| Hello all, I'm getting ready to repot the herbs I've started in my DIY cabinet and I feel like some of these plants aren't doing as well as they could. I thought perhaps it was a lighting issue and wanted to get some feedback deom the community. 2023.03.30 20:18 Kacey-ViamRobotics I created an easy DIY mouse mover so I could sleep in using a Raspberry Pi and a servo!
Full tutorial here Code here Here's a quick rundown of how I made it: - Installed viam-server on the Raspberry Pi
- Set up a board component called "local" to initialize my Raspberry Pi
- Set up servo component called "fs90r" to initialize the FS90R servo
- Used the Python SDK to input simple controlling code that tells the servo to randomly sweep back and forth for a random amount of time.
Finally, I gave it a mouse house - a box! Only the best for my mouse napping conspirator.

2023.03.30 20:15 IrvingsGhost [M4F] A nostalgic and romantic Halloween? Count me in!
I posted earlier but some of my DMs seem to have been glitched out, so I’m going to try again and add a bit more detail and clarification this time.
Do you love Halloween? Is fall your favorite season? Do you like cute and cozy romances? Then maybe we should be partners! I’m a Halloween lover, and an Autumn lover in general. To me, it truly is the greatest season of all time and I think it’s the perfect season for a romantic and dramatic story. That’s what I’m hoping to find here!
This story would be set in the late 90s, where films like The Craft and Scream are part of the common consciousness, and Halloween still held magic. Halloween town is airing for its first time and hocus pocus is essential essential viewing on VHS. Neighborhood kids ride bikes to each other’s houses while teenagers meet at misty Autumn lakes for impromptu campfires filled with urban legends of hook-handed psychos. Halloween held a power over that era, and I want to recapture it in this roleplay! Also, you don’t actually have to be from the 90s for this, I myself was born in the late 90s so I was hardly conscious then. I just think the setting would be fun and unique!
Here’s an overview of my idea for the actual plot:
Our characters are young adults, possibly from the same town and possibly familiar with each-other (or you could be new to town, up to you). It’s early October and the summer heat has retreated, leaving chilly mornings and the first hints of dying leaves. My character’s best friend is planning a massive Halloween party, and the time is ticking for him to find a date.
Here is where I have two separate but equally interesting ideas, this could simply be a boy-meets_girl slice of life story, or we could take it in a supernatural direction!
If we keep it just a romantic story, then obviously our characters would get to know eachother, go on cute fall dates to the pumpkin patch, haunted houses, costume shops, etc..
If we take it into a supernatural direction, I’d like to add a whimsical horror element to the mix! Maybe the spirit of Halloween is angry and begins to bring Halloween entities to life and our characters are the unlikely heroes? I’d love to capture the whimsy of Halloween, maybe we have to fend off bedsheet ghosts and pumpkin headed horsemen?
The main thing is, I want to capture that comfy nostalgic feeling of the era, and inject it with a healthy amount of romance and character growth! I think using settings such as pumpkin patches and costume stores would be a ton of fun, whether it gets supernatural or not!
Now for the technical stuff! I’m in EST time zone, and I only RP on discord for simplicity sake! I am semi-literate and will never one line you, as I always strive for multiple paragraphs! I am usually working during the day but I will try and get responses out on my down time which is pretty often!
If you’re interested in this, please be willing to discuss with me! If you’re expecting me to have everything meticulously planned out and ready, I will disappoint you! But if your down to brainstorm and make this something we both care about, I can’t wait to chat!

