different AI writing assistants available, each with its own unique set of features and capabilities. Some people might be looking for an alternative that offers something different or specialized that ChatGPT does not provide.
Here is the list of alternatives for ChatGPT.
ChatSonic
ChatSonic comes first in the list as it is among the most recent and comprehensive ChatGPT substitutes that have recently gained popularity. As it was constructed using ChatGPT as a foundation, it gains access to all of its enormous possibilities.
ChatSonic delivers the most latest information about events and issues that are now taking place by using Google's knowledge network to find up-to-date, accurate information.
What assistance does ChatSonic's AI provide, though? By using ChatSonic AI, which is also capable of handling daily tasks, any query may be appropriately addressed. To generate accurate summaries and insights on current events, trends, and conversations, ChatSonic, a free solution for ChatGPT, employs NLP and machine learning.
ChatSonic AI is a cutting-edge and potent GPT3 chatbot that can stay up to date with current events, providing it an advantage in terms of accuracy and dependability.
Jasper Chat by Jasper
Jasper Chat is AI tool that can assist online content creators and advertising agencies in scaling their operations.
In comparison to the other ChatGPT options on this list, it is essentially an AI content-generating robot with a lot more business-oriented functionality. It can also generate commercial copy, caption social media posts, write video scripts, and do a lot more.
Jasper also includes a relatively new chatbot in addition to its content-generating capabilities and other services. This ChatGPT substitute, aptly called Jasper Chat, is built on GPT 3.5 and additional language models and has OpenAI as a partner.
JasperChat, in contrast to ChatGPT, was created for
businesses like marketing, advertising, and other similar fields.
Replika
Replika is an advanced AI friend with more than 10 million users. It is significantly more sophisticated than its forerunners and is capable of recognizing visual cues and using them to maintain the flow of the discussion.
It is one of the best ChatGPT alternatives to encourage your creative thinking while you're feeling lonely. It is an AI-powered chatbot that acts more like a buddy than anything else and will instantly reply to every text you send. Replika will listen to your conversations with friends and family about life, love, and other universal subjects.
Replika uses the autoregressive GPT-3 language model, which means it picks up new information from its prior inputs (in this case, your prompts). It can use past
information about your life to effectively mold itself to you because its main goal is to have meaningful conversations with people.
Character AI
Character AI does exactly what it says on the tin: it is an artificial intelligence tool that enables users to communicate with synthetic replicas of well-known personalities from movies and TV shows.
One interesting aspect of character AI is creating characters because you can customize them as you go. In addition to choosing the characters' names, I could also give them a welcome, a voice, a description, and even an avatar.
An avatar-generation image generator is integrated into the
AI. You can immediately start conversing after finishing and even share it with others.
Character AI has drawbacks. It is more of a novelty tool to have a little fun with because its responses are not as consistently accurate or as valuable as the ChatGPT. There aren't many AI programs that are better if all you want is something to keep you entertained than Character AI.
Perplexity AI
Perplexity AI is a ChatGPT alternative that has been trained on OpenAI's API as well, and as a result, it works well and provides accurate responses. The website has a clean, straightforward design and has been packed simply.
One feature that sets Perplexity apart is the way it cleanly organizes the sources utilized to produce the answers it provides to users, allowing you to assess their legitimacy and credibility.
Perplexity AI doesn't even require an account and is totally
free to use. So, you can converse with this ChatGPT-like program and even look at some of its citations.
Conclusion
We sincerely hope that any of these ChatGPT substitutes can match the original AI chatbot in terms of quality. As you can see, the number of AI bots is quite large. Jasper Chat by Jasper and ChatSonic are two solid paid choices to take into consideration if you require more sophisticated features like data export or customizations.

2023.03.21 12:14 Free-Helicopter2577 My Grandpa used to be cool, now he's just an asshole
My (15M) Grandpa (64M) is now a retired seaman. I don't remember any exact details about his past, just little snippets. But I do know that he married my grandma (60F) around the early 80's, then had my Dad who became the oldest brother of 3 other kids.
