How many video chests are there because it seems like there are only about five or so that constantly repeat themselves? Or is this just part of the spaced repetition? I feel like they’re a good idea but very poorly executed at the minute. For starters, I’m doing the Spanish courses and having the characters voiced by English speaking actors is really jarring compared with the rest of the course. Why not have them voiced by the original actors in Spanish with Spanish subtitles and a pause button the first time you watch the video. Then the second time watching the video there could be no subtitles, you press pause and the subtitles appear.
Second, you don’t seem to really learn all that much from them or practice the stuff you do learn to memorise it. For example the avocado lesson, I can remember there are two names for avocado, I believe one was aguacate and the other I can’t remember. Why? Because I didn’t get to drill it in a proper lesson.
Feels like a good idea but I think the current implementation needs some work.

I haven't changed my own oil in over two decades. After a couple of mishaps, I'm beginning to not trust some techs to drive (or try to drive) my beautiful car that has a MT. I would assume that changing the oil has not changed in 20 years, but there may be some new tips/tricks. My car is a 2015 Honda Accord EX-L V6, six-speed MT.
Off-topic: I don't trust jack stands, so I'm going to invest in some car ramps. I can't believe that they sell them in plastic. You would think if you're going to put 1 3/4 tons above you, you'd pony up the extra $20 - $30 for the steel ones.

- Start car to normal operating temperature, turn off car
- Put pan under crankcase, use 17 mm wrench to loosen plug
- Drain oil completely, replace pressure washer with a new one, replace plug, tighten slightly
- Using oil wrench, remove oil filter, check to make sure gasket didn't stick to the case
- Drain oil from filter, replace filter after lubing the seal/gasket, tighten slightly
- Add 4.5 quarts 0W-20 synthetic detergent oil (API seal)
- Check the dipstick, run engine for 3 minutes, turn off and recheck dipstick
- Cycle through function button on dash to oil level, hold button until display flashes, let go, hold button again and number should go back to 100%
- Done.

I recently started using my Surface Pro 8 with clipstudio paint to draw on it. As I dont want a keyboard attached while drawing i wanna know, how can i press a button to unselect my selection, so that i can continue to draw everywhere again? In that breath I realized that there might be helpful setting for better usage of CSP on my Surface, so you any of you have nice settings that they use for their Windows Tablet, I would love to hear them <3

Just talking to a friend while roaming and he's come up with a viable thought for quality of life improvements.
Firstly, I'm playing on Series X so I'm going off my controller scheme.
The right thumbstick as well as the left and right D-Pad buttons are redundant by default, they don't do nothing. To be able to have these used for QoL improvements would be great. Having easier access to elixirs/incense by just holding either D-Pad output and using the right thumb stick to cycle through items would be a massive boon instead of having to constantly go through menus.
Another improvement that would be appreciated is the ability to see our basic stats (attack, armour, life, STR, INT, WILL, DEX) stats that are shown on the character screen to be also seen on screen while we are also comparing items, either found in the wild or at shops. It's annoying when trying to compare stats and what items will adjust when your stats screen is covered up by your general comparison popups. Having to quit out, look at your stats, then re enter comparison menu is time consuming and mildly annoying.
Would like to hear other people's thoughts on this.

I'm setting up a remote for my companion app using the Android TV integration. I'm 99% complete but there are a few deeplinks that I can't find, specifically: Hulu, Max (formerly HBO Max) and Apple TV.
I'd nearly given up on using Homeassistant as a remote due to the latency or complete lack of response using the Bravia integration. During my last Homeassistant update a new (to me) integration called Android TV found my TV and I decided to try it. It's so fast! Everything works flawlessly with the exception of the above mentioned app buttons.

- Steam and games see it recognized as Switch Pro controller, buttons work as expected. However, in emulators does this appear swapped still (eg. in Cemu "B" is to confirm instead of cancel)?
- Gyro servers are working, but in Cemu is there set-up to work with BotW? Cannot seem to get motion to work for aiming without setting gyro as a joystick.

I see all these posts complaining about “Tulin blew my stuff away” “Yunobo ruins everything” Every time I look to see the problem with a vow, its user error. Every time, except for Sidon and Riju, I hate chasing them too. That being said I do agree the button needs to be different. Anyways, here is solutions for your user error while we wait for Nintendo to hopefully change the vow button system.
User error solution for Tulin: Tulin blowing your stuff away is solved with a simple bit of paying attention to that “A” prompt and if you want to use an octorok, deactivate him its not like the summon has a cooldown, kick him out, put him back in when you’re done, hell do the same with picking stuff up if you like.
User error solution for Yunobo: He won’t destroy any builds if you simply look before you leap, don’t press A like your life depends on it. And if its to help Addison, he doesn’t take that long to get the talking prompt, don’t waste time inspecting because time will stop when you talk to him, if he says its standing, talk immediately and don’t risk Yunobo’s follower mechanic to screw you up and you press his prompt. Or do the same for Tulin with Ocotroks, deactivate him when doing Addison help.
Its that simple, but anyone who needs to chase after Sidon or Riju for their power, I feel your pain on that, she is the one vow I have a problem with, not even counting her lightning wasting bow durability, good melee though. Sidon is relatively the same but wasting weapon durability as a whole.
Oh and a neat little slight off topic tidbit, if you need pictures of the champion weapons and you don’t want forge them yourself, vow weapons count for the compendium if you don’t mind risk of quality for completion.