2023.03.30 20:10 Traderjoestaki Trip report: first ever solo trip to Norway
I (19F) just finished my first ever solo trip to Norway, so I thought I’d write a bit about it! I’m currently on a semester abroad (I’m American) and flew over here by myself, but that was the extent of my solo travel experience before this.
5 days, 4 nights
Cost ($USD): Hostels: $126.27 Flights: $213.17 Public transit/trains: $260.31 Food/activities/misc: $235.04
Total: $834.79
Day 1: Travel day, Oslo afternoon/evening Flight 1: Ryanair, average Ryanair flight experience, nothing too notable Flight 2: Norse Atlantic, very empty flight & everyone had a row to themselves with many totally unoccupied rows, no complaints.
Arrived to my hostel around 4pm, spent the evening wandering around. Ate dinner at Oslo Street Food and walked up the opera house to see the city at night before retiring relatively early.
Day 2: Oslo day
National museum, walked around the Frogner area, ate crepes at Crêperie de Mari (delish), took the ferry over to Hovedøya and wandered around in the woods for a little, saw the ruins, went to Ekebergparken, got dinner and chatted with my hostel mates.
Day 3: Norway in a Nutshell (DIY)
This day I followed the Norway in a Nutshell itinerary of Oslo->Myrdal->Flåm->Gudvangen->Voss->Bergen. I cannot recommend it enough! Stunning views the whole day. My favorite part was the fjord cruise, but the whole day was amazing. I booked all the tickets myself separately, so it was a sort of DIY Norway in a Nutshell. I ended up saving around 300kr from the sticker price, partially because I was able to book student tickets. Also, it was super clear this day, despite being rainy and cloudy for the rest of my trip. This was the best day for it to be great weather, as it made the views all the more beautiful with the sun shining down on the mountains and fjords.
Day 4: Bergen
Took the funicular up Mount Fløyen and walked around in the woods a bit to Skomakerdiket. There was a cafe at the top of the funicular so I sat there and journaled a bit. It was snowing at this time, which turned to rain later in the day. Went back down the mountain and took the light rail to Troldhaugen (Edvard Grieg’s Home). Went back into the city and visited Bryggen and Bergenhus Festning and got dinner before catching an overnight train back to Oslo (paid 100kr extra for a lie flat seat - would highly recommend).
Day 5: Oslo morning, fly out afternoon
Visited Vigelandsparken, got some tea and journaled in a cafe, went back up the opera house for one last view of the city, caught the train to the airport. Flew on to my next (non solo) destination on Norwegian and no complaints.
What went right:
All my transportation was on time, hostels were clean, and I never felt unsafe. I was able to figure out all the public transit despite not knowing any Norwegian, although it helps that I know German and English and enough of the key words on signs are similar (that is if the signs didn’t also have English on them, which many did). It was nice to be able to do whatever I wanted and not have to discuss with a whole group. Finally, I dressed warmly enough. There were a lot of people on my fjord cruise who were inadequately dressed and had to stay inside for most of it, so they missed out on the best views.
What went wrong:
Honestly nothing. It was a bit rainy for most of the trip, but I just put on my raincoat and went out anyway. Also the Voss gondola was closed early on the day I got there, which was annoying.
Final verdict:
I loved both Norway and solo traveling! I definitely want to solo travel again, and I want to visit Norway in warmer weather and with someone else so that I can actually go hiking. It would be cool to rent a car and drive around to more remote areas, or visit some of the more northern towns.

