Ive never had this problem until today.
When i am on 60hz. the screen looks perfect but when i switch to 144hz. it seems like the resolution decreases and the text on screen looks a bit blurred aswell as colors don't look normal. i haven't had this problem until today. Also on 120hz and 100hz i have this problem. but it looks the worse on 144hz.
again 60hz has no issues. any idea of how to fix?

Background: Adiposity is connected to vitamin D3 (Vit. D3) deficiency and hyperthyroidism. Type 2 diabetes (T2D) is associated with Vit. D3 deficiency. Our study aims to assess the inter-relationship among Vit. D3 deficiency and secondary hyperparathyroidism in obese diabetic and non-diabetic patients.

D3, serum parathyroid hormone (PTH), calcium, leptin, fasting blood sugar (FBS), serum insulin, insulin resistance (HOMA-IR), hemoglobin A1C (HbA1c), and body mass index (BMI) were measured.
Results: The levels of Vit. D3 deficiency were 100% in obese diabetics and non-diabetic patients 17.43 ±3.94 and 13.95 ±4.60, respectively. Theassociation was inversely related to BMI in the obese diabetic patients (r=-0.36, P=0.01) and non-diabetic (r=-0.18, P=0.23). While the correlation was positive as well as significant (r=0.49, P<0.001) between PTH levels with BMI in obese diabetic subjects with a mean of 44.10 ±14.01, 13.3%have elevated PTH levels, the correlation was positive and no significant with BMI (r=0.06, P<0.6) through obese non-diabetics the mean was 57.19 ±17.71, and 35.5% of them had a high level of PTH. Our results showed a very weak and no significant negative correlation between Vit. D3 and PTH in each of the obese diabetics and obese non-diabetic groups (r=-0.12, P=0.4) and (r=-0.24, P=0.1), respectively. Serum concentration of leptin has significantly associated with body mass index(r=0.94, P<0.001) in obese diabetic through (r=0.3, P=0.04) in control. The most surprising finding is the very strong association between HOMA-IRwith BMI in non-diabetics (r=0.87, P <0.001).
Conclusion: Adiposity is a risk factor for T2D related to Vit. D3 deficiency and high level of PTH. The correlation between Vit. D3 deficiency and PTH is inverse and insignificant.

Hi All,
Bought a 16k mile RS5 and the previous owner did not have any PPF installed. From my inspection, these are the largest rock chips on the car that I'm concerned about. The detail shop told me that applying PPF over these might show some bubbling since the paint is uneven. They can do some touch up but since my paint color has metal flake in it the touch up might make look worse.
Has anyone done paint touch up for Daytona Gray Pearl paint color? How'd that end up looking?
I'm trying to decide if I should let the detail shop touch up the chips using factory color paint from the Audi dealership. OR to look for a body shop and get a repaint repair (not sure what the cost of this might be).

Why do we humans find crime, conflict and the suffering of others (human/animal) entertainment?

