2023.03.29 20:09 hittusup Search nodes function needs to be fixed
![]() | Maybe this has already been asked, but I find it very frustrating that when I use the 'Search Nodes...' function that it doesn't actually highlight which skill has a node matching the keyword. I've had to type a keyword, click onto a skill, look thoroughly for a glowing white border, click back, RETYPE THE KEYWORD, click the next skill, look for flashing white border, click back, etc... so many times now that I've decided to make this post. This can't be the way it's supposed to work. submitted by hittusup to LastEpoch [link] [comments] For example, right now I'm trying to sustain rage. I read that I should be investing in invigoration and frenzied strikes. I'm a noob. I don't remember the name of every node. How come searching for invigoration isn't highlighting the Werebear form? https://preview.redd.it/l4cxy92jvpqa1.png?width=844&format=png&auto=webp&s=e7bb53706b4e363fc21983710855a575cec1aa64 Another instance...if I want to find skills that convert to cold, I should be able to type cold and it should highlight skills that have nodes that mention cold. Right now it seems like it's searching skill description, not nodes. Will this be fixed or is this working as intended? If it's working as intended...why? |

![]() | AO3 Link submitted by StrivingJarl to u/StrivingJarl [link] [comments] Scene 03: The White Space The scene starts off similarly to the actual game, where itâs a POV shot of someone waking up in a white void with nothing in it. And then, it cuts to a shot showing Modern Sonic waking up and getting onto his feet, groaning and rubbing his head for a moment. Sonic: âUuggghhâŚthat was NOT the kind of birthday surprise I likeâŚâ Sonic: âWaitâŚwhere am IâŚ?â Confused and worried, Sonic looks around and calls out for his friends, with only the echoes of his footsteps being heard and nothing as far as the eye can see⌠Sonic: âTails? Knuckles? Anybody!?â Sonic looks down, clearly concerned about his current predicament. With a more melancholy expression, he stares out at the vast void againâŚhowever, this time, he notices something far off in the distance⌠He squints his eyes in order to get a better look, but itâs hard to tell. But with no better ideas on where to start, Sonic just runs towards it, ending the scene⌠Yeah, this one was really short. Thereâs really not much to add on to this scene here. But the next scene has more to it. Though, thereâs a short gameplay sequence in-between. Similar to what happens before Green Hill Act 2, you get to play as Modern Sonic in the empty White Space, and run towards the faraway object. Thereâs invisible walls on the side, and behind at the start, so that the player wonât fall off the path, and Modern Sonic has all his abilities here. Including an unlimited boost. So, it wonât take too long before you get close, where the next scene plays⌠Scene 04: A Trip To South Island Sonic arrives at the object, and finally gets a good look at it. Thatâs when he finds out what it isâŚa strange, futuristic clocktowerâŚhowever, it looks incredibly damaged and beyond repair, complete with many parts of it down on the ground. Plus, thereâs many symbols on it, likely some kind of ancient language. This ugears clocktower is just a placeholder. With a curious expression, Sonic scans the clocktower, moving around it to get a better look at everything. Sonic: âHuhâŚIâve seen my fair share of clock towers, but this one is definitely differentâŚâ Sonic: âThough, it could certainly use some refurbishingâŚâ Getting closer, the hedgehog puts his hand onto the symbols of the tower, moving some of the dust off of it, and also blowing it off his glove. Sonic: âManâŚI could REALLY use Tailsâ help hereâŚor even Knuckles or RougeâŚâ Sonic: âBetter yet, maybe they could figure a way out of this place?â For a moment, Sonic has an irritated expression, feeling heâs reached a dead end here. HoweverâŚsomething catches his attention on the groundâŚa cyan glow beneath a piece of the towerâŚcurious, he kneels down to move it, and finds a glowing clock hand⌠Imagine one of these designs is the clock hand. Sonic: âHmâŚâ Grabbing the clock hand, Sonic inspects it, intrigued. Sonic: âMaybe THIS is the answer?â Taking a moment to ponder what this thing does, the hedgehog decides to point it forward, confidently. HoweverâŚnothing really happensâŚwhich leaves Sonic scratching his head. Sonic: âOkayâŚguess itâs not gonna be that easyâŚâ Sonic: âHow about something likeâŚ?â Sonic: â...Take me to Green Hill?â Without warning, the clock hand suddenly starts to pulsate with cyan energy, catching Sonic off-guard as a shot of the energy fires off from the pointy end. Sonic: âAH!