2023.03.30 20:05 acnhRen Tips for new ACNH players
Hi, All!
Because there are so many new ACNH players posting similar questions each day, I thought I'd put together this "Tips" post as sort of a "go-to" guide.
Ways to maximize getting Bells:
- Find the glowing spot, dig it up, and bury 10,000 bells in the hole EVERY day. Soon you'll have 4 trees in various stages of growth that will give you 30,000 bells every day.
- Pop as many balloons as you can each day. Some will give you ores, some will give furniture or decor items, and some (mainly the yellow ones) will give bells. One yellow balloon will cross your island each day that has 30,000 bells. Sell whatever furniture/decor and ore items you don't want.
- Hit your money rock every day. Will net you 16,100 bells.
- Get your hands on a wet suit as quickly as you can and go diving every day. You can earn a lot of bells catching and selling sea creatures ... and you won't break tools doing it. :)
- Take full advantage of shark season. Not only are the sharks worth a lot of bells, but the bugs that also spawn during shark season are worth the most bells.
- Dig up fossils every day. Donate them to the museum and sell the duplicates. The faster you complete the fossil section of your museum, the faster you'll be able to sell all of the fossils that spawn on your island each day, which can net you up to 24,000 bells a day.
- Gather all of the fruits (apple, cherry, coconut, orange, peach, pear) and vegetables (carrots, pumpkins, sugar cane, tomatoes, wheat) and plant them. Once they mature, you can harvest them every few days and sell the crops. Don't forget to water them each day after harvesting to maximize crop production! You'll also need the crops for food recipes.
- Craft the "hot item" each day and sell it. If you're lucky, the hot item will be the donation box. If you craft it and fill it will bells, you'll double your money for the cost of a few pieces of wood!
- Shake your trees! Not only will you be able to catch 5 wasps and collect their nests each day (another 15,000 bells!), 10 trees will drop 100 bells, and one will drop a furniture item that can be sold if you don't want it. Also, during the fall and winter seasons, the trees will drop acorns, pine cones, and ornaments that can be sold if not needed for crafting.
- Play the stalk market. Not only can you generate a very sizeable profit each week, you'll be working toward completing the "Cornering the Stalk Market" NMT task.
Daily tasks:
- Earn as many NMTs as you can each day by completing the Nook Miles + tasks. Save those NMTs! They're probably one of the most valuable items in the game. You'll need NMTs to find the villagers you want as well as to acquire certain items and recipes obtained through the kiosk in Resident Services.
- You can earn up to 10,000 NMTs every day if you have the DLC pack and the bells to design and re-design your villagers homes each day. Simply changing one design feature in the interior or exterior of a villager's home is enough to earn 1,000 NMTs. It costs 9,000 bells to design a villager's home each time, but if you need NMTs more than Bells, it's a quick way to generate a lot of them.
- Hit all of your rocks every day. Save any gold nuggets the rocks throw out. You'll need as many as you can get your hands on for crafting a number of items. Stockpile at least 120 of each ore. You'll be glad you did later on. :D
- Catch fish/bugs and donate them to the museum. Hold on to what you don't donate and sell them to CJ or Flick when they visit to make more Bells that what you would by selling them to Nooks. Also, Nook Miles + tasks include catching fish/bugs and selling 5,000 Bells worth of items ... sometimes more than once per day ... so you can earn NMTs, work at completing your museum, and earn Bells at the same time by simply catching bugs/fish and donating/selling them! Win-win!!
- Talk to your villagers! Not only will it help improve your friendship with them (which helps those who may be trying to get rid of a specific villager), it increases the chances they'll give you a gift each day, which you can sell.
Designing your island:
- Don't fret over designing and decorating your island.
- Take your time and develop a plan, then work on creating it on your island a little bit at a time.
- When deciding what you want for your island theme, consider what your "happy place(s)" is ... where do you go physically or in your head when you're stressed and needing to "escape" the real world for a little bit of relief? Designing areas on your island that mimic your happy place irl can help make playing a bit more enjoyable than trying to create something out of thin air that you're not familiar with.
- There's no getting around the grind of collecting diy crafting recipes and shopping to acquire the furniture/decor items for decorating your home and island. Just embrace the suck and use it to maximize earning NMTs (crafting, customizing, or buying when it's in your Nook Miles + task list to complete DIY projects, customize items, or spend 5,000 Bells).
- Use terraforming to create cliffs and waterfalls for a vertical background design element along with trees. Use water (rivers/ponds) for side and foreground horizontal design elements.
- Make use of shrubs and flowers as filler.
- Short fences and shrubs can be used to define the front and sides of a small area, while taller fences and trees can be used to define the background of a small area.
- Unless you're going to have a "rainbow" island, pick 2 or 3 colors for your primary palette to use throughout your island. White, black, and brown are considered "neutrals," so "colors" would be pink, blue, purple, orange, yellow, and red. An exception could be the green mums being considered a "neutral."
- If you are going to be successful in completing the fishing tourneys and bug-offs, consider that you'll need quick access to rivers, ponds, oceans, and wide open spaces from your Resident Services for those events. In other words, when terraforming and placing furniture, make sure you don't create obstacles that prevent you from getting to your rivepond/beach and a wide open area quickly (within a couple of seconds).
- Don't forget that music can set the tone of an area on your island. The shell and wood music boxes can be incorporated into an area's design and used to play soft music (so you don't have to listen to the island's background music). There are other music player options if you want more volume.
- If you have the DLC pak, design the exterior of your villagers' homes to fit in with your island theme (i.e., if your theme is "forest core", give your villagers log cabin home exteriors, etc.)
- Choose custom paths that fit with your island theme.
- Cohesiveness is the key to having a truly good looking island ... from paths to fencing to villager home exteriors to furniture/decor.
Other tidbits:
- You can run faster if you press the B button. You can also trample your flowers when you run fast through them! But, they do re-bloom.
- You can swim faster if you press the A button.
- It's better to sneak up on fast moving sea creatures by using your left stick to slowly move in the direction the creature is moving.
- You can do a flip off your dock and flat beach rocks by running (pressing the B button), then pressing the A button just as you reach the end of the dock/rock.
- You can avoid getting stung by wasps by running into a building or a gazebo or opening your airport gates before shaking trees.
- You can have coffee at Brewster's with players visiting your island.
- You can slide by running fast (B button) then changing direction quickly.
- Villager toe beans are the cutest! <3
- When you fly somewhere or another player visits you, look up in the sky after landing and you'll see a white streak across the sky left by the airplane's exhaust.
- There's a 15 day period between the time a new villager moves in and another villager can ask to move out. Also, the last villager who asks to leave can't ask again until another villager has asked to leave.
- Fastest way to get a villager to leave is to: 1) talk to them/give them gifts to increase your friendship with them; 2) time travel one month into the future; 3) look for the villager near their home and resident services and see if they have a thought bubble; 4) if so, talk to them to see if they ask to leave; 5) if not, time travel one day into the future and check again; 6) if the villager still doesn't have a thought bubble, travel back to the current day and repeat steps 1-5.
And, most importantly, HAVE FUN playing!
- Play at your own speed and don't fret if your island doesn't look as "complete" as other players' islands. Keep in mind, it takes time to acquire enough items and resources to decorate an entire island. Many players have been playing since the game's initial release and have put in the time to acquire items and resources. Just know that, if you continue to play each day, you will reach that point as well.
- Take breaks if you're feeling overwhelmed or beginning to feel burned out.
- This game is designed to be played for the long-haul. Even after obtaining all diy recipes, crafting/cataloging every item, having all of the villagers you want move to your island, growing all of the hybrid flowers, and terraforming your island the way you want it, the game is still meant to be enjoyed via daily interaction with your villagers and other NPCs.
- There's lots to be said about enjoying the game with other players. There are a lot of nice people on the acnh sub-reddit who are willing to help others with their game play ... and with whom you could become good friends and share island play.

