The Khornumverate (3 Khorne LoW Demon Engines) returns from BAO with their Primarch

2023.05.29 17:15 Dewgong444 The Khornumverate (3 Khorne LoW Demon Engines) returns from BAO with their Primarch

As we near the end of 9th edition, which will certainly go down as one of the editions of all time, I figured it'd be best to go out with a bang. To roll out the big guns. To really bring the biggest (and therefore best) models I have to the table. So I made a Word Bearers list with all 3 Khorne LoW Demon Engines, and showed it to my team. One of whom asked me if Angron would fit if it were World Eaters. I was obliged to answer yes, as there is technically a legal list there. So I made it. I told my teammate it might be the most ridiculous list I ever made. The team then strong-armed (slightly suggested) me into taking it to BAO. So let's actually see what we got going on here.
World Eaters Arks of Omen Detachment:
That there ladies and gentlemen, is 1 giant amount of 2k points. 4 LoWs, 84W at T8 5++, generating 16 total BTP possible. It is .... legally a list. So that's what we took to BAO. This amalgam of trying to get the least amount of drops possible I suppose. But we're not here to critique lists, we're here to talk about how BAO went. Once again my memory is a mess after a major and I forgot to take pictures to remind myself of how the games went so I apologize in advance for any mistakes and the TL;DR format.
Regarding deployment/reserves, every game had everyone on the board except the berzerkers which went into strategic reserves.
Round 1: Mission - 12 Tear Down Their Icons
Opponent: Dark Eldar w/10-man Court, Djin Blade Archon, Drazhar, 6 MSU kabalites kitted, 13 incubi in 3 units, 5 mandrakes, 2x3 Reavers, 3 raiders, 3 venoms, 2x5 wracks, Precision Blows Succubus
TL;DR: I went first and did some nice plink shooting, while return fire left Angron on 3. We popped some transports on 2, and in return Angron went down while the LoS got dropped to 1. Berzerkers take Drazhar out, most incubi go down to shooting, and the LoS is able to take out the succubus. Some back and forth trading ends with me edging my opponent out on primary, with both of us on fumes at the end.
Result: 81-55 Win for the WE
Round 2: Mission - 22 Conversion
Opponent: World Eaters w/ Invocatus WL, 2x Demon Princes, 10 jackals, 3x5 zerkers w/ Icon + Evi, 3x5 Eightbound, 2x3 Exalted Eightbound, 1x3 + 2x1 spawn, Rhino
TL;DR: I went first but most of my opponent stuff was in reserve or behind a wall, so I was able to pop a rhino and set myself up with the scorpion and LoS protecting Angron while the Kytan runs around my right. He does HI into the scorpion with 5 eightbound and loses 3 to do about half to it. The scorpion will barely hold out next turn when a demon prince joins the party. My LoS helps to hold down the middle while Angron waits to get involved and the Kytan holds run down my right to contest a mid objective. His reserves come in and do work, ripping my off my home and left objective. I will never regain my home objective, but Angron will hold down that left objective against 5 eightbound and 3 exalted eightbound. The LoS will hold down the center while the berzerkers and kytan will eventually make it to his backfield. An unfortunately low score on Bring It Down and Banners will bring my opponent down just below my own score.
Result: 85 -77 Win for the Primarch
Round 3: Mission - 23 Scouring
Opponent: Iron Hands (base) w/ Feirros, Primaris Libby, 3x10 Heavy Intercessors w/ Executors, 5 infiltrators, Character Contemptor w/volkite, Primaris Apothecary, 4 servitors, 6 TH/SS Termies, 6+5 Eradicators w/ Heavy Melta
TL;DR: Turns out a lot of D2 with rerolls hurts. Like a lot. I was just far enough back to not get eradicator'd T1, and some unfortunately aggressive infiltrators provide Angron and his 'No Fall Backsies' a route into 5 eradicators. Angron will be there, killing gravis marines, for THREE ROUNDS as more meat gets sent into the grinder with a 5++, 5+++. Meanwhile my scorpion gets blanked on T2 and my Kytan also falls that turn. A failed berzerker charge into the other eradicators puts me on the back foot, but my salvation arrives when his terminators fail their 4" counter-charge the next turn. The LoS get dropped low, but is able to stick around just long enough to be a massive annoyance. My berzerkers will help tip primary by living the rest of the game on my opponent's right objective. And once again winning primary tips the score in my favor.