â This causes Sonic to drop the clock hand, which seems to be drained and no longer glowing. And as for the energy shot, it lands near the right side of the clocktower, where a big cyan clock symbol appears on the ground. The hedgehog looks on in intrigue. Out of the clock symbol comes what appears to be some sort of ghost-white structure resembling Green Hill. After a couple more seconds, where the area has fully formed, the clock symbol and cyan glow fades away, leaving Sonic surprised. https://preview.redd.it/sv31lhdu7jqa1.jpg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c4c568457678a016ce2c4f354648f8e757d5c7d8 Sonic: âWoahâŚâ Turning his attention back to the clock hand on the ground, Sonic grabs it, though is clearly a bit more cautious than before. After another moment of inspection, the hedgehog looks back at the Green Hill entrance, with a smirk on his face. Sonic: âHeh! I may not get the full picture here, but I wonât complain about having a chance to escape thisâŚwhite space for a while!â Sonic: âEspecially when itâs one of my favorite spots!â Sonic: âNot to mention, I need to find my friends too. And figure out whatâs going on.â Sonic: âSoâŚI guess another adventure awaits!â With an upbeat demeanor, Sonic heads off towards the Green Hill entrance with the clock hand, as the scene ends⌠While it's not really necessary here, I would like to cover the changes made here! First of all, whatâs the deal with this clocktower? And the clock hand too? WellâŚremember how the Time Eater was kinda justâŚthere for Eggman to get his hands on? And how itâs never explained exactly what it is, or how it came to be? Well, this time, thereâs gonna be some LORE to explain it! And yeah, not everything needs to be explained in a story, but I feel if itâs going to be important, then Iâm gonna make an explanation for it. Makes things more interesting. Next, why not just have the Green Hill entrance right there at the start, like originally? Again, Iâd like to change things up in order to have some sort of explanation here. Sure, itâs not necessary, but Iâll go ahead with it anyway. See, White Space is supposed to consist of areas torn from time and space by the Time Eater, right? And these areas are all places and events from Sonicâs memories, correct? Well, hereâs my idea here. What if Sonic had to summon specific areas from his history in order to find what he needs? Like he HAS to go through these areas because thatâs the only way he can find one of his friends, or the Chaos Emeralds? Instead of just having everything set up in a line for his convenience like in the actual game? That may not be necessary, but I feel it makes it a little more interesting. Like the heroes actually have to do the work themselves. Anyways! After that scene, the player gets to go to Green Hill Act 2! And Iâve already talked about it in the last post, so letâs get to the scene that plays after completing the level! Scene 05: Back For More https://preview.redd.it/ezqacn3v8jqa1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=26864fa691549b5a01934b31fbcadacd7bd5ff1f In the high hills and mountains of Green Hill, we see Classic Sonic speeding around a bit, only to stop for a moment, looking pretty annoyed. Sonic: âUgh! This is so annoying!â Sonic: âNot only is the rest of the island being blocked off with some weird invisible walls, along with the Tornado disappearing, but I canât find ANYTHING!â Sonic: âUsually, I can always find trouble the minute it happens, but apparently, that isnât gonna be the case today!â Sonic: âSighâŚâ Sonic holds onto his head, agitated. Sonic: âMaybe if Iâm lucky, the trouble will just come to me instead?â After saying this, one of his ears wiggle a bit, hearing what sounds like something getting smashed from above. So, Sonic looks up curiously, only to find that some big totem-pole (Which seems to have some sort of circular dent left in it, despite being broken in half) about to fall down on him. Panicked, the young hedgehog quickly leaps out of the way as the debris crashes onto the ground. As Sonic gets up, he notices something flying down towards him, and while annoyed, heâs also a little pleased, now that heâs found someone he thinks will give him the answers he wants. After allâŚheâs no stranger to causing trouble⌠https://preview.redd.it/qyp1bsn59jqa1.jpg?width=841&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c6a02a01d0fdd9258588f793ba7f27115c809200 Robotnik: âHahahahaha! If it isnât Sonic!â Robotnik: âHonestly, I was hoping you wouldnât notice that gift I sent your way!â Sonic: âHeh! Iâm flattered, but Iâm not a fan of damaged goods! Or getting crushed!