My approach: I identify its a contrast because of "Though". After reading the first blank phrase, there isnt much information for me to generate an idea (the only clue is that since "scientists" methods are being described so it has to be something serious or academic). After reading the second blank phrase I realize that the problem might be asking us to find words that will oppose the scientists work from their personality. I choose option C for that reason, with supporting evidence: Since scientists are imagined to have "painstaking" work, in reality they are "careless" as normal humans, to perform these "painstaking" tasks.

I've been "red-pilled" regarding circumcision for about 2 years now, and I can't think of a single day where I haven't thought of it, and where I haven't been worked into a frenzy thinking about my frustrations and hopelessness.
Everytime I use the bathroom, everytime I bathe, everytime I masturbate, and even every time I feel it shuffle as I reposition my legs, I'm just reminded that I was raped, my rapist(s) got away with it, and the two people I love most were complicit in their ignorance.
I thought about killing myself when I first realized what was taken from me and how I'd never be able to have it back. To be honest I still do quite often, when the mental images and constant "what-if's" drive me to the brink of madness with their ceaseless taunting, but Foregen helped give me a sliver of hope, even if it'll bankrupt me considering my current financial situation.
I'm really afraid that Foregen won't work, or even if it does that something will go wrong. Either my neurological pathways atrophied so I can never feel the new foreskin, my circumcision left more scars of my glans/urethra/etc. than I realized and even ECMs/Stem Cells can't fix it, or simply that the subconscious mental trauma is so unfixable that I can't be happy even if, best case scenario, I become "intact" again.
However, I've resolved that even if Foregen doesn't work as many of us hope, or if for some reason I'm unable to reap the benefits, I can at least live for the sake of ending the cycle by sparing my sons, and spreading the truth whenever it's necessary.
I'm just so exhausted, I get triggered every time I hear a baby cry, or hear words like "cut" or any word beginning with "circum-". I wonder, every single time I see another man or boy, if they went through the same trauma I had, if their penis had been mutilated and left in a lesser form, or if they were lucky enough to escape it.
I've become a huge hypochondriac with castration anxiety, so if anything about my dick seems unusual, such as shrinking to the point of burying itself in my scrotum, if the coloration has lots of purples, or if I get a growth like a lymphocele or pimple, I immediately assume I'm gonna lose my dick, and feel both terrified to get help and to do nothing and wait.
I'm just so pissed that no one realizes how fucked up this whole thing is, it's so normalized that people laugh off mutilating the genitals of a baby within hours of it's birth, or 8 days later if it's meant as a religious blood ritual and not for the satisfaction of a pedophilic doctor. I'm happy that the trans-kid controversies are bringing light to the issues of body modifications on children, but it feels like they're going to dance around the big ass elephant in the room and keep routine infant circumcision unrestricted.
I just can't fucking deal anymore, and I don't care about any of the meaningless political bullshit that everyone concerns themselves with every newscycle, I just wish I had my fucking foreskin back, or I never had it taken in the first place, but at the very least, I just want us to STOP doing this, to BAN the practice nationwide and preferably worldwide, and to have all those who were complicit in brainwashing the masses, performing the procedures, and profiting off of the forgotten screams of so many baby boys, to be brought to JUSTICE and seen for what they truly are.