Result: 96-68 victory for Angery Ron
Round 4: Mission - 31 Tide of Conviction
Opponent: Word Bearers w/ Ghollax Prince, Master of Possession, Dark Apostle, 2x8 Accursed Cultists, 1x10 melee cultists, Master of Executions, 2x10 Plague Marines w/ everything, 10 Possessed w/ Black Rune, 5 Possessed, 2x1 Venomcrawler, 2 Worthy Offering Brigands
TL;DR: My opponent went first and was able to position well, but only got 5 damage on the LoS with the brigands as they rolled 3 1s on the melta guns round 1. This will be a game-long theme, as none of my LoWs will take melta wounds at any point (except 2 bubonic axes on the scorpion in 4). I get forward to set up early, but the kytan gets ripped apart by 7 possessed with full wound rerolls. Angron and the scorpion will get into them, taking them down to 3 but also removing some accursed cultists while the LoS does its best to drive down the middle. Some berzerkers hold down my right long enough to fend off my opponent. He's able to get his reserved accursed cultists back into my home objective on 4 while the Scorpion eventually fell to plague marines and a Master of Execution doing 12 damage to it and I legitimately though I'd lost the game (sorry my opponent). However, a resurrected Angron made his charge and was able to swap it back to me. Angron was able to hold down my territory on 4 and 5 while the Lord of Skulls and lone spawn take 2 different objectives from my opponent, resulting in a primary score different of 18-4 in Round 5, a 14-point swing entirely dependent on who went 2nd (which is why I do not like this mission). That swing helps propel Angron to a win.
Result: 76-61 victory for best Traitors
(INTERMISSION) I'm in third place after 4 rounds which is quite fun. If you'd like to get off Angron's Wild Ride now and sleep contentedly in my definitely-3rd-place-finish, no one will begrudge you. Live in that dream world.
Round 5: Mission - 32 Death and Zeal
Opponent: Whirlwind Space Wolves w/ Guilliman, Primaris Chappy, 3x10 Wulfen, 2x1 Cyberwolves, 16 total skyclaws w/ the fixings, 10 Desolators I bitched too much about sorry Round 5 opponent
TL;DR: Wulfen hurt real bad and GW's baffling design space where anti-LoS AND double shooting should be nerfed to hell except for 1 datasheet which does both well lead to my demise. In all seriousness, I did get a little overly frisky with the wulfen who promptly ripped Angron limb from limb, and I did get out-maneuvered early on which led to me taking increasingly larger and larger risks as the game got progressively further away from me and my opponent played his role extremely well. Angron and the Kytan went down in 1, Scorpion in 2, LoS in 4, and my opponent lost everything but 9 wulfen and a cyberwolf, but all I had was Angron and 1 berzerker. He was able to just stretch me out and out-primary me by a lot (45-11) leading to my first loss.
Result: 53 - 84 loss to worst Primarch who avenges Nuceria
Round 6: Mission - 33 Secure Missing Artifacts
Opponent: Tau Sept w/ Longstrike, Coldstar, Ethereal, 10 breachers, 10 karnivores, 10 man Strike team, 2x4 Kroot Hounds, Kroot Shaper, Ghostkeel, Riptide, 10man Pathfinder, Piranha, 5 vespid, Sun Shark Bomber, Devilfish, Tidewall Gunrig
TL;DR: The Longstrike goes 'LMAO'. I did get first which was nice, but there was nothing to do other than position well. My opponent was great, played pretty much perfectly (except 1 tiny mistake which didn't end up mattering), and spiked some insane rolls on Longstrike which at that point were more humorous than annoying as the game was well out of hand by then. I'd been dodging the matchup all event, and it was time that fate finally caught up with me. If people want me to give more details on how this went turn-by-turn I can, but I think we all know how this'll turn out.
Result: 45 - 97 predictable (yet fun) result
That's it, I've once again 4-2 in a major for the 4th time IN A ROW (2022 LVO, BAO, SoCal, 2023 BAO), which is nice to get 4 wins but annoying I seemingly can't break through the meta ceiling. I did end up in 18th which is nice (and I was in 3rd at the end of Round 4), but I won't lie, a small part of me really wanted to go 5-1 to mess with Goonhammer's heads when they do their meta review.