Someone made a post about how their admin did not inform them of a shooter drill and there were a lot of people saying that kids who "ran away" or "jumped out of the window" were "smart." When this is exactly the opposite of smart and will expose everyone in a classroom.
I typed this in another thread, but thought it would be useful as a post. Other teachers might also have received training and can chime in with information I have forgotten or give specific scenarios.
This is what I posted:
A lot depends on the layout of each classroom. Some have two doors, windows, etc - the training I did was 5 hours long, in-person, and went over multiple scenarios with maps and whatnot. I will try to give a general summary of what I've learned:
Pre-shooting/prep:
- Cover all windows with blackout curtains or posters and make it impossible, or at least difficult, to see inside. Even moving shadows are bad and will make your class the first target.
- If possible, have an empty cabinet to hide in. If there's a back room, make sure that's as empty as possible and that you can stealth the door so it does not immediately look like a door.
- Place your heaviest desk (usually the teacher's desk) near the door, such that it can easily and quickly be pushed in front of the door.
- Give all adults in the building access to the speakers/announcement system; when there is a shooter, admins and office workers with that access are usually the first to go.
- Keep door locked from the outside at all times. Make it a habit. Stop using the first-aid kit or other heavy objects as a door stopper. Any door stopper that wedges itself in is terrible, since every second counts and you will struggle to get it out under pressure/fear.
- Talk to the kids about the plan, and explain why, if there is an emergency, they need to work together, instead of trying to run away alone. Plan where each person will be in the room. Preface that this is a hard and possibly triggering conversation.
On the case of a shooter:
- Block the door with everything you and your students can carry. The heavy desk first, then other desks.
- Shooters usually shoot from the door at arms height at a 50 degree angle (google that for better visuals). They avoid going inside and instead try to get into as many classrooms as possible. The best place to crouch down is in the adjacent corners of the room in relation to the door. Preferably, opposite the field of vision when the door is partially open. If the barricade worked, they won't be able to see all the way in. You will have to test this out in your class layout, especially since many doors open to the outside and give an ample field of vision the opposite of what I just said. The worst classrooms are the ones with 2 doors on the same wall on opposite sides, in which case, the best place to crouch is in the middle between the 2 doors.
- Lock kids and yourself in the closets or backroom if possible. Like on an airplane, protect the adult, so if you survive, you might be able to save the injured. Don't bunch yourselves all in one location in the classroom.
- As admin is the first to go, if you are the first adult to notice, try to get the code to all staff as quickly as possible, then call the police. If you get the message, and your class is far from the entrance, call the police while you barricade.
- If your class is near the entrance, barricade and then be as quiet as possible.
- Don't pull the fire alarm! That will trigger people to attempt to leave the building, expose all classrooms with kids, delay barricading, and get significantly more people killed. Ideally, schools need to develop an alarm or code just for school shooters and violent events.
Unfortunately, a lot of what kept us safe from fires in the past, and which a lot of our schools were designed around, makes us substantially more vulnerable to active shooters.

I have a pretty bad ranking of the series. Not going to share as that’s not what I am discussing in this post. My top 2 are Omniverse and UA in an order I can’t fully decide. One of the thing I don’t understand is why people have to deviate from these groups so much. I’m personally someone who actually grew up with Omniverse so it has that nostalgia for me. Ultimate Alien is one of the most solid shows and it’s hard to argue against it. Ultimate Alien is really just taking a lot of the good attributes of AF and inserting it into a different show. I have to say Ultimate Alien has the best plotlines throughout the entire show. Aggregor is a villain who is excellent at giving Ben consequences for his actions. Ultimate Kevin shows the side of Ben that’s not completely in the right. The Dagon Arc develops many old plot threads to unify them as one. Ben’s choice with Ascalon is my favorite moment in the franchise. When Ben got control of Alien X, I had friends who said now it’s a power trip, and Ben has infinite power. His choice with Ascalon defines his character through the franchise excellently despite all the misrepresentation of Ben since AF S3. UA is an amazing series. Then you have Omniverse. Omniverse was a total shift in everything from UA. Plotlines still amazing to me with Malware and the Time War of course. Alien X was able to live up to the hype it should have in AF. Ben is at his peak. The animation is quite unique and contrasts UAFs. The fights are more hyped up like OG. As cool as Ultimate Kevin vs Ultimate Echo Echo was the fighting was underwhelming. Omniverse is a show that is very well rounded to do the best it can. Feedback is a top 10 for me, however I do wish Way Big could have taken a big W.
Tldr; UA and Omniverse are both fantastic and the arguing and “only one can remain” type mindset need to end.

I’ve slept with my glasses on my entire life. I’m 25 and I got glasses at 5 years old. I have this problem called visual snow I’m not sure if it’s well known but my eyes see it all the time and at night it’s worse. Imagine TV static, that’s what I see 24/7. When my glasses are off, my extremely blurry visual mixed with visual snow and a hyperactive imagination create fake scary faces or figures everywhere. It started when I was a kid and even as an adult I can’t shake the habit. I also sleep with a shit ton of lights on for this reason. I can honestly say that I haven’t ever broken glasses due to sleep in my life. I’m not a crazy sleeper and I often wake up in the same position I fell asleep in so I know that plays a part.
I wish I could break out of this but I mean it’s been 20 years now I don’t think I can.