â Sonic: âBut if you want to give me something, you can start by telling me why youâre here, and what youâre doing!â Robotnik: âOh, nothing too special, Iâd say. Just picked up some strange energy signature from my base, and decided to investigate!â Sonic: âPlease! If you think Iâm gonna buy that, you must think Iâm as gullible as Knuckles!â Sonic: âBesides, I seem to recall that itâs YOUR badniks Iâve been dealing with since that weird shadow beast showed up!â Robotnik: âShadow beast? Using MY own creations? The nerveâŚâ Robotnik: âStill, if you think youâll get ANY sort of answer from me, think again rodent!â Sonic: âUgh. Of course youâre not gonna spill the beans.â Sonic: âThen again, Iâd be surprised if you DID know something, considering your track record!â Robotnik: âExcuse me? Are you trying to imply something here? Have you forgotten who youâre talking to?â Sonic: âOh, not at all! Iâm talking to the guy who gets his butt kicked by me on a daily basis!â Sonic: âIf you really were a genius, you should have won at some point!â Robotnik: âRrrgghhhâŚ! You seriously think Iâll keep losing to you after all this time!? Preposterous!â Robotnik: âIâm ALWAYS coming up with new inventions and plans! And Iâll execute them when the time is right!â Sonic: âReally? Got anything in mind, doc?â Robotnik: âMost certainly! Like THIS!â Pressing a button on his console, an irritated Robotnik releases a chained wrecking ball with a checker-board pattern on it, which Sonic seems to have a nostalgic look at. Art made by Advert-man on DeviantArt. Sonic: âHeh. Using the old ball-and-chain strategy again?â Robotnik: âWhat can I say? An oldie, but a goodie!â Robotnik: âBesides, sometimes the most effective strategy is the most simple!â Sonic: âRight. And what makes you think itâll work this time?â Robotnik: âYouâll come to find I have more in store for this one!â Robotnik: âAnd by the time weâre done, youâll end up as blue jelly!â Sonic: âBlue jelly? Heh! Alright then! Letâs jam!â The two adversaries stare each other down, as the scene ends and the Egg Wrecker boss fight begins⌠This was a fun one to write about. Having Sonic and Eggman banter is like comfort food, in some weird way. I donât have anything to really say about this scene, sinceâŚwellâŚwe gotta focus on one of the big additions here! EGG WRECKER (SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 1991) Instead of there being one rival and boss battle for each era, Iâm taking inspiration from JebTubeâs âThe Timeline Where Sonic Succeedsâ video, and having one boss fight for each level in this game. Not only to extend game time, but also to write about some fun ideas and what-not. Plus, it kinda follows a similar structure to games like Sonic Advance 2, with two acts for a level, and then a boss fight. I find it pretty nice, and my preferred way of handling gameplay here. While weâre at it, in White Space, the bosses donât have those generic gates locked by mission keys. Instead, they have little areas similar to the levels, complete with either the boss themself or some sort of informant there to talk with, and bring up hints and information thatâs important to the boss or area the boss takes place in. Hereâs an example: This art was made by me. The boss areas are also next to their respective stages, too. Also, when it comes to Chaos Emeralds being obtained, there wonât be any special stages. I COULD include them, but I feel thatâs not necessary. Instead, some of the bosses would have an Emerald on hand, and like in the original Generations, youâd have to beat them in order to collect it. Beat all of them, and you got all seven. Easy as that. Now, letâs actually talk about this boss! Obviously, being the first ever Sonic boss fight, it gets to be included here, and as the first boss in this rewrite as well, itâs not too difficult. Itâs mainly a throwback boss. The first phase would be similar to the original fight, where Eggman just swings the ball around and Sonic has to jump onto two platforms on either side in order to get a hit in. However, after about 5 hits, Eggman gets angry and Phase 2 would begin. Yeah, pretty much every boss here has multiple phases, in order to make it more tough and to add more to the fight overall. And for this fightâs second phase, Eggman starts swinging the wrecking ball around in more wild and dangerous ways, like in Sonic 4: Episode 1. Plus, heâll sometimes go into the background in order to destroy some terrain, and have it fall down on you, which youâll have to dodge, and also send in some badniks in order to distract you so that Eggman can get more hits in. Though, his attacks can also damage his own robots as well. But after 3 more hits, Eggman is defeated, the ending cutscene plays (By