2023.05.29 16:49 cowboys70 Have irons really changed in the last 10 or so years?

Snapped the head off my 5 iron a few weeks back and now I'm faced with the dilemma of reshafting or taking this as an excuse to upgrade.

I'm currently swinging a set of Taylormade R Bladez with a regular flex which were given to me by someone who was upgrading. I guess these are 10+ years old at this point. Until my recent spat of terrible play I was a high 90s golfer that would occasionally sniff the low 90s.

If I had to guess, I'd probably say that I should be hitting more of a stiff shaft. At least that is what was recommended to me during my driver fitting I did last year. I just have no damn idea what would be considered an upgrade at this point. If you look online and read reviews it seems like just about any set of irons made in the last 10 years has something to recommend it by. My local used golf shop had one set of Mavricks ($450) that were missing the 5 iron and a set of 11 year old AP-1s for like 350. Everything else was beat to absolute shit and I am really confused how an 11 year old set of clubs is only 100 dollars less than a set that is barely a year old.

I'm planning on stopping by a larger sort of golf superstore to see what they have in stock as far as used clubs go that I can swing around to try to get a feel for something I might like.

2023.05.29 16:43 Glittering_Farm6542 A Fever You Can't Sweat Out (Review) - As a new fan

So I was a fan of Panic! At the Disco but I only really listened the big hits like “High Hopes” and a week ago I wanted to go through their whole discography so I asked the subreddit which album to start with. And there are a lot of different answers but I chose “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out” to start out because I just relistened to “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” and I might as well listen to the album it came from. So without further ado, here’s my review of “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out”.
Introduction - It’s just an introduction that builds up to the next song. NEXT!
The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage - Now before I begin my review of this song, I really have to wonder why they thought it was a good Idea to put long names as their songs because sometimes it’s very annoying to type them. Anyways, this song is a banger. It’s really catchy, the production is really great, the electronics at the bridge making me dance and feel hyped af. The theme of criticizing artists who make music that seems to be controversial only to gain fame is an interesting topic that I’ve heard a dozen times and I think it was tackled in a good way. Overall, probably the most replayed song for me on this album from it’s short runtime and its catchiness.
London Beckoned Songs About Money Written By Machines - I think it’s a great follow-up to the last track. The vocal notes have been hitting so far, the production is really great, and the chorus is catchy. Although a song about the “Critics” is a bit cliché at this point since I’ve heard that same theme a thousand times now, It does give the POV from bands that are starting to get into the scene or spotlight and I really think it’s a unique take from this song. Really great song, hopefully nothing can ruin my day.
Nails For Breakfast, Tacks For Snacks - Holy sh*t who thought that this was a good idea to slather what could’ve been a good track with a bunch of auto tune. It was starting really good with that instrumental until I heard Brendon’s singing with that auto tune. There are also some notes that he hits wrong so it makes it worse. With me bashing the song, I do have to appreciate the theme of battling alcoholism, as it is personal to Ross. Overall, it had potential but was executed poorly.
Camisado - This song is deep. It gives an unforgiving view on Ross' father’s inability to deal with his problems. I really found that saddening but it also helps to add another dimension to this track. The use of electronics was great and the lyrics are hard hitting now that I know the theme. The only problem I had at the time was Brendon’s voice but it eventually grew on me. Personally, I think this song tried to mimic what the last track did but this was executed better.
Time To Dance - Two words: SHOTGUN WEDDING! The production really shines with those electronics and this song shows off Brendon’s unique vocal range. Now I do want to explain the theme and the lyrics but I’ve never heard of the novel they based this song around with and it would probably just be me stating out the stuff that’s talking about In the song so to summarize this in one sentence, I like this song.
Lying Is the Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off - Ok the names are getting ridiculous. I do like the silent build-up in the verses so it could release all that energy into the chorus. I thought the production was great as it adds to the tension and Brendon’s singing was a bit faulty at some points, but it grew on me. I do like the fact that this song title leads up to the next song and it’s a reference from the movie: “Closer”. Overall, really great song.
Intermission - That synth is both catchy and annoying at the same time. I do like the piano section and the fact the that this divides the album from one side: Electronic pop-punk and the other: Baroque pop/rock. Kinda useless but I appreciate it.
But It’s Better If You Do - You know on first listens, Brendon’s voice had problems on some songs but there are songs that I really enjoyed on the first listen and this is one of them. The theme is a person is at a strip club wishing that he didn’t have to be there because of loneliness and that’s an interesting theme. I really love the production on here as it compliments well with Brendon’s voice and the lyrics. At the end of the song it transitions into “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” so that’s extra points. Really love this song.
I Write Sins Not Tragedies - I mean c’mon now, we all know this is a classic.
I Constantly Thank God For Esteban - I was kinda disappointed since I’ve been on a winning streak on this album and this song breaks it. This song just feels too pretentious with the lyrics and the chorus doesn’t blend with the production. The bridge also stops any momentum that was built previously on the track and Brendon’s delivery was a bit shaky. The only things I can complement on this song is the last chorus where the rock sound actually blends with the chorus, the production is decent, and the whole theme of the song about hypocrites being an interesting topic. Not even gonna lie, this might be even worse than “Nails For Breakfast, Tacks For Snacks” because at least that song had potential to be a great song and it did have its catchy segments. Overall, the worst track on this album.
There’s A Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven’t Thought Of It Yet - Note that this song title is so long that I just copy-pasted this because I am not typing all of that. When I first heard the song, I thought it was an unlikable song but after relistening to it, I do see the premise they were taking for but the song didn’t really hook me in that much. I do like the theatrical production combined with the storytelling, the song does give me a few chuckles on the lyrics and Brendon’s delivery is on fire here. However, that hook is such a mess that’s what I’ll say. Overall, it’s not one of my favorites but I don’t exactly hate it and I do appreciate what they were going for on this song.
Build God, Then We’ll Talk - This is probably the one song that I think deserves more praise. From the first time I heard it, I thought the verses were kinda off-key and didn’t have a melody but over time they did grow on me. I thought the production was nice, the chorus was great, and this song has the best lyrics (Imo) mocking the idea of prostitution. I also want to mention the cello section, which was beautiful. Overall, great closer to the album
Now what do I think about this album?
I personally think that this album was generally a great experience to start out with Panic! At the Disco. I really liked the theme of dividing the album with different sub-genres of pop punk with the electronics and the classical instruments. It also gave me some new favorite songs like “The Only Difference…”. The album does have some cons like most songs have a formulaic switch-up on the bridge section of the songs, and there are times that they are a bit too pretentious but overall, I really enjoyed this album.
I would like to hear your thoughts about this review. Did you like it? How did you feel about this review? Do you wanna share your thoughts about this album? You can share those thoughts in the comments to your heart's content. You can also tell me which album do I go next.