According to my grandma, ever since my Dad and his brother and sisters were little, he always had issues with his anger. Doing things ranging from slapping my dad across the face to yelling at them with such force that you really can't help but cry, even if he hadn't laid a hand on you.
Although, things sort of changed when they started getting older. More specifically, when I was born. I was his first grandson. And according to Grandma, he used to spoil me rotten. He used to be the one who fed me a lot, and often even gave me a lot of gifts whenever he was around and not on a boat.
And then my little brother arrived. I never really had an issue where I would think that my parents or my family from my mother's side had any sort of "favoritism" or "bias" towards my little brother (or if there was, it was probably unnoticeable) but when it came to the people on my father's side, specifically my grandfather, the favoritism was, to say the least, more noticeable. I noticed them paying more attention towards my little brother (not talking to me when I try to call for their attention), and always spoiling him rotten with things like a bicycle or stuff like that. But again, it never really bothered me much.
He retired in 2016. And theres sort of a timeframe when he seemed to treat us equally for a time. We would always go to the mall with him and my LB and we would always do things together. I enjoyed spending time in his home. So much so that every weekend I would even ask Dad to bring us to his house so we could hang out with Grandpa.
However, as I grew older, he started to noticeably change.
He's been more moody and in some weeks we even had to cancel going to his house because he was apparently "not in the mood"
The most noticeable incident that paved my way of thinking of him, the event that made me see who he REALLY was, happened when I was just 9.
One of my biggest chores at that time was to always let our dog, Zion, outside of the house. I would always do it every afternoon after I arrive from school. However, I would always just tie him in front of the house since most of the time I can't even hold him without either being dragged or almost killed when he runs. And on this particular afternoon, that was what I was doing. I tied my dog outside our house and I was sitting somewhere in the close distance waiting for Zion to take a dump. And thats when Grandpa came in.
He was FURIOUS. I greeted him and he just yelled "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? CANT YOU SEE YOUR KILLING THE DOG?" and me being dumb and thinking that this was one of his jokes, I replied with "I tied him there and I'm waiting for him to poop" and he walked towards the dog and started untying its leash from the gate. He then yelled at me "GET INSIDE!" Now with a more stern tone. That's when I knew I was in trouble.
And so I went inside. Thinking that I was probably gonna get yelled at by a lot, but boy was I wrong.
There was no yelling. Instead he just went inside the house, grabbed me by my uniform collar, then grabbed me by my jaw. After that, he slammed my back against the living room wall, and stared at my eyes, like a psycho. That's when I knew, I wasn't just in trouble. No, in other troubles, I just usually think "Oh no, I shouldnt have done that" and start regretting my actions after. But now, I felt no sense of regret. Not because of the fact that I was being rebellious, but because all I felt during that time was pure, unfiltered, fear. Now I have felt plenty of fear in my life, whether it be from ghosts and shit, but this was different. It's like HE KNOWS specifically what to do to make you feel this way. The way he stares into your eyes, looking like he has killing intent, and your just left there thinking "I'm gonna die"
He never yelled. Not once. He was just mumbling to my gaping face "Do you want your dog to die? Huh? HUH?" with every "huh" he started shaking me upwards.
I don't remember any details of what happened in between of that moment and the end of that moment, but the end was what always stuck with me and always had, even to this day.
"I swear to God, I'm gonna choke you. I've been holding my anger back from you, oh yes I've been! DONT WAIT UNTIL MY BLOOD REACHES MY HEAD!"
Reminder that he was saying these things to a 9-year-old who still doesn't know what he did wrong.
Nobody still knows that happened. Only I do. Suprisingly, even my neighbors never seemed to notice it happening, either.
The thing that bothered me the most is, I STILL dont know what I did wrong to "kill our dog". And to this day, Zion is still alive and kicking at 8 years old.