Hey all, I'm looking for suggestions. Just bought a house with a panel light in the kitchen, which is currently daylight temp. My wife wants to replace it for warm white, but I want to keep the daylight/cool white as an option for when I'm cooking. On top of that, she wants it dimmable.
My thoughts are this: replace the panel light for a tricolour LED panel, put it on a rotary pushbutton, but ideally I can get a light that I can long press the push button and it change temps.
Does anyone have any recommendations for tricolour LED panels that are changeable at the light switch rather than dipswitch on the back of the panel? Ideally I could control it with something like a voltex dm300s

Hi gamers! I've been filling my hard drive with gaming clips using Shadowplay. The problem is that they are a fixed window long (2 min 30 sec for me), but the highlights are usually only a few seconds at the end. But sometimes it's a 2 minute killstreak, so I need the full window. I know about Outplayed. In the meantime, I have to edit out clips so I can delete raw footage so I can record more footage.
Windows Movie Maker has been meeting my needs here. The problem is that it crashes all the time - very frustrating when I'm about to save my painstaking edit.

I'm exploring video editing tools. A lot of full-featured ones look great for making montages, tutorials, etc, but clumsy for editing 2 minute footage down to 15 second clips.
Any of you gamers have a favorite lightweight editing tool to recommend?
Things I'm looking for:
- Graphical editor. What masochists cut raw footage using ffmpeg!?
- Drag and drop of clips from windows explorer.
- Doesn't take forever to first import the whole video - I want the end, not the beginning, and I'm deleting the rest! It's very frustrating to wait while it load the parts I'm not using in excruciating detail.
- Lossless. I suspect that VLC's record button drops audio and frames sometimes. (Can anybody confirm?) I don't even trust Windows Movie Maker. This takes a lot of time. I wish I could just click "Save" and trust that what I just watched in the timeline was saved as a functional video file, with sound, with sound synced properly.
- Handles semi-corrupted video. My CPU is on fire while I'm gaming, so I think there some issues with how Shadowplay saves stuff. This might be why Movie Maker crashes in the first place.
- Good fast forwarding so I don't have to watch the whole video - I like when I can drag the slider at my own speed, without stuttering, to look for the action
- No complex projects. I don't want to set project options, create a project folder, etc. That comes later! This issue is what prompted me to ask for something lightweight.
- Easy to cut multiple short clips out of a video file and save them to new video files. My workflow now is to split the footage up, delete the clips I won't use from the timeline, awkwardly save a temporary project, then delete all but one clip to export each one in isolation, load it again and repeat for all the other clips, then delete temp project. I would love to just right click on the clip in the timeline and select an "Export" option.
- Easy to save clips in the same format as the raw footage. It's already annoying that I have to click carefully on "Export", not "Save Project" and double check if I'm saving in the 1080p it was recorded in. I really don't want to have to fill out a zillion checkboxes each time for framerate, interlacing, encoding, etc. Again, I'll do that later when I edit 20 clips into a montage. And it would be nice to not have to spent an afternoon configuring a profile in Blender or something to do this. You would think the original video format would be a good default!
- A good way of handling filenames in bulk. The raw clips all start in the "Videos/Planetside 2" folder. I keep the name and time and write a description at the end of the filename of what happens in them. I'd love if this was smoother - right now I find myself copy-pasting the existing name over "My Movie", futzing with the .DVR.mp4 extension, and having to decide where to save it each time.
- Ideally lets you delete the original video file smoothly. I have to create a new project in Movie Maker so Windows Explorer will let me delete the original. And I have to be really careful to keep track of filenames in my workflow so I delete the right video!

I've always wanted to get into hardware electronics but never had a reason to

the probalem is, I don't really know where to start
I've been looking for a tiny midi controller - 16 pads + probably 4 buttons (Octave up, down, shift, something else) with simple things like scale lock (the biggest thing for me)
Think of a beatstep, minus the knobs and scale lock included. Or a nanokey but with pads instead of keys I think a sequencer + quantization would be a V2 thing so for now I just want a simple controller.
I'm thinking that arduino or a daisy would be the best place to start? I was thinking teensy but doing some basic research audio is a seperate module?
I don't need a total handhold - I have people in IRL that know some things, but knowing where to start for audio specifically would be great!