the way, these are skippable now), and the results screen is shown. Simple, but effective. Now, letâs get to the scene after this fight! Cutscene 06: Like Looking In A Mirror⌠https://preview.redd.it/54dhs1k1ajqa1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ce64c492d550beb2bc850fef0416c70759b5d4e2 In the same Green Hill area as the last scene, Classic Sonic stands triumphant among a bunch of busted badnik parts, and the broken ball and chain. As for Robotnik, heâs pretty bruised, and his Egg Mobileâs plenty damaged, letting off some smoke. Heâs very irritated and trying to fix the controls, while his machine wobbles a bit in the air. Classic Sonic: âLike I said, Eggman! If it didnât work before, it wasnât gonna work now!â Classic Sonic: âSo then? Ready to call it quits early this time?â Robotnik: âNEVER! I refuse to give in to some annoying blue rat!â Though Classic Sonic seems annoyed by that rat comment, he quickly gains his focus as Robotnik attempts to flee. However, his Egg Mobile keeps bumping into nearby structures, with one of the damaged totem-poles accidentally falling off the high area the two adversaries were fighting on. And way below that area, Modern Sonic is going around, looking for some kind of clue or commotion. Modern Sonic: âOkay, judging by the different scrapped badniks around here, and what those little animals tried to tell me, someone is definitely causing a ruckus.â Modern Sonic: âAnd I definitely heard somethingâŚ?â As he looks up above, he notices the falling totem-pole coming down, and easily zips out of the way as itâs about to crash onto the ground. Curiously, he moves his gaze back up, and notices a familiar, smoking object flying off in the sky, which occasionally bumps into a few structures. Immediately, he can figure out who it might be. Modern Sonic: âEggman!â Laser-focused, Modern Sonic zips ahead in a deep blue streak across the landscape to chase Robotnik, while another, light blue streak does the same nearby. This then leads to a sequence where we see the two Sonicâs traversing the many structures and environment, with their own skills, tricks, and acrobatics. It shows off Classic Sonicâs more showy, but inexperienced style, and Modern Sonicâs confident and experienced style. https://i.redd.it/q951xqdyajqa1.gif https://i.redd.it/d1xpn0bzajqa1.gif Eventually, the two versions of the same hedgehog are running down the same pathway, only being blocked by different structures and objects, like the trees, rushing waterfalls, and checkerboard hills. Plus, theyâre too focused on catching Robotnik to notice anyone nearby, as they reach the end of the pathway. Modern Sonic: âAlrightâŚjust gottaâŚ!â Classic Sonic: âCome onâŚ! Iâm not letting youâŚ!â The two Sonicâs run towards the end of the pathway, where they leap up at the same time and reach their arms out to grab onto Robotnik, still too focused on their target to notice a lookalike right next to them as they shout out⌠M & C Sonic: âGOTCHA!â The scene slows down as the two Sonicâs attempt to catch Robotnik, who looks back at them in complete surprise and shock, only to suddenly disappear in some sort of purple energy aura, leaving the two hedgehogs to grab nothing as they fall down to the ground below. M & C Sonic: âWhatâŚ!? WaitâŚ!â Without Robotnik to focus on, the two hedgehogâs finally notice each other and are utterly surprised and shocked. M & C Sonic: âWHAT!?â But before either one of them can question just what the heck is going on, they start to pay attention to the fact that theyâre falling down, and focus on trying to land safely. Modern Sonic simply does a flipping motion and lands on the ground safely, while Classic Sonic has to leap across a few nearby structures before landing on the ground, looking a bit tired and confused. Modern Sonic is also confused, but approaches his younger self, feeling some concern. Modern Sonic: âUmmmâŚare you okay?â Classic Sonic: âYeahâŚ! JustâŚgive me a secâŚ!â After a few seconds, Classic Sonic is able to gain his composure, and appears to be fine enough. Though, when turning his attention to his older self, he goes back to an irritated and confused expression. Classic Sonic: âOkay! Can this day get ANY weirder!?â Classic Sonic: âFirst of all! Who the heck are you!? Are you another imposter robot or something!?â Modern Sonic: âUh, no! Definitely not! Iâm Sonic The Hedgehog!â Classic Sonic: âYeah, no! IâM Sonic The Hedgehog! I was here first, faker!â Modern Sonic: âFaker? Last I checked, my eyes werenât black, and I wasnât half my size!â Classic Sonic: âWell, I donât remember putting on green contacts, or growing my hair out either!