Anyways, I expected to be talked to him about what happened. You know, sort of like an intervention kinda thing. But no. No talks, no apologies. He was just acting like nothing had happened.
I thought he had some form of DID, since I NEVER expected him being able to talk or yell like that, but my other experiences would soon destroy that theory.
Fast forward to the pandemic, and I think that's where he changed.
I won't really go into much detail since this is private family matters but basically his younges daughter, my Aunt, got pregnant with someone whom most of my family didn't approve of. And then, my baby cousin, whom we'll call "Shiela" was born in 2021.
And during that time too, my Mom began focusing on her and Dad's business a lot more, which meant that I had to stay at their house, and go to school from there.
It's been about 4 years since that incident happened, and by now (by some miracle) I seemed to have forgiven him for what happened.
And his attitudes started to show a lot more.
I dont really wanna make this whole story a lot longer so Imma just list the things hes done.
- On a beach trip, had everyone drink contaminated water and swore that what he gave us wasn't contaminated. The numerous counts of guests (including me) getting Diarrhea disproved that (No apologies, no talks given)
- On the same trip, after we arrive home, yells at ME for pushing younger cousin aside (not even a full push just a lil tussle) despite being told I needed to go first because of Diarrhea that HE caused (No apologies, no talk)
- One time after arriving home from a long walk, goes home in a grumpy mood, calls me downstairs, I tell him "What is it?" and he yells at me to "fix my attitude" then later on while I was taking a shower, he OPENS THE SHOWER CURTAIN WIDE and sees me butt naked, then just mumbles at me "You better fix that attitude of yours cause I've been holding my anger back on you!" Again, I do not know what I did. (he says that a lot) (No apologies, no talk)
- Maids me around. I'm pretty fine with chores but the way he asks me around seems super demeaning. It's come to the point where I've started to hate hearing my first name.
I have many more experiences, but it would be too much to list lol. I would like some tips on how I could deal with this situation. I've considered some decent measures, while some drastic like running away etc. But I would like some tips that you guys can give me on how I could deal with this man. If yall need context with anything or assurances, feel free to ask :)

2023.03.21 12:14 EcchiOli [SUGGESTION] for the dev team: more detailed, more specific invalid housing messages
Hello there, my beloved developers,
Here's a friendly recommendation for Terraria updates: replace the "
this is not valid housing" error message with more detailed error messages.
At the moment, - the Terraria sub is plagued by far too frequent "why is my housing invalid" low-effort posts, - those posts are degrading the formerly friendly and welcoming mood of the sub. I know this isn't just me, the atmosphere has been kinda tense those last months.
I call these posts "low effort", because all it would take is read the Housing wiki page and experiment. Something like ten minutes of solo homework, but plenty of people won't do that effort.
So, instead of getting angry at unfortunate newbies who maybe didn't even know the wiki had the answer, why, let's help them with a helpful error message that tells them what is going on behind the "
this is not valid housing" error message :)
How the update I recommend could help, sourced from
https://terraria.wiki.gg/wiki/House#Minimal_house_sizes: split the "
this is not valid housing" error into: - You need at least 1 free solid block for your NPC to stand on (platforms do not count) - The house frame isn't closed - Too much evil/corruption around the house - This is not valid housing. Maybe read the Terraria wiki, or search on Reddit (Apparently
https://terraria.wiki.gg/wiki/House#Minimal_house_sizes allows for yet more subtle exceptions, so, eh, that's for the remaining options :D )
Adding that update would fix 75% of the "why is my housing not valid" posts on the sub, and significantly improve the lives of players.
How about it ? :)

2023.03.21 12:14 Audra2023 75% of employees are distracted by social media during work hours. Here's how you can change that and increase employee productivity
4 Minutes Read
- Create and enforce better internet usage policies
- Employees believe it is the employer’s job to implement better rules and regulations
- One-tap solutions can help SMEs manage employee productivity easily
As the old adage goes,
time is money, so there's little wonder why employee productivity during working hours is often used as a key measure when determining performance.