The Grint and GHIN
Rookie question probably, but I just got a GHIN# and connected it to my Grint app and The Grint uploaded my scores to the website but why are they uploaded different than the actual scores on the app itself? Just these 3 posts alone and it’s off by 33 strokes and I don’t want to seem like a liar. TIA

2023.05.29 16:16 Atari800kid He was just supposed to be a "FWB", a casual hookup, when convenient for both parties, right?

TLDR; stuff
He works the graveyard shift, I don't work at all, so when he asked to come here tonight, asking to be hugged to be held, that something was wrong, I, of course, Said yes, come.
I was already pretty blasted when he got here at 4am, after work.
He was too. He works in a bar..
Is that the default mode now for a true connection/ conversation?
Compromised?
Out it comes.
He is 27, stomach cancer, stage 3.
I don't process that information at all.
We go to bed, sleep.
I'm still awake, I had to do business calls to America.
We are cuddling.
He is my "little spoon."
I admire his body, tucked up against mine.
The warmth.
His breath on my arm that is resting on his chest.
That breath, feeling it on my arm, to me? Better than the best blowjob.
He stripped down to underwear to sleep.
The rise. The fall of his chest and shoulders, up and down, in and out. I make mental notes. To remember, this, this moment, forever.
His smell Omg.. The moment I landed in Bangkok and got in a taxi., that smell to me meant i was home again.
My nose is between his shoulder blades.
Intoxicating.
The addition of my wet kisses and licks adds my fragrance to the mix.
I'm loveproof. Really, I am. IDGAF is my religion.
Despite that, due to pheromones, or whatever, I'm falling in love. Right here, right now. It's an unstoppable chemical conflict.
The alcohol is wearing off as I hold him as he sleeps.
I'm aware again.
I'm alert.
He told me he has stage 3 stomach cancer, at 27 years old.
Hits me like nothing ever has.
I'm falling in love with someone terminal.
I get out of bed. It's like 10am, he'll sleep until 2pm at least.
I'm a wreck. Sobbing, stifled in a pillow.
I have to get my shit together.
I know what he needs.
Strength. Stoicism.
I know this, 100%.
I can't stop water coming from my eyes
If he wakes up right now and sees me like this crying, I already have a lame story of this being the anniversary of my dog's death.
I can't get control.
It's 1230 now. I need to get a grip, for him.
Tears like never before.
In my life.
I can't hide them.
Tik tok.
Finally. I get control.
Dom Daddy is back.
Strength.
I'm here for him.
Whatever he needs. Whoever he needs me to be..
Like Johnson and Johnson, "No more tears"
I'm his rock.
Think Gibraltar.
If you got this far, thank you for your time.

PredictMedix (CSE: PMED) (OTCQB: PMEDF) (FRA:3QP) Enters the Sport Medicine Business with AI Fitness Scanning