2023.03.30 20:03 ResidentSmartass [TOMT][BOOK] Obscure Halloween-Themed Children's Book
For the longest time I've been searching for this obscure Halloween book that I checked out of the elementary school library a few times back in kindergarten. Admittedly I don't remember much from it, but I distinctly remember there being a two-page spread illustration in the book with a bunch of people wearing costumes. The costume I remember the most vividly was a red devil, but I think there was also a ghost and a fuzzy purple monster with big yellow eyes. The book itself was thin, and I believe it had jack-o'-lanterns on the front cover.

2023.03.30 20:02 weed-weeb-throwaway Sanity Check for self/reversal for a newbie
I am currently growing out the last fem seed of a photo strain I like (mango CBD 1:1) and I want more. I don't have the space to keep clones over the winter as I only have a 2x2 tent, so I want to reverse this plant to make some more fem seeds. The tent isn't used while I grow outdoors in the summer so...
My plan is:
- Take two clones of the plant during veg
- Root them with a DIY bubble cloneroot powder
- Raise these two clones in the tent together
- After well established (I'm thinking 3-4 weeks?) flip to flower
- STS (from amazon) one of the plants to turn it male
- Cull the 'male' once it pops and has fertilized the female & I've collected pollen
- Let the female finish out until it's more or less dead
- Harvest seeds, chuck everything else from the female
I'm hoping this allows me to still harvest a plant at the end of the season without having to worry about sprays etc out in my greenhouse. Would that be proper procedure, or would you do it differently? Cheers in advance for any help/feedback!