â Classic Sonic: âAnd besides, even if we BOTH happened to be the same guy, thereâs no way there can be TWO Sonicâs running around!â Modern Sonic: âWhat about Metal Sonic?â Classic Sonic: âHe doesnât count! The point is that one of us is the phony, and Iâm pretty sure itâs not me!" Modern Sonic: âSame he-â Modern Sonic: â...Wait a minuteâŚâ Classic Sonic: âWhat? Please finish!â Modern Sonic: âLet me think for a second!â Despite still being annoyed, Classic Sonic decides to do so, and in a moment, Modern Sonic speaks up. Modern Sonic: âOkayâŚhave you seen any giant shadow creatures with gears on them?â When Modern Sonic asks that, Classic Sonic seems to calm down a bit, thinking before answering. Classic Sonic: âYeahâŚ? One just showed up in the sky all of a sudden, did something, left, and now thereâs all these badniks going around without any animals powering them.â Modern Sonic: âAnd there was no one with you? Or with that thing?â Classic Sonic: âNot in Green Hill. The rest of South Island is a mystery, since these invisible walls keep us trapped here.â Classic Sonic: âI already searched everything I can, but I havenât found anything or anyone out of place.â Modern Sonic: âDarnâŚI was hoping at least one of my friends was hereâŚâ Modern Sonic: âBut at least now, I have an idea about whatâs going on. Though, it may sound unbelievable to you.â Classic Sonic: âEh. Iâve already seen some unbelievable stuff, and Iâll take what I can get at this point.â The comment makes Modern Sonic smile a bit, and he gives a nod before continuing. Modern Sonic: âSeeâŚI think that creature is messing with timeâŚâ Modern Sonic: âSoâŚthat would make youâŚ?â Classic Sonic: â...What!? Hold on a sec!â Classic Sonic: âAre you saying thatâŚyouâre ME from the future?â Modern Sonic: âSeems like it. And that would make you my past self.â Modern Sonic: âEither that, or weâre dealing with alternate dimensions. Again.â Classic Sonic: âAgain?â Modern Sonic: âNot important right now.â Classic Sonic: â...Well, alright then.â Classic Sonic: âIâm guessing something happened with Little Planet?â Modern Sonic: âPersonally, I donât think thatâs the case. This is different.â Modern Sonic: âAfter that beast crashed my birthday party and kidnapped all my friends, I ended up in some strange white void. All that was there was this old clocktower.â Modern Sonic: âIt definitely has to be something from an ancient race, considering the language written on it.â Classic Sonic: âHuhâŚso, is that thing how you got here?â Modern Sonic: âWell, I used this clock hand that broke off from the clocktower to make an entrance to this area, so kinda.â Reaching from behind him, Modern Sonic shows the arrowhead to Classic Sonic, who looks at it in intrigue. Modern Sonic: âSeems like it gave me a way to travel back to your point in time.â As Modern Sonic puts the clock hand away, Classic Sonic seems to process all this information. Classic Sonic: â...Okay, this is a LOT to take in.â Classic Sonic: âAlso, Iâd ask why you arenât more panicked about all this, but with that alternate dimension comment, Iâm starting to think I go through some crazy stuff later on.â Modern Sonic: âHeh. Theyâre certainly some interesting stories.â Modern Sonic: âBut right now, what matters is finding that thing, along with my friends, and figuring out how to fix this mess.â Modern Sonic: âAfter all, it could be the end of everything as we know it.â Classic Sonic: âRightâŚthis is definitely a lot bigger than anything Iâve dealt with so farâŚâ Classic Sonic: âBut that doesnât mean I should sit back when the world needs my help!â Modern Sonic: âOUR help. Weâre definitely gonna have to work together if we want to win.â Modern Sonic: âBesidesâŚitâll be a lot more fun, right?â Modern Sonic offers a hand to Classic Sonic, who seems curious, but quickly puts on his own iconic smirk, and accepts it in kind. Classic Sonic: âDefinitely! Count me in!â The two Sonicâs smile at each other, before breaking from the handshake and discussing the next course of action. Modern Sonic: âAlright! I think itâs best we head back to that white space and figure out what to do next!â Classic Sonic: âSure! Lead the way!â Classic Sonic: âAlso, while weâre working together, I gotta askâŚâ Classic Sonic: â...How many more times do I beat Eggman in the future?â Modern Sonic: âEh. Iâve lost track at this point.â Modern Sonic: âBut trust me. He still manages to fail almost every time.â Classic Sonic: âHa! Thought so!