In a recent study conducted by Screen Education, it was found that up to 35% of respondents admitted to spending “
too much time” on non-work distractions. Although the true number is probably higher, the fact that over a third of your workforce is ready to admit that they’re being distracted is definitely something to pay attention to.
Unsurprisingly, however, the biggest culprit was the use of social media in the office at 74.4%. With today’s social apps being consciously crafted in ways that suck in your attention for hours, there’s little wonder how this statistic emerged.
Doom scrolling is
a real problem, and when that happens in the workplace, it doesn’t just distract your employees from the “present”. The phenomenon has real lasting effects that range from physical fatigue to the triggering mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression - neither of which are desirable traits to say the least.
Beyond the allure of likes and dance videos, other distractions seemed a little less alarming - 6% blamed it on shopping, 4% confessed to watching non-work related videos, and 3% were busy reading the news.
But why are any of these stats important at all? Surely your employees deserve a mental break every now and then, right?
Internet addiction affecting employee productivity
Mental health is no laughing matter, and at Audra, we’re serious advocates for it. However, digital distractions aren’t just your problem as an employer anymore.
In fact, the same study goes on to report that up to 87% of the respondents were aware that these digital distractions were responsible for hurting not just their own, but the company at large’s overall productivity too.
After all, there’s nothing more infuriating than waiting on a teammate to reply to an urgent request, only to find them too busy to reply because they’re shopping for a new pair of shoes at their desk.
But don’t take our word for it. 31% of respondents claimed that open conflict erupted at their workplaces as a direct result of the lost productivity to the digital abyss.
Still not sure why it’s your problem? Then maybe these stats will help you understand it a little better:
- 62% of employees believed that it was the employer’s responsibility to address these digital distractions at work
- 65% of employees advocated for the restriction of their fellow employees digital freedoms in the workplace
- Only 39.5% said that their employer had any policies in place to restrict the amount of non-work digital usage during work hours
- Of that number, only 33.1% felt their employers adequately enforced the said policies
But isn’t this form of control unethical?
Well, you’ll be surprised to find out that up to 65.3% of surveyed employees expressed their willingness to use a solution that would effectively restrict their access to non-work digital content while they’re at work.
Is this a cry for help, or is this just the reality of how deep a grip the digital abyss has on today’s employees? You decide.
Implementing the right check and balances in the workplace
Experts advise that positive changes in the overall company culture can be an effective way to get your team back in the game and suggest various quality of life tweaks at the workplace to kick this off.
Decluttering the workspace tends to be a frequent recommendation, citing that a messy desk often results in a messy mind, but in today’s day and age we’re more than aware that
creatively inclined individuals tend to thrive in messier surroundings.
Employees are also urged to take
short breaks throughout the day to rejuvenate their concentration, but more often than not, it's these very breaks that lead employees into the digital abyss.
So where does that leave us? Do we leave our employees to self govern, pull them out of the abyss whenever we notice them dropping in and silently hope that they don’t regress?
Absolutely not. As an employer, you owe it to your team to give them the right working environment that’s guided with fair and balanced IT usage policies and with Audra that’s all possible with just one tap.
1. Create groups Different teams have different digital requirements, and by grouping your employees in the right teams, you can easily allow necessary access to apps and websites or block potential digital abysses in just one tap.
2. Block categories With Audra’s category blocking feature, you can easily select common categories of digital distractions like shopping or sports sites to block in the office. Simply tap on the category name, and let our AI do the rest.
3. Whitelisting sites Blocking entire categories of sites could affect some specific work functions, and the whitelisting feature lets you quickly allow access to specific required websites. Do this company wide or by access group - you decide.
4. Work schedules Ensure work-life balance by setting fixed working schedules for operational roles. Decide when your team should be working, and when they should be away from their machines through automatically enforceable working schedules.