PredictMedix (CSE: PMED) (OTCQB: PMEDF) (FRA:3QP) is an emerging provider of rapid health screening and remote patient care solutions globally—the Company’s Safe Entry Stations – powered by a proprietary artificial intelligence (AI).
https://preview.redd.it/b7j45vo1yr2b1.png?width=1961&format=png&auto=webp&s=2f761b2269d2dd00789ffd31960f5155501a4579
The technology uses multispectral cameras to analyze physiological data patterns and predict various health issues, including infectious
diseases such as COVID-19, impairment by drugs or alcohol, fatigue, or various mental illnesses.
Recently, after PMED announced the exceptional –and peerless–AI features to detect impairment, sickness as well as many severe medical conditions the Company has announced the efficacy of its ‘Fitness Scan Vertical.’
Dr. Rahul Kushwah, COO of Predictmedix. “By providing a comprehensive analysis of an athlete’s fitness level, we equip them with the tools to unlock their strengths, address areas for growth, and achieve their performance goals. Our vision is to bring seamless AI tools to the sports industry to maximize performance and ROI.”
Investors could be excused for dismissing this development as financially minor.
Big Mistake.
The Global Health and Fitness Club Market is projected to reach USD 169,696.72 Million by 2030, exhibiting a remarkable compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.67% from 2023 to 2030.
The premise is that teams and sports organizations can monetize their athletes in terms of competitive potential, strengths, and weaknesses. In essence, the better potential the Vertical Scan can unearth, the better use of scarce development funds for all levels of amateur and professional athletes.
How do they do it?
AI. Data.
By analyzing data from multiple athletes, the platform uncovers trends and patterns that assist coaches and trainers in making informed decisions about training methodologies and developmental strategies. (PR MAY 17th)
Dr. Kushwah further highlighted, “The industry recognizes the value and potential our solution holds. By leveraging AI and machine learning, we provide athletes and sports organizations with highly accurate and actionable insights. This empowers them to enhance their capabilities, improve performance, and strive for greater success.”

Using artificial intelligence technology, Predictmedix’s Safe Entry Stations already screen individuals for vital parameters. such as temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation. With the added ability to measure systolic and diastolic blood pressure, Safe Entry Stations now provide even greater accuracy for its healthcare applications as well as workplace and law enforcement screening tools.

These Compelling Facts Bear Repeating:
  1. PMED has several substantive and unique patents, both granted and pending.
  2. The Companies market is virtually limitless, with exceptional long-term growth prospects.
  3. Should have public acceptance when traded on against accidents and fatalities caused by impairment or fatigue.
  4. It provides a quick and viable way to detect illnesses such as COVID-19, potentially before the individual knows.
  5. No filing or storing of personal information.
  6. Insurance, risk, and underwriting companies will embrace. Technology in every car, truck etc.?

The Company’s detection time for identifying impairment or disease is less than 5 seconds. The next competitor that is even remotely close takes 20 minutes.
The Company’s Safe Entry Stations – powered by a proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) – use multispectral cameras to analyze physiological data patterns and predict various health issues, including infectious diseases such as COVID-19, impairment by drugs or alcohol, fatigue, or various mental illnesses. Predictmedix’s proprietary remote patient care platform empowers medical professionals with AI-powered tools to improve patient health outcomes.
Ted Ohashi, the writer of Let’s Toke Business, has done a couple of fascinating pieces on PMED and its potential.
He notes it has the qualities to be a ten-bagger and notes these observations.
  • PMED has a technology proven through clinical trials in hospitals supported by peer-reviewed studies published in relevant journals.
  • A Purchase Order commercializes PMED’s Safe Entry product from a major hospital group in India, with 69,000 hospitals.
  • There is significant commercial potential in PMED technology’s ability to detect impairment from alcohol and cannabis.
  • PMED is a software company with Artificial Intelligence, and machine learning algorithms that provide targeted diagnostic results. The capital cost of the hardware for each unit has a two-month payback. PMED is a capital-light business model.
  • As a result of the capital-light model, the gross margin is expected to be 80% to 90%. This means positive EBITDA and cash flow will be virtually immediate, and profitability should be attained in a relatively short period of time.
Ted notes he owns some shares, as do I.
Bottom Line
Since all of the compelling and potential game-changing techs, an investor has to ask, “What Next?”
I have no clue. I know that the potential is vast, and as soon as PMED refutes all the Henny Penny AI Bullmerde, it should be a big winner.
(Henny-Penny is a chicken that does not use her brain. An acorn falls on her head, and she thinks the sky is falling. She rushes to inform the king and is advised by her friends that the sky cannot fall. She does not listen and makes a fatal mistake by not thinking things through).
PMED is the acorn that proves the AI sky isn’t falling.

2023.05.29 15:31 DilaZirK A work-in-progress DEW Support build, and the cost of such a build. Feedback welcome.