2023.03.30 19:56 DesertThorn6 Swimming packers
Anyone know of any cheap/diy waterproof packers I could wear swimming? Right now all I have are a couple homemade packers that have thick fabric and/or foam in them, and a cheap stp that never stays in place and always looks hard. I want to be able to pack while swimming at the pool or beach but I don’t want my dick floating away or smelling gross afterwards

2023.03.30 19:56 Mindless_Requirement Form an LLC: lawyer, agency, or DIY?
I am interested in a single member LLC for asset protection (car, house). It’s my first time creating one, and I am not familiar with business law.
Lawyers will cost upwards of $1k. Business formation agencies that do it for you (legalzoom, zenbusiness, incfile) charge up to a few hundred. But I can also do it myself and just pay the filing fee for my state, which is obviously the cheapest way
Is filing an LLC something you’d want to consult a lawyer for? I don’t mind shelling out for a one time cost so that I never have to worry about it again, and get it done right the first time. But if it’s something that is easy to do and hard to mess up, I would prefer to just DIY to save money
Because I have no background in business law, I have no idea what I don’t know, and I frankly wouldn’t even know if I am missing something or did something wrong. And the worst case would be to find out, years later, in the middle of a lawsuit, that the paperwork was done incorrectly and did not work as intended. For this reason I’m leaning towards just paying a lawyer once for peace of mind.
But I wanted to know what you think: is getting an LLC easy to DIY and not really something you need professional advice for? I’m in CA, for info.

Not that I will buy any. But I was lagging behind in the strike salute milestone will not make it to the orb to get the kestrel costume.
To my surprise, they gave out 50 free ultra core .. and basically let me get an extra orb (and $2M gold), finish the achievement, and get the costume.
So I am happy. This is perfect timing. Basically giving everyone a free $5 offer .. and let you pick what you want. So credit where credit is due. Thank you!

2023.03.30 19:49 plsmasli Suzume no Tojimari: The Hidden Treasure of Japanese Cinema
As avid movie-goers and cinema enthusiasts, we cannot help but be fascinated by the rich and diverse history of Japanese cinema. With its unique style, innovative techniques, and profound storytelling, Japanese films have captured the hearts and minds of audiences all over the world. In this article, we will explore one of the hidden gems of Japanese cinema, Suzume no Tojimari, and why it deserves more recognition and acclaim.
The History of
Suzume no Tojimari Suzume no Tojimari, also known as The Closing of Suzume, is a 1962 film directed by Satsuo Yamamoto. The movie is based on a novel by Shugoro Yamamoto, one of the most celebrated Japanese writers of the 20th century. The story takes place in the Edo period and revolves around a group of impoverished samurai who plot to rob a wealthy merchant in order to save their clan from ruin.
Despite its critical acclaim and success in Japan, Suzume no Tojimari remains relatively unknown to international audiences. This is partly due to the fact that it has never been officially released outside of Japan and is not widely available on home video or streaming services.
Why Suzume no Tojimari Deserves More Recognition
Suzume no Tojimari is a masterful example of Japanese cinema at its best. It combines a thrilling plot, complex characters, and stunning visuals to create a cinematic experience that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.
One of the most impressive aspects of the movie is its depiction of the Edo period. The filmmakers went to great lengths to recreate the look and feel of this historical era, from the authentic costumes and sets to the use of period-specific language and customs. This attention to detail helps to immerse the audience in the story and adds to the overall authenticity and realism of the film.
Another standout feature of Suzume no Tojimari is its cast of characters. Each member of the samurai group has their own unique personality, motivations, and backstory, which makes them more than just one-dimensional stereotypes. This depth of characterization allows the audience to become emotionally invested in the fate of the characters and adds a layer of complexity to the story.
Finally, the film's message about honor, loyalty, and sacrifice is both timeless and universal. Although the story takes place in a specific historical context, its themes are relevant to people from all walks of life and cultures. By exploring these fundamental human values, Suzume no Tojimari transcends its genre and becomes a powerful work of art.
How to Promote Suzume no Tojimari on the Web
Despite its many virtues, Suzume no Tojimari has been largely overlooked by the international film community. However, with the power of the internet and the right marketing strategy, we can help to bring this masterpiece to a wider audience.
One of the most effective ways to promote Suzume no Tojimari online is through search engine optimization (SEO). By creating high-quality content that includes relevant keywords and links to the film, we can increase its visibility and rank higher in search engine results. For example, by writing articles like this one and using targeted keywords such as "Suzume no Tojimari movie" or "Satsuo Yamamoto film," we can attract more traffic to our website and raise awareness of the movie.
Another strategy is to leverage social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to share information and reviews about the film. By using hashtags like #SuzumenoTojimari or #JapaneseCinema, we can reach a wider audience and generate more buzz about the movie.