â As the two Sonicâs start to run across the Green Hills, they continue to talk with one another as the scene ends⌠Whew! That was LENGTHY. But still fun to write about! Now, letâs discuss some stuff! Number 1! We pointed out the differences in design between the two Sonicâs! That way, itâs not just that CS decided one day to get green eye contacts. Instead, the time-mess being caused by the Time Eater, alongside the energy it disperses, makes two versions of the same person look different from one another. Like it somewhat fixes the fact that they shouldnât exist at the same time. Number 2! Instead of meeting via some weird mirror scene (Which was admittedly pretty interesting), we got these two interacting in Green Hill, where they both started. Also, the whole âtwo Sonicâs jumping off a cliff at the same timeâ thing was inspired by the teaser trailer of the original Generations. Itâs really cool. Number 3! The characters arenât idiots, and figure out theyâre dealing with time-travel much earlier on! Seriously, Tails! You donât need to be a genius to point out the blatantly obvious! Plus, CS having trouble processing all this information, including the future events heâll deal with in the future, is pretty interesting, and I want to show more of his thoughts on everything. Alright! Next post, we'll get to the next scene, and the next level! Next Post Archives Previous Post |

2023.03.28 17:32 Pandalian10 Milio Tips and Tricks: How this champ carried me to Masters
![]() | Hello! Im Pandalian10 and i recently reached Masters with this champ!. I mostly played Karma, but when Milio went live, i forced him into every game he wasn´t picked or banned. Here are some tips and tricks that helped me! submitted by Pandalian10 to MilioMains [link] [comments] https://preview.redd.it/w9zqej8k4iqa1.jpg?width=457&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c626f54266a01765113ffd5d9b0b116598f62b8a I previously posted the screenshot of me getting to Masters, and commented some tips, but i decided to make a different post, so it may help more people!(English is not my first language, so excuse any typos) https://preview.redd.it/2ykxpfjq4iqa1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b455307652d07fd06784b2b4cc4acc8b44780718 https://preview.redd.it/352nfqy65iqa1.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=71ebaceb11fea7625b91f47f5dee470fc6bfe700 Runes:https://preview.redd.it/dvapcfje5iqa1.jpg?width=509&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=14c4e9efe94aa86164d42ef859c585bee41a40bc Sorcery: Aery, Manaflow Band, Transcendence, Gathering Storm. Resolve: Second Wind / Bone Plating, Revitalize AH/AP/Armor-MR Never, NEVER take Scorch in your runes. Milio is not a poke champion, and the value of Gathering Storm is incredibly superior. This rune gives you 24 AP at 20 minutes, and 48 at 30. 48 AP is more AP than most Support Items, just for free. Scorch just gives 15ish damage after hitting an ability, which if you are against an enchanter, it is going to be healed/shielded. Pick Second Wind if you are against poke, and bone plating if you are against hard engage / burst Also, i don't really like cookies/time-warp. It is just a safe fuse for people who aren't good at laning phase. And Milio doesn't need them, as he is a pretty safe champion, and just the numbers of Revitalize are more useful than surviving laning phase. https://preview.redd.it/vzl7kp8t4iqa1.png?width=1199&format=png&auto=webp&s=651217f2727bc98169010532539a45ddf8f5d35e Ability Order:For me it always have been E-W-Q.Maxing Q first at any moment is inting, because even if the abilty gets somehow good, you are delaying W and E levels, which have vastly superior supporting abilities. Treat Milio Q as a Janna Q, Disengage/Poke, so if you are against a matchup like Tristana, you have to keep your Q up so you can cancel her jump, so you won't be spamming this ability in lane, so you won't need to max it. (I hope I made myself clear, lol) Maxing W is tempting if you have 1- A great ADC which you know won't int. 2- A duo who you can clearly communicate to. 3- Two or more marksmen in your team. As the healing in W is not really that great, even maxed out, you are only maxing it for the aditional range%, so it is game and team dependant. https://preview.redd.it/n88by2wt4iqa1.png?width=1199&format=png&auto=webp&s=6efd7b7bcb66635cbecc39bf37f846f6ea5967d0 Build:The only items you will buy every game are Relic Shield, Ionian Boots of Lucidity and Vigilant WardstoneStart with Relic Shield + 2 pots. Millio just has not the poke you need to buy spellthiefs, so this is the default choice. STOP AUTO-BUYING SHURELYAS EVERY GAME!!Your mythic item is your first mayor decision, that, if you play correctly, HAS to be game dependant. My rule of thumb is: If you know teamfight are going to be long, and you have tanks in both teams. Buy Moonstone Renewer. Trust me, i know that if you never built it, this may seem crazy. But Moonstone makes W´s heals actually a threat, and it increases the size of your shields notably, just for staying on fights. On the other side, if your team has plenty of ranged champs, the teamfights are going to be short as no one can really tank, or you are playing AGAINST a team of ranged champs who will be hard to reach. Buy Shurelyas. Vigilant Wardstone is actually OP:https://preview.redd.it/2b2kyjgv4iqa1.jpg?width=64&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ea9752646b6f4a42441efb78b3777332e3b9756e You are not going to buy it for the extra ward, you are going to buy it because, when you reach LV 13, and for only 1100 gold, it increases bonus attack damage, bonus health, ability power and ability haste by 12%. 