2023.03.21 12:14 RittyDas Benefits of Using Fire-Retardant ACP Sheets in Building Construction
No builder wants to design a building that is prone to fire accidents. Yet, working with traditional building or cladding materials made constructions prone to fire accidents, and ultimately loss of life and property. Hence, to avoid fire accidents the selection of the right cladding material is important.
With advancements in technology, fire-retardant ACP sheets have been introduced to offer more safety and security to structures. Fire-retardant ACPs are designed by replacing a Polyethylene core with a mineral-filled core.
Let’s take a look at the benefits of such ACPs.

Ability to Endure High Temperature
Fire-retardant ACP sheets have the ability to withstand high temperatures. This is not the same when it comes to other traditional cladding materials. Since these ACPs have specialised cores made of non-combustible materials, they do not catch fire.
Does not Create Smoke
Since FR-grade ACPs do not catch fire, they naturally do not cause smoke. And this is a major benefit, especially when smoke is the main cause of loss of life in fire accidents. That’s what most fire accidents have witnessed. Smoke not only causes visual problems and panic, it causes asphyxiation. Hence, these fire-retardant ACP sheets can prove to be great cladding materials, lowering the chances of smoke.
No Molten Droplets
Certain materials can melt in high temperatures. However, that is not the case with Aluminium. With a high melting point, aluminium does not melt. And hence, aluminium composite panels do not create molten droplets, which can be dangerous for both life and property.
More Time for Evacuation
FR-grade ACPs are highly durable and can withstand harsh environmental conditions such as extreme temperatures. Since they do not catch fire easily and do not cause smoke, they allow people to be evacuated in time.
Fire-retardant ACP sheets can offer upto hours of safety, which is plenty of time to carry out evacuation or rescue missions.
Hence, besides offering aesthetically pleasing looks, ACPs offer much more advantages as cladding materials. It is evident how these specialised fire-proof materials can help slow down the spread of fire and not allow it to spread.

2023.03.21 12:13 vadim6fwus1 How Practicing Gratitude Can Improve Your Mental Health
Hello, PositivePsychology community! Today, I want to talk about the power of gratitude and how it can improve your mental health.
Studies have shown that practicing gratitude can increase happiness, improve relationships, and even boost physical health. By focusing on the good things in our lives, we can shift our perspective and develop a more positive outlook.
One way to practice gratitude is to start a gratitude journal. Each day, take a few minutes to write down things you are thankful for. It can be as simple as a sunny day, a good meal, or spending time with loved ones.
Another way to cultivate gratitude is to express it to others. Send a thank you note, or simply tell someone how much you appreciate them. By sharing your gratitude, you not only make someone else feel good, but you also reinforce positive feelings within yourself.
Finally, it's important to remember that gratitude is a practice, not a one-time event. Make it a habit to focus on the good things in your life, even during tough times. By doing so, you can build resilience and improve your overall well-being.
So, let's all make a commitment to practice gratitude and reap the benefits it can bring to our lives. What are some things you are grateful for today? Let's share in the comments below!

2023.03.21 12:13 blackdott44 The new Burger King commercials are fucking TRASH
I'm one of the 4 people left on Earth who still liked BK so these commercials' existences give me more embarassment than when I thought I locked myself in the freezer door working at Arby's but then it turned out I was pulling instead of pushing.
I don't even know where to begin. They're not catchy, they repeat "whopper" so many times I'm convinced the singer is trapped in a fucking time loop, and yes guy I know what goes on burgers, it takes zero brain cell to know what burger toppings are. The singer sounds like he's asleep. Special s/o to the one with the family riding the car because the lyrics had nothing to do with the restaurant yet used the same tune. Now I hate football more than I already do. Thanks, Burger King
Commercials in the late 2010s and 2020s are bad enough but now suddenly ANYTHING can be a fuckin commercial. I can literally pitch WAP to a PBS Kids ad campaign right now and they'll accept it, that's how much you don't have to give a shit to get a commercial apparently