This Support build's most recent outing was in u/Jayiie's 1mil DPS SS Hydra run. However, there is still quite a bit of room for improvement here, and I thought I'd share it in its current form both for feedback purposes and to satisfy my curiosity on its cost.
Build cost info will be shown in estimated real world dollar values, using the approximated conversion rates in the table below. Personal Traits Feel the Weight of Our Presence Each friendly ship on the map debuffs Damage Resistance Rating of Foes within 12km by 0.5 for 10sec, stacking up to 12.5 for 25 Allies. Best used with hangar pets, usually teammates have some. 7mil EC 0.73
Invasive Control Programming When you use certain Control powers on your target, also trigger random Subsystem Disable. May occur once every 30 seconds. 25% chance to KO enemy shields. 40mil EC 4.17
Psychological Warfare +20% Bonus Control Ability Effectiveness Increases the pull strength of Grav Well, but not the pull radius. 50mil EC 5.21
Astrophysicist +10 Exotic Particle Generator, Drain Expertise and Perception. Filler trait, I am open to suggestions here. Free 0.00
Into The Breach Defeating an enemy debuffs nearby enemies' damage resistance rating by 7 per rank of the downed enemy. I am unlikely to land killing blows on this build, but it's there if I happen to. 35mil EC 3.65
Fleet Coordinator +2% Bonus All Damage per Team member (Self included), up to 10% Mandatory in Team TFOs. Free 0.00
Fragment of AI Tech Improves Control Expertise. Improves Energy Weapon Damage based on Control Expertise (maximum 30% at 300 Control Expertise) More for the +50 CtrlX than the damage boost. 35mil EC 3.65

Unconventional Systems Using Control Bridge Officer Abilities reduces the cooldown of all Universal Consoles by 7%. Very important to get multiple uses out of all my console clickies in the course of an ISE/HSE. 50mil EC 5.21
Starship Traits Superior Area Denial Beams: Fire At Will & Cannon: Scatter Volley Debuff Foes And Apply To Pets Extra -30 DRR, stacks with SAD from teammates. 1x Lockbox ship 125.00
Redirecting Arrays While Beam: Fire-at-will Is Active, Receiving Any Damage Grants 0.33 Sec Duration To Fire-at-will (15 Sec Total Duration Maximum) Not as good an extender as ETM, but I am lazy to switch it up depending on whether the DPSer needs all the CF3 to themselves. 1x C-Store ship 30.00
One Impossible Thing at a Time To Self and Team: -5% Recharge Time on Captain Abilities (Max once every 5 sec) Partly helps the team, but mostly helps myself use EPS Power Transfer more often, as this Support build does not have quite enough crit for IAA. 1.5mil EC 0.16
Carrier Wave Shield Hacking When your ship uses a Tractor Beam or Intel Power on an enemy, it knocks an enemy's shields offline for 5 seconds. Parting Gift would also work as filler for DEW support. 1.5mil EC 0.16
Electrified Anomalies Your Boff Anomalies Deal Electrical Damage & Grant Power Boosts Mostly for the power boost to allies, which is already being fulfilled by Greater Than The Sum. Might replace this with Digital Compilation instead. 17k Zen Mudd's Store 170.00

Roughly 1.2k USD for this build. Making this pretty much as expensive as an uber-meta DPS build. Little wonder then that there aren't more Support players around.

2023.05.29 15:30 DilaZirK A work-in-progress DEW Support build, and the cost of such a build.

The final cost estimate represents the amount it would take for a brand new player to copy this build right away as of today. (Disclaimer: Do not do this, it is a terrible use of hard-earned money)

2023.05.29 15:26 zavp2 Best Lithium AA battery

Trying to find any website or video that has a good test for AA batteries. Either rechargeable and or disposable. Every test I've seen seems to use a light or a fan. I don't think these are good tests because some batteries may put out more power and therefore poop out quicker.
I think this is the first time project farm has failed me in reviews on YouTube. Though he did test RPMs of the fans. They were not the same. Therefore you can't just look at runtime.
I was thinking of placing a 47 ohm resistor across battery terminals for different batteries. Then testing the volts every 12 hours or so. I think this may be the simplest way to tell. Anyone have any thoughts or has anyone done this?

2023.05.29 15:25 OhMyYes82 Jackson Haines: The Skating King - Nonfiction, Historical Sports Biography

In the first authoritative biography of Jackson Haines ever written, figure skating historian Ryan Stevens takes a deep dive into the fascinating story of The Father of Figure Skating.
The legend of The Skating King has been one of the most enduring stories in figure skating history.
Jackson Haines left America during the height of the Civil War and toured extensively through Europe. He translated ballet to the ice. He performed for Czars and Emperors. He inspired the formation of many of the world's oldest skating clubs. He changed the world's most exciting winter sport forever and our fascination in him has never waned.
In this meticulously researched biography, figure skating historian Ryan Stevens chronicles Jackson's story from his humble beginnings in New York to his premature death in Finland in 1875 - both on and off the ice. Through extensive study of 19th century archives and unpublished material housed at the K.H. Renlunds Museum and World Figure Skating Museum, Stevens proves that fact can be far more intriguing than fiction.