12%!!!!!! JUST FOR 1100 GOLD, and also, IT COUNTS AS A LEGENDARY, SO YOU HAVE THE ADDED BONUS FROM YOUR MYTHIC.189% gold efficiency, plus scaling, plus extra wards, while being the CHEAPEST legendary in the game (without counting support starter items). A must buy at level 13 The rest of items are all situational, so im gonna list them.Ardent Censer: For many, an insta buy, but it isn't that good honestly. It gives bonus on-hit damage and AS to you and the champions affected by your shielding/healing. It is such a specific stat that you will only buy it if you have on your team 2+ champs that deal damage purely on their basic attacks. If not, there are better optionsChemtech Putrifier: After nerfs, it is just the same as an Oblivion Orb with added Heal and Shield power. You have to damage enemies for this item to work, and, honestly, i don't know if Milio´s passive counts as damage for this item. I suppose it does. Rush it against healing champs, but just stay at Oblivion Orb and finish the item later. Dark Seal: If you have 350g to spare, buy it. This item gives potentially 40 bonus AP for 350 gold, thats insane value. Mikael's Blessing: A great item to rush if you are against an Ashe support. It may seem useless, as Milio already has a Cleanse in his ultimate, but having potentially two cleanses in your kit is huge. The only thing is that you need to be fast and prepared for the CC, it isn't that useful if you cleanse it at the last 0.2 seconds. Redemption: My favourite support item. In comparison to the other two popular support items, Staff of Flowing Water and Ardent Censer, Redemption has a better build path. Making it very comfortable to buy. Redemption also gives +16% heal and shield power. Buy it when your team, or the enemy team has hard engage and you need to follow it with a redemption. Staff of Flowing Water: Its like Ardent Censer, but better, as it benefits more champs. It gives AP which makes it great if you have a mage carry, and 20 ability haste, which makes it great for literally any champ who deals damage with their abilities. In cases when you can't buy Ardent Censer, buy this item https://preview.redd.it/inl5m9vw4iqa1.png?width=1199&format=png&auto=webp&s=1452e4ed07bacef88866904c3a6417f39d654a68 Laning Phase:Milio is a really passive laner, he is one of the most, if not the most, passive enchanters in League. That is because Milio doesn't really have a strong poke in lane. He, like Janna or Renata, wants to play catch/disengage on lane. This is mostly dependant on enemy botlane. If you are against a hard engage botlane, you DON'T wanna use your Q to poke, because the enemy will all in on you once you use your only disengage tool. Your Q is able to cancel most melee support engages: Alistar's W, Rakan's W, Leona's E, Pantheon's W, Rell's W, Amumu's Q, Taric's E. Against hook supports, you can kinda cancel them, but your adc (or you) will still be stunned: Thresh's Q2, Nautilus' Q (Pyke and Blitzcrank bring you to them, so it doesn't work). The game plan against these botlanes is playing safe, don't get hooked, and try to disengage your ADC. Wait for the enemy support to make mistakes, or to miss/waste their essential ability, and punish them. If you are against another enchanter, it will probably be an even matchup. You can use your Q to poke, but it will probably be healed/shielded, and the same if they use their poke to your adc, you just shield them before. So we wanna take advantage of this. The game plan against these botlanes is using your Q to pop their shields/heals/buffs, and once they dissapear and the enemy enchanter has their abilites on cooldown, you just W + E to your ADC and look for a little trade. Then, rinse and repeat. If you are against a poke/mage support, theoretically it would be a winning matchups, as poke loses againts shields, but it is more complicated than that. Consider rushing Mikael against these lanes, for the MR and the extra cleanse, and just all-in into them once the enemy support wastes