Ace: Tapu Koko (Both Tapu Koko and Chitabda are known to be Curious)
Lucanroc-Dusk (Due to Chitandas incredible sense of Smell and Hearing)
Malamr (because just like Malmar when people look into Chitanda’s eyes they are unable to say no to her)
Noctowl (both Chitanda and Noctowl have great night vision)
Gardevoir (pretty much only because I think that someone of Chitandas Status would have an elegant Pokemon like Gardevoir)
Wooloo (cause farming)
Fukube Satoshi
Ace: Orbeetle (since Blipbug is described as a constant collector of information in the Pokemon Shield Pokédex. It’s only fitting to give the Database its final evolution)
Gengar (Like Gengar Satoshi enjoys making jokes, and almost always has a smile on his face)
Mimikyu (mostly due to the envy he feels for Houtarou. And just like Mimikyu Satoshis true face is always hidden behind a mask)
Celesteela (since Satoshi once had a costume of a celestial body, I thought it was fitting to give him the Pokemon based on a space ship)
Metagross (Metagross is a supercomputer and is very obviously good at storing data)
Sunflora (based on his costume that he wore in one of the earlier episodes)
Ibara Mayaka
Ace: Smeargle (because drawing)
Venasaur (Mayaka loves manga, so I felt it was natural to give her reds starter Pokemon from the Pokemon manga)
Jigglypuff (Mostly because in the second opening Mayaka along with Satoshi decide to draw on Houtarous face)
Ditto (the ultimate Cosplayer)
Grafaiai (also because Drawing)
Enamorus (Enamorus is known as the love-hate Pokemon, and since one of the first few things we learn about Mayaka is that she doesn’t get along with Houtarou, and that she loves Satishi)