The Importance of a User-Friendly Platform: The 1ViewTask Experience

In today’s corporate world, using a user-friendly platform has become a necessity. There are so many tools that are available in the marketplace but talking about the best one, 1ViewTask is the one. All tools are based on artificial intelligence and offer multiple amazing features. But there is something special about 1ViewTask that I will disclose in this blog.
I am a professional content writer, working for three years. I usually work on multiple writing projects and the workload is huge most of the time. Earlier, managing tasks was not an easy thing for me, I was always stressed or used to having trouble fulfilling deadlines. Then a few months back I came across a tool, known as 1ViewTask. I used it for personal purposes and the sign-up was free. I was given a free demo by the team of the software.

Read More: The Importance of Coordination in Teamwork: Tips for Effective Task Execution

Then I began working and I understood how to create tasks. Task creation is quite easy and the software offers a lot of add-ins. A user can create a quick task and detailed task. I use quick task creation most of the time and I use detailed tasks when I have to involve my client in the portal too. I get to choose priority, compliance type, activity type, company information, recurrence pattern, and many more options from detailed tasks. I also attach the required documents so that my record is safe within the tool.
Being an admin, I get the feature of adding my client to the portal to help them see the progress of the project. I provide limited guest user access to my client which allows them to peep into my work and they can suggest changes to me wherever required. If huge companies use this tool, I am sure they are going to benefit a lot from it because the features are amazing.
Another feature that I admired about this tool is of maker-checker concept. Whilst I create my tasks, there is an option of assignee and reviewer. As per the concept, the assignee is the person who is supposed to work on the task, so I keep myself as the assignee. The reviewer is the person who is responsible for double-checking and approving the completed task, I usually keep my clients as the reviewer. This feature makes things easier for me and the clients too and it has helped me gain better exposure in working as a content writer.
I get to view my dashboard, which is quite vast as it has three different kinds of views and lots of filter options. Using the dashboard, I am able to view my overall productivity and the working hours that I devoted to completing a task. also, whilst I am completing a task, I turn the time tracker on which enables unlimited screenshots and provides proof of what work has been done throughout the time. As per my knowledge, the finance industry will be flattered if they get to know about this tool.
There are daily tasks on my plate so I assign tasks beforehand, 1ViewTask sends me a notification via email every day reminding me of my tasks for the day and I am able to fulfill my deadlines on time. This software has helped me in organizing my work routine and I have become better with time management too. There are so many features that people can explore, and for that, they must sign up for free. I am sure you will love this tool, the features are quite fascinating.

New to me INT650, initial thoughts and planz
After admiring these since they came, I finally pulled the trigger on a 650 twin! Coming from vintage Hondas and a Ducati ST2, I was in the market for something newer, a get on and go bike in my stable, allowing me to properly care for my old bikes while still having something to ride. And the Enfields appealed to me for their classic styling, DIY ownership experience (screw and locknut valve adjustments hell yeah!!) and perfect mid range performance. My favorite roads are 50-60 MPH back roads. Okay, 35 MPH backroads...... where you theoretically could go a little faster....
Anyway, I recently picked up this used '22 INT650, with just over 3k miles. It's sweeeeeet!! Here's what I love:#1: physical size, ergonomics and styling:ALL of the other bikes in the showroom are huge. Even the modern classic Triumphs seem bigger and not as proportional as the Enfield. I like riding tight back roads, dirt roads, and I love being able to maneuver easily into parking situations. At 6'2" and about 165#, this bike fits me great. Foot pegs could be slightly lower, but they're much better placed than the old CB pegs. Some reviewers complain that the pegs are in the way when they come to a stop and put their foot down, and I frankly have no idea wtf they're talking about. Seemed fine to me??And the weight sounds high on paper, but it feels lighter than my classic Honda CB500k, which is the bike by which I judge all others btw....
#2: Engine!!! Wow it's great. It doesn't have the snap of something like an MT07, but the Enfield sounds better and feels great. Plenty of torque anywhere and you can use ALL the power. Even my humble Ducati, with 82 HP, rarely gets to exercise its engine, at least where I ride. Like my old Honda, you can pin the throttle without going straight to jail. Lots of fun! It also sounds great. I've had it up to about 85 MPH, which is the fastest I would ever go, and it did fine, and felt like there was some more speed to be had. Anything over 75 and it kind of feels like you're abusing it. I think 60-70 is a comfortable sweet spot.
#3: Fit and finish is really good. My dad has an '04 Bullet 500, the classic iron barrel one, and it is nothing like this new twin. The paint is beautiful, and it has nicely polished engine cases!! Even the cheesy plastic fenders look good. I thought that would be one of the first things to change, but the silver paint is nice! I love the orange color because it comes with silver wheels, while most of the others come with black wheels. Yuk lol
Okay, here are the things I DON'T like. Subjective of course....
#1. Handling is garbage. I mean, at 50 mph gentle curves it's fine. But when you really push it you start to feel the squirliness of the shitty forks and shocks. Or maybe the cheap tires are a big culprit. When they wear out I'll shop for better rubber. I can say it does not handle bumpy roads well at all. I think my terrible old CB500 does better on bumpy surfaces.... So, I will eventually invest in good shocks, and probably a YSS fork kit. I would love to hear people's opinions on the available shocks. Do I have to spend $700 for fully adjustable YSS reservoir shocks, or are there other options people like??
#2. Brakes. Not good. Again, for normal riding, they're just fine. Way better than my vintage bikes. But, when you really stomp on the brakes, especially the rear, the ABS is a bit intrusive and you can feel the pulsations. I was riding at a fairly high speed and braked fast to turn onto another road, and the ABS did not instill confidence. I realize it's not a performance bike, and I was maybe asking too much of it, but that incident made me wish I could turn the ABS off. Can you do that btw???
Um, those are the only "objective" negatives I can come up with. It's a brilliant bike. For 1/2 the price of a Bonneville you get about 80% of the bike (maybe more).
Finally, here are some mods and upgrades I'm planning:
1: aforementioned forks and shocks, when I can afford them!
2: exhaust. I'm seriously thinking about the "powerage" full headers and mufflers. Yeah I know, they're cheap. It's a cheap bike!!! I can't wait to weigh the stock system and then the aftermarket one. I bet it's 100#s difference. (ok exaggerating....) One thing about retro bikes is that the exhausts always look disproportional, due to the chambers, dual walls, catalysts, etc.
3: lower handlebars. They're not bad, but I really love the riding position of my CB500k with CB400f bars, which is basically a superbike bar setup. I think I will try the Hitchcock low bars
4: turn signals. Man they are cheesy. Not only are they low quality chromed plastic, they're bulbous and stupid looking. If the US market bikes came with the rectangular ones I've seen, I might not hate them so much. I am going to get the metal rectangular signals from Dime City Cycles.
5: luggage rack. I've already ordered a cheap chrome rear rack from India. I have something similar on my classic Honda. Hopefully it gets me by. If not, I will have to upset the bike's sleek looks with some saddlebags.
6: tank pads. I like the rubber knee pads I'm seeing. They look cool!
7: Air filter kit. I like the cleanable DNA filter and cover eliminator.
That's it for now. If you made it through my whole novella, congratulations, and thanks for reading! I hope my initial "review" is somewhat useful, and feel free to chime in with suggestions for the upgrades I mentioned!!

