Today i was chilling, alone in my angle, yeah, i hadn't a smile but it wasn't a bad day, then the popular girl of my school, she said -why are you so sad? You don't know what's the real pain!- I was confused, i was like- you talking to me?- then she just went away. I don't get why she should be sad? She's, her family look so perfect that look like a christmas film, she has a boyfriend, tons of friends, good grades, and everbody loves her, she think i fake my sadness. I have no friends, i'm alone, i don't get a call or a message if not from my mom or random scammers i want to end it all, but i think that maybe tomorrow will be a better day, but is always, i'm ugly as hell, and i've never seen a girl actually interested in me, i feel like a stupid version of Giacomo Leopardi.

I am super excited for this game and am broadly confident that Nintendo will deliver something magical. But I'm not sold on the fused weapons.
I like the idea in theory. It makes everything interactive, which is huge. It could solve some of the issues with breakable weapons. It feels like an extension of BotW's design philosophy of "multiplicative gameplay." I am thrilled to try it out.
BUT ... the way Link swings that boulder-stick just doesn't look or feel right. It has no weight to it. His animation is the same as any one-handed weapon attack.
One of my favorite things about BotW was how real it felt. Obviously there are dragons and magic and etc etc. But the devs went to huge efforts to make things feel immersive. Fire acts like fire, it burns and spreads. Chopping trees with an axe is more effective than with a sword, and using a stick doesn't work at all. Some objects float in water and others sink. The objects and elements of the world all feel like they're made out of certain materials, with density and weight. The whole art style was developed to "tell clever lies" and sweep gameplay-focused unrealities—like trees poofing into piles of lumber—under the rug. These little details add up to evoke a world that feels true, like you're really there.
And I just don't see that with these goofy fused weapons. The boulder-stick thing looks ... fake. Almost like a glitch. At minimum, I wish that fusing a giant boulder to a handle would force Link to use the weapon two-handed, like a claymore with the slower attack animation.
Am I the only one who's got beef with this?

So, I’m going to try to keep this short. My older sister (31f) is dying of cancer. She has battled it for 10 years but end of life decisions are being made and the time is coming for us to prepare ourselves. My younger sister (26f) and myself (29f) are basically in charge of helping with final arrangements. Older sister has expressed she would like to be cremated and then she wants us to spread a little bit of her ashes on our family vacations over the next several years. She wants ALL of her ashes spread. That being said, our father (60m) has asked if he could keep some of her ashes. Normally, I’m sure this would not be a big deal for most families, but our dad has not been very active in any of our lives. Our parents have been divorced for 15 years and dad was not much of a dad before that either. Even with older sister, he never once took her to a treatment or doctors appointment. Never visited her. Rarely would text to ask how she is doing. Mind you, this is over the span of TEN YEARS. He has had a long time to change his ways. He is the same with younger sister and myself. I think I get one text a year from him, if that. Younger sister and I just don’t think he deserves any of older sisters ashes. Older sister has expressed she wants ALL of her ashes spread (she knows he has asked but she is very forgetful and hard to communicate with thanks to her glioblastoma) so getting an answer out of her is hard. Younger sister and I do realize that he is older sisters father (even though she refers to him as “sperm donor”) and while he is not “Father of the Year” he still may need something to help him heal from the loss of a child. So, I decided we would buy fake ashes on Etsy (yes, it’s a thing) and give dad the fake ashes. He will never know they are fake, older sister will still be spread, and everyone is happy. WIBTA for giving our dad fake ashes instead of real ashes from older sister?

If you are Catholic (or Catholic-friendly) I highly recommend going to Palm Sunday mass in PA. Went last year, different vibe than the US. Cool palms being sold, the people are real, the mass is nice. I speak little Spanish but am very familiar with the mass.
Not really a tourist thing, though (you are not there to stare at the locals).
I'm recommending it only for Catholics and those who can fake it (like me--my wife is C, my kids fake it, and I don't even bother anymore, but I can show respect--heck, I can still take communion--when I was younger I thought it was funny to palm the host and save it for later)-- but I enjoyed the service very very much.

My name is Morten and I am conducting a study on individual differences in fake news detection for my degree in BSc Psychology at the University of Derby. If the study of fake news interests you, please consider taking part in a very interesting study!
Fake news and misinformation is becoming increasingly widespread and may cause individuals and groups harm. As individuals and a society, it is imperative that news agencies relay accurate and truthful information, such that we can face challenges in our lives in the best possible ways. However, some of the news that we are exposed to can be misleading, inaccurate, or even downright false. Investigating what factors are involved in discerning fake from real news is crucial so that we can develop strategies to accurately infer what information to trust and what to discard. This study investigates individual differences in fake news detection focusing on the effects of personality, cognition, and political standing.
The study involves completing a fake news detection task and a few questionnaires. Most people require around 25 minutes to complete the study, but some may need up to 45 minutes. UK citizens aged at least 18 years can participate.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate work done on this game from launch. Game is just much better now. But this 20% DMG tower for pvp in combination with zero time penalty when moving to another clan, will bring really big issues to game, much toxicity etc. It will make strong clans much stronger and weak clans much weaker.
There is only one important tower - Tower of Fortitude, with 20% DMG for all pvp. Whoever will control this towers, will control whole game. How do you prevent situation, that top 10 whales will make fake clans, only to get control of this towers? They can now easy jump to others clans. How do you prevent the situation, that this whales will come help to allied clans? Or, its ok to do it? Is this the right way? There is a big space for manipulation. How do you prevent the situation, that next week will other fake clans make control over next towers?
When do you get that rewards from towers? Imagine situation with fake clans. Could it happen, that people owning fake clans will jump from one fake clan to another and claim rewards from it? Like farm it?
And the best is, when you get Tower of Fortitude, you get automatic that 20% DMG buff even for defending this tower. But clans, that will take control over your tower, doesn't have this buff, so they need to be 20% stronger. Like for real, when all top clans will sit on all Towers of Fortitude?
Now top whale clans are vacuuming players from other clans. And what do you think will happen in weaker clans, that don't get towers with this buff? Pvp players will flee to stronger top whale clans. Was this your goal? Do you think, that people without this buff will go vault, BG or other pvp activity? Now I am eaten alive by big whales and they will get another buff, so I would be forced to join top whale clans or don't do pvp.
Please remove Towers of Fortitude, or game will become a joke. Its a good idea with towers, but Tower of Fortitude is too strong, even if you nerf it. They would be two categories of players - players that have Tower of Fortitude and people that don't have it. And it would be big difference between them, much bigger as between shadows and immortals. Then you can rename game to Diablo - towers of fortitude.
Prove me, that I am wrong, that I am blind, that I am too pessimistic, that it will end much better.