2023.03.30 19:41 Leeeisme My First Ever Successful Oyster Grow
| Hey everyone. I'm another newbie mycologist starting out and I would like to share with you all my experience / story of my first successful grow, it was quite the ride. Here goes. I have tried to grow pink oyster mushrooms from 2 different kits prior to this, and each time failed due to contamination. It motivated me further. Spent countless hours watching videos, and reading to try and learn more about this hobby and what the hell I was doing so wrong. Got a blue oyster kit last Christmas as a gift. Follow the instructions that come with the kit to a T, and I find contamination again. Not only that, but a new problem I have never seen yet. An infestation of mushroom flies. My goodness do they reproduce like crazy. Now instead of just tossing the whole bag I decide I'm going to try to save some of it if I can. Pressure sterilized some jars and transfered some of the grain farthest away from the contamination. Left the rest of the grain in an old food container and plastic wrapped the shit out of it to kill the remaining flies/larva and as an experiment to see if the blue oyster mycelium could out compete the mold. Came back a while later and it actually wiped out the mold, no contam anymore. No flies either. So I pressure sterilized some popcorn and did a grain to grain transfer in my still air box. Now at this point, my first jars are ready to be put to spawn. Decided to try out toilet paper rolls and making my own grow bags. Freezer bags, polyfil and a juice bottle to cut the hole for polyfil. Boil water, dunk the rolls for 1-5 seconds and let sit to cool down for a half hour or so. Put a roll in each bag, break and shake grain jars, fill the center of the toilet paper roll up with fully colonized grain and sprinkle a little on the top toilet paper itself. Close bags and let colonize until initial pinning. The pictures should show the story quite well. I do have this little blurb from the 18th day however: Day 18. So have done quite a bit of adjusting since last update. Was having issues with long tall fruits due to not enough fresh air exchange. To correct this, I have opened the bags wide open as soon as I saw a new pinset starting. Also ran into issues with too high of temperature not inducing pinning. Blue oysters specifically prefer a colder temperature (16-18°C or even lower lol) which is abnormal to say the least. To correct this issue, I moved all the bags into my coldest room in the house. I have been misting the walls of the bags 3x a day and a very very gentle misting on the fruits themselves 2x a day with my flairosol mister. TL;DR : First successful blue oyster grow, salvaged a kit from contamination, and mushrooms flies. DIY grow bags, and fruited from toilet paper. submitted by Leeeisme to mycology [link] [comments] |

Entertain The Masses!
(PokeStar Studios Event!)
Inspiration Makes Ideas
It opens up with Iris, Lisia, and Dawn all having a battle based around showmanship and excitement- a contest battle.
Dawn’s Pokemon faints, and so Lisia and Iris are left. Lisia and Iris fight a short while longer, before their battle ends in a tie.
Iris, Lisia, and Dawn thank everyone for watching, and in the crowd, it shows Nate and Rosa watching, with Brycen nearby.
Nate talks about how it’d be fun to have a fake battle, like a stage play similar to PokeStar studios, and Rosa asks if he was ever in one of those movies. He says he was, and that’s when Brycen walks over, causing Rosa to say she’s a huge fan of his works.
Brycen suggests they actually try to put on one of those stage plays to recreate a movie they made back in the day, and Nate agrees to do it. Rosa gets all excited to see the two of them act together on stage. Nate suggests Rosa helps out too, and she excitedly agrees.
Audition
The scene opens up with Nate and Rosa battling together, when Valerie walks over. Valerie asks what they’re doing, and when they tell her, she asks if they’d like costumes. They agree, and Brycen walks over, asking if she can make him one as well.
Valerie says she can, and she leaves to work on their costumes.
Nate and Rosa get ready to continue battling, when Brycen says Rosa’s too focused on the battling aspect than the acting aspect of the scene, and says he’ll give her some pointers.

2023.03.30 19:25 IrvingsGhost [M4F] A nostalgic 90s Halloween themed plot? Looking for a partner!
Halloween town is airing for its first time and hocus pocus is essential. Neighborhood kids ride bikes to each other’s houses while teenagers meet at misty Autumn lakes for impromptu campfires filled with urban legends of hook-handed psychos. Halloween held a power over that era, and I want to recapture it in this roleplay!
Here is where I have two separate but equally ideas, this could simply be a boy meets girl slice of life story, or we could take it in a supernatural direction!
If we keep it just a romantic story, then obviously our characters would get to know eachother, go in cute fall dates to the pumpkin patch, haunted houses, costume shops, etc..
If we take it into a supernatural direction, I’d like to add a whimsical horror element to the mix! Maybe the spirit of Halloween is angry and begins to bring Halloween entities to life and our characters are the unlikely heroes? Could be fun!
I am usually working during the day but I will try and get responses out on my town time which is pretty often!
If you’re interested in this, please be willing to discuss with me! If you’re expecting me to have everything meticulously planned out and ready, I will disappoint you! But if your down to brainstorm and make this something we both care about, I can’t wait to chat!