2023.05.29 14:09 feline_on_the_prowl Is Callie what they brought back with them from the wilderness?

As the episodes in season two progresses, we see Callie going from being horrified at Shauna's actions to kinda admiring her. She almost thinks her mother is a bad ass. Also when she asks Jeff if she is like her mother? Did anyone miss the expression on Callie's face when she sees Lottie say that she felt it before taken away? Didn't Lottie also say that Callie is powerful or something in the woods when she first sees her? Makes you think about the Halloween night at the club where she is wearing Jackie's uniform and Shauna thinks it's actually Jackie.

2023.05.29 11:30 Lopsided-Parsley-178 What happened on this flight?

I worked in travel a few years ago and I was on an Emirates flight back from Perth to Dubai after returning with a work trip with the Western Australia tourism board and Emirates/Qantas but it was a pretty strange experience. When we boarded there was around 40-50 people on board including the 10 in our group and the crew and it was probably the least amount of people I’ve ever seen on a long haul flight!
We take off and about 5 minutes from taking off the male flight attendant is looking out of the window from his seat and pointing to the female flight attendant near him. He seemed quite worked up and then the whole crew remained in their take off seats for around 30-45 minutes whilst talking on those phones that they have.
About 30-45 minutes after take off, we’re told over the loud speaker that we’re expecting turbulence throughout the flight and to keep our seat belts on at all times (the sign literally didn’t turn off). The flight attendants then started to move everyone to the middle/left side of the plane and closed the window blinds on the right side. I asked if anything was wrong and why the male flight attendant seemed worried at the start but was just told that it was turbulence causing the seat belt sign issue and that he was just ‘admiring’ the view from take off (that sentence has always stuck with me).
After about 11 hours of flying, we reach Dubai and we land at a completely separate part of the airport to the main terminal part. We had to wait for them to get stairs (I kid you not, the type you’d use to get on a Ryan air or EasyJet low cost flight), and arrange for a shuttle bus to pick us up and take us to the terminal. It was a pretty strange experience - We got inside the terminal and were scurried through by an airport rep but enroute they upgraded our entire party to business class for the Dubai to London leg with Qantas (presumably as the previous flight wasn’t a great experience) and no further mention of it was ever made.
I have just been talking to someone about this strange experience today and just wondered if this is protocol if something happens with an engine or an issue with the plane? I wish I’d pushed for more info at the time but it was a bit of a whirlwind experience.