its cooldowns. The game plan against these lanes is similar to before, punish them for missing their abilities. Obviously, every game is different, and every player plays different. So be adaptive. In general, you always want to push LVL 2 (first wave and 3 melees minions from the second wave) before them and try to W or E your ADC so they can trade a couple basic attacks, unless the risk is too heavy and you might gift a double kill. But with Milio you just wait for action to happen. https://preview.redd.it/8pnj753y4iqa1.png?width=1199&format=png&auto=webp&s=dea7c636cc03d926593db2e943b43dfd0fc8f7a8 Roaming:Roaming is what makes the difference from one good support to a great support. It is a complicated topic, but the higher on rank you go, the more important it becomes. Not just for Milio, but for any support, even more on engage ones. There are a couple different scenarios where it would be useful to roam. 1- You backed, and are getting back to lane. NEVER go straight to botlane, path towards the jungle and pay attention to your teammates. Is my mid fighting and needs helps? Is my jungle contesting crab? Is my mid about to get dove? Is my jungle doing an objective? Does my jungler wants to invade and may need my help? The amount of times i saved my mid from any scenario, or pathed towards herald and made the difference towards an objective is what made me climb. 2- You wipe out the enemy botlane and crashed the wave into their tower, but don't have enough gold to buy an item. Roam somewhere, even if it is just putting a deep ward into enemy jungle. Ask yourself the same questions as before. 3- The enemy is freezing the wave. Do not worry about your ADC in these situations, just ping them careful or type in chat "roaming pls don't die", if your ADC plays safely, you might also force the enemy support to roam as well. You don't have to get an assist or do something really flashy when roaming. Just being there so your mid doesn't die is more than enough. Also, don't roam if it isn't necesary, or if your ADC will 100% die if you are not there. https://preview.redd.it/enighaly4iqa1.png?width=1199&format=png&auto=webp&s=c4b8f518dce966226d23bb750d6dea85ed4d10ce ADC Pairings:While theoretically ADC with tons of range like, Kog Maw or Cait seem to be the perfect pairing with Milio, just about any ADC that can make a threatening damage with their autos are really good. Ashe, Sivir, Jinx, Vayne, Draven, to say the least.I do think that ADCS that HUGELY rely on hard engage to dominate laning phase (Xayah, Tristana, Nilah, Samira) or ADCS/APCS that don't rely on basic attacks (Ezreal, Varus, Veigar, Ziggs, Seraphine) are not the ideal pair with Milio, so if you have the chance, you might consider changing your pick. https://preview.redd.it/k447sm3z4iqa1.png?width=1199&format=png&auto=webp&s=a6b30675c016fb28082935e58eaeb70472b5f22e Random Tips:-Don't buy so many control wards. If you hypothetically buy 2 control wards every back for the first 15 minutes, and say you died once. Assuming you only backed 7 times, you spent 525g only on vision, which is obviously an exaggerated number, but it shows how much money you can spend without realising. Also, item spikes are essential to Milio, so just buy one every back, and two only if there is an objective coming up.-You don't need to always babysit your ADC. I know that the range% in your W most games works only on your ADC, but if there is a teamfight, prioritize saving someone with your W rather than letting your 1/4 ADC gain 12% more range. -Build flexible. Not only with Shurelyas/Moonstone, but read the room and analize your team champs, then, buy accordingly. It doesn't serve much purpose to auto pilot and buy chemtech putrifier when there is no healing on the enemy team. -Try to avoid carrying ignite. Milio is always playing at the backline, and to ignite someone you have to put yourself in danger. If possible, bring exhaust or heal. (Don't do this if you are against a healer on lane, read the room) -Change to sweeper. Surely, you must change to sweeper once your support item evolves, but leaving a ward in the river and changing it before the match starts will help you in most cases. Having a sweeper helps you with roams, helps you control the bushes, and helps you eliminate enemy´s support wards. The only time i don't do this is if i am against a hard engage lane, where eliminating wards puts me in so much danger, or if i am against a heavy ganking jungler, like J4 or Nunu. https://preview.redd.it/mvba9rqz4iqa1.png?width=1199&format=png&auto=webp&s=92ece6711d0b9f0be116d7239f77471815274d90 This was my first time doing any type of guide, so im really sorry for any mistakes :P And thats it!
