So during senior year of high school I dated this girl for nearly 2 years. About 6 months into the relationship she cheated on me with my best friend after trying to hook up with him before we dated, and he was always trying to talk to her even once we were dating. We separated for over a month and a half and then agreed to get back together. I forgave both of them because it was either both or none (stupid I know). I was never fully over it and never fully forgave both of them which is what led to me breaking up with her.
Fast forward a year and a half later and she gets out of a relationship and her and I start talking and hanging out again for the past 2 months. Then I come to find out that they had sex in the time span that we were talking again. I obviously cut off all communication with her and lashed out at my best friend. After that, I then find out that they’ve been hanging out (more than a one night stand type of thing) even after I called him out on it. This was the final straw for me, he keeps trying to apologize but I don’t see any world where I will forgive him after everything that’s happened.
How do I proceed in terms of dealing with him? I would ask the same about her as I still do have some feelings for her but that’s probably done for good.

My calls are met with « we’re still working on it and will call you when it’s ready »
How long should I realistically wait before going somewhere else? I kinda don’t want to since I have to drive to each contractor business to pick everything out again, and I don’t have a car (city living)

My sister and I used to do all kinds of stuf when we were young (4) and (3). Idk how we understood sex at that point but its all foggy i cant remember that far back i literally have 2 memories from then and they are not happy ones. We kept on doing stuff until we realized that its wrong. We had no internet or anything, we knew it wasnt okay tho but we just didnt know how bad it was. Before we had stopped though my 2 male older cousins found out what we were doing. They had already hit puberty and I was about 7 yo. They were over alot since we were close.They would make me show them what i did to my sister. It was awkward af i'd say no and they'd start yelling. We lived in a good area but they didn't so they were already "gangsta" and to be honest i'd get scared and do as they said. They'd jerk off during it and then at some point would push me off and do it themselves. I used to just be there and try not to watch. I was scared for my sister. At some point i couldn't tolerate it anymore so i left the room. They then closed the door. Ever since then they'd lock the door and make me wait outside while they did what they did, I could see vague shapes through the living room glass door ( it was semi transparent but just enough to see entities moving).This kept happening for years until i hit puberty and threatened to tell my parents. Some point of me feels like it was my fault for doing stuff with my sister in the first place. I was so dumb for not threatening them earlier. Idk why i let it happen. This is just the start though in those years they lowkey made me do alot more. The worst part is they'd laugh.

Hes willing to introduce himself to my parents but not the other way around. He knew his parents than I do and them being strict muslim-pakistani, We both knew they wont take it well.
Now, My parents now know about him but my mom strictly disagree on our relationship, but my dad who was a muslim, is also willing to know him.
When I asked him about his parents, He said he will introduce me if marriage is on the talk. We both date to marry and he knew saying yes to him means I have plans marrying him. We do have marriage talk but us being asians, 2 months in the relationship wouldnt convince our parents about marriage as its too early.
However, My dad wants me to meet his family and be legal both parties (my parents and his parents) but my mom disagrees meeting him and his parents might not accept our relationship.
Were both committed in continuing our relationship no matter how our religion and cultures are different as were the one whos dating and not our parents. All of his friends knew about us and no one of his exes met his parents as his girlfriend.
Is this a red flag?

I am in my late thirties and thinking about how to get a job as a Python Developer in a Product Development company? I do not have any degree in Computer Science. I have spent more than 10 years in various IT companies working as SYSAdmin, N/W admin, Production Support Engineer. Since last 3 years are started learning about Python and ended up with a company as a contractor. The project got closed abruptly due to budget issue and since then I was unable to get a job as Python Developer as I was unable to pass the technical interview when they used to asked me to code a solution sometime in regard to basic coding / data structure. I joined the new project as technical resource but they are giving me some different tasks which not at all related with Python.
I bought the subscription from Structy and couple of Udemy courses but nothing is working at this time. I know basic of Python and if someone ask me to build a basic API I can do it with Flask or Django Rest Framework. For advance topic I always used to do search it on internet and then used to implement it.
I am not sure how I restart my career as Python developer. I have enough spent on various paid courses but nothing is working or I am not doing it passionately.
I would like a guidance in regard of how to start as a beginner in Python Developer and end up in Product base company in 6 months of time span. As I determined now, will spend at least 2 hours of a time daily for learning.

Hi! I'm an incoming freshman planning to follow the pre-med track with a bio major (that'll probably change tho to some other STEM major). I kinda procrastinated the housing stuff but after researching for a while, I decided I want to go for a Res College, either Willard or Slivka (top choices). I know the housing process is very random but I wanted to increase my chances of getting into my top choice by tailoring my essay to one, but I can't decide which one. Im somewhat of an ambivert (trying to be more social) and love learning about new people and cultures, and as much as I love a social scene, I still really value academics
Willard
I really enjoy the aspect of Willard being a non-thematic college because I want to make it my goal to meet a bunch of new people that aren't only science
It seems as if Willard has a large sense of community and I like how diverse the faculty is!
May be too far from my classes esp in the winter (I really dont like the cold)
Slivka
Contrary to Willard, maybe being in such a studious environment wouldn't be a bad idea..? and I lowk would love to have a bunch of science friends
The fact that the faculty are mostly STEM is really cool and I'd love to attend the fireside chats and such
I also heard Slivka being North is a big advantage for STEM majors (esp during the winter)
I like the events held here a little more than Willards (Harry’s Black Market Auction/Dance Marathon)

figured I’d give an update regarding my MIL. I posted asking to reality test about 2 months ago. Here’s what has happened since:

We didn’t invite them to our house or make plans. She basically stopped talking to us for a month. She cornered my husband at work again. He confronted the fact that she has no relationship with him and that she’s made no effort to support him. She cried- it was a shitshow. She said she would make efforts to be a better mom.

My husband and son saw them at a park the Saturday before Mother's day for 45 minutes . I dont want his parents in our house. (Mine either but that’s a different story.)

She called him twice in the past two months. She hasn’t made any effort to contact or check on me

My husband and I have decided that I’m going to be staying home through the birth and early years of our next child. We don’t trust our family to babysit.
We switched gears from discussing NC to just engaging with family as we did before kids. My MIL would cancel and reschedule bdays, holidays, etc. She made very little effort to spend time with us before we had kids. We’re just gonna match and maintain that energy moving forward. If she has an issue it’s too damn bad.
The way we see our parents has changed forever. I’m a generally forgiving person but I could not pretend to give a fuck about these ppl now. My husband understands and supports how I feel. He feels similarly. Thank you again for all the support I got on